Status and development of high-power laser facilities at the NLHPLP显示文摘In this paper, we review the status of the multifunctional experimental platform at the National Laboratory of High Power Laser and Physics(NLHPLP). The platform, including the SG-II laser facility, SG-II 9th beam, SG-II upgrade(SG-II UP) facility, and SG-II 5 PW facility, is operational and available for interested scientists studying inertial confinement fusion(ICF) and a broad range of high-energy-density physics. These facilities can provide important experimental capabilities by combining different pulse widths of nanosecond, picosecond, and femtosecond scales. In addition, the SG-II UP facility, consisting of a single petawatt system and an eight-beam nanosecond system, is introduced including several laser technologies that have been developed to ensure the performance of the facility. Recent developments of the SG-II 5 PW facility are also presented.Jianqiang Zhu Jian Zhu Xuechun Li Baoqiang Zhu Weixin Ma Xingqiang Lu Wei Fan Zhigang Liu Shenlei Zhou Guang Xu Guowen Zhang Xinglong Xie Lin Yang Jiangfeng Wang Xiaoping Ouyang Li Wang Dawei Li Pengqian Yang Quantang Fan Mingying Sun Chong Liu Dean Liu Yanli Zhang Hua Tao Meizhi Sun Ping Zhu Bingyan Wang Zhaoyang Jiao Lei Ren Daizhong Liu Xiang Jiao Hongbiao Huang Zunqi Lin 2018High Power Laser Science and Engineering2018,6,4:8
Pressure-induced robust emission in a zero-dimensional hybrid metal halide (C_(9)NH_(20))_(6)Pb_(3)Br_(12)显示文摘Zero-dimensional(0D)hybrid metal halides are under intensive investigation owing to their unique physical properties, such as the broadband emission from highly localized excitons that is promising for white-emitting lighting. However, fundamental understanding of emission variations and structure–property relationships is still limited. Here,by using pressure processing,we obtain robust exciton emission in 0D(C_(9)NH_(20))_(6)Pb_(3)Br_(12) at room temperature that can survive to 80 GPa,the recorded highest value among all the hybrid metal halides. In situ experimental characterization and first-principles calculations reveal that the pressure-induced emission is mainly caused by the largely suppressed phonon-assisted nonradiative pathway.Lattice compression leads to phonon hardening, which considerably weakens the exciton–phonon interaction and thus enhances the emission. The robust emission is attributed to the unique structure of separated spring-like[Pb_(3)Br_(12)]^(6−)trimers,which leads to the outstanding stability of the optically active inorganic units. Our findings not only reveal abnormally robust emission in a 0D metal halide, but also provide new insight into the design and optimization of local structures of trimers and oligomers in lowdimensional hybrid materials.Mengting Chen Songhao Guo Kejun Bu Sujin Lee Hui Luo Yiming Wang Bingyan Liu Zhipeng Yan Hongliang Dong Wenge Yang Biwu Ma Xujie Lü 2021Matter and Radiation at Extremes2021,6,5:1
Study on release rate of latent heat in Czochralski silicon growth显示文摘The pulling rate in czochralski silicon (CZSi) growth is important for reducing the cost of solar cell. In this paper, double-heater, heat shield and composite argon duct system were introduced in the Ф450 mm hot zone of a Czochralski furnace. The pulling rate under different thermal system was recorded in experiments. Argon flow and temperature fields were simulated by finite element method(FEM). Experimental results and numerical simulation indicate that double-heater and composite argon duct system can enhance obviously the release rate of latent heat. In Φ 200 mm Czochralski silicon (CZSi) growth, average pulling rate can increase from 0.6 mm·min-1 in the conventional hot zone to 0.8 mm·min-1 in the modified hot zone.REN Bingyan YANG Jiankun LI Yanlin LIU Xiaoping WANG Minhua 2006Rare Metals2006,25,z2:1
