1pORF5 plasmid protein of Chlamydia trachomatis induces MAPK-mediated pro-inflammatory cytokines via TLR2 activation in THP-1 cells显示文摘Infection with Chlamydia trachomatis induces inflammatory pathologies in the urogenital tract that can lead to infertility and ectopic pregnancy.Pathogenesis of infection has been mostly attributed to excessive cytokine production.However,precise mechanisms on how C.trachomatis triggers this production,and which protein(s) stimulate inflammatory cytokines remains unknown.In the present study,the C.trachomatis pORF5 protein induced tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α),interleukin-1 beta(IL-1β) and interleukin-8(IL-8) in dose-and time-dependent manners in the THP-1 human monocyte cell line.We found that intracellular p38/mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK) and extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK)/MAPK signaling pathways were required for the induction of TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-8.Blockade of toll-like receptor 2(TLR2) signaling reduced induction levels of TNF-α,IL-8 and IL-1β.We concluded that the C.trachomatis pORF5 protein might contribute to the inflammatory processes associated with chlamydial infections.ZHOU Hui HUANG QiuLin LI ZhongYu WU YiMou XIE XiaoBing MA KangKang CAO WenJuan ZHOU Zhou LU ChunXue ZHONG GuangMing 2013Science China(Life Sciences)2013,56,5:26
2Endothelial CDS2 deficiency causes VEGFA-mediated vascular regression and tumor inhibition显示文摘The response of endothelial cells to signaling stimulation is critical for vascular morphogenesis,homeostasis and function.Vascular endothelial growth factor-a(VEGFA)has been commonly recognized as a pro-angiogenic factor in vertebrate developmental,physiological and pathological conditions for decades.Here we report a novel finding that genetic ablation of CDP-diacylglycerol synthetase-2(CDS2),a metabolic enzyme that controls phosphoinositide recycling,switches the output of VEGFA signaling from promoting angiogenesis to unexpectedly inducing vessel regression.Live imaging analysis uncovered the presence of reverse migration of the angiogenic endothelium in cds2 mutant zebrafish upon VEGFA stimulation,and endothelium regression also occurred in postnatal retina and implanted tumor models in mice.In tumor models,CDS2 deficiency enhanced the level of tumorsecreted VEGFA,which in-turn trapped tumors into a VEGFA-induced vessel regression situation,leading to suppression of tumor growth.Mechanistically,VEGFA stimulation reduced phosphatidylinositol(4,5)-bisphosphate(PIP2)availability in the absence of CDS2-controlled-phosphoinositide metabolism,subsequently causing phosphatidylinositol(3,4,5)-triphosphate(PIP3)deficiency and F0X01 activation to trigger regression of CDS2-null endothelium.Thus,our data indicate that the effect of VEGFA on vasculature is context-dependent and can be converted from angiogenesis to vascular regression.Wencao Zhao Le Cao Hanru Ying Wenjuan Zhang Dantong Li Xiaolong Ziiu Wenzhi Xue Shuang Wu Mengye Cao Cong Fu Haonan Qi Yimei Hao Yun-Chi Tang Jun Qin Tao PZhong Xiaoxi Lin Luyang Yu Xuri Li Lin Li Dianqing Wu Weijun Pan 2019Cell Research2019,29,11:9
3Removal of impurities from scandium chloride solution using 732-type resin显示文摘The deep removal of Al, Fe(Ⅱ/Ⅲ), Ca, Zr, Ti and Si from scandium chloride solution was carried out by using 732-type strong acid cation exchange resin. The effects of pH value, contact time and complexing agents(EDTA) on the purification process are investigated. The results indicate that the 732-type resin have a good scandium selectivity and the adsorption order is Sc > Fe(Ⅲ)>Al > Ca > Zr > Ti > Si in the pH range of 1-3. The separation of Sc and Zr, Si, Ti can be directly carried out because the resin have a good adsorption effect on Sc, AI and Fe(Ⅲ) but poor adsorption effect on Zr, Si and Ti under the condition of pH = 2.5 and contact time 180 min. The Fe(Ⅱ), Ca and Al are selectively adsorbed on the resin by adding reducing agent ascorbic acid and EDTA into the solution for reducing Fe(Ⅲ) to Fe(Ⅱ) and complexing Sc.By using two-step ion exchange adsorption separation method, the removal rates of Fe(Ⅲ), Ti, Al, Ca, Zr and Si are 95.5%,99.8%,100%,98.2%,98.6% and 100%,respectively.Guotao Zhou Qinggang Li Pan Sun Wenjuan Guan Guiqing Zhang Zuoying Cao Li Zeng 2018Journal of Rare Earths2018,36,3:7
