| 1 | Simulation of shock wave buffet and its suppression on an OAT15A supercritical airfoil by IDDES显示文摘In the present paper,extremely unsteady shock wave buffet induced by strong shock wave/boundary-layer interactions (SWBLI) on the upper surface of an OAT15A supercritical airfoil at Mach number of 0.73 and angle of attack of 3.5 degrees is first numerically simulated by IDDES,one of the most advanced RANS/LES hybrid methods.The results imply that conventional URANS methods are unable to effectively predict the buffet phenomenon on the wing surface;IDDES,which involves more flow physics,predicted buffet phenomenon.Some complex flow phenomena are predicted and demonstrated,such as periodical oscillations of shock wave in the streamwise direction,strong shear layer detached from the shock wave due to SWBLI and plenty of small scale structures broken down by the shear layer instability and in the wake.The root mean square (RMS) of fluctuating pressure coefficients and streamwise range of shock wave oscillation reasonably agree with experimental data.Then,two vortex generators (VG) both with an inclination angle of 30 degrees to the main flow directions are mounted in front of the shock wave region on the upper surface to suppress shock wave buffet.The results show that shock wave buffet can be significantly suppressed by VGs,the RMS level of pressure in the buffet region is effectively reduced,and averaged shock wave position is obviously pushed downstream,resulting in increased total lift. | HUANG JingBo XIAO ZhiXiang LIU Jian FU Song | 2012 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,2: | 24 |

| 3 | Defined tumor antigen-specific T cells potentiate personalized TCR-T cell therapy and prediction of immunotherapy response显示文摘Personalized immunotherapy targeting tumor-specific antigens(TSAs)could generate efficient and safe antitumor immune response without damaging normal tissues.Although neoantigen vaccines have shown therapeutic effect in clinic trials,precise prediction of neoantigens from tumor mutations is still challenging.The host antitumor immune response selects and activates T cells recognizing tumor antigens.Hence,T cells engineered with T-cell receptors(TCRs)from these naturally occurring tumor antigen-specific T(Tas)cells in a patient will target personal TSAs in his/her tumor.To establish such a personalized TCR-T cell therapy,we comprehensively characterized T cells in tumor and its adjacent tissues by single-cell mRNA sequencing(scRNA-seq),TCR sequencing(TCR-seq)and in vitro neoantigen stimulation.Compared to bystander T cells circulating among tissues,Tas cells were characterized by tumor enrichment,tumor-specific clonal expansion and neoantigen specificity.We found that CXCL13 is a unique marker for both CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)Tas cells.Importantly,TCR-T cells expressing TCRs from Tas cells showed significant therapeutic effects on autologous patient-derived xenograft(PDX)tumors.Intratumoral Tas cell levels measured by CXCL13 expression precisely predicted the response to immune checkpoint blockade,indicating a critical role of Tas cells in the antitumor immunity.We further identified CD200 and ENTPD1 as surface markers for CD4^(^(+))and CD8^(^(+))Tas cells respectively,which enabled the isolation of Tas cells from tumor by Fluorescence Activating Cell Sorter(FACS)sorting.Overall,our results suggest that TCR-T cells engineered with Tas TCRs are a promising agent for personalized immunotherapy,and intratumoral Tas cell levels determine the response to immunotherapy. | Jingjing He Xinxin Xiong Han Yang Dandan Li Xuefei Liu Shuo Li Shuangye Liao Siyu Chen Xizhi Wen Kuai Yu Lingyi Fu Xingjun Dong Kaiyu Zhu Xiaojun Xia Tiebang Kang Chaochao Bian Xiang Li Haiping Liu Peirong Ding Xiaoshi Zhang Zhenjiang Liu Wende Li Zhixiang Zuo Penghui Zhou | 2022 | Cell Research2022,32,6: | 10 |

