| 2 | Paleozoic and Mesozoic Basement Magmatisms of Eastern Qaidam Basin,Northern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau:LA-ICP-MS Zircon U-Pb Geochronology and its Geological Significance显示文摘The eastern margin of the Qaidam Basin lies in the key tectonic location connecting the Qinling,Qilian and East Kunlun orogens.The paper presents an investigation and analysis of the geologic structures of the area and LA-ICP MS zircon U-Pb dating of Paleozoic and Mesozoic magmatisms of granitoids in the basement of the eastern Qaidam Basin on the basis of 16 granitoid samples collected from the South Qilian Mountains,the Qaidam Basin basement and the East Kunlun Mountains.According to the results in this paper,the basement of the basin,from the northern margin of the Qaidam Basin to the East Kunlun Mountains,has experienced at least three periods of intrusive activities of granitoids since the Early Paleozoic,i.e.the magmatisms occurring in the Late Cambrian(493.1±4.9 Ma),the Silurian(422.9±8.0 Ma-420.4±4.6 Ma) and the Late Permian-Middle Triassic(257.8±4.0 Ma-228.8±1.5 Ma),respectively.Among them,the Late Permian-Middle Triassic granitoids form the main components of the basement of the basin.The statistics of dated zircons in this paper shows the intrusive magmatic activities in the basement of the basin have three peak ages of 244 Ma(main),418 Ma,and 493 Ma respectively.The dating results reveal that the Early Paleozoic magmatism of granitoids mainly occurred on the northern margin of the Qaidam Basin and the southern margin of the Qilian Mountains,with only weak indications in the East Kunlun Mountains.However,the distribution of Permo-Triassic(P-T) granitoids occupied across the whole basement of the eastern Qaidam Basin from the southern margin of the Qilian Mountains to the East Kunlun Mountains.An integrated analysis of the age distribution of P-T granitoids in the Qaidam Basin and its surrounding mountains shows that the earliest P-T magmatism(293.6-270 Ma) occurred in the northwestern part of the basin and expanded eastwards and southwards,resulting in the P-T intrusive magmatism that ran through the whole basin basement.As the Cenozoic basement thrust system developed in the eastern Qaidam Basin,the nearly N-S-trending shortening and deformation in the basement of the basin tended to intensify from west to east,which went contrary to the distribution trend of N-S-trending shortening and deformation in the Cenozoic cover of the basin,reflecting that there was a transformation of shortening and thickening of Cenozoic crust between the eastern and western parts of the Qaidam Basin,i.e.,the crustal shortening of eastern Qaidam was dominated by the basement deformation(triggered at the middle and lower crust),whereas that of western Qaidam was mainly by folding and thrusting of the sedimentary cover(the upper crust). | CHEN Xuanhua George GEHRELS YIN An LI Li JIANG Rongbao | 2012 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2012,86,2: | 32 |

| 11 | Corrosion resistance of in-situ growth of nano-sized Mg(OH)2 on micro-arc oxidized magnesium alloy AZ31—Influence of EDTA显示文摘One of the major obstacles for the clinical use of biodegradable magnesium(Mg)-based materials is their high corrosion rate. Micro-arc oxidation(MAO) coatings on Mg alloys provide mild corrosion protection owing to their porous structure. Hence, in this study a dense Mg(OH)2 film was fabricated on MAO-coated Mg alloy AZ31 in an alkaline electrolyte containing ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid disodium(EDTA-2 Na) to reinforce the protection. Surface morphology, chemical composition and growth process of the MAO/Mg(OH)2 hybrid coating were examined using field-emission scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer, X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer. Corrosion resistance of the coatings was evaluated via potentiodynamic polarization curves and hydrogen evolution tests. Results manifested that the Mg(OH)2 coating possesses a porous nano-sized structure and completely seals the micro-pores and micro-cracks of the MAO coating.The intermetallic compound of AlMn phase in the substrate plays a key role in the growth of Mg(OH)2 film. The current density of Mg(OH)2-MAO composite coating decreases three orders of magnitude in comparison with that of bare substrate, indicating excellent corrosion resistance. | 14 | Cytotoxic genes from traditional Chinese medicine inhibit tumor growth both in vitro and in vivo显示文摘OBJECTIVE: Little effort has been made to study the protein-encoding genes isolated from traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) drugs, and the delivery of these genes into malignant cells through recombinant adeno-associated virus(r AAV) vectors has not been attempted. METHODS: We synthesized the c DNAs of five known cytotoxic proteins isolated from TCM drugs and the FLAG epitope-tagged c DNAs were subcloned into a r AAV plasmid vector. The protein expression was confi rmed by Western blot assay. Various cancer cell lines were transfected with the above plasmids and cell growth was monitored both in vitro and in vivo. The best cytotoxic gene was further packaged into r AAV vectors, under the control of a liver cancer-specifi c promoter. The liver tumor growth was then monitored following intratumor administration of the r AAV vectors.RESULTS: The expression plasmids, encoding individual potential cytotoxic genes tagged with FLAG epitope, were successfully generated and sequenced. Among these genes, trichosanthin(TCS) gene yielded the most promising results for the inhibition of cancer cell growth in vitro. The over-expressed TCS functioned as a type I ribosome-inactivating protein, followed by inducing apoptosis that is associated with the Bcl-PARP signaling pathway. | 18 | Research on the feature extraction of DC space charge behavior of oil-paper insulation显示文摘As the ultra high DC voltage grid comes into an important stage in the ‘Twelfth Five-year Plan’ of China, the requirement on the operation safety of power equipment needs to be improved. Oil-paper insulation plays a significant role as the main insulation material of many key power equipments. The space charge behaviors of oil-paper insulation not only affect the dielectric strength, but also relate to the stability and security of power transmission facilities. Until now, the research on the space charge behaviors of oil-paper insulation remains on the stage of objective description and phenomenon explanation, thus it is very urgent to make some feature extractions on the test results in order to further investigate the DC space charge behaviors of oil-paper insulation. In this paper, based on the large numbers of test data in the first stage, data mining and feature extractions were performed on the DC space charge behavior of oil-paper insulation. The variation laws of some key characteristic parameters obtained in different experiment conditions such as the total charge injection amount, apparent charge mobility, and trap energy distribution were analyzed. In addition, the distribution of trapping level inside oil-paper was calculated by using the PEA test results based on the mechanism of the isothermal decay current, which realized the approximate calculation of trap depth by charge decay characteristics. What’s more, the exponential injection and decay equations of DC space charge changing with time were acquired for the first time, and the physical meanings of related parameters were defined.
