| 1 | Impact of Asarum Essential Oils on Physiological and Biochemical Indicators of Two Agricultural Pests显示文摘[Objective]The paper was to study the effects of asarum essential oils on physiological and biochemical indices of two agricultural pests. [Method]Asarum essential oils were extracted by different methods,and their effects on physiological and biochemical indices related to the structure of body wall( chitin and phenoloxidase),the physiological and biochemical indices acting on the nervous system( Acetylcholinesterase),and the physiological and biochemical indices acting on the digestive system( protease,amylase and lipase) of Ostrinia furnacalis and Mythimna seperata were studied. [Result]Asarum essential oils had no effect no chitin content of body wall under the experimental concentration,and had no inhibitory effect but activated effect on polyphenol oxidase activity. Asarum essential oils could act on the nervous system of insect,and had strong inhibitory effect against acetylcholinesterase activity of O. furnacalis larvae,with inhibition rates of 24. 86%- 38. 79%. Asarum essential oils showed a significant activated effect on pepsin activity in midgut,but the activated amplitude became smaller with the prolongation of treatment time. Asarum essential oils showed a significant inhibitory effect on activities of amylase and lipase,indicating that it could play an insecticidal effect by inhibiting activity of amylase and lipase,and it could act on digestive system of insect. | 4 | Reservoir controlling differences between consequent faults and antithetic faults in slope area outside of source: A case study of the south-central Wenan slope of Jizhong Depression, Bohai Bay Basin, East China显示文摘The control effects of different occurrence faults on oil and gas accumulation and distribution in the outer slope area of oil and gas reservoirs were studied taking the south-central Wen’an slope of the Jizhong depression in the Bohai Bay Basin as an example.Based on 3D seismic data and the distribution of oil and water,the controlling differences between consequent fault and antithetic fault were analyzed and compared from the formation and evolution rule of faults and the formation mechanism of fault traps,including development positions of the consequent fault traps and antithetic fault traps,oil and gas distribution horizon adjusted by fault and formation period of fault traps.The differences between consequent faults and antithetic faults in controlling reservoirs have three main aspects:(1)Consequent fault traps and antithetic fault traps are in different positions,the consequent fault traps are at the segmented growing point in the hanging wall of'hard-linkage'faults,while the antithetic fault traps are developed in the position with the largest throw in the footwall because of tilting action;(2)The two kinds of faults result in different oil and gas distribution vertically,oil and gas adjusted by consequent faults is distributed in a single layer or multi-layers,while oil and gas adjusted by antithetic faults occur in single layers;(3)The two kinds of fault traps are formed in different periods,the consequent fault traps are formed at the time when the related faults enter the stage of'hard-linkage',while the antithetic fault traps are formed at the beginning of the fault active period. | LIU Junqiao WANG Haixue LYU Yanfang SUN Tongwen ZHANG Mengdi HE Wei SUN Yonghe ZHANG Tong WANG Chao CAO Lanzhu | 2018 | Petroleum Exploration and Development2018,45,1: | 1 |
| 5 | CENPA-driven STMN1 Transcription Inhibits Ferroptosis in Hepatocellular Carcinoma显示文摘Background and Aims:The growing knowledge of ferroptosis has suggested the regulatory role of ferroptosis in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),but the pertinent molecular mechanisms remain unclear.Herein,this study investigated the mechanistic basis of ferroptosis-related genes(ferrGenes)in the growth of HCC.Methods:Differentially expressed human ferrGenes and tumor-related transcription factors(TFs)were obtained from the The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)dataset and the GTEx dataset.Spearman method-based correlation analysis were conducted to construct TF-ferrGene coexpression regulatory network.Key genes associated with prognosis were singled out with Lasso regression and multivariate Cox analysis to construct the prognostic risk model.Then the accuracy and independent prognostic ability of the model were evaluated.Expression of CENPA and STMN1 was determined in clinical HCC tissues and HCC cells,and their binding was analyzed with dual-luciferase and chromatin immunoprecipitation(ChIP)assays.Furthermore,ectopic expression and knockdown assays were performed in HCC cells to assess the effect of CENPA and STMN1 on ferroptosis and malignant phenotypes.Results:The prognostic risk model constructed based on the eight TF-ferrGene regulatory network-related genes accurately predicted the prognosis of HCC patients.It was strongly related to the clinical characteristics of HCC patients.Moreover,CENPA/STMN1 might be a key TF-ferrGene regulatory network in ferroptosis of HCC.CENPA and STMN1 were overexpressed in HCC tissues and cells.Additionally,CENPA facilitated STMN1 transcription by binding to STMN1 promoter,thus facilitating the malignant phenotypes and suppressing the ferroptosis of HCC cells.Conclusions:Taken together,CENPA curbs the ferroptosis of HCC cells by upregulating STMN1 transcription,thereby promoting HCC growth. | Daomiao Liang Lanzhu Luo Jiang Wang Tongyu Liu Chao Guo | 2023 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2023,11,5: | 1 |

| 7 | Potential effects of elevated carbon dioxide on leaf-feeding forest insects显示文摘The elevated concentration of atmospheric CO_(2)may result in a decline of leaf nutritional quality(especially N)and an increase in some kinds of defensive secondary components(such as phenolics).The changes in the phytochemistry of trees,combined with the effect of elevated CO_(2)per se,have a potential negative influence on insect herbivores.Here,we review the effect of elevated CO_(2)on the performance of leaf-feeding forest insects at individual-level and commun-ity-level.The elevated CO_(2)per se have little influence on the metabolism of insects.Over half of the tree-insect experimental systems show that the performance of individual insect become poorer under high-CO_(2)grown trees;but the others show that the insects have just little or no response to the treatments.The direction and magnitude of the changes in the performance of insects could be mediated by various factors.The effects of treatment are strongly species-dependent.The mag-nitude of changes in the phytochemistry,the sensitivity and adaptive capacity of insects to the poorer leaf quality,the differences in plant growth conditions and experimental methods,and the mediated effects of other environmental factors(such as soil nutrient availability,light,temperature,O_(3))were all closely related to the final performance of insects.However,the larvae’s consumption usually increased under enriched CO_(2)treatment,which was widely thought to be a compens-atory response to poorer plant quality.The experiments on forest community-level found identically a reduction in herbivory,which was contrary to the results from small-scale experiments.The changes in insect popu-lation and the actual response of consumption by leaf-feeding forest insects under CO_(2)enrichment remain unclear,and more field-based experiments need to be conducted. | Xiaowei WANG Lanzhu JI Guiqing WANG Yan LIU | 2008 | Frontiers in Biology2008,3,1: | 0 |
| 8 | POSTOPERATIVE EVALUATION OF TENSION-FREE VAGINAL TAPE PROCEDURE显示文摘Objective To study the outcome of tension-free vaginal tape (TVT) for the treatment of stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in women with cystocele. Methods Forty-two patients with SUI confirmed by urodynamics underwent the TVT procedure under local anesthesia. A prolapse repair was done simultaneously. Results Mean TVT operation time was 26.29 minutes. Mean blood loss was 29.86 mL. Eighty-eight percent of the patients were able to micturate spontaneously within 12 hours and residual urine was less than 100 mL. And 12% of the patients had to use indwelling catheter for 3-11 days. Average hospital stay was 2.91 days. Eighty-eight percent of patients were discharged within 2 days. All patients were followed up (an average of 10.26 months). According to subjective and objective assessment of the outcome, 39 patients (93%) were cured, another 3 patients (7%) were significantly improved and none was failed. There were no major complications such as bladder injury occurred.
