1Data Fusion Algorithm Based on Fuzzy Sets and D-S Theory of Evidence显示文摘In cyber-physical systems, multidimensional data fusion is an important method to achieve comprehensive evaluation decisions and reduce data redundancy. In this paper, a data fusion algorithm based on fuzzy set theory and Dempster-Shafer(D-S) evidence theory is proposed to overcome the shortcomings of the existing decision-layer multidimensional data fusion algorithms. The basic probability distribution of evidence is determined based on fuzzy set theory and attribute weights, and the data fusion of attribute evidence is combined with the credibility of sensor nodes in a cyber-physical systems network. 2The HuangZaoSi Maize Genome Provides Insights into Genomic Variation and Improvement History of Maize显示文摘Maize is a globally important crop that was a classic model plant for genetic studies. Here, we report a 2.2 Gb draft genome sequence of an elite maize line, HuangZaoSi (HZS). Hybrids bred from HZS-improved lines (HILs) are planted in more than 60% of maize fields in China. Proteome clustering of six completed sequeneed maize genomes show that 638 proteins fall into 264 HZS-specific gene families with the majority of contributions from tandem duplication events. Resequencing and comparative analysis of 40 HZSrelated lines reveals the breeding history of HILs. More than 60% of identified selective sweeps were clustered in identity.by.descent conserved regions, and yield-related genes/QTLs were enriched in HZS characteristic selected regions. Furthermore, we dem on strated that HZS-specific family genes were not uniformly distributed in the genome but enriched in improvement/function.related genomic regions. 3The Coix Genome Provides Insights into Panicoideae Evolution and Papery Hull Domestication显示文摘Coix is a grass crop domesticated as early as the Neolithic era.It is still widely cultivated for both highly nutritional food and medicinal use.However,the genetic study and breeding of this crop are hindered by the lack of a sequenced genome.Here,we report de novo sequencing and assembly of the 1619-Mb genome of Coix,and annotation of 75.39%repeats and 39629 protein-coding genes.Comparative genomics analysis showed that Coix is more closely related to sorghum than maize,but intriguingly only Coix and maize had a recent genome duplication event,which was not detected in sorghum.We further constructed a genetic map and mapped several important traits,especially the strength of hull.Selection of papery hull(thin:easy dehulling)from the stony hull(thick:difficult dehulling)in wild progenitors was a key step in Coix domestication.The papery hull makes seed easier to process and germinate.Anatomic and global transcriptome analysis revealed that the papery hull is a result of inhibition of cell division and wall biogenesis.We also successfully demonstrated that seed hull pressure resistance is controlled by two major quantitative trait loci(QTLs),which are associated with hull thickness and color,respectively.The two QTLs were further fine mapped within intervals of 250 kb and 146 kb,respectively.These resources provide a platform for evolutionary studies and will facilitate molecular breeding of this important crop.Chao Guo Yanan Wang Aiguo Yang Jun He Chaowen Xiao Shanhua Lv Fengming Han Yibing Yuan Yuan Yuan Xiaolong Dong Juan Guo YawenYang-Hailan Liu Ningzhi Zuo Yaxi Hu Kangxu Zhao Zhengbo Jiang Xing Wang Tingting Jiang Yaou Sherf Moju Cao Yuan Wang Zhaobo Long Tingzhao Rong Luqi Huang Shufeng Zhou 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,2:11
4Activation of Mitochondrial orf355 Gene Expression by a Nuclear-Encoded DREB Transcription Factor Causes Cytoplasmic Male Sterility in Maize显示文摘Coordination between mitochondria and the nucleus is crucial for fertility determination in plants with cytoplasmic male sterility(CMS).Using yeast one-hybrid screening,we identified a transcription factor,ZmDREB1.7,that is highly expressed in sterile microspores at the large vacuole stage and activates the expression of mitochondria-encoded CMS gene orf355.Δpro,a weak allele of ZmDREB1.7 with the loss of a key unfolded protein response(UPR)motif in the promoter,partially restores male fertility of CMS-S maize.ZmDREB1.7 expression increases rapidly in response to antimycin A treatment,but this response is attenuated in theΔpro allele.Furthermore,we found that expression of orf355 in mitochondria activates mitochondrial retrograde signaling,which in turn induces ZmDREB1.7 expression.Taken together,these findings demonstrate that positive-feedback transcriptional regulation between a nuclear regulator and a mitochondrial CMS gene determines male sterility in maize,providing new insights into nucleus-mitochondria communication in plants.Senlin Xiao Jie Zang Yuanrong Pei Jie Liu Juan Liu Wei Song Zi Shi Aiguo Su Jiuran Zhao Huabang Chen 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,9:10
