| 1 | Study of apoptosis in human liver cancers显示文摘AIM: To investigate the action of apoptosis in occurrence ofliver cacinornas in vivo and the biological effect of Solanumlyratum Thumb on BEL-7404 cell line inducing apoptosis invitro.METHODS: The apoptosis in the liver carcinoma wasdetected with terminal deoxynucl neotidyl transferasemediated dUTP nick end labelling (TUNEL); the cancer cellscultured in DMED medium were treated with extract ofSolanum lyratum Thumb and observed under microscope,and their DNA was assayed by gel electrophoresis.RESULTS: In vivo apoptotic cells in the cancer adjacenttissues inceased; in vitro treatment of liver cancers withextract of Solanum lyratum Thumb could induce the cells tomanifest a typical apoptotic morphology. Their DNA wasfractured and a characteristic ladder pattem could be foundusing electrophoresis.CONCLUSION: In vivo the apoptosis of carcinomas waslower; maybe the cells divided quickly and then the cancersoccurred. | 3 | Inhibitors of 5-lipoxygenase inhibit expression of intercellular adhesion molecule-1 in human melanoma cells显示文摘AIM: To study the effect of 5-lipoxygenase inhibitors on the expression of intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) inmelanoma cells. METHODS: ICAM-1 protein of human melanoma cell a375 was detected by enzyme-linkedimmunosorbent, flow cytometry and Western blot analysis. Level of ICAM-1 mRNA in a375 was evaluated byNorthern blot analysis. Adhesion of a375 to endothelial cell EC304 was analyzed by isotopic tracing. RESULTS:5-Lipoxygenase inhibitors nordihydroguaiaretic acid, AA861 and MK886, could suppress the expression of ICAM-1protein as well as of its mRNA in a375 cells and reduce the adhesion of a375 to EC304. | 5 | Effects of esculentoside A on production of interleukin-1, 2, and prostaglandin E_2显示文摘AIM: To investigate the influence of esculentoside A (EsA) on immunological function and its mechanism of anti- inflammation. METHODS: Interleukin-1 production was measured by thymocyte co-stimulating assay; the radio- activity of [3H]arachidonic acid (AA) was used to evaluate the release of AA; prostaglandin E2 production was measured with radioimmunoassay (RIA); IL-2 and IFN-γ were detected by ELISA method. RESULTS: EsA (3-12 μmol/L)could potently inhibit the production of IL-1 and PGE2 from both silent and LPS induced macrophages. EsA had no significant effect on the release of AA from murine macrophages. EsA could inhibit the production of IL-2 from murine lymphocytes induced by ConA, but not affect the production from silent lymphocytes. EsA showed no effect on the production of IFN-γ from both silent and ConA induced lymphocytes. | 9 | HA Gene Variation Analysis of H9N2 Sub-type Avian Influenza Virus from Three Strains in Different Times显示文摘HA Gene of H9N2 sub-type avian influenza virus from three strains in different times was amplified, purified and then sequenced. The results of its sequence analysis showed that the whole length of the amplified HA Gene was 1 683 bp, encoding 560 amino acids. The amino acid sequence of three virulent strains at cleavage site was R-S-S-R, which was low-pathogenicity strain. According to the amino acid sequence of the isolated strains, there were 7 potential glycosylation sites, and the receptor-binding site was the specific sequence of the avian-derived influenza virus. Amino acids on the left edge of receptor-binding site were all NGQQG, while amino acids on the right edge of receptor-binding site were GTSKA. From the comparative sequence analysis of HA Gene from some referenced strains, the results indicated that nucleotide and amino acid homology between isolated strains and referenced strains was higher. | 13 | The information entropy of a static dilaton black hole显示文摘In accordance with holographic principle, by calculating the statistical entropy of the quantum field just at the event horizon of the Garfinkle-Horowitz-Strominger dilaton black hole, the information entropy of the black hole was investigated and the Bekenstein-Hawking formula was obtained. The results show that black hole entropy is identical with the statistical entropy of the quantum field at the horizon. Using the generalized uncertainty relation, the divergence of the state density near the event horizon in usual quantum field theory was removed, and the cutoffs and the little mass approximation in the heat gas method of black hole entropy were avoided. Thus, the microstates of the massive scalar field just at the event horizon of the static dilaton black hole were studied directly and a description on holograph principle was presented. By using residue theorem, the integral difficulty in the calculation was overcome, and the information entropy and the Bekenstein-Hawking formula were obtained quantitatively. Compared with the black hole entropy from the loop quantum gravity, the consistency of methods and results of calculating black hole entropy in non-commutative quantum field theory and loop quantum gravity was investigated. The films were characterized by cyclic voltammetry, optical spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, IR and X-ray diffractometer. Electrochemical lithium insertion/extraction showed that the porous structure of sol-gel (1 - x)V2O5-xTiO2 thin films exhibited good recharge ability of Li+/e- insertion/extraction process. For a 220 nm thick (1 - x)V2O5-xTiO2 film with 90% V2O5, the capacity of charge exchange reached 9 mC/cm2. In both Li+ intercalated and free states, the films were highly transparent to visible light. | 20 | Conventional Analysis on a Heavy or Torrential Rain Weather Process显示文摘[Objective] The research aimed to analyze a turning weather process in Binzhou City of Shandong Province in midsummer of 2010.[Method] Started from the short-term forecast ideas,the formation reason of heavy or torrential rain and local heavy rainstorm in Binzhou City during 4-5 August,2010 was analyzed from the circulation situation,physical quantity field,radar echo and so on.[Result] The westerly trough and cold air were the trigger mechanisms of precipitation.The warm wet air flow at the edge of subtropical high and the high-altitude low trough were the main systems of precipitation.It was the typical precipitation process that the northwest of subtropical high overlapped with the westerly trough.In the prior period,the high temperature continued.The cold air at 500 hPa made the convection strengthen.It was the main reason that the local precipitation was strong.In the forecast of rainstorm,the specific humidity,K index and SI index were the good physical quantities and reference indexes.In the formation process of rainstorm,K index had the increasing process.When the rainstorm finished,or the rain intensity weakened,K index decreased obviously.SI index indicated the development of convective precipitation.The radar echo analysis found that the mesocyclone appeared in the process for a short time.For it weakened quickly and disappeared in the shift process,the strong precipitation and gale were formed in the west of Binzou,but the hail wasn't generated.[Conclusion] The research provided the experience for the forecast of such weather in future. | GU Zhen-hai,ZHANG Qi-zhong,MO Yao Binzhou Meteorological Bureau in Shandong Province,Binzhou 256612,China | 2011 | Meteorological and Environmental Research2011，2，5： | 0 |