| 6 | Growth and wood properties of a 38-year-old Populus simonii 3 P.nigra plantation established with different densities in semi-arid areas of northeastern China显示文摘To characterize the effects of plantation densities on the growth characteristics(diameter at breast level,tree height and volume)and the common wood properties,38-year-old Populus simonii 9 P.nigra clones planted with four levels of spacing(2 m 92 m,3 m 93 m,4 m 94 m,and 5 m 95 m)in a semi-arid area in northeastern China were examined.The results of ANOVA showed significant differences(P\0.01)for all the investigated growth traits and wood properties under different plantation densities,except for the chemical composition of wood.The repeatability and phenotypic variations of all the traits varied from 0.34 to 0.99 and from 13.45 to 59.65%,respectively.Except for wood density,which was significantly negatively correlated with the growth traits,a positive correlation was observed between the growth traits and all the other wood mechanical properties.However,most of the correlations between the growth traits and the chemical composition of the wood were not significant.The path analysis for the wood mechanical characteristics and the growth in the prediction of volume were significant and ranged from 0.18 to 0.72 for wood density and diameter at breast height,respectively,while those for the chemical composition of wood ranged from 0.001 to 0.336,which showed a low impact on the volume.The highest stand volume(610 m3)per hectare was observed with the 2 m 92 m spacing,which consequently provided a high total price and income,while a high individual volume growth per tree was observed with the 5 m 95 m spacing.The results suggested that for the poplar trees younger than 40 years in a semi-arid area in China,2 m 92 m spacing is suitable for obtaining a high volume per hectare,while 5 m 95 m spacing is best for obtaining a high individual volume per tree. | Ammar Khalil Mohamed Ahmed Zhixiang Fu Changjun Ding Luping Jiang Xidong Han Aiguo Yang Yinghui Ma Xiyang Zhao | 2020 | Journal of Forestry Research2020,31,2: | 6 |

| 8 | Analysis of the secondary instability of the incompressible flows over a swept wing显示文摘The crossflow instability of a three-dimensional (3-D) boundary layer is an important factor which affects the transition over a swept-wing.In this report,the primary instability of the incompressible flow over a swept wing is investigated by solving nonlinear parabolized stability equations (NPSE).The Floquet theory is applied to study the dependence of the secondary and high-frequency instabilities on curvature,Reynolds number and angle of swept (AOS).The computational results show that the curvature in the present case has no significant effect on the secondary instabilities.It is generally believed that the secondary instability growth rate increases with the magnitude of the nonlinear mode of crossflow vortex.But,at a certain state,when the Reynolds number is 3.2 million,we find that the secondary instability growth rate becomes smaller even when the magnitude of the nonlinear mode of the crossflow vortex is larger.The effect of the angle of swept at 35,45 and 55 degrees,respectively,is also studied in the framework of the secondary linear stability theory.Larger angles of swept tend to decrease the spanwise spacing of the crossflow vortices,which correspondingly helps the stimulation of 'z' mode. | XU GuoLiang XIAO ZhiXiang FU Song | 2011 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,4: | 5 |
| 9 | Connecting Calcium-Based Nanomaterials and Cancer:From Diagnosis to Therapy显示文摘As the indispensable second cellular messenger,calcium signaling is involved in the regulation of almost all physiological processes by activating specific target proteins.The importance of calcium ions(Ca^(2+))makes its“Janus nature”strictly regulated by its concentration.Abnormal regulation of calcium signals may cause some diseases;however,artificial regulation of calcium homeostasis in local lesions may also play a therapeutic role.“Calcium overload,”for example,is characterized by excessive enrichment of intracellular Ca^(2+),which irreversibly switches calcium signaling from“positive regulation”to“reverse destruction,”leading to cell death.However,this undesirable death could be defined as“calcicoptosis”to offer a novel approach for cancer treatment.Indeed,Ca^(2+)is involved in various cancer diagnostic and therapeutic events,including calcium overload-induced calcium homeostasis disorder,calcium channels dysregulation,mitochondrial dysfunction,calcium-associated immunoregulation,cell/vascular/tumor calcification,and calcification-mediated CT imaging.In paral-lel,the development of multifunctional calcium-based nanomaterials(e.g.,calcium phosphate,calcium carbonate,calcium peroxide,and hydroxyapatite)is becoming abundantly available.This review will highlight the latest insights of the calcium-based nanomaterials,explain their application,and provide novel perspective.Identifying and characterizing new patterns of calcium-dependent signaling and exploiting the disease element linkage offer additional translational opportunities for cancer theranostics. | Shuang Bai Yulu Lan Shiying Fu Hongwei Cheng Zhixiang Lu Gang Liu | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,9: | 2 |

[Methods] Through the construction of 16S rDNA cloning library of bacteria, the positive clone was carried out ARDRA analysis, and the phylogenetic tree was constructed. [Results] OUT (Operational Taxonomic Units) was classified according to sequences similarity of 97%, and the constructed 16S rDNA library of bacteria contained 13 OTUs, belonging to Alphaproteobacteria, Betaproteobacteria and Gammaproteobacteria, respectively. The dominant species was Betaproteobacteria, especially Burkholderia was the dominant bacterium.