5Cenozoic tectono-sedimentary characteristics and extension model of the Northwest Sub-basin,South China Sea显示文摘Based on the interpretations of three seismic profiles and one wide-angle seismic profile across the Northwest Sub-basin,South China Sea.stratigraphic sequences,deformation characteristics and an extension model for this sub-basin have been worked out.Three tectonic-stratigraphic units are determined.Detailed analyses of extension show that the event occurred mainly during the Paleogene and resulted in the formation of half-grabens or grabens distributed symmetrically around the spreading center.Sediments are characterized by chaotic and discontinuous reflectors,indicating clastic sediments. Farther to the southwest,the sub-basin features mainly continental rifting instead of sea-floor spreading. The rifting would have been controlled by the shape of the massif and developed just along the northern edge of the Zhongsha-Xisha Block,rather than joined the Xisha Trough.After 25 Ma.a southward ridge jump triggered the opening of the Southwest Sub-basin.The NW-directed stress caused by the sea-floor spreading of the Northwest Sub-basin may have prevented the continuous opening of the sub-basin.After that the Northwest Sub-basin experienced thermal cooling and exhibited broad subsidence.The deep crustal structure shown by the velocity model from a wide-angle seismic profile is also symmetrical around the spreading center,which indicates that the Northwest Sub-basin might have opened in a pure shear model.Weiwei Ding Mingbi Li Lihong Zhao Aiguo Ruan Zhenli Wu 2011Geoscience Frontiers2011,2,4:9
6Growth and wood properties of a 38-year-old Populus simonii 3 P.nigra plantation established with different densities in semi-arid areas of northeastern China显示文摘To characterize the effects of plantation densities on the growth characteristics(diameter at breast level,tree height and volume)and the common wood properties,38-year-old Populus simonii 9 P.nigra clones planted with four levels of spacing(2 m 92 m,3 m 93 m,4 m 94 m,and 5 m 95 m)in a semi-arid area in northeastern China were examined.The results of ANOVA showed significant differences(P\0.01)for all the investigated growth traits and wood properties under different plantation densities,except for the chemical composition of wood.The repeatability and phenotypic variations of all the traits varied from 0.34 to 0.99 and from 13.45 to 59.65%,respectively.Except for wood density,which was significantly negatively correlated with the growth traits,a positive correlation was observed between the growth traits and all the other wood mechanical properties.However,most of the correlations between the growth traits and the chemical composition of the wood were not significant.The path analysis for the wood mechanical characteristics and the growth in the prediction of volume were significant and ranged from 0.18 to 0.72 for wood density and diameter at breast height,respectively,while those for the chemical composition of wood ranged from 0.001 to 0.336,which showed a low impact on the volume.The highest stand volume(610 m3)per hectare was observed with the 2 m 92 m spacing,which consequently provided a high total price and income,while a high individual volume growth per tree was observed with the 5 m 95 m spacing.The results suggested that for the poplar trees younger than 40 years in a semi-arid area in China,2 m 92 m spacing is suitable for obtaining a high volume per hectare,while 5 m 95 m spacing is best for obtaining a high individual volume per tree.Ammar Khalil Mohamed Ahmed Zhixiang Fu Changjun Ding Luping Jiang Xidong Han Aiguo Yang Yinghui Ma Xiyang Zhao 2020Journal of Forestry Research2020,31,2:6
