3Tailoring spin mixtures by ion-enhanced Maxwell magnetic coupling in colortunable organic electroluminescent devices显示文摘In this work,we show that the spin dynamics of excitons can be dramatically altered by Maxwell magnetic field coupling,together with an ion-enhanced,low-internal-splitting-energy organic semiconducting emitter.By employing a unique,alternating current(AC)-driven organic electroluminescent(OEL)device architecture that optimizes this magnetic field coupling,almost complete control over the singlet-to-triplet ratio(from fluorescent to phosphorescent emission in a single device)is realized.We attribute this spin population control to magnetically sensitive polaron–spin pair intersystem crossings(ISCs)that can be directly manipulated through external driving conditions.As an illustration of the utility of this approach to spin-tailoring,we demonstrate a simple hybrid(double-layer)fluorescence–phosphorescence(F–P)device using a polyfluorene-based emitter with a strong external Zeeman effect and ion-induced long carrier diffusion.Remarkable control over de-excitation pathways is achieved by controlling the device-driving frequency,resulting in complete emission blue–red color tunability.Picosecond photoluminescence(PL)spectroscopy directly confirms that this color control derives from the magnetic manipulation of the singlet-totriplet ratios.These results may pave the way to far more exotic organic devices with magnetic-field-coupled organic systems that are poised to usher in an era of dynamic spintronics at room temperature.Junwei Xu Yue Cui Gregory M.Smith Peiyun Li Chaochao Dun Linqi Shao Yang Guo Hongzhi Wang Yonghua Chen David L.Carroll 2018Light(Science & Applications)2018,7,1:2
4Suppressing trap states and energy loss by optimizing vertical phase distribution through ternary strategy in organic solar cells显示文摘Suppressing the trap-state density and the energy loss via ternary strategy was demonstrated.Favorable vertical phase distribution with donors(acceptors)accumulated(depleted)at the interface of active layer and charge extraction layer can be obtained by introducing appropriate amount of polymer acceptor N2200 into the systems of PBDB-T:IT-M and PBDB-TF:Y6.In addition,N2200 is gradiently distributed in the vertical direction in the ternary blend film.Various measurements were carried out to study the effects of N2200 on the binary systems.It was found that the optimized morphology especially in vertical direction can significantly decrease the trap state density of the binary blend films,which is beneficial for the charge transport and collection.All these features enable an obvious decrease in charge recombination in both PBDB-T:IT-M and PBDB-TF:Y6 based organic solar cells(OSCs),and power conversion efficiencies(PCEs)of 12.5%and 16.42%were obtained for the ternary OSCs,respectively.This work indicates that it is an effective method to suppress the trap state density and thus improve the device performance through ternary strategy.Pengqing Bi Shaoqing Zhang Tong Xiao Minghuan Cui Zhihao Chen Junzhen Ren Chaochao Qin Guanghao Lu Xiaotao Hao Jianhui Hou 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,4:1
5Seaweed Fiber Fabricated with Agar Alkali-Free Extracted from Gracilaria lemaneiformis显示文摘The sulfate groups in agar structure played a good role in the formation of fiber.However,commercially available agar is usually extracted from red algae by alkali treatment to decrease the content of sulfate group for the purpose of high gel strength.In this paper,an alkali-free method of agar extraction from Gracilaria lemaneiformis was proposed for the wet-spinning purpose.This method is environmentally friendly,reduces the extraction steps,saves energy,and reduces the production cost of agar fiber.The improved agar preparation process not only has higher agar yield,but also has higher molecular weight and sulfate group content,which is beneficial to the preparation and forming of fiber and makes the fiber have higher mechanical strength and elongation.Therefore,this extraction technology has broad application prospect in the textile field.Yuzhi Wu Cunzhen Geng Chaochao Cui Zhefeng Xin Yanzhi Xia Zhixin Xue 2023Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,3:0
6Tuning coherent phonon dynamics in two-dimensional phenylethylammonium lead bromide perovskites显示文摘Organic-inorganic layered perovskites are two-dimensional quantum well layers in which the layers of lead halide octahedra are stacked between the organic cation layers.The packing geometry of the soft organic molecules and the stiff ionic crystals induce structural deformation of the inorganic octahedra,generating complex lattice dynamics.Especially,the dielectric confinement and ionic sublattice lead to strong coupling between the photogenerated excitons and the phonons from the polar lattice which intensively affects the properties for device applications.The anharmonicity and dynamic disorder from the organic cations participate in the relaxation dynamics coupled with excitations.However,a detailed understanding of this underlying mechanism remains obscure.This work investigates the electron–optical phonon coupling dynamics by employing ultrafast pump-probe transient absorption spectroscopy.The activated different optical phonon modes are observed via systematic studies of(PEA)_(2)PbBr_(4) perovskite films on the ultrafast lattice vibrational dynamics.The experimental results indicate that solvent engineering has a significant influence on lattice vibrational modes and coherent phonon dynamics.This work provides fresh insights into electron-optical phonon coupling for emergent optoelectronics development based on layered perovskites.Minghuan Cui Chaochao Qin Zhongpo Zhou Yuanzhi Jiang Shichen Zhang Zeye Yuan Mingjian Yuan Kun Yu Yuhai Jiang Yufang Liu 2023Nano Research2023,16,2:0
