1Analysis and construction status of SG-Ⅱ 5PW laser facility显示文摘We present a recent progress of the SG-II 5 PW facility, which designed a multi-petawatt ultrashort pulse laser based on optical parametric chirped-pulse amplification(OPCPA). The prior two optical parametric amplifiers have been accomplished and chirped pulses with an energy of 49.7 J and a full-width-at-half-maximum(FWHM) spectrum bandwidth of 85 nm have been achieved. In the PW-scale optical parametric amplification(OPA), with the pump pulse that has an energy of 118 J from the second harmonic generation of the SG-II 7 th beam, the pump-to-signal conversion efficiency is up to 41.9%, which to the best of our knowledge is the highest among all of the reported values for OPCPA systems. The compressed pulse is higher than 37 J in 21 fs(1.76 PW), and the focal spot is ~10 μm after the closed-loop corrections by the adaptive optics. Limited by the repetition of the pump laser, the SG-II 5 PW facility operates one shot per hour. 2Comparative Assessment of Tundra Vegetation Changes Between North and Southwest Slopes of Changbai Mountains, China, in Response to Global Warming显示文摘Vegetation in high altitude areas normally exhibits the strongest response to global warming. We investigated the tundra vegetation on the Changbai Mountains and revealed the similarities and differences between the north and the southwest slopes of the Changbai Mountains in response to global warming. Our results were as follows: 1) The average temperatures in the growing season have increased from 1981 to 2015, the climate tendency rate was 0.38℃/10 yr, and there was no obvious change in precipitation observed. 2) The tundra vegetation of the Changbai Mountains has changed significantly over the last 30 years. Specifically, herbaceous plants have invaded into the tundra zone, and the proportion of herbaceous plants was larger than that of shrubs. Shrub tundra was transforming into shrub-grass tundra. 3) The tundra vegetation in the north and southwest slopes of the Changbai Mountains responded differently to global warming. The southwest slope showed a significantly higher degree of invasion from herbaceous plants and exhibited greater vegetation change than the north slope. 4) The species diversity of plant communities on the tundra zone of the north slope changed unimodally with altitude, while that on the tundra zone of the southwest slope decreased monotonously with altitude. Differences in the degree of invasion from herbaceous plants resulted in differences in species diversity patterns between the north and southwest slopes. 3A quantitative study of the scale and distribution of tight gas reservoirs in the Sulige gas field, Ordos Basin, northwest China显示文摘Gas and water distribution is discontinuous in tight gas reservoirs,and a quantitative understanding of the factors controlling the scale and distribution of effective reservoirs is important for natural gas exploration.We used geological and geophysical explanation results,dynamic and static well test data,interference well test and static pressure test to calculate the distribution and characteristics of tight gas reservoirs in the H_(8) Member of the Shihezi Formation,Sulige gas field,Ordos Basin,northwest China.Our evaluation system examines the scale,physical properties,gas-bearing properties,and other reservoir features,and results in classification of effective reservoirs into types Ⅰ,Ⅱ,and Ⅲ that differ greatly in size,porosity,permeability,and saturation.The average thickness,length,and width of type Ⅰ effective reservoirs are 2.89,808,and 598 m,respectively,and the porosity is>10.0%,permeability is>1010^(–3)µm^(2),and average gas saturation is>60%.Compared with conventional gas reservoirs,tight gas effective reservoirs are small-scale and have low gas saturation.Our results show that the scale of the sedimentary system controls the size of the dominant microfacies in which tight gas effective reservoirs form.The presence of different types of interbeds hinders the connectivity of effective sand body reservoirs.The gas source conditions and pore characteristics of the reservoirs control sand body gas filling and reservoir formation.The physical properties and structural nature of the reservoirs control gas–water separation and the gas contents of effective reservoirs.The results are beneficial for the understanding of gas reservoir distribution in the whole Ordos Basin and other similar basins worldwide.Chao LUO Ailin JIA Jianlin GUO Qing TIAN Junlei WANG Hun LIN Nanxin YIN Xuanbo GAO 2021Frontiers of Earth Science2021,15,2:2
4Milliampere He^2+ beam generator using a compact GHz ECRIS显示文摘Multi-charged helium ion beam He2+ is useful for helium accelerator to obtain a higher energy with lower cost and for deuterium accelerator to avoid neutron activation during machine commissioning.An attempt to generate milliampere multi-charged helium He2+ion beam with a 2.45 GHz electron cyclotron resonance ion source(ECRIS) was tested recently.A design using a specfic permanent magnet 2.45 GHz ECRIS(PMECRIS) source(ERCIS) is reported and the He2+beam production ability is described.With this source,we produced a total helium beam of 40 mA at 40 kV with 180 W of net microwave power and a gas flow of less than 0.5 sccm.At steady state the He2+beam intensity is 4.4 mA,that being the fraction of multi-charged helium ion beam is at approximately 11%.REN HaiTao PENG ShiXiang XU Yuan ZHAO Jie CHEN Jia ZHANG Tao ZHANG AiLin GUO ZhiYu CHEN JiaEr 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,10:2