7Seismic phases from the Moho and its implication on the ultraslow spreading ridge显示文摘The Moho interface provides critical evidence for crustal thickness and the mode of oceanic crust accretion.The seismic Moho interface has not been identified yet at the magma-rich segments(46°–52°E)of the ultraslow spreading Southwestern Indian Ridge(SWIR).This paper firstly deduces the characteristics and domains of seismic phases based on a theoretical oceanic crust model.Then,topographic correction is carried out for the OBS record sections along Profile Y3Y4 using the latest OBS data acquired from the detailed 3D seismic survey at the SWIR in 2010.Seismic phases are identified and analyzed,especially for the reflected and refracted seismic phases from the Moho.A 2D crustal model is finally established using the ray tracing and travel-time simulation method.The presence of reflected seismic phases at Segment 28 shows that the crustal rocks have been separated from the mantle by cooling and the Moho interface has already formed at zero age.The 2D seismic velocity structure across the axis of Segment 28 indicates that detachment faults play a key role during the processes of asymmetric oceanic crust accretion.ZHANG Jiazheng ZHAO Minghui QIU Xuelin LI Jiabiao RUAN Aiguo 2013Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,12:5
8Longitudinal distributions of two formation pathways of biogenic gases in continental deposits: A case study from Sebei 1 gas field in the Qaidam Basin, western China显示文摘The distribution of two formation pathways of biogenic methane, acetate fermentation and reduction of CO2, has been extensively studied. In general, CO2 reduction is the dominate pathway in marine envi- ronment where acetate is relatively depleted because of SRB consuming. While in terrestrial freshwater or brackish environment, acetate fermentation is initially significant, but decreases with increasing buried depth. In this paper, character of biogenic gases is profiled in the XS3-4 well of the Sebei 1 gas field in the Sanhu depression, Qaidam Basin. It indicates that those two pathways do not change strictly with increasing buried depth. CO2 reduction is important near the surface (between 50 m and 160 m), and at the mesozone (between 400 and 1650 m). While acetate fermentation is the primary pathway at two zones, from 160 to 400 m and from 1650 to 1700 m. δ 13C of methane generated in those two acetate fermentation zones varies greatly, owing to different sediment circumstances. At the sec- ond zone (160-400 m), δ 13C1 ranges from ?65‰ to ?30‰ (PDB), because the main deposit is mudstone and makes the circumstance confined. At the fourth zone of the well bottom (1650-1700 m), δ 13C1 is lighter than ?65‰ (PDB). Because the deposit is mainly composed of siltstone, it well connects with outer fertile groundwater and abundant nutrition has supplied into this open system. The high con- centration of acetate is a forceful proof. δ 13C of methane would not turn heavier during fermentation, owing to enough nutrition supply. In spite of multi-occurrence of acetate fermentation, the commercial gas accumulation is dominated by methane of CO2-reduction pathway. 9Zircon U–Pb dating and whole-rock elemental geochemistry of the Shazi anatase deposit in Qinglong,Western Guizhou,SW China显示文摘The Shazi deposit is a large-scale anatase deposit in Qinglong, Guizhou Province. Zircon grains from this deposit yielded a zircon U–Pb age of *259 Ma, representing the formation age of the deposit's parent rocks.This age is identical to the eruption age of the Emeishan large igneous province, indicating a synchronous magmatic event. The rare-earth-element patterns of laterite samples were similar to those of the weathered basalt sample, and sub-parallel to those of the Emeishan high-Ti basalts,implying a genetic relationship between the laterite and the basalt. The Chemical Index of Alteration values of laterite ranged from 96 to 98, suggesting a high degree of weathering. SiO_2, MgO, and alkaline metal elements decreased with increasing degree of weathering, while Al_2O_3, Fe_2O_3,and TiO_2 increased. We found the highest TiO_2 in laterite and the lowest in pillow basalts, indicating that Ti migrated from basalt to laterite.Our U–Pb dating and whole-rock elemental geochemistry analyses suggest that the Emeishan basalt is the parent rock of the Shazi anatase ore deposit.Based on our analysis, we propose a metallogenic model to explain the ore-forming process, in which the karst terrain formed by the Emeishan mantle plume and the subsequent basaltic magma eruption were the key factors in the formation the Shazi anatase ore deposit.Jun Sun Zhao Jingyu Aiguo Nie 2017Acta Geochimica2017,36,2:4
