| 1 | Compound Danshen injection improves endotoxin-induced microcirculatory disturbance in rat mesentery显示文摘AIM: To investigate the effect of compound Danshen injection on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced rat mesenteric microcirculatory dysfunctions and the underlying possible mechanism by an inverted intravital microscope and high-speed video camera system. METHODS: LPS was continuously infused through the jugular artery of male Wistar rats at the dose of 2 mg/kg per hour. Changes in mesenteric microcirculation,such as diameters of arterioles and venules,velocity of RBCs in venules,leukocyte rolling,adhesion and emigration,free radicals released from post-capillary venules,FITC- albumin leakage and mast cell degranulation,were observed through an inverted intravital microscope assisted with CCD camera and SIT camera. Meanwhile,the expression of adhesion molecules CD11b/CD18 and the production of free radical in neutrophils,and the expression of intercellular adhesion molecule 1 (ICAM-1) in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) were quantified by flow cytometry (FACS) in vitro. RESULTS: The continuous infusion with LPS resulted in a number of responses in microcirculation,including a significant increase in the positive region of venulestained with Monastral blue B,rolling and adhesion of leukocytes,production of oxygen radical in venular wall,albumin efflux and enhanced mast cell degranulation in vivo,all of which,except for the leukocyte rolling,were attenuated by the treatment with compound Danshen injection. Experiments performed in vitro further revealed that the expression of CD11b/CD18 and the production of oxygen free radical in neutrophils,and the expression of ICAM-1 in HUVECs were increased by exposure to LPS,and they were attenuated by compound Danshen injection. | 2 | First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. In its first phase, JUNA aims at the direct measurements of^(25)Mg(p,γ)^(26)Al,^(19)F(p,α)^(16)O,^(13)C(α,n)^(16)O and ^(12)C(α,γ)^(16)O reactions. The experimental setup,which includes an accelerator system with high stability and high intensity, a detector system, and a shielding material with low background, will be established during the above research. | 4 | Characteristics of reactivity and structures of palm kernel shell (PKS) biochar during CO_2/H_2O mixture gasification显示文摘Palm kernel shell(PKS)biochars with different levels of carbon conversion were initially prepared using a tube furnace,after which the reactivity of each sample was assessed with a thermogravimetric analyzer under a CO_2 atmosphere.The pore structure and carbon ordering of each biochar also examined,employing a surface area analyzer and a Raman spectroscopy.Thermogravimetric results showed that the gasification index R_sof the PKS biochar decreased from 0.0305 min^(-1) at carbon conversion(x)=20% to 0.0278 min^(-1)at x=40%.The expansion of micropores was the dominant process during the pore structure evolution,ad mesopores with sizes ranging from 6 to 20,48 to 50 nm were primarily generated during gasification under a CO_2/H_2O mixture.The proportion of amorphous carbon in the PKS biochar decreased significantly as x increased,suggesting that the proportion of ordered carbon was increased during the CO_2/H_2O mixed gasification.A significantly reduced total reaction time was observed when employing a CO_2/intermittent H_2O process along with an 83.46% reduction in the steam feed,compared with the amount required using a CO_2/H_2O atmosphere. | Guozhang Chang Ximin Yan Pengyu Qi Mei An Xiude Hu Qingjie Guo | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,10: | 3 |
| 5 | Wind Tunnel Experiments and Numerical Study on Performance Characteristics of an H-type Vertical Axis Wind Turbine in the Spanwise Direction显示文摘The aerodynamic forces and vortex characteristics of an H-type Vertical Axis Wind Turbine(VAWT)become complicated because of dynamic stall,particularly in the three-dimensional impact on the blade spanwise direction.This study focused on the evaluation of the aerodynamic performance and vortex characteristics of an H-type VAWT in the spanwise direction by numerical simulations and wind tunnel experiments.Pressure acting on the blade surface was obtained from multiport pressure measurement devices by wind tunnel.Meanwhile,the vortex field around different blade sections was investigated through numerical simulations.The stall behavior was analysed by comparing the results of numerical simulations and experiments.As a result,the tangential force of single blade was mainly contributed at the chordwise position of x/c≤0.4 c and the power of single blade was mainly contributed at the azimuthal angle range of 60°≤θ≤150°in the blade section position region of 0≤z/(H/2)≤0.7.At the section position of z/(H/2)=0.5,the initial flow separation was found at the suction side and progressed forward to the leading edge.With the increase of the tip speed ratios,the decreasing position of the averaged local power coefficient of each section was closer to the middle section of z/(H/2)=0,and the attenuation speed became faster.The power coefficient reductions at the blade section position of z/(H/2)=0.9 were 38.29%,46.78%and 56.42%when the tip speed ratios were 1.38,2.19 and 2.58,respectively.The results of this study provided a better understanding of the development of the performance characteristics and vortex characteristics of H-type VAWT. | ZHANG Yanfeng LI Qing’an ZHU Xinyu SONG Xiaowen CAI Chang GUO Zhiping | 2021 | Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,3: | 2 |
