2Association between serumα-L-fucosidase andnon-alcoholic fatty liver disease:Cross-sectional study显示文摘AIM: To explore the association between serum α-Lfucosidase(Af U) and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAf LD).METHODS: A total of 16473 individuals(9456 men and 7017 women) were included in the current study, who presented for a health examination at the first Affiliated hospital of Zhejiang University School of medicine in 2014. The baseline characteristics of the cohort were compared by NAf LD status. Linear regression analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis were applied to assess the risk factors for NAf LD. Receiver operating characteristic curve was used to determine the sensitivity and specificity of Af U in the diagnosis of NAf LD.RESULTS: The prevalence rates of NAf LD and metabolic syndrome(met S) were 38.0% and 25.4%, respectively. The NAf LD group had significantly higher Af U levels than the non-NAf LD group(28.7 ± 7.9 U/L vs 26.0 ± 7.3 U/L, P < 0.001) and the prevalence rate of NAf LD increased with progressively higher serum Af U levels. Af U was positively correlated with met S and its five components: central obesity, hypertriglyceridemia, low high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and elevated blood pressure and fasting glucose. Stepwise multiple logistic regression analysis showed that Af U was associated with an increased risk of NAf LD(OR = 1.009, 95%CI: 1.003-1.014, P < 0.001). The best cut-off value of Af U for the diagnosis of NAf LD was 27.5 U/L. The area under the curve(diagnostic efficacy index) was 0.606. The sensitivity and specificity were 54.6% and 61.8%, respectively. 6Kinetics and mechanism of the sulfurization behavior of silver conductive material in automobile industry显示文摘As a functional material,silver was employed as the electrical contact material in automotive electronics due to the excellent conductivity.However,this material was prone to the atmospheric corrosion,resulting in the damage of structure and failure of devices.In this study,the corrosion behavior of conductive silver applied in printed circuit board was explored,and it was found that the strongest environmental factors(SO2 pollutants,temperature and relative humidity(RH))influenced the structural damage of material on the viewpoints of kinetics and mechanism.Compared with other factors,temperature(55℃)was the dominating factor causing the structural change of conductive material under operation environments,and the corrosion product on the surface reached the maximum at the thickness of different corrosion product layer of dfilm=15.56910-5 lm.However,SO2 pollutants and RH accordingly increase the thickness of corrosion products(Ag2S and Ag_(2)SO_(4))during corrosion process,due to the promotion of the diffusion of corrosive species.Therefore,this study not only significantly reinforces the understanding of the structural damage of conductive material among the different environmental factors,but also provides an important guide to corrosion prevention design and materials selection in actual manufacturing.Ze-Di Shi Le Zhang Yue-Long Ma Tian-Yuan Zhou Bing-Heng Sun Cen Shao Guo-Can Huang Shi-Tong Yin Su-Dan Hou Zeng-Wang Yang Hao Chen 2022Rare Metals2022,41,1:1

10Scientific objectives of the Hot Universe Baryon Surveyor(HUBS) mission显示文摘The Hot Universe Baryon Surveyor(HUBS) is a proposed space-based X-ray telescope for detecting X-ray emissions from the hot gas content in our universe. With its unprecedented spatially-resolved high-resolution spectroscopy and large field of view,the HUBS mission will be uniquely qualified to measure the physical and chemical properties of the hot gas in the interstellar medium, the circumgalactic medium, the intergalactic medium, and the intracluster medium. These measurements will be valuable for two key scientific goals of HUBS, namely to unravel the AGN and stellar feedback physics that governs the formation and evolution of galaxies, and to probe the baryon budget and multi-phase states from galactic to cosmological scales. In addition to these two goals, the HUBS mission will also help us solve some problems in the fields of galaxy clusters, AGNs, difuse X-ray backgrounds, supernova remnants, and compact objects. 12Electrochemical analysis of microRNAs with hybridization chain reaction-based triple signal amplification显示文摘Selective and sensitive detection of trace microRNA is important for early diagnosis of diseases due to its expression level related to diseases.Herein,a triple signal amplification strategy is developed for trace microRNA-21 (miRNA-21) detection by combining with target-triggered cyclic strand displacement reaction (TCSDR),hybridization chain reaction (HCR) and enzyme catalytic amplification.Four DNA hairpins(H1,H2,H3,H4) are employed to form an ultralong double-strand DNA (dsDNA) structure,which is initiated by target miRNA-21.As H3 and H4 are labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP),numerous HRPs are loaded on the long dsDNA,producing significantly enhanced electrocatalytic signals in the hydrogen peroxide (H_(2)O_(2)) and 3,3,5,5-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) reaction strategy.Compared with single signal amplification,the triple signal amplification strategy shows higher electrochemical response,wider dynamic range and lower detection limit for miRNA-21 detection with excellent selectivity,reproducibility and stability.Taking advantage of the triple signal amplification strategy,the proposed electrochemical biosensor can detect miRNA-21 in 10 He La cell lysates,suggesting that it is a promising method for fruitful assay in clinical diagnosis.Jianfeng Ma Lingbo Gong Yingying Cen Lin Feng Yan Su Xingfen Liu Jie Chao Ying Wan Shao Su Lianhui Wang 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,7:0
13One-order-higher Cr4+ conversion efficiency in Cr4+:YAG transparent ceramics for a high-frequency passively Q-switched laser显示文摘The Cr4+-doped yttrium aluminum garnet(Cr4+:YAG) saturable absorber, a new generation of passively Q-switched solid-state laser material, faces a significant obstacle of low conversion rate of chromium from trivalent to tetravalent, degrading efficiency in a passively Q-switched laser. In this paper, highly transparent Cr4+:YAG ceramics were fabricated and committed to compare the laser performance with Cr4+:YAG crystals on a 1 μm passively Q-switched laser. Thanks to the grain boundary effect, the Cr4+conversion efficiency of 0.05 at.% Cr4+:YAG transparent ceramics coated with high transparency(HT) films(T = 86.46% at 1064 nm)was nine times higher than that of 0.1 at.% Cr4+:YAG single crystals coated with HT films(T = 84.00% at1064 nm). Differing from the counterpart Cr4+:YAG crystals, no absorption saturation tendency was observed for the 0.05 at.% Cr:YAG ceramics when the pump power exceeded ~1900 mW. Furthermore, the repetition frequency reached 217 kHz for 0.05 at.% Cr:YAG ceramics, which was a three-fold factor increase from that of the corresponding single crystal. The advantages of transparent ceramics over single crystals were proved through laser performance for the first time, to the best of our knowledge. 15Lower Limb Muscle Forces in Table Tennis Footwork during Topspin Forehand Stroke Based on the OpenSim Musculoskeletal Model:A Pilot Study显示文摘Introduction:Footwork is one of the training contents that table tennis players and coaches focus on.This study aimed to gain a thorough understanding of the muscle activity of the table tennis footwork and creating a musculoskeletal model to investigate the muscle forces,joint kinematic,and joint kinetic characteristics of the footwork during topspin forehand stroke.Methods:Six male table tennis athletes(height:171.98±4.97 cm;weight:68.77±7.86 kg;experience:10.67±1.86 years;age:22.50±1.64 years)performed chasse step and one-step footwork to return the ball from the coach by topspin forehand stroke.The kinematics,kinetics,and muscle activity of the lower limb were recorded by the motion capture,force platform,and Electromyography(EMG)system.Statistical parametric mapping(SPM)analysis was used to investigate any difference between the chasse step and one-step footwork during the stroke.Results and Conclusion:The muscle force of the biceps femoris long head(p<0.001),lateral gastrocnemius(p<0.001),vastus lateralis(p<0.001),vastus medial(p<0.001),rectus femoris(p<0.001),and tibia anterior(p<0.001)of the chasse step were