1Danshenchuanxiongqin injection in the treatment of unstable angina pectoris: a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate systematically the efficacy and safety of Danshenchuanxiongqin Injection(DCI)in the treatment of unstable angina pectoris(UAP).METHODS:Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)regarding DCI used for treating UAP were searched in English and Chinese electronic databases from inception to January 2014.Two reviewers independently retrieved RCTs and extracted relevant information.The Cochrane risk of bias method was used to assess the quality of included studies,and a Meta-analysis was conducted with Review Manager5.2 software.RESULTS:Eleven RCTs involving 1034 participants were included.The methodological quality was relatively passable.The Meta-analysis indicated that the combined use of DCI and conventional treatment with Western Medicine(WM)was more efficacious in the outcomes of total effective rate[Relative Risk(RR)=1.27,95%CI(confidence interval;1.18,1.35),P<0.000 01],the total effective rate of ECG[RR=1.40,95%CI(1.18,1.66),P<0.000 01],total cholesterol[Mean difference(MD)=-0.58,95%CI(-0.83,-0.33),P<0.000 01],total triglycerides[MD=-0.36,95%CI(-0.54,-0.17),P=0.0001],and the number of ST-segment depression[MD=-0.36,95%CI(-0.54,-0.17),P=0.0001].There were two adverse drug reactions reported in one study.CONCLUSION:Based on the systematic review,DCI combined with WM appeared to be efficacious in the treatment UAP.However,the evidence of DCI for treating UAP requires large-scale and double-blind RCTs to substantiate these findings.Zhang Xiaomeng Wu Jiarui Zhang Bing Zhou Wei 2016Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,2:24
2Efficacy and safety of puerarin injection in treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy: a systematic review and Meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of puerarin injection in the treatment of diabeticperi pheral neuropathy(DPN).METHODS: Randomized controlled trials investigating the efficacy of puerarin injection on DPN were searched for in China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database, Chinese Scientific Journals Database, Wanfang Database, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, PubMed, and Cochrane Library from establishment to April 30.Two reviewers independently retrieved and extracted the information.The included studies were assessed by the Cochrane risk of bias and analyzed by Review Manager 5.2 software.RESULTS: Twenty-two studies involving 1664 participants were included. The quality of the studies was found to be relatively low. Meta-analysis showed that puerarin injection combined with western medication was more effective than conventional therapy for rate, nerve conduction velocity(NCV), and hemorheology index. Six adverse drug reactions(ADRs) from puerarin injection were reported in two studies. Reactions included facial flushing, palpitations, and pain at infusion locations. However,noserious ADRs were reported.CONCLUSION: Puerarin injection was effective for the treatment of DPN. Puerarin can improve the total effective rate, correct NCV that was decreased by diabetes, and improve the hemorheology index.Puerarin was also relatively safe clinically. 3Potassium dehydroandrographolide succinate injection for treatment of infantile pneumonia:a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate systematically the clinical efficacy and safety of potassium dehydroandrographolide succinate injection(PDS) in treatment of infantile pneumonia.METHODS:Randomized controlled trials(RCTs) of infantile pneumonia treated by PDS were searched in China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database,China Science and Technology Journal Database,Wanfang Database,Chinese Biomedical Literature Database,PubMed,and Cochrane Library,from January 1979 to July 2013.Two reviewers independently retrieved the RCTs and extracted the information.The quality of included studies was assessed by the Cochrane risk of bias,and a Meta-analysis was conducted with Review Manager 5.2 software.RESULTS:A total of 9 studies with 1056 participants were included.The quality of the studies was generally no high,only one study mentioned the random method.The Meta-analysis indicated that PDS was significantly superior to the conventional therapy in the total effective rate[relative risk(RR)=1.21,95%CI(1.14,1.27),P<0.000 