6Systematic study of spatiotemporal influences on temporal contrast in the focal region in large-aperture broadband ultrashort petawatt lasers显示文摘Temporal contrast is one of the crucial physical determinants which guarantee the successful performance of laser–matter interaction experiments. We generally reviewed the influences on the temporal contrast in three categories of noises based on the requirement by the physical mechanisms. The spatiotemporal influences on temporal contrast at the focal region of the chromatic aberration and propagation time difference introduced by large-aperture broadband spatial filters, which were spatiotemporally coupled with compression and focusing, were calculated and discussed with a practical case in SG-Ⅱ5 PW ultrashort petawatt laser. 8Characteristics and development model of karst reservoirs in the fourth member of Sinian Dengying Formation in central Sichuan Basin,SW China显示文摘The reservoir space,types and distribution characteristics of karst carbonate gas reservoirs in the fourth member of Sinian Dengying Formation(Deng 4 Member)in central Sichuan Basin are analyzed based on the drilling,logging and seismic data.A development model of karst reservoirs is constructed to support the high-efficiency development of gas pools.The research shows that the reservoirs in Deng 4 Member have mainly small-scale karst vugs and fractures as storage space,and can be divided into three types,fracture-vug,pore-vug and pore types.The development patterns of the karst reservoirs are determined.On the plane,the karst layers increase from 65 m to 170 m in thickness from the karst platform to the karst slope,and the high-quality reservoirs increase from 25.0 m to 42.2 m in thickness;vertically,the reservoirs at the top of Deng 4 Member appear in multiple layers,and show along-bedding and along fracture dissolution characteristics.The reservoirs at the bottom are characterized by the dissolution parallel to the water level during the karstification period,and have 3-5 large-scale fracture-cave systems.Based on the reservoir development characteristics and the genetic mechanism,three types of reservoir development models of karst reservoir are established,i.e.,bed-dissolved body,fracture-dissolved body and paleohorizon-dissolved body.The construction of karst reservoir development models and seismic response characteristics of the three types of reservoirs can provide parameter for well placement and trajectory design,and substantially improve productivity and development indices of individual wells and gas reservoirs.The designed production capacity of the gas reservoir has enhanced from the initial 3.6 billion to 6 billion cubic meters,making the profit of the reservoir development increase noticeably.YAN Haijun HE Dongbo JIA Ailin LI Zhiping GUO Jianlin PENG Xian MENG Fankun LI Xinyu ZHU Zhanmei DENG Hui XIA Qinyu ZHENG Guoqiang YANG Shan SHI Xiaomin 2022Petroleum Exploration and Development2022,49,4:1
9Technical strategies for effective development and gas recovery enhancement of a large tight gas field: A case study of Sulige gas field, Ordos Basin, NW China显示文摘Based on the analysis of influencing factors of tight gas recovery and reservoir geological characteristics, the types of remaining tight gas reserves in the Sulige gas field are summarized from the perspective of residual gas genesis to estimate residual gas reserves of different types and provide corresponding technical strategies for enhancing gas recovery. The residual gas reserves in the Sulige gas field can be divided into four types: well pattern uncontrollable, horizontal well missing, imperfect perforation, blocking zone in composite sandbodies. Among them, the uncontrolled remaining gas of well pattern and blocking zone in composite sandbodies are the main body for tapping potential and improving recovery factor, and well pattern infilling adjustment is the main means. Taking into account reservoir geological characteristics, production dynamic response and economic benefit requirements, four methods for infilling vertical well pattern, i.e., quantitative geological model method, dynamic controlled range of gas well method, production interference method and economic and technical index evaluation method, as well as a design method of combined vertical well pattern with horizontal well pattern are established. Under certain economic and technological conditions, the reasonable well pattern density of enrichment zone of gas field is proved to be 4 wells per square kilometers, which can increase the recovery rate of the gas field from 32% to about 50%. Meanwhile, five matching techniques for enhancing gas recovery aimed at interlayer undeveloped residual gas have been formed, including tapping potential of old wells, technological technology optimizing of new wells, rational production system optimizing, drainage and gas producing, and reducing waste production, which could increase the recovery rate for 5% based on well pattern infilling. 10Multiple charge ion beam generation with a 2.45 GHz electron cyclotron resonance ion source显示文摘Multiple charge ions (MCIs) are necessary for increasing the output energy of particles in accelerators. In general, MCI beams are largely produced by electron beam ion source (EBIS) [1], laser ion source (LIS) [2], or high-frequency (mostly >5 GHz) electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) ion source [3]. Among these, only ECR ion source can operate in the continuous wave (CW) mode, while EBIS and LIS only support pulses. 