Hierarchical Cu_(3)P-based nanoarrays on nickel foam as efficient electrocatalysts for overall water splitting显示文摘Exploring the efficient bifunctional catalysts and binder-free electrode materials for both oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)is receiving continuous interest.Herein,we report the fabrication of hierarchical copper phosphide nanoarrays(Cu_(3)P)on three-dimensional(3D)nickel foam(NF)through a template-directed synthetic strategy as electrocatalysts for overall water splitting.Specifically, the Cu_(3)P/NF electrode demonstrates a remarkably low overpotential of~331 m V to approach the current density of 50 m A cm^(-2)in the OER,and an overpotential of~115 m V to achieve-10 m A cm^(-2)current density in the HER.Meanwhile the Cu_(3)P/NF catalyst could hold a great stability for both reactions in alkaline condition, reflected in 37 h for OER and 24 h for HER of consistent galvanostatic electrolysis. As revealed by TEM,STEM and XPS characterizations, the high catalytic OER activity can be ascribed to the 3D open structure of Cu_(3)P/NF and the abundant Cu O active sites in hierarchical Cu O/Cu_(3)P/NF structure after in-situ activation.Furthermore, the overall water splitting is conducted in a two-electrode cell, which requires only a cell voltage of 1.63 V to approach 10 m A cm^(-2)with a good stability of 20 h.This protocol of Cu_(3)P/NF electrode affords a general strategy to construct hierarchically structured metal phosphides for clean energy-related application.Zhuojun Yang Yongxiao Tuo Qing Lu Chen Chen Mengshan Liu Bingyan Liu Xuezhi Duan Yan Zhou Jun Zhang 2022Green Energy & Environment2022,7,2:1
Regeneration of immunocompetent B lymphopoiesis from pluripotent stem cells guided by transcription factors显示文摘Regeneration of functional B lymphopoiesis from pluripotent stem cells(PSCs)is challenging, and reliable methods have not been developed. Here,we unveiled the guiding role of three essential factors,Lhx2,Hoxa9,and Runx1,the simultaneous expression of which preferentially drives B lineage fate commitment and in vivo B lymphopoiesis using PSCs as a cell source. In the presence of Lhx2,Hoxa9,and Runx1 expression,PSC-derived induced hematopoietic progenitors(iHPCs)immediately gave rise to pro/pre-B cells in recipient bone marrow, which were able to further differentiate into entire B cell lineages, including innate B-1a,B-1b,and marginal zone B cells,as well as adaptive follicular B cells. In particular, the regenerative B cells produced adaptive humoral immune responses, sustained antigen-specific antibody production, and formed immune memory in response to antigen challenges. The regenerative B cells showed natural B cell development patterns of immunoglobulin chain switching and hypermutation via cross-talk with host T follicular helper cells, which eventually formed T cell-dependent humoral responses. This study exhibits de novo evidence that B lymphopoiesis can be regenerated from PSCs via an HSC-independent approach, which provides insights into treating B cell-related deficiencies using PSCs as an unlimited cell resource.Qi Zhang Bingyan Wu Qitong Weng Fangxiao Hu Yunqing Lin Chengxiang Xia Huan Peng Yao Wang Xiaofei Liu Lijuan Liu Jiapin Xiong Yang Geng Yalan Zhao Mengyun Zhang Juan Du Jinyong Wang 2022Cellular & Molecular Immunology2022,19,4:0
Conserved profiles of digestion by double restriction endonucleases in insect genomes facilitate the design of dd RAD显示文摘Double-digested Restriction Site Associated DNA Sequencing(ddRAD) through next-generation sequencing(NGS) generates large numbers of loci for characterizing genomewide variation among multiple samples using next-generation sequencing. Different combinations of restriction endonucleases(REs) may produce varying size distributions of digested fragments, which affect the number of genotyped loci. Understanding digestion profiles across different species will help in selecting REs for digestion in a particular organism. In this study, we use of genome sequences to compare the in silico digestion profile of 26 combinations of REs in 131 insect species with two simulation programs. The number of digested fragments in the 300–450 bp range