01],the time of temperature recovery[mean difference(MD)=-1.43,95%CI(-1.75,-1.11),P<0.000 01],rale disappeared and cough relieving[MD=-1.44,95%CI(-1.93,-0.90),P<0.000 01].Six adverse drug reactions from five studies mainly represented rash and diarrhea,and no serious ADRs were reported.CONCLUSION:Based on this systematic review,PDS was proved effective and relatively safe in treatment of infantile pneumonia.However the articles enrolled in the study were not high in quality,studies with higher quality should be conducted for assessment of efficacy and safety of PDS in treatment of infantile pneumonia.Zhang Xiaomeng Wu Jiarui Zhang Bing Dong Ling 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,2:17

5What are the best Salvia miltiorrhiza injection classes for treatment of unstable angina pectoris? A systematic review and network Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To undertake a systematic review and network meta-analysis(NMA) to compare the effectiveness among the different regimens of Salvia miltiorrhiza injection classes(SMICs) for unstable angina pectoris(UAP) treatment.METHODS: A systematic retrieval was conducted in several literature databases to identify randomized controlled trials focusing on the different regimens of SMICs for UAP treatment until January2016. The quality assessment was accomplished according to the Cochrane risk of bias tool. Pair-wise meta-analyses were carried out by Rev Man 5.3. A random-effects model of NMA was used to compare the different regimens of SMICs with regard to efficacy by STATA 13.0.RESULTS: A total of 111 studies involving 10 500patients were included in the NMA. The methodological quality of included studies was not high.Current evidence shows that salvianolate(SI) is the optimal treatment for UAP in improving the total efficacy against UAP. Guanxingning(GXN) is the optimal treatment for UAP for improving the total effectiveness of electrocardiography.CONCLUSION: SMICs have advantages in preventing cardiovascular events. 6A phase I study of different doses and frequencies of pegylated recombinant human granulocyte-colony stimulating factor(PEG rhG-CSF) in patients with standard-dose chemotherapy-induced neutropenia显示文摘Objective: The recommended dose of prophylactic pegylated recombinant human granulocyte-colony stimulating factor(PEG rhG-CSF) is 100 μg/kg once per cycle for patients receiving intense-dose chemotherapy.However, few data are available on the proper dose for patients receiving less-intense chemotherapy. The aim of this phase I study is to explore the proper dose and administration schedule of PEG rhG-CSF for patients receiving standard-dose chemotherapy.Methods:Eligible patients received 3-cycle chemotherapy every 3 weeks.No PEG rhG-CSF was given in the first cycle.Patients experienced grade 3 or 4 neutropenia would then enter the cycle 2 and 3.In cycle 2,patients received a single subcutaneous injection of prophylactic PEG rhG-CSF on d 3,and received half-dose subcutaneous injection in cycle 3 on d 3 and d 5,respectively.Escalating doses(30,60,100 and 200μg/kg)of PEG rhG-CSF were investigated.Results:A total of 26 patients were enrolled and received chemotherapy,in which 24 and 18 patients entered cycle 2 and cycle 3 treatment,respectively.In cycle 2,the incidence of grade 3 or 4 neutropenia for patients receiving single-dose PEG rhG-CSF of 30,60,100 and 200 μg/kg was 66.67%,33.33%,22.22% and 0,respectively,with a median duration less than 1(0–2)d.No grade 3 or higher neutropenia was noted in cycle 3 in all dose cohorts.Conclusions:The pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic profiles of PEG rhG-CSF used in cancer patients were similar to those reported,as well as the safety.Double half dose administration model showed better efficacy result than a single dose model in terms of grade 3 neutropenia and above.The single dose of 60 μg/kg,100 μg/kg and double half dose of 30 μg/kg were recommended to the phase Ⅱ study,hoping to find a preferable method for neutropenia treatment.Yan Qin Xiaohong Han Lin Wang Ping Du Jiarui Yao Di Wu Yuanyuan Song Shuxiang Zhang Le Tang Yuankai Shi 2017Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2017,29,5:11
