12018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). 2Analysis of output voltage on a planar insulating core transformer显示文摘Output voltage is an important performance characteristic of planar insulating core transformer (PICT).In PICT magnetic cores are insulated from their neighboring magnetic cores by solid insulating materials.Solid insulating materials can increase leakage flux.This results in a low generated voltage in secondary coils,especially on the upper stages.Connecting flux compensation capacitors to secondary coils can compensate the flux loss.Design equations to calculate the flux compensation capacitors value and relevant simulation by CST and Protel software were presented.Simulation results of an actual PICT showed that output voltage increased by 19% after being connected to flux compensation capacitors and the voltage on every stage was equally distributed.Results of simulation were consistent with the following experimental test,which revealed that flux compensation capacitors were effective.KANG Cheng LIU Yonghao LI Deming 2012Nuclear Science and Techniques2012,23,1:3
3Potential of cellulose-based materials for lithium-ion batteries(LIB)separator membranes显示文摘Lithium-ion batteries(LIB)are the dominant power sources for many consumer electronics,and they can also be large-scale power sources/energy storage devices,which can be credited to their advantages:high efficiency,high energy density,long cycling life.The separator membrane is a critical component of LIB.It is an electron insulator between the cathode and anode electrodes in order to prevent electrical short circuits,and it also functions as an ionic conductor to let ions pass freely in the charging and discharging cycles.The critical parameters to meet high quality separator membranes include:high dimensional/thermal/chemical stability,good wettability towards electrolyte,high mechanical strength,appropriate porosity and pore size distribution.Conventionally,plastic materials,such as polyolefin,are the main materials for manufacturing LIB separator membrane.However,polyolefin separator s have a number of drawbacks such as poor thermal stability and wettability.Cellulosic materials have unique properties,and can meet the quality specifications of LIB separator membranes;in addition,they are abundant,low cost,biodegradable,renewable and sustainable.Therefore,cellulose and its related materials can be promising alternatives to replace polyolefin for LIB separator membranes.In this short review,relevant literature on the topic was reviewed and further development/improvement of cellulose-based LIB separator membrane will be discussed.Dong Cheng Xue Yang Zhibin He Yonghao Ni 2016Journal of Bioresources and Bioproducts2016,1,1:2
4Subsurface reconstruction and saturation of surface bonds显示文摘Surface reconstructions and stabilization mechanisms have been great challenges for insulators. Based on accurate determination of the long-sought atomic structure of the spinel(1 1 1) surface, here we show that the surface is stabilized by an unconventional mechanism. In general, solid surfaces have unsaturated chemical bonds and are prone to atomic reconstruction to saturate them. The spinel(1 1 1) surface,however, has the surface bonds fully saturated, while the unsaturated bonds remain only in the subsurface. It undergoes a reconstruction that keeps the topmost atomic layer unchanged, but has the subsurface atoms completely rearranged. Such a reconstruction results in a perfect compensation of the surface polarity and a large reduction in the surface energy. 7Photoinduced small electron polarons generation and recombination in hematite显示文摘Polarons generally affect adversely the photochemical and photophysical properties of transition metal oxides.However,the excited-state dynamics of polarons are not fully established to date and thus require an atomistic understanding.We focus onα-Fe_(2)O_(3)with photoexcitation,electron injection,and heterovalent doping as the small polaron models,and conduct simulations of ab initio adiabatic molecular dynamics(AIMD)and nonadiabatic molecular dynamics(NA-MD).The elaborately designed AIMD simulations show that localization of electron at a single Fe site is an adiabatic and ultrafast process within sub-15 fs.Fe_(2)O_(3)doping with an electron or a Si and Ti dopant forms a localized electron polaron while photoexcitation forms localized electron and hole polarons simultaneously,leading to diverse electron–hole recombination dynamics.NA-MD simulations demonstrate that recombination of an electron polaron created by doping with a delocalized hole at the valence band maximum ofα-Fe_(2)O_(3)takes place around 5 ps,while recombination between a pair of small electron and hole polarons in photoexcited Fe_(2)O_(3)delays to about 110 ps owing to weak NA coupling and fast decoherence process.The ultrafast formation of small electron polarons inα-Fe_(2)O_(3)impedes the accumulation of delocalized holes in the valence band that directly participate in water oxidation at photoanodes.The detrimental effect can be partially circumvented in photoexcited Fe_(2)O_(3)for slowing electron–hole recombination despite polarons may retain low charge mobility.These findings provide a fundamental understanding of the excited-state dynamics of small electron polaron inα-Fe_(2)O_(3)and may help design efficient transition metal oxides photoanodes.Cheng Cheng Yonghao Zhu Zhaohui Zhou Run Long Wei-Hai Fang 2022npj Computational Materials2022,,1:1

9Design of B/N Co-doped micro/meso porous carbon electrodes from CNF/BNNS/ZIF-8 nanocomposites for advanced supercapacitors显示文摘Boron(B)and nitrogen(N)co-doped 3D hierarchical micro/meso porous carbon(BNPC)were successfully fabricated from cellulose nanofiber(CNF)/boron nitride nanosheets(BNNS)/zinc-methylimidazolate framework-8(ZIF-8)nanocomposites prepared by 2D BNNS,ZIF-8 nanoparticles,and wheat straw based CNFs.Herein,CNF/ZIF-8 acts as versatile skeleton and imparts partial N dopant into porous carbon structure,while the introduced BNNS can help strengthen the hierarchical porous superstructure and endow abundant B/N co-dopants within BNPC matrix.The obtained BNPC electrode possesses a high specific surface area of 505.4 m2/g,high B/N co-doping content,and desirable hydrophilicity.Supercapacitors assembled with BNPC-2(B/N co-doped porous carbon with a CNF/BNNS mass ratio of 1꞉2)electrodes exhibited exceptional electrochemical performance,demonstrating high capacitance stability even after 5000 charge-discharge cycles.The devices exhibited outstanding energy density and power density,as well as the highest specific capacitance of 433.4 F/g at 1.0 A/g,when compared with other similar reports.This study proposes a facile and sustainable strategy for efficiently fabrication of rich B/N co-doped hierarchical micro/meso porous carbon electrodes from agricultural waste biomass for advanced supercapacitor performance.Zhen Shang Xingye An Shuangxi Nie Na Li Haibing Cao Zhengbai Cheng Hongbin Liu Yonghao Ni Liqin Liu 2023Journal of Bioresources and Bioproducts2023,8,3:0
10Identification and characterization of slime-producing microorganisms in papermaking water loops using emulsion polymerase chain reaction techniques显示文摘Slime formation on paper machines is a critical issue that can substantially impact the quantity and quality of paper production.This problem is caused by the growth of an abundant and diverse amount of bacteria.Through the application of emulsion polymerase chain reaction(emPCR),the bacterial diversity was analyzed on paper machines and more operational taxonomic units(OTUs)were obtained.Eleven types of bacterial phyla were found that have been previously identified,including Proteobacteria(α-,β-,γ-,ε-,andφ-),Bacteroidetes,Firmicutes,Cyanobacteria,Verrucomicrobia,Actinobacteria,Spirochaetes,Chloroflexi,Deinococcus-Thermus,and Armatimonadetes.Furthermore,for the first time,there were representatives of the phyla Lentisphaerae found on paper machines.This study revealed the wide bacterial diversities of slime found on paper machines in China,which was also similar to other industrial processes.Liuxin Shi Gang Shi Rongxia ZhuGe Qiang Cheng Fangfang Wu Yonghao Ni 2018Journal of Bioresources and Bioproducts2018,3,3:0