4FY-4A LMI Observed Lightning Activity in Super Typhoon Mangkhut(2018)in Comparison with WWLLN Data显示文摘Using lightning observations from the Fengyun-4A Lightning Mapping Imager(FY-4A LMI),best-track data from the Shanghai Typhoon Institute,bright temperature(TBB)data from Himawari-8 satellite,and composite reflectivity(CR)data from the South China radar network,we investigate the spatiotemporal distribution of lightning activity and convective evolution during the landfall of Super Typhoon Mangkhut,the strongest landing typhoon in China in2018.Three stages of active total lightning are observed,and differences of lightning characteristics between the inner core and the outer rainbands are present.The onset of inner-core lightning outbreak is about 4 h ahead of the maximum intensity of the storm,providing indicative information on the change of typhoon intensity.Lightning rates in the outer rainbands increase rapidly 12 h before the landfall,and lightning activity is mainly confined in the outer rainbands after the landfall.A good correlation in hourly variation is shown between lightning rates from the LMI and TBBs from the satellite.The averaged TBB within the inner core reaches its minimum(–80℃)when the innercore lightning outbreak occurs,indicating the occurrence and enhancement of deep convection there.Lightning locations observed by the LMI has a good spatial correspondence with regions of low TBBs and high CRs,revealing the monitoring capability of the LMI to lightning activity and deep convection in landing typhoons.Comparisons between the World Wide Lightning Location Network(WWLLN)and the LMI reveal that the spatial distribution,temporal evolution,and radial pattern of lightning activity in Mangkhut observed by the two systems are consistent.Furthermore,due to the detection capability of total lightning,the LMI has advantages in revealing the higher ratio of intra-cloud lightning within the inner core in typhoon.The continuous and real-time observation ofFY-4ALMI provides an unprecedented platform for monitoring total lightning and deep convection in landing typhoons in China,which will promote the generation of new research and applications in the future.Wenjuan ZHANG Wen HUI Weitao LYU Dongjie CAO Pengfei LI Dong ZHENG Xiang FANG Yijun ZHANG 2020Journal of Meteorological Research2020,34,2:7
5Three-liquid-phase extraction and separation of V(V) and Cr(VI) from acidic leach solutions of high-chromium vanadium–titanium magnetite显示文摘A new method by liquid–liquid–liquid three phase system, consisting of acidified primary amine N1923(abbreviated as A-N1923), poly(ethylene glycol)(PEG) and (NH_4)_2SO_4 aqueous solution, was suggested for the separation and simultaneous extraction of V(V) and Cr(VI) from the acidic leach solutions of highchromium vanadium–titanium magnetite. Experimental results indicated that V(V) and Cr(VI) could be selectively enriched into the A-N1923 organic top phase and PEG-rich middle phase, respectively, while Al(III)and other co-existing impurity ions, such as Si(IV), Fe(III), Ti(IV), Mg(II) and Ca(II) in acidic leach solutions,could be enriched in the(NH_4)_2SO_4 bottom aqueous phase. During the process for extraction and separation of V(V) and Cr(VI), almost all of impurity ions could be removed. The separation factors between V(V) and Cr(VI) could reach 630 and 908, respectively in the organic top phase and PEG middle phase, and yields of recovered V(V) and Cr(VI) in the top phase and middle phase respectively were all above 90%.Various effects including aqueous p H, A-N1923 concentration, PEG added amount and(NH_4)_2SO_4 concentration on three-phase partitioning of V(V) and Cr(VI) were discussed. It was found that the partition of Cr(VI) into the PEG-rich middle phase was driven by hydrophobic interaction, while extraction of V(V) by A-N1923 resulted of anion exchange between NO_3^- and H_2V_(10)O_(28)^(-4). Stripping of V(V) and Cr(VI) from the top organic phase and the middle PEG-rich phase were achieved by mixing respectively with NaNO_3 aqueous solutions and Na OH-((NH_4)_2SO_4 solutions. 8Grouping separation of mixed rare earths from their coexisting aqueous solutions by liquid-column elution显示文摘A new approach was proposed for grouping separation of 14 lanthanide rare-earth ions from their coexisting mixed aqueous solutions, by performing liquid-column elution using the aqueous solution containing 14 lanthanide rare-earth ions as the stationary phase and the dispersed organic oil droplets containing P507 extractant as the mobile phase. It was revealed that 14 lanthanide rare-earth ions could be separated into four groups, according to the lanthanide tetrad effect, respectively eluting out from the liquid column at different time in a certain order. Various effects including the saponification degree of P507, the concentration of P507 in organic phase, the length and inner diameter of the extraction column on the performance of grouping separation of rare-earth ions were discussed. The changes of the mass transfer coefficients were also investigated. The separation efficiency of the four groups of rareearth elements(REEs) was evaluated based on the elution resolution, Rs, of the elution peaks of La(Ⅲ),Gd(Ⅲ), Ho(Ⅲ) and Lu(Ⅲ), the four representative elements respectively from each of the four groups of REEs. Experimental results demonstrated