7Comparative efficacy and safety of Chinese herbal injections combined with transcatheter hepatic arterial chemoembolization in treatment of liver cancer: a bayesian network Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To address the optimal Chinese herbal injections(CHIs) against liver cancer, the present network Meta-analysis is designed to investigate the comparative efficacy and safety of different CHIs.METHODS: Several electronic databases were searched up to June 1 st, 2017. The quality assessment was conducted and network Meta-analysis was performed to compare the efficacy and safety of different CHIs plus transcatheter hepatic arterial chemoembolization(TACE). Primary outcomes were 1-year and 2-year survival rate, the secondary outcomes includes the clinical effective rate, performance status and the adverse reactions(ADRs). Data analysis was applied Stata 13.0 and Win BUGS 1.4 software.RESULTS: A total of 105 randomized controlled trials(RCTs) were identified for inclusion in this analysis, with data for 7683 patients and 13 CHIs. The results suggested that Javanica oil emulsion,Huachansu injection plus TACE were more favorable for 1-year and 2-year survival rate than other CHIs. 9Toripalimab plus chemotherapy as second-line treatment in previously EGFR-TKI treated patients with EGFR-mutant-advanced NSCLC:a multicenter phase-II trial显示文摘This multicenter phase-II trial aimed to investigate the efficacy,safety,and predictive biomarkers of toripalimab plus chemotherapy as second-line treatment in patients with EGFR-mutant-advanced NSCLC.Patients who failed from first-line EGFR-TKIs and did not harbor T790M mutation were enrolled.Toripalimab plus carboplatin and pemetrexed were administrated every three weeks for up to six cycles,followed by the maintenance of toripalimab and pemetrexed.The primary endpoint was objective-response rate(ORR).Integrated biomarker analysis of PD-L1 expression,tumor mutational burden(TMB),CD8+tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte(TIL)density,whole-exome,and transcriptome sequencing on tumor biopsies were also conducted.Forty patients were enrolled with an overall ORR of 50.0%and disease-control rate(DCR)of 87.5%.The median progression free survival(PFS)and overall survival were 7.0 and 23.5 months,respectively.The most common treatment-related adverse effects were leukopenia,neutropenia,anemia,ALT/AST elevation,and nausea.Biomarker analysis showed that none of PD-L1 expression,TMB level,and CD8+TIL density could serve as a predictive biomarker.Integrated analysis of whole-exome and transcriptome sequencing data revealed that patients with DSPP mutation had a decreased M2 macrophage infiltration and associated with longer PFS than those of wild type.Toripalimab plus chemotherapy showed a promising anti-tumor activity with acceptable safety profiles as the second-line setting in patients with EGFR-mutant NSCLC.DSPP mutation might serve as a potential biomarker for this combination.A phase-III trial to compare toripalimab versus placebo in combination with chemotherapy in this setting is ongoing(NCT03924050).Tao Jiang Pingyang Wang Jie Zhang Yanqiu Zhao Jianying Zhou Yun Fan Yongqian Shu Xiaoqing Liu Helong Zhang Jianxing He Guanghui Gao Xiaoqian Mu Zhang Bao Yanjun Xu Renhua Guo Hong Wang Lin Deng Ningqiang Ma Yalei Zhang Hui Feng Sheng Yao Jiarui Wu Luonan Chen Caicun Zhou Shengxiang Ren 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,11:8
10Efficacy and safety of ginkgo injections in the treatment of angina pectoris caused by coronary heart disease in China: a network Meta-analysis and systematic review显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To assess the clinical efficacy and safety of ginkgo injections(GIs)combined with conventional treatment(CT)against angina pectoris(AP)due to coronary heart disease(CH D).METHODS:Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)that used GIs to treat AP were searched in SinoMed,PubMed,China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database,Chinese Scientific Journals Database,Wanfang Database,Embase and Cochrane Library until March 2017.The Cochrane 'risk of bias' method was used to evaluate the methodological quality of RCTs.Data were analyzed using Stata v13.1 and WinBUGS v1.4.3.RESULTS:A total of 73 RCTs involving 7621 patients were included.A Bayesian network Meta-analysis of RCTs was undertaken,and the advantages of four types of Gl-supplemented CT in AP treatment were determined.CONCLUSION:Gl-assisted CT was more effective against AP than CT alone.However,based on the limitations of the study,additional high-quality RCTs are required to confirm our findings.Tan Di Wu Jiarui Jing Zhiwei Duan Xiaojiao Cui Yingying Liu Shi 2019Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2019,39,3:8
11Injections of ginkgo in the treatment of cerebral infarction: a systematic review and network Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To assess the clinical effectiveness and safety of injections of ginkgo(GI) combined with Western Medicine(WM) for cerebral infarction(CI).METHODS: Randomized controlled trials(RCTs) of CI treated by GI were searched in China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database, Wanfang, China Science and Technology Journal Database, Web of Science, Cochrane library, Embase, Pub Med and Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, with the publication data no later than April, 2016. The Cochrane risk of bias method was used to evaluate the methodological quality of the RCTs. The data were analyzed by Review Manager 5.3, Stata 13.0,and Win BUGS 14 software.RESULTS: Totally 37 RCTs involving 4330 patientswere included. By direct comparison, the results of GI group were significantly superior to the routine WM group in the total effective rates [OR = 3.61,95% CI(2.93, 4.44), P < 0.0001], the neural function defect score(NFDS) [MD =-4.39, 95% CI(-5.47,-3.32), P < 0.0001]. Network Meta-analysis(NMA)results showed that, between 5 GIs in efficacy, the difference comparing ginaton injections(Gb E) to ginkgo-dipyidamolum injections(GD) [OR = 1.74,95% CI(0.73, 3.65)], shuxuening injections(SXN)[OR = 1.06, 95% CI(0.609, 1.697)] or ginkgolides injections(GK) [OR = 4.711, 95% CI(1.178, 13.21)]reach statistical significance; the difference comparing GD to GK reach statistical significance [OR =2.791, 95% CI(0.866, 6.908)]; the difference comparing SXN to GK reach statistical significance[OR = 4.537, 95% CI(1.203, 12.41)]. Besides, there was no difference between 4 GIs in NFDS. Probability ranking result showed a great possibility for GK [Surface under the Cumulative Ranking curve(SUCRA) = 80.3%] in improving the total effective rates, which were followed by GD(SUCRA =73.34%), SXN(SUCRA = 46.59%), Gb E(SUCRA =45.46%), floium ginkgo extract and tertram ethypyrazine sodium chloride injections(FT)(SUCRA = 35.64%). However, GK(SUCRA = 80.3%) or Gb E(SUCRA = 69.4%) was better than other GIs in reducing NFDS.GK + WM is the best treatment measures to reduce NFDS in cerebral infarction,which were followed by SXN + WM(SUCRA =51.6%), GD + WM(SUCRA = 48.1%).CONCLUSION: GIs was more effectiveness on CI than the routine Western Medicine. 12Direct observation of ultrafast plasmonic hot electron transfer in the strong coupling regime显示文摘Achieving strong coupling between plasmonic oscillators can significantly modulate their intrinsic optical properties.Here,we report the direct observation of ultrafast plasmonic hot electron transfer from an Au grating array to an MoS_(2) monolayer in the strong coupling regime between localized surface plasmons(LSPs)and surface plasmon polaritons(SPPs).By means of femtosecond pump-probe spectroscopy,the measured hot electron transfer time is approximately 40 fs with a maximum external quantum yield of 1.65%.Our results suggest that strong coupling between LSPs and SPPs has synergetic effects on the generation of plasmonic hot carriers,where SPPs with a unique nonradiative feature can act as an‘energy recycle bin’to reuse the radiative energy of LSPs and contribute to hot carrier generation.Coherent energy exchange between plasmonic modes in the strong coupling regime can further enhance the vertical electric field and promote the transfer of hot electrons between the Au grating and the MoS_(2) monolayer.Our proposed plasmonic strong coupling configuration overcomes the challenge associated with utilizing hot carriers and is instructive in terms of improving the performance of plasmonic opto-electronic devices.Hangyong Shan Ying Yu Xingli Wang Yang Luo Shuai Zu Bowen Du Tianyang Han Bowen Li Yu Li Jiarui Wu Feng Lin Kebin Shi Beng Kang Tay Zheng Liu Xing Zhu Zheyu Fang 2019Light(Science & Applications)2019,8,1:7

