1Naive Echo-State-Network Based Services Awareness Algorithm of Software Defined Optical Networks显示文摘As internet services newly emerge with diversity and complexity, great challenges and demands are presented to the Open Flow controlled software defined optical networks(SDON) to achieve better match between services and SDON. With this aim, this paper proposes a naive Echo-State-Network(Naive-ESN) based services awareness algorithm of the software defined optical network, where the naive ESN model adopts the ring topology structure and generates the probability output result to determine the Qo S policy of SDON. Moreover, the Naive-ESN engine is also designed in controller node of SDON to perform services awareness by obtaining service traffic features from data plan, together with some necessary extension of the Open Flow protocol. 2Simplified Echo-State-Network Based Services Awareness for High-Speed Passive Optical Network显示文摘With the challenge from services diversity grows greatly,the service-oriented supporting ability is required to current high-speed passive optical network(PON) .Aimed to enhance the quality of service(Qo S) brought by diversified-services,this paper proposes an Simplified Echo State Network(SESN) Based Services Awareness scheme in High-Speed PON(Passive Optical Network) .In this proposed scheme,the ring topology is adopted in the reservoir of SESN to reduce the complexity of original Echo State Network,and system dynamics equation is introduced to keep the accuracy of SESN.According to the network architecture of 10G-EPON,a SESN Master is running in the OLT and a number of SESN Agents work in ONUs.The SESN Master plays the main function of service-awareness from the total view of various kinds services in 10G-EPON system,by fully SESN training.Then,the reservoir information of well-trained SESN in OLT will be broadcasted to all ONUs and those SESN Agents working in ONUs are allowed to conducts independent service-awareness function.Thus,resources allocation and transport policy are both determined just only in ONUs.Simulation results show that the proposed mechanism is able to better supporting ability for multiple services.Huifeng Bai Dongshan Wang Yanbin Song 2017China Communications2017,14,6:1
3Naive-LSTM based services awareness of edge computing elastic optical networks显示文摘Great challenges and demands are presented by increasing edge computing services for current elastic optical networks(EONs)to deal with serious diversity and complexity of these services.To improve the match degree between edge computing and optical network,the services awareness function is necessary for EON.This article proposes a Naive long short-term memory(Naive-LSTM)based services awareness strategy of the EON,where the Naive-LSTM model makes full use of the most simplified structure and conducts discretization of the LSTM model.Moreover,the proposed algorithm can generate the probability output result to determine the quality of service(Qo S)policy of EONs.After well learning operation,these Naive-LSTM classification agents in edge nodes of EONs are able to perform services awareness by obtaining data traffic characteristics from services traffics.Test results show that the proposed approach is feasible and efficient to improve edge computing ability of EONs.HUO Chao BAI Huifeng YIN Zhibin YAN Bo 2023Optoelectronics Letters2023,19,5:0
4Origin and evolution of the main starch biosynthetic enzymes显示文摘Starch,a semi-crystalline energy storage form primarily found in plant plastids plays a crucial role in various food or no-food applications.Despite the starch biosynthetic pathway’s main enzymes have been characterized,their origin and evolution remained a subject of debate.In this study,we conducted the comprehensive phylogenetic and structural analysis of three types of starch biosynthetic enzymes:starch synthase(SS),starch branching enzyme(SBE)and isoamylase-type debranching enzyme(ISA)from 51,151 annotated genomes.Our findings provide valuable insights into the possible scenario for the origin and evolution of the starch biosynthetic pathway.Initially,the ancestor of SBE can be traced back to an unidentified bacterium that existed before the formation of the last eukaryotic common ancestor(LECA)via horizontal gene transfer(HGT).This transfer event likely provided the eukaryote ancestor with the ability to synthesize glycogen.Furthermore,during the emergence of Archaeplastida,one clade of SS was transferred from Deltaproteobacteria by HGT,while ISA and the other clade of SS originated from Chlamydiae through endosymbiosis gene transfer(EGT).Both these transfer events collectively contributed to the establishment of the original starch biosynthetic pathway.Subsequently,after the divergence of Viridiplantae from Rhodophyta,all three enzymes underwent multiple duplications and N-terminus extension domain modifications,resulting in the formation of functionally specialized isoforms and ultimately leading to the complete starch biosynthetic pathway.By shedding light on the evolutionary origins of key enzymes involved in the starch biosynthetic pathway,this study provides important insights into the evolutionary events of plants.Hong Chang Jie Bai Hejian Zhang Rong Huang Huanyu Chu Qian Wang Hao Liu Jian Cheng Huifeng Jiang 2023Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology2023,8,3:0

6Traffic-load prediction based on echo state network improved by Bayesian theory in 10G-EPON显示文摘With the evolution of 10-gigabit Ethernet passive optical network(10G-EPON), the traffic-load prediction ability is necessary to support soaring services traffic with diversified characteristics and requirements. As a strong candidate to be used for the traffic-load prediction, the echo state network(ESN) may face the pseudo-regression problem and need to be improved for the better traffic-load prediction. To overcome this problem, this paper proposes an ESN based traffic-load prediction scheme using Bayesian theory in 10G-EPON for future-proof. In this proposed approach, Bayesian probability is introduced into the ESN and is used to improve the performance of ESN. According to the architecture between optical line terminal(OLT) and optical network units(ONU) in 10G-EPON, an ESN based on the Bayesian theory(B-ESN) is realized and the B-ESN based traffic load prediction scheme is also developed in OLT. 7Hierarchy echo state network based service-awareness in 10G-EPON显示文摘Aimed to enhance the supporting ability for diversified services, this paper proposes a hierarchy echo state network(HESE) based service-awareness(SA)(HESN-SA) mechanism in 10 Gbit/s Ethernet passive optical network(10G-EPON). In this HESN-SA, hierarchy architecture is adopted to realize echo state network(ESN) classification based SA. According to the network architecture of 10G-EPON, the parent-ESN(p-ESN) module works in the optical line terminal(OLT), while the sub-ESN(s-ESN) module is embedded in optical network units(ONUs). Thus, the p-ESN plays the main function of SA with a total view of this system, and s-ESN in each ONU conducts the SA function under the control of p-ESN. Thus, resources allocation and transport policy are both determined by the proposed mechanism through cooperation between OLT and ONUs. 8Physical layer impairments tolerance based lightpath provision in software defined optical network显示文摘As all-optical networks grow with ever increasing ultra-high speed,the communication quality suffers seriously from physical layer impairments( PLIs). The same problem still exists in software defined optical network( SDON) controlled by OpenFlow. Aimed to solve this problem,a PLIs tolerance based lightpath provision scheme is proposed for OpenFlow controlled optical networks. This proposed approach not only takes the OSNR model to represent those linear PLIs factors,but also introduces those nonlinear factors into the OSNR model. Thus,the proposed scheme is able to cover most PLIs factors of each optical link and conduct optical lightpath provison with better communication quality. Moreover,PLIs tolerance model is also set up and considered in this work with some necessary extension to OpenFlow protocols to achieve better compatibility between physical layer impairments factors and various services connections.