significantly greater than the one-step footwork during the early stroke phase(stance).At the end of the stroke phase(push-off),the muscle force of the biceps femoris long head(p<0.001),medial gastrocnemius(p<0.001),lateral gastrocnemius(p<0.001),rectus femoris(p<0.001),and tibias anterior(p<0.001)in the chasse step footwork was significantly greater than the one-step footwork.The muscle force of the ankle plantar flexor and valgus muscle groups in the one-step was significantly greater than in the chasse step.Besides,the moment and angle of hip flexion(p=0.001)and axial rotation(p=0.009)were significantly greater for the chasse step than the one-step footwork,as well as the ankle plantarflexion angle(p<0.001)and moment(p<0.001)of the one-step footwork were significantly higher than the chasse step footwork.The results of this study can be applied to movement control and injury prevention in table tennis footwork.Yuqi He Shirui Shao Gusztáv Fekete Xiaoyi Yang Xuanzhen Cen Yang Song Dong Sun Yaodong Gu 2022Molecular & Cellular Biomechanics2022,19,4:0
16Spectral feature characterization and nitrogen content prediction in soils with different particle sizes and moisture contents显示文摘The objective of this research is to analyze the influences of light source incidence angle,fiber height,moisture content,and particle size on loamy mixed soil spectra.Nitrogen(N)content calibration and cross-validation models at different moisture contents and particle sizes were obtained using partial least squares(PLS)analysis.Spectral data were collected using a spectrophotometer.Fiber height of 100 mm and light source angle at 45°were chosen to obtain the sharpest spectra without apparent scattering effect.The results show that moisture content and particle size strongly influenced the absorbance of the spectra,and a better N prediction model was obtained when the particle sizes were in the ranges of 0.5-1.0,1.0-2.0 and 2.0-5.0 mm,with the correlation coefficients(r)of 0.819,0.815 and 0.818,and standard errors of prediction(SEP)of 2.29,2.41 and 2.42 mg/kg,respectively.Poor N prediction model was obtained when the soil was kept in its natural moisture content with r of 0.575 and SEP of 3.275 mg/kg,compared to the performance of dried soil samples with r of 0.815 and SEP of 2.425 mg/kg.He Yong Shao Yongni Annia García Pereira Antihus Alexander Hernández Gómez Cen Haiyan 2008International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2008,1,1:0
17Micropore-confined Ru nanoclusters catalyst for efficient pHuniversal hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘Pt-based catalysts are used commercially for the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),even though the low earth abundance and high cost of platinum hinder scale-up applications.Ru metal is a promising alternative catalyst for HER owing to its lower cost but similar metal-hydrogen bond strength to Pt.However,designing an efficient and robust Ru-based electrocatalyst for pHuniversal HER is challenging.Herein,we successfully synthesized N-doped carbon(NC)supported ruthenium catalysts with different Ru sizes(single-atoms,nanoclusters and nanoparticles),and then systematically evaluated their performance for HER.Among these catalysts,the Ru nanocluster catalyst(Ru NCs/NC)displayed optimal catalytic performance with overpotentials of only 14,30,and 32 mV(at 10 mA·cm^(-2))in 1 M KOH,1 M phosphate buffer saline(PBS),and 0.5 M H_(2)SO_(4),respectively.The corresponding mass activities were 32.2,12.1 and 8.1 times higher than those of 20 wt.%Pt/C,and also much better than those of the Ru single-atoms(Ru SAs/NC)and Ru nanoparticle(Ru NPs/NC)catalysts,at an overpotential of 100 mV under alkaline,neutral and acidic conditions,respectively.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations revealed that the outstanding HER performance of the Ru NCs/NC catalyst resulted from a strong interaction between the Ru nanoclusters and the N-doped carbon support,which downshifted the d-band center and thus weakened the*H adsorption ability of Ru sites.Xiaoxiao Huang Ruihu Lu Yaping Cen Dunchao Wang Shao Jin Wenxing Chen Geoffrey I NWaterhouse Ziyun Wang Shubo Tian Xiaoming Sun 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