10Identification of a locus associated with genic male sterility in maize via EMS mutagenesis and bulked-segregant RNA-seq显示文摘Genic male sterility(GMS) is one of the most important resources for exploiting heterosis in crop breeding, so that identifying genomic loci regulating GMS is desirable. However, many regulatory genes controlling GMS have not yet been characterized in maize, owing partly to a lack of genetic materials. We generated a recessive male-sterile maize mutant in the Jing 724 genetic background via ethyl methanesulfonate treatment, and found the male sterility to be due to a single gene mutation. Bulk-segregant RNA sequencing of three replicates indicated that one genomic region located at the end of chromosome 4 was associated with the observed mutant phenotype. Among genes with nonsynonymous mutations,Zm00001 d053895(bHLH51) showed abolished expression in the sterile bulks and was annotated as a bHLH transcription factor orthologous to Arabidopsis AMS, suggesting an association with the male sterility of the mutant. Kompetitive Allele-Specific PCR assays further validated the exclusive correlation of male sterility with the single C-to-T mutation in the fifth exon. 11Effects of Structural Parameters on the Poisson’s Ratio and Compressive Modulus of 2D Pentamode Structures Fabricated by Selective Laser Melting显示文摘Metamaterials have been receiving an increasing amount of interest in recent years. As a type of metamaterial, pentamode materials (PMs) approximate the elastic properties of liquids. In this study, a finite-element analysis was conducted to predict the mechanical properties of PM structures by altering the thin wall thicknesses and layer numbers to obtain an outstanding load-bearing capacity. It was found that as the thin wall thickness increased from 0.15 to 0.45 mm, the compressive modulus of the PM structures increased and the Poisson’s ratio decreased. As the layer number increased, the Poisson’s ratio of the PM structures increased rapidly and reaches a stable value ranging from 0.50 to 0.55. Simulation results of the stress distribution in the PM structures confirmed that stress concentrations exist at the junctions of the thin walls and weights. For validation, Ti–6Al–4V specimens were fabricated by selective laser melting (SLM), and the mechanical properties of these specimens (i.e., Poisson’s ratio and elastic modulus) were experimentally studied. Good consistency was achieved between the numerical and experimental results. 12Airflow patterns upwind of obstacles and their significance for echo dune formation:A field measurement of the effects of the windward slope angle显示文摘The velocities in front of five topographic obstacles with windward slope angles between 45° and 80° were measured using ultrasonic anemometers in the field at the southeastern margin of the Tengger Desert.The characteristics of the horizontal and vertical velocities indicated that the airflow pattern was significantly influenced by the obstacle's windward slope angle.The horizontal flow decelerated but the vertical flow accelerated upwind of the obstacles when the windward slope was less than 60°,but a reversed flow formed in front of steeper obstacles.The size of the area occupied by the reversed horizontal component increased with increasing windward slope,but the region of reversed vertical velocity became narrower and taller.Airflow turbulence was strengthened as the wind approached the obstacle,and low-frequency high-energy velocity fluctuations were observed upwind of the obstacle,and could affect the entrainment and saltation processes of sand particles.Turbulence intensities for both the horizontal and vertical components of the airflow increased with increasing windward slope and with decreasing distance from the obstacle.The deceleration and downward movement of airflow upwind of the obstacle would result in supersaturation of the air-sand flow,leading to deposition of moving sand,and these deposited grains would become the material basis for the formation of echo dunes.The reversed airflow would both determine the initial position of the echo dune and provide the necessary motive power to subsequently shape the echo dune.GuangQiang Qian ZhiBao Dong WanYin Luo ZhengCai Zhang AiGuo Zhao 2012Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,4:3
