| 1 | The electromagnetic wave experiment for CSES mission: Search coil magnetometer显示文摘The seismic activities on the Earth can produce a disturbance of the electromagnetic field and particles in the ionosphere. The search coil magnetometer(SCM) mounted on China Seismo-Electromagnetic satellite(CSES) is designed to measure the magnetic field fluctuation of low frequency electromagnetic waves in the frequency range of 10 Hz–20 k Hz. The SCM comprises a three-axis search coil sensor mounted on a 4.5 m boom and an electronic box inside satellite module. The sampling rate of the SCM is 51.2 k Hz and the time resolution of the power spectrum density(PSD) is 2 s. The frequency resolution is 12.5 Hz.There are three operation modes: survey, detailed survey and calibration. In the survey mode, the SCM can provide a PSD in the whole frequency range of 10 Hz–20 k Hz and wave forms in the low frequency range below 2 k Hz while in the detailed survey mode the SCM can provide both PSD and wave forms in the whole frequency range of 10 Hz–20 k Hz. The sensitivity of the SCM instrument is 5.0×10^(-4) n T Hz^(-1/2) at 10 Hz, 5.0×10^(–5) n T Hz^(-1/2) at 200 Hz, 3.4×10^(-5) n T Hz^(-1/2) at 2 k Hz and 1.1×10^(-4) n T Hz^(-1/2) at 20 k Hz. The telemetry rate is ~0.85 Mbps in the survey mode and ~3.0 Mbps in the detailed survey mode. The phase difference between three axes can be made generally with a precision of less than 1.0°. The dynamic range of the SCM instrument is over 100 d B. The orthogonality of three mechanical axes of search coil senor is better than 0.13°. | 2 | Chain-type wireless sensor network node scheduling strategy显示文摘In order to reduce power consumption of sensor nodes and extend network survival time in the wireless sensor network(WSN), sensor nodes are scheduled in an active or dormant mode. A chain-type WSN is fundamentally different from other types of WSNs, in which the sensor nodes are deployed along elongated geographic areas and form a chain-type network topology structure. This paper investigates the node scheduling problem in the chain-type WSN. Firstly, a node dormant scheduling mode is analyzed theoretically from geographic coverage, and then three neighboring nodes scheduling criteria are proposed. Secondly, a hybrid coverage scheduling algorithm and dead areas are presented. Finally, node scheduling in mine tunnel WSN with uniform deployment(UD), non-uniform deployment(NUD) and optimal distribution point spacing(ODS) is simulated. The results show that the node scheduling with UD and NUD, especially NUD,can effectively extend the network survival time. | 3 | Application of digital pattern-less molding technology to produce art casting显示文摘Compared with the conventional casting process, digital pattern-less casting technology has many advantages such as good machining accuracy, a short processing cycle, and low production cost. It is a new rapid manufacturing technology for castings, integrated with CAD/CAM, casting, CNC machining and many other advanced technologies. With this digital casting technology, no pattern is needed for making molds; it is precise, f lexible, and green. Usually, art castings have complex structures and are made in small batches or even made in a single-piece, especially for large-sized art castings. So it has the shortcomings of high cost, low eff iciency and long time for making a pattern to produce art castