| 3 | Impact of National Centralized Drug Procurement Policy on Antiviral Utilization and Expenditure for Hepatitis B in China显示文摘Background and Aims:The National Centralized Drug Procurement(NCDP)policy was launched in China's Mainland in April 2019,with entecavir(ETV)and tenofovir disoproxil fumarate(TDF)being included in the procurement list.We conducted the current study to investigate the impact of the NCDP policy on the utilization and expenditures of antiviral therapy for chronic hepatitis B(CHB)in China.Methods:Procurement records,including monthly purchase volume,expenditure,and price of nucleos(t)ide analogs(NAs),were derived from the National Healthcare Security Administration from April 2018 to March 2021.The changes in volumes and expenditures of the first-line NAs and bid-winning products were calculated.The effects of price,volume,and structure related to drug expenditure were calculated by the Addis and Magrini(AM)Index System Analysis.Results:The purchase volume of NAs significantly increased from 134.3 to 318.3 million DDDs,whereas the expenditure sharply decreased from 1,623.41 to 490.43 million renminbi(RMB)or 241.94 to 73.09 million US dollars(USD).The proportions of firstline NAs rose from 72.51%(ETV:69.00%,TDF:3.51%)to 94.97%(ETV:77.42%,TDF:17.55%).AM analysis showed that the NCDP policy decreased the expenditure of all NAs(S=0.91)but increased that of the first-line NAs in the bidwinning list(S=1.13).Assuming the population size of CHB patients remains stable and a compliance rate of≥75%,the proportion of CHB patients receiving first-line antiviral therapy would increase from 6.36–8.48%to 11.56–15.41%.Conclusions:The implementation of the NCDP policy significantly increased the utilization of first-line NAs for CHB patients at a lower expenditure.The findings provided evidence for optimizing antiviral therapy strategy and allocating medical resources in China. | Xinyu Zhao Min Li Hao Wang Xiaoqian Xu Xiaoning Wu Yameng Sun Canjian Ning Bingqiong Wang Shuyan Chen Hong You Jidong Jia Yuanyuan Kong | 2022 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,3: | 4 |
| 4 | How does ecological civilization construction affect carbon emission intensity?Evidence from Chinese provinces’panel data显示文摘Ecological civilization construction is a new concept and trend in the era of China's high-quality development.It requires the collaborative propulsion of an ecological economic civilization,ecological social civilization,and ecological environment civilization.Reducing carbon emission intensity is an important issue facing the Chinese government in the backdrop of global warming.Thus,studying the influence of ecological civilization construction on carbon emission intensity from different perspectives has important theoretical and practical significance.In this study,the influences of the three subsystems of an ecological civilization on carbon emission intensity are empirically analyzed using Chinese provincial panel data from 2004 to 2016 and a spatial Durbin model based on the STIRPAT model.First,the Moran's I of carbon emission intensity in Chinese provinces was between 0.425 and 0.473.This indicates positive spatial correlation and illustrates that the carbon emission intensity of China's provinces can influence each other.The reasons behind this correlation include close ties between neighboring provinces and similarities in natural,economic,and social characteristics.Second,the correlation coefficients of ecological economic civilization,ecological social civilization,and ecological environment civilization to carbon emission intensity are−4.743139,2.865884,and−0.3246447,respectively.This illustrates that an ecological economic civilization and ecological environment civilization can reduce carbon emission intensity,while an ecological social civilization can increase it.To reduce total carbon emission intensity,the three subsystems of ecological civilization should have a negative relationship with carbon emission intensity,so the effect of ecological social civilization on carbon emission intensity should be changed.Third,the spatial spillover effect of ecological social civilization did not pass the significance test.The correlation coefficients of spatial spillover effect to ecological economic civilization and ecological environment civilization are 2.046531 and−3.238323,respectively.Improving the ecological economic civilization can increase the carbon emission intensity of periphery provinces,while improving the ecological environment civilization can reduce it.Thus,it is necessary to enhance cooperation between periphery provinces and establish a trans-provincial cooperation mechanism for reducing carbon emissions. | Kai Liu Yameng Tao Yi Wu Chengxin Wang | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2020,18,2: | 3 |
| 5 | Electrochemical Surface Restructuring of Phosphorus-Doped Carbon@MoP Electrocatalysts for Hydrogen Evolution显示文摘The hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) through electrocatalysis is promising for the production of clean hydrogen fuel. However,designing the structure of catalysts,controlling their electronic properties,and manipulating their catalytic sites are a significant challenge in this field. Here,we propose an electrochemical surface restructuring strategy to design synergistically interactive phosphorus-doped carbon@MoP electrocatalysts for the HER. A simple electrochemical cycling method is developed to tune the thickness of the carbon layers that cover on MoP core,which significantly influences HER performance. Experimental investigations and theoretical calculations indicate that the inactive surface carbon layers can be removed through electrochemical cycling,leading to a close bond between the MoP and a few layers of coated graphene. The electronsdonated by the MoP core enhance the adhesion and electronegativity of the carbon layers;the negatively charged carbon layers act as an active surface. The electrochemically induced optimization of the surface/interface electronic structures in the electrocatalysts significantly promotes the HER. | 9 | UV light absorbers executing synergistic effects of passivating defects and improving photostability for efficient perovskite photovoltaics显示文摘Metal halide perovskite-based solar cells(PSCs) have rapidly-increased power conversion efficiency(PCE)exceeding 25% but poor stability especially under ultraviolet(UV) light. Meanwhile, non-radiative recombination caused by diverse defects in perovskite absorbers and related interfaces is one of the major factors confining further development of PSCs. In this study, we systematically investigate the role of 2-(2-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl)benzotriazole(UVP) additive in perovskite layers. By adjusting the amount of doped UVP, the quality of perovskite absorbers is significantly improved with enlarged grains, longer lifetime and diffusion length of charge carriers. Furthermore, UVP not only reduces defects for less nonradiative recombination, but also matches energy level alignment for efficient interfacial charge extraction. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy confirms that N-donor of UVP molecule coordinates with undercoordinated Pb^(2+) on the surface. Interestingly, UVP incorporated in PbI_(2) protects the perovskite by absorbing UV through the opening and closing of the chelating ring. Eventually, the UVP treated PSCs obtain a champion PCE of 22.46% with remarkably enhanced UV stability, retaining over 90% of initial PCE after 60 m W/cm^(2) strong UV irradiation for 9 h while the control maintaining only 74%. Considering long porous tubes the irrigation uniformity of porous tubes was studied by analyzing the deviation rate of the working head of porous tubes and through an impact analysis of the deviation ratio of flow rate based on laying length slope pressure head and perforation spacing. Results showed that the deviation ratio of the flow rate could be reduced by decreasing the length of tubes and increasing the slope. The deviation ratio of flow rate was less influenced by pressure head and perforation spacing. | 19 | Hydroxyapatite reinforced inorganic-organic hybrid nanocomposite as high-performance adsorbents for bilirubin removal in vitro and in pig models显示文摘Highly efficient removal of bilirubin from whole blood directly by hemoperfusion for liver failure therapy remains a challenge in the clinical field due to the low adsorption capacity,poor mechanical strength and low biocompatibility of adsorbents.In this work,a new class of nanocomposite adsorbents was constructed through an inorganic-organic co-crosslinked nanocomposite network between vinyltriethoxysilane(VTES)-functionalized hydroxyapatite nanoparticles(V-Hap)and non-ionic styrene-divinylbenzene(PS-DVB)resins(PS-DVB/V-Hap)using suspension polymerization.Notably,our adsorbent demonstrated substantially improved mechanical performance compared to the pure polymer,with the hardness and modulus increasing by nearly 3 and 2.5 times,respectively.Moreover,due to the development of a mesoporous structure,the prepared PS-DVB/V-Hap3 exhibited an ideal adsorption capacity of 40.27 mg·g^(-1).More importantly,the obtained adsorbent beads showed outstanding blood compatibility and biocompatibility.Furthermore,in vivo extracorporeal hemoperfusion verified the efficacy and biosafety of the adsorbent for directly removing bilirubin from whole blood in pig models,and this material could potentially prevent liver damage and improve clinical outcomes.Taken together,the results suggest that PS-DVB/V-Hap3 beads can be used in commercial adsorption columns to threat hyperbilirubinemia patients through hemoperfusion,thus replacing the existing techniques where plasma separation is initially required. | Yamin Chai Zhuang Liu Yunzheng Du Lichun Wang Jinyan Lu Qian Zhang a Wenyan Han Tingting Wang Yameng Yu Lisha Sun Lailiang Ou | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,12: | 0 |
| 20 | RPL18aB helps maintain suspensor identity during early embryogenesis显示文摘During embryogenesis, plants are thought to use a mechanism that allows the suspensor to maintain its identity. Here, we reported that RPL_18aB is involved in this mechanism in Arabidopsis thaliana. The suspensor cells proliferated in rpl_18aB and formed a multicellular structure rather than undergo programmed cell death, as in wild type. Suspensors of rpl_18aB expressed the embryo proper marker, DRN::GFP, but not the suspensor marker, WOX8::GFP. In addition, auxin accumulated throughout the suspensors of rpl_18aB proembryos. Suspensor-specific expression of RPL_18aB could rescue the cell proliferation defects in rpl_18aB suspensors.