13Observation of a bi-critical point between antiferromagnetic and superconducting phases in pressurized single crystal Ca0.73La0.27FeAs2显示文摘One of the most strikingly universal features of the high-temperature superconductors is that the superconducting phase emerges in the close proximity of the antiferromagnetic phase, and the interplay between these two phases poses a long-standing challenge. It is commonly believed that, as the antiferromagnetic transition temperature is continuously suppressed to zero, there appears a quantum critical point, around which the existence of antiferromagnetic fluctuation is responsible for the development of the superconductivity. In contrast to this scenario, we report the observation of a bi-critical point identified at 2.88 GPa and 26.02 K in the pressurized high-quality single crystal Ca_(0.73)La_(0.27)FeAs_2 by complementary in-situ high pressure measurements. 14Wind tunnel simulation experiment and investigation on the electrification of sandstorms显示文摘Electric discharge phenomenon is often observed during the passage of sandstorms over desert regions and sometimes does great damage to human beings. Based on previous researches on the electrification of sandstorms by the scholars both at home and aboard,the authors conducted the simulation experiments on the electric fields of sandstorm-triggered creeping-saltating sand, suspending sand and watered suspending sand in the large-scale wind tunnel. 15Geological characteristics and key exploration technologies of continental shale oil sweet spots: A case study of Member 2 of Kongdian Formation in the Cangdong sag in the Huanghua depression, Bohai Bay Basin显示文摘Under the general trend of stepping-up oil and gas exploration and development in China,the unconventional oil and gas resources such as shale oil and gas have become an important alternative.Abundant continental shale oil resources are developed in Member 2 of Kongdian Formation(Ek2)of the Cangdong sag in the Huanghua depression of the Bohai Bay Basin which has complex structure,strong heterogeneity,and large buried depth,thus,the geological characteristic of shale oil accumulation and key exploration technologies are investigated on base of the system coring of 635.8 m,centimeter-level fine description and analysis of over ten thousand samples,therefore,the“four accurate”technologies have been developed,including the accurate selection of sweet spot areas,accurate drilling of sweet spot layers,accurate fracturing of sweet spot layers and accurate measure of fracture-rich sections.The results show that the continental shale strata in Member 2 of Kongdian Formation can be divided into three types:felsic shale,limy dolomitic shale and mixed shale.The Member 2 of Kongdian Formation is characterized by diverse mineral components,abundant laminae,good source rocks and medium thermal evolution degree,tight reservoir with rich micropore and microfractures,high oil saturation and brittle mineral content,indicating good prospect of shale oil exploration.Through sedimentological study,TOC and Ro evaluation,brittle mineral calculation,and seismic fusion inversion,a total of 126 km^(2) of Class I sweet spots in Member 2 of Kongdian Formation was delineated comprehensively,which guides horizontal well deployment(Well GD1701H and Well GD1702H).The drilling rate of sweet spot of these two horizontal wells is up to 96%by tracing thin layer through fine calibration,locating compartment through fine inversion,ensuring window entry through precise positioning,and tracking sweet spot through adjustment.The “one-excellent and five-highs”criterion is used to select perforation points to realize differential designs of fracturing intervals and clusters.Micro-seismic and potentiometry monitoring show that the artificial fractures formed by volumetric fracturing are 300e400 m long and 120 m high,and control a volume of about 0.07 km^(3).The maximum daily oil production of two horizontal wells is 48 t and 66 t respectively to realize the economic exploitation of shale oil reserves controlled by fractures.The shale oil exploration in Member 2 of Kongdian Formation shows that the continental shale oil has great potential of exploration and development,and the above technologies are critical and effective for shale oil efficient recovery.Xianzheng Zhao Xiugang Pu Fengming Jin Wenzhong Han Zhannan Shi Aibing Cai Aiguo Wang Quansheng Guan Wenya Jiang Wei Zhang 2019Petroleum Research2019,4,2:2