increases linearly with the size of the genome. Different species and insect orders showed similar profiles when digested by different combinations of REs in silico, indicating the conservation of digestion by double enzymes in insect genomes. Combinations with Nla III or TaqαI usually produced higher number of fragments in the range 300–450 bp, while combinations with EcoRI or MluCI produced fewer fragments. The proportion of fragments with the same overhangs at the two ends of digested DNA was higher than those with different overhangs. The two four-base enzyme pairs produced more fragments in the 300–450 bp range than pairs of four-base + six-base enzymes. Experimental digestion of three species from Hymenoptera, Lepidoptera and Thysanoptera showed profiles congruent with in silico expectations. Our results shed light on understanding the digestion profiles of insect genomes and provide guidance on selecting REs for ddRAD projects.Bingyan Li Qiao Gao Lijun Cao Ary Anthony Hoffmann Qiong Yang Jiaying Zhu Shujun Wei 2018Zoological Systematics2018,43,4:0
Synthesis of arylsulfonyl-substituted indolo[2,1-a]isoquinolin-6(5H)-one derivatives via a TBAI-catalyzed radical cascade cyclization显示文摘We have developed a metal-free radical cascade reaction of N-substituted 2-aryl indoles with readily available sulfonyl hydrazides for the rapid construction of arylsulfonyl-substituted indolo[2,1-a]isoquinolin-6(5H)-one derivatives. With the TBAI–TBHP catalytic system,a broad series of structurally diverse indolo[2,1-a]isoquinolin-6(5H)-one derivatives were obtained in moderate to excellent yields. The reaction features mild reaction conditions, operationally easiness,scaled-up feasibility, and high functional-group-tolerance.Shengxian Zhai Shuxian Qiu Shuai Yang Bingyan Hua Yongsheng Niu Chuchu Han Youzhu Yu Yuchao Li Hongbin Zhai 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,1:0
Effect of hydrogen annealing on characteristics of polycrystalline silicon显示文摘The characteristics of mc-Si used for solar cells during H2 ambient annealing at 800-1200 ℃ were investigated by means of FTIR and QSSPCD. The results reveal that grain boundaries or defects in mc-Si may facilitate the formation of oxygen precipitates, and the formation of oxygen precipitates has deleterious effect on the lifetime of mc-Si. Decreasing lifetime could result from the formation of new recombination during annealing. Additionally, It is found that hydrogen may facilitate the formation of oxygen precipitates in mc-Si. On the other hand, the diffusion of hydrogen may passivate the defects/boundaries and it is beneficial to the lifetime of mc-Si.GOU Xianfang XU Ying LI Xudong HENG Yang MA Lifen REN Bingyan 2006Rare Metals2006,25,z1:0
Application of an atmospheric pressure plasma jet in a rat model of ischaemic stroke:Design, optimisation, and characteristics显示文摘Recent studies have shown the in vitro neuro-protective functions of atmospheric pressure plasma(APP)against multiple pathological injuries during ischaemic stroke(IS).However, whether APP treatment exerts a therapeutic effect on a rat IS model remains unclear. Here,on the basis of needle-to-ring dielectric barrier discharge,an atmospheric pressure plasma jet(APPJ)was designed, with the Helium as the working gas which was driven by a sinusoidal voltage. Then, the treatment conditions were optimised for IS rat model treatment and the characteristics of this APPJ were further diagnosed.Subsequently, the rat IS model was established through 90 min middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO),and plasma was intermittently inhaled by rats via the nasal cavity for a 2 min period at 60 min of MCAO process. The therapeutic effects of this plasma jet device were then evaluated using biomedical analyses.According to our results, intermittent APP inhalation in the MCAO rats increased the serum NO content, improved the neurological function, enhanced regional cerebral blood flow, lowered brain infarction, and reduced the cell apoptosis in brain tissues of MCAO rats.Collectively, our data provides a novel potential strategy for IS treatment by using atmospheric-pressure plasma inhalation.Ye Chen Bingyan Yang Yuqing Liu Lixin Xu Zhongfang Shi Yixiao Liu Ruoyu Han Fang Yuan Jiting Ouyang Xu Yan Kostya(Ken)Ostrikov 2023High Voltage2023,8,2:0