that the separation of REEs by liquid-column elution mainly depended on the competitive adsorption of different rare-earth groups onto the surface of ascending P507 oil droplets. The affinity of different rare-earth groups with P507 extractant and a limited adsorption capacity of P507 molecules at the surface of the oil droplets ascending in liquid column play the important role. 9Timing of formation of the Hongdonggou Pb-Zn polymetallic ore deposit,Henan Province,China:Evidence from Rb-Sr isotopic dating of sphalerites显示文摘The Hongdonggou Pb-Zn polymetallic ore deposit,located in the southwestern part of the Luanchuan Mo-W-Pb-Zn-Ag polymetallic ore mineralization in Henan Province,China,is an important part of the East Qinling metallogenic belt.The orebodies in the deposit,which are vein,bedded and lenticular,are mainly hosted in the syenite porphyry,and formed within the carbonate and clastic rocks of the Yuku and Qiumugou formations partially.The genesis of the deposit has previously been argued to be of hydrothermal-vein type or of skarn-hydrothermal type.In this study,we report the results of Rb-Sr isotopic dating based on sphalerites from the main orebody of the Hongdonggou Pb-Zn polymetallic ore deposit,which yield an isochron age of 135.7 ± 3.2 Ma,constraining the timing of mineralization as early Cretaceous.The age is close to those reported for the Pb-Zn deposits in the Luanchuan ore belt.The(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr),values of the sphalerites(0.71127 + 0.00010) are lower than that of terrigenous silicates(0.720) and higher than the mantle(0.707),suggesting that the metallogenic components were mainly derived through crust-mantle mixing.Combining the results from this study with those from previous work,we propose that the Hongdonggou Pb-Zn polymetallic ore deposit is a hydrothermal-vein deposit associated with the early Cretaceous tectonothermal event,and the mineralization is controlled by NWand near EW-trending faults in the Luanchuan Mo-W-Pb-Zn-Ag polymetallic ore concentration belt.Fan Yang Gongwen Wang Huawen Cao Ruixi Li Li Tang Yufeng Huang Hao Zhang Fei Xue Wenjuan Jia Nana Guo 2017Geoscience Frontiers2017,8,3:2

The representative complexes Co2 and Co3 were confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses, indicating pseudo-square-pyramidal geometry around the cobalt centre. 11Kinetics and the difference for extraction of praseodymium and neodymium from nitrate aqueous solution by [A336][NO_3] using the single drop technique显示文摘The kinetics and the difference for Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)extraction from nitrate aqueous solution using trialkylmethylammonium nitrate([A336][NO3])as extractant were investigated by the single drop technique.The dependence of the extraction rate of Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)on the concentrations of free Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)ions,the concentrations of Na NO3 and H+in aqueous solutions,and the concentrations of[A336][NO3]in kerosene solutions were discussed and the corresponding extraction rate equations for Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)were obtained.These equations demonstrated that the reaction rate constant of Pr(Ⅲ)with[A336][NO3]was double than that of Nd(Ⅲ).The effect of the addition of diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid(DTPA)on the difference in the extraction rate of Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)by[A336][NO3]was also investigated.It was revealed that the difference in the complex formation rates of Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)with DTPA made a significant impact on the difference in the extraction rates of Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)with[A336][NO3].The ratio of extraction rates of Pr(Ⅲ)to Nd(Ⅲ)with[A336][NO3]was in proportion to the ratio of complex formation rates of Pr(Ⅲ)to Nd(Ⅲ)with DTPA.The extraction rate difference for Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)with[A336][NO3]increased due to a higher complex formation rate constant of DTPA with the free and un-complexed Nd(Ⅲ)ions in the aqueous nitrate solution than that with Pr(Ⅲ)ions.Therefore,the addition of DTPA in the aqueous nitrate solution is an effective method to intensify the separation of Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)in kinetics.The study on the extraction mechanism indicated that both the extraction of Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)by[A336][NO3]were diffusion controlled,and the reactions obeyed SN2 mechanism.The present work highlights a possible approach to strengthen the kinetic separation of Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ).Xiaoqin Wang Kun Huang Wenjuan Cao Pan Sun Weiyuan Song Huizhou Liu 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,5:1