16The trend of sand flux and the meteorology elements changes in the near-surface layer of Tengger desert in the spring of 2006显示文摘Dust storm events,especially those associated with strong winds,are immediately dangerous,and have long-term harmful effects.During a dust storm event,dust in the near-surface atmospheric layer decreases visibility,and changes local meteorological parameters.In this paper,we analyzed levels of near-surface turbulence during and outside a dust storm event and found differences in the degree of turbulence,with wind speed increasing and amounts of windblown sand greatly increasing air turbu-lence during the dust storms compared with the corresponding values on a sunny day.In addition,the wind profile during the dust storm deviated from the normal profile and became more complex.In the near-surface atmospheric layer,sand and dust flux during the dust storm also differed from those on a sunny day.ZHANG ZhengCai DONG ZhiBao HAN LanYing ZHAO AiGuo 2008Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,21:2
17Development of a Soil Stabilizer for Road Subgrade Based on Original Phosphogypsum显示文摘The research used industrial by-products original phosphogypsum(PG)as the main raw material,slag(SG)and Portland cement(PC)as auxiliary materials,and the optimal additive amount was determined according to the compressive strength value of the sample.Comprehensively evaluate the water resistance and volume stability of the samples,and determine the best formula for new roadbed stabilized materials.The results showed that when the weight ratio of PG,slag and cement was OPG:SG:PC=6:3:1,and mixed with 5%micro silica fume(MSF)and 3‰hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose(HPMC),the sample’s comprehensive performance was the best,specifically,the sample’s compressive strength in 60 days reached 28.8 MPa,the softening coefficient reached 0.9,and the expansion rate was stable at about−0.2%.In addition,the mechanism of action of enhancers MSF and HPMC was analyzed according to use Vicat device,X-ray diffractometer and scanning electron microscope.The best formula SP3GH3 has the best curing effect on soil.The 28-day unconfined compressive strength(UCS)of the sample reached 2.4 MPa,the expansion rate was less than 0.09%,and the water stability coefficient was above 0.79,which was higher than that of the samples cured by traditional cement and lime during the same period.Zenghuan Gu Aiguo Fang Sudong Hua Qingzhou Zhao Lidong Sun Fan Xia Liying Qian Xiaojian Ren 2021Journal of Renewable Materials2021,9,2:2
18Comparative transcriptome analysis reveals differential gene expression in resistant and susceptible tobacco cultivars in response to infection by cucumber mosaic virus显示文摘Cucumber mosaic virus(CMV) is one of the most severe viral diseases transmitted by aphids infecting Solanum crops in China, causing great losses of crop yields and income in rural communities.The tobacco cultivars NC82 and Taiyan 8 are closely related but differ in resistance to CMV.NC82 is susceptible to infection and Taiyan 8 is resistant, but the mechanisms underlying this difference in resistance are not clear.In this study, we conducted RNA sequencing to analyze changes in gene expression induced in the leaves of Taiyan 8 and NC82 upon systemic infection with CMV, compared with gene expression in the leaves of mock-inoculated plants.Leaves were sampled at one, three, eight, and 15 days after infection.In total, 3443 and 747 differentially expressed genes were identified in Taiyan 8 and NC82, respectively.Gene ontology and pathway enrichment analyses revealed that the different responses to CMV infection between cultivars were based on microtubulebased processes, pentose and glucuronate interconversions, plant–pathogen interaction,and hormone signal transduction pathways.Genes encoding pathogenesis-related proteins, disease-resistance proteins, lipoxygenase, cellulose synthase, an auxin response factor, and an ethylene receptor showed different expression patterns.The differences in gene expression following CMV infection likely contributed to the different resistance levels of these two tobacco cultivars.The comprehensive transcriptome dataset described here,which includes candidate response genes, will serve as a resource for further studies of the molecular mechanisms associated with tobacco defense responses against CMV.Dan Liu Yazeng Cheng Min Gong Qiang Zhao Caihong Jiang Lirui Cheng Min Ren Yuanying Wang Aiguo Yang 2019The Crop Journal2019,7,3:2