11Inter-glacial isolation caused divergence of cold-adapted species:the case of the snow partridge显示文摘Deciphering the role of climatic oscillations in species divergence helps us understand the mechanisms that shape global biodiversity.The coldadapted species may have expanded their distribution with the development of glaciers during glacial period.With the retreat of glaciers,these species were discontinuously distributed in the high-altitude mountains and isolated by geographical barriers.However,the study that focuses on the speciation process of cold-adapted species is scant.To fill this gap,we combined population genetic data and ecological niche models(ENMs)to explore divergence process of snow partridge(Lerwa lerwa).Lerwa lerwa is a cold-adapted bird that is distributed from 4,000 to 5,500 m.We found 2 genetic populations within L.lerwa,and they diverged from each other at about 0.40–0.44 million years ago(inter-glacial period after Zhongliangan glaciation).The ENMs suggested that L.lerwa expanded to the low elevations of the Himalayas and Hengduan mountains during glacial period,whereas it contracted to the high elevations,southern of Himalayas,and Hengduan mountains during inter-glacial periods.Effective population size trajectory also suggested that L.lerwa expanded its population size during the glacial period.Consistent with our expectation,the results support that inter-glacial isolation contributed to the divergence of cold-adapted L.lerwa on Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau.This study deepens our understanding of how climatic oscillations have driven divergence process of cold-adapted Phasianidae species distributed on mountains.Hongyan Yao Yanan Zhang Zhen Wang Gaoming Liu Quan Ran Zhengwang Zhang Keji Guo Ailin Yang Nan Wang Pengcheng Wang 2022Current Zoology2022,68,4:0
12Independent and continuous third-order dispersion compensation using a pair of prisms显示文摘The dispersion of a pair of prisms is analyzed by means of a ray-tracing method operating at other than tip-to-tip propagation of the prisms, taking into consideration the limited spectral bandwidth. The variations of the group delay dispersion and the third-order dispersion for a pair of prisms are calculated with respect to the incident position and the separation between the prisms. The pair of prisms can provide a wide range of independent and continuous third-order dispersion compensation. The effect of residual third-order dispersion on the pulse contrast ratio and pulse duration is also calculated. The residual third-order dispersion not only worsens the pulse contrast ratio, but also increases the pulse duration to the hundreds of femtosecond range for a tens of femtosecond pulse, even when the residual thirdorder dispersion is small. 13Plasma parameter diagnosis using hydrogen emission spectra of a quartz-chamber 2.45 GHz ECRIS at Peking University显示文摘A quartz-chamber 2.45 GHz electron cyclotron resonance ion source(ECRIS) was designed for diagnostic purposes at Peking University [Patent Number: ZL 201110026605.4]. This ion source can produce a maximum 84 m A hydrogen ion beam at 50 k V with a duty factor of 10%. The root-mean-square(RMS) emittance of this beam is less than 0.12π mm mrad. In our initial work,the electron temperature and electron density inside the plasma chamber had been measured with the line intensity ratio of noble gases. Based on these results, the atomic and molecular emission spectra of hydrogen were applied to determine the dissociation degree of hydrogen and the vibrational temperature of hydrogen molecules in the ground state, respectively. Measurements were performed at gas pressures from 4×10^(-4) to 1×10^(-3) Pa and at input peak RF power ranging from 1000 to 1800 W. The dissociation degree of hydrogen in the range of 0.5%-10% and the vibrational temperature of hydrogen molecules in the ground state in the range of 3500-8500 K were obtained. 14实时荧光定量PCR检测原发性肝癌中PRL-2基因的表达(英文)显示文摘Objective:To quantitatively detect the expression level of PRL-2 in primary hepatocellular carcinoma using real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR.Methods:Total RNA isolated from human HCC and liver tissue adjacent to the tumor was reversely transcribed into cDNA.Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(Q-PCR) method was used to analyze the expres-sion level of PRL-2 gene.Results:The Q-PCR method was performed successfully to precisely detect RNA level.PRL-2 was expressed in all portal vein tumor thrombosis(PVTT) and HCC,but only in some paratumor tissue.The highest expression level of PRL-2 gene was recorded in PVTT;meanwhile expression level of PRL-2 was higher than that in paratumor liver tis-sues and in HCC(P < 0.01),and it was higher in HCC than that in paratumor liver tissues.Conclusion:The Q-PCR may be the most precise method to quantitatively detect RNA level and can be used in gene expression changes.The PRL-2 gene has higher expression in PVTT than that in HCC and in paratumor liver tissue cells,indicating that it plays an important role in the development and metastasis of the HCC.Chao Cheng Amos Ela Bella Ailin Guo Guoyong Wu Weikang Wu 2009The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2009,8,4:0
