| 1 | Step kinematic calibration of a 3-DOF planar parallel kinematic machine tool显示文摘This paper presents a novel step kinematic calibration method for a 3 degree-of-freedom(DOF) planar parallel kinematic machine tool,based on the minimal linear combinations(MLCs) of error parameters.The method using mapping of linear combinations of parameters in error transfer multi-parameters coupling system changes the modeling,identification and error compensation of geometric parameters in the general kinematic calibration into those of linear combinations of parameters.By using the four theorems of the MLCs,the sets of the MLCs that are respectively related to the relative precision and absolute precision are determined.All simple and feasible measurement methods in practice are given,and identification analysis of the set of the MLCs for each measurement is carried out.According to the identification analysis results,a step calibration including step measurement,step identification and step error compensation is determined by taking into account both measurement costs and observability.The experiment shows that the proposed method has the following merits:(1) the parameter errors that cannot influence precision are completely avoided;(2) it reflects the mapping of linear combinations of parameters more accurately and enhances the precision of identification;and(3) the method is robust,efficient and effective,so that the errors in position and orientation are kept at the same order of the measurement noise.Due to these merits,the present method is attractive for the 3-DOF planar parallel kinematic machine tool and can be also applied to other parallel kinematic machine tools with weakly nonlinear kinematics. | CHANG Peng,WANG JinSong,LI TieMin,LIU XinJun & GUAN LiWen Department of Precision Instruments and Mechanology,Tsinghua University,Beijing 100084,China | 2008 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2008,51,12: | 9 |
| 2 | Analysis of genetic diversity and population structure of Chinese yak breeds (Bos grunniens) using microsatellite markers显示文摘Nine Chinese yak breeds (Maiwa, Tianzhu White, Qinghai Plateau, Sibu, Zhongdian, Pali, Tibetan High Mountain, Jiulong, and Xin-jiang) and Gayal were analyzed by means of 16 microsatellite markers to determine the level of genetic variation within populations, genetic relationship between populations, and population structure for each breed. A total of 206 microsatellite alleles were observed. Mean F-statistics (0.056) for 9 yak breeds indicated that 94.4% of the genetic variation was observed within yak breeds and 5.6% of the genetic variation existed amongst breeds. The Neighbor-Joining phylogenetic tree was constructed based on Nei's standard genetic dis-tances and two clusters were obtained. The Gayal separated from the yaks far away and formed one cluster and 9 yak breeds were grouped together. The analysis of population structure for 9 yak breeds and the Gayal showed that they resulted in four clusters; one clus-ter includes yaks from Tibet Autonomous Region and Qinghai Province, one cluster combines Zhongdian, Maiwa, and Tianzhu White, and Jiulong and Xinjiang come into the third cluster. Pali was mainly in the first cluster (90%), Jiulong was mainly in the second cluster (87.1%), Zhongdian was primarily in the third cluster (83%), and the other yak breeds were distributed in two to three clusters. | 7 | Assessment of prediction model of the CPUE of neon flying squid with different sources of remote sensing data显示文摘Accurately building the relationship between the oceanographic environment and the distribution of neon flying squid(Ommastrephes bartramii)is very important to understand the potential habitat pattern of O.bartramii.However,when building the prediction model of O.bartramii with traditional oceanographic variables(e.g.,chlorophyll a concentration(Chl a)and sea surface temperature(SST))from space-borne observations,part of the important spectrum characteristics of the oceanic surface could be masked by using the satellite data products directly.In this study,the neglected remote sensing information(i.e.,spectral remote sensing reflectance(Rrs)and brightness temperature(BT))is firstly incorporated to build the prediction model of catch per unit effort(CPUE)of O.bartramii from July to December during 2014–2018 in the Northwest Pacific Ocean.Results show that both the conventional oceanographic variables and the neglected remote sensing data are suitable for building the prediction model,whereas the overall root mean square error(RMSE)of the predicted CPUE of O.bartramii with the former is typically less accurate than that with the latter.Hence,the Rrs and BT could be a more suitable data source than the Chl a and SST to predict the distribution of O.bartramii,highlighting that the potential value of the neglected variables in understanding the habitat suitability of O.bartramii. | Liang Chang Yanli Yang Xinjun Chen Wei Yu Yangdong Li Guiping Feng Yang Zhang | 2023 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2023,42,6: | 0 |
| 8 | Gradient defects mediate negative thermal quenching in phosphors显示文摘Luminescent materials often suffer from thermal quenching(TQ),limiting the continuation of their applications under high temperatures up to 473 K.The formation of defect levels could suppress TQ,but rational synthesis and deep understanding of multiple defects-regulated luminescent materials working in such a wide temperature range still remain challenging.Here,we prepare a negative thermal quenching(NTQ)phosphor LiTaO_(3)∶Tb^(3+)by introducing gradient defects V_(Ta)^(5−),Tb_(Li)^(2+),and(V_(Ta)Tb_(Li))^(3−)as identified by advanced experimental and theoretical studies.Its photoluminescence significantly becomes intense with rising temperatures and then slowly increases at 373 to 473 K.The mechanism studies reveal that gradient defects with varied trapping depths could act as energy buffer layers to effectively capture the carriers.Under thermal disturbance,the stored carriers could successively migrate to the activators in consecutive and wide temperature zones,compensating for TQ to enhance luminescence emission.This study initiates the synthesis of multi-defect NTQ phosphors for temperature-dependent applications. | Mingxue Deng Xingzhong Cao Yangmin Tang Zhenzhen Zhou Lijia Liu Xiaofeng Liu Peng Zhang Lo-Yueh Chang Hao Ruan Xinjun Guo Jiacheng Wang Qian Liu | 2023 | Advanced Photonics2023,5,2: | 0 |

| 10 | A dual-targeted multifunctional nanoformulation for potential prevention and therapy of Alzheimer’s disease显示文摘Antioxidation and adjustable treatment strategies are critical for the effective treatment of Alzheimer’s disease(AD).Here,we design a dual-targeted Prussian blue nanoformulation(PTCN)that can cross the blood-brain barrier and target amyloid beta aggregates further exert antioxidant effects.An adjustable gradient dosing strategy with PTCN is used for the first time to design the preventive and therapeutic trials based on the severity of oxidative stress at different AD stages.The results show that PTCN could effectively ameliorate AD-related pathological processes,improve the cognitive decline,and rescue hippocampal atrophy of APP/PS1 mice in both preventive and therapeutic trials.Altogether,PTCN provided here is a successful combination of three traditional biomaterials with good biosafety,which has broad prospects for the early prevention,mild remission,and late treatment of AD,and is expected to be developed into personalized therapeutic drugs and healthcare products for clinical AD in the future. | Dongju Zhao Yuqing Tang Xinjun Suo Chaonan Zhang Yan Dou Jin Chang | 2021 | The Innovation2021,2,4: | 0 |