Molecular cloning and functional analysis of the pepper resistance gene Me3 to root-knot nematode显示文摘Root-knot nematodes(RKNs)cause severe diseases in peppers annually around the world. In pepper, the Me3 gene provides a heat-stable and broad-spectrum resistance to RKNs.In this study, several simple sequence repeat(SSR)markers and insertion/deletion(In Del)markers were developed to fine map the Me3 gene.Analysis of 2272 individuals(F2progenies)revealed that Me3 was located in a 45-kb DNA region between markers SSR784 and SSR339,in which there were three candidate genes.Among them,as a novel nucleotide binding site and leucine rich repeat(NBS-LRR)family gene, the DNA sequence of Capana09g000163 of pepper line‘HDA149’was 6348 bp in length, with a 2802-bp open reading frame encoding 933 amino acids, including NB-ARC and LRR domains.Tobacco transient expression assays demonstrated that expression of Capana09g000163 triggered a hypersensitive response(HR)in Nicotiana benthamiana leaves.Subcellular localization results showed that the Capana09g000163 protein was localized in the cell nucleus.Ectopic expression of Capana09g000163 in Arabidopsis significantly increased resistance against Meloidogyne incognita compared with the wild-type(WT)Arabidopsis.Furthermore,M.incognita was almost unable to develop in transgenic Arabidopsis expressing Capana09g000163.Taken together,we cloned the Me3 gene and verified that it induced resistance against M.incognita with the methods of map-based cloning and transgenic technology, which may be of great significance to pepper breeding for resistance against RKNs.Yang Liu Hongyi Cao Jian Ling Yuhong Yang Yan Li Bingyan Xie Jianlong Zhao Zhenchuan Mao 2023Horticultural Plant Journal2023,9,1:0
Improvement of interleaving Aramid pulp microfibers on compressive strengths of carbon fiber reinforced polymers with and without impact显示文摘Compressive strengths and elastic moduli of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer(CFRP)composites can be noticeably improved by multiple ultra-thin interlays with non-woven Aramid Pulp(AP)micro/nano-fibers.10-ply CFRP specimens with 0,2,4,6,8 g/m^(2)AP were tested under uniaxial compression. Those flexible AP fibers, filling the resin-rich regions and further constructing the fiber bridging at the ply interfaces, can effectively suppress delamination growth and lead to very good improvements both in the compressive strength and the elastic modulus. The CFRP specimen with an optimum interlay thickness has a distinct shear failure mode instead of the typical delamination cracking along the direction of continuous carbon fibers.Compressive Strengths After Impacts(CAI)of 12.35 J were also measured,up to 90%improvement in CAI has been observed. It is concluded those ultra-thin interlays of non-woven AP micro/nano-fibers are beneficial to design and manufacture“high strength”CFRP composites.Fei CHENG Guangming YANG Yunsen HU Bingyan YUAN Xiaozhi HU 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,10:0
Artificial intelligence in bladder cancer:current trends and future possibilities显示文摘To the Editor:Bladder cancer is the most common malignant tumor of the urinary system in the Asian population. In China,it is reported 80,000 new cases each year with an increasing incidence every year.Among these cases,75%are of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer(NMIBC).In muscular invasive bladder cancer(MIBC)and NMIBC patients, radical cystectomy is considered as a primary approach of treatment due to the higher risk of tumor progression.Furthermore.Jun Ma Deep K.Vaishnani Rixu Lin Jiayu Lyu Bingyan Ni Yang Zhang Mengjun Hu Guorong Chen 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,7:0