17Study on imaging method for measuring droplet size in large sprays显示文摘Information of droplet size and size distribution lays the basis for investigations of atomization mechanisms and performance optimization.However,the laser diffraction and phase Doppler particle analyzers have difficulty in accurately characterizing sprays with a wide range of droplet sizes and very large droplets,especially if a large number of droplets are aspherical.A method to measure size in such largedroplet sprays based on digital imaging with backward illumination was developed,including an image acquisition system and image process programs.Calibration of the measurement system was performed using a dot calibration target with different dot sizes.An experimental setup was designed and established to characterize spray nozzles under different operation loads,as well as different nozzle arrangements.Results show that the droplet size of sprays ranges from dozens of microns to several millimeters.The superiority of wide load range for such nozzles was indicated by the size-measurement results under half-load to full-load operations.The present study revealed that the image processing technique can be effectively implemented for in-line size measurements of sprays with a wide distribution of droplet size and aspherical droplets,which would be difficult to characterize by other methods.Wu Zhou Jiarui Hu Mingliang Feng Bin Yang Xiaoshu Cai 2015Particuology2015,13,5:3

19Chk1 prevents abnormal mitosis of S-phase HeLa cells containing DNA damage显示文摘To explore effects of DNA damage on cell-cycle progression in p53-deficient tumor cells, synchronized HeLa cells at G1, S and G2/M phases were treated with methyl methanesulfnate (MMS). The results showed that the MMS treatment resulted in the cell-cycle arrest or delay in all 3 phases, while the S-phase cells were the most sensitive to MMS. Further studies demonstrated that ATM-Chk2 and p38 MAPK signaling pathways were activated in all 3 phases when the cells were treated with MMS; whereas Chk1 was activated only in S phase under the drug treatment, indicating that Chk1 specifically participated in S-phase checkpoints. To analyze the role of Chk1 in S-phase checkpoints, we administered a specific Chk1 inhibitor, UCN-01, to the S-phase cells. The results showed that the S-phase cells treated with MMS+UCN-01 could enter aberrant mitosis without finishing DNA replication, indicating that Chk1 mainly functions in the DNA damage checkpoint rather than in the replication checkpoint. In addition, MMS treatment alone inhibited the accumulation of cyclin B1, a key component of M-phase CDK-cyclin complex, in the S-phase cells, whereas the inhibition of Chk1 activation resulted in the accumulation of cyclin B1 in the MMS-treated S-phase cells. This observation further supports the view that DNA-damaged S-phase cells enter abnormal mitosis when Chk1 activation is inhibited. Our results demonstrate that Chk1 is a specific kinase that plays an important role in the MMS-induced S-phase DNA damage checkpoint. 20Genome editing and animal models显示文摘Transgenic technology allows a gene of interest to be introduced into the genome of a laboratory animal,and provides an extremely powerful tool to dissect the molecular mechanisms of disease.Transgenic mouse models made by microinjection of DNA into zygotic pronuclei in particular have been widely used by the genetics community for 30 years.However,it remains a rather crude approach:injected sequences randomly insert in multiple copies as concatamers,they can be mutagenic,and they have variable or silenced expression depending on the site of integration,a phenomenon called position effects.As a result,multiple lines are required in order to confirm appropriate transgene expression.This can be partially overcome by flanking transgenes with insulator sequences to protect the transgene from the influence of the surrounding regulatory elements.Large(\300 kb)BACbased transgenic vectors have also been shown to be more resistant to position effects.However,animals carrying extra copies of fairly large regions of the genome could have unpredictable phenotypes.The most effective method used to control for position effects is to target transgene insertion to specific genomic loci,the so-called targeted transgenesis;for instance,the fast,site-specific transgenic technology Targatt TM.The purpose of this review is to provide an overview on the current existing methods for making targeted transgenic mouse models.Ruby Yanru Chen-Tsai Ruhong Jiang Luping Zhuang Junfeng Wu Lingsong Li Jiarui Wu 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,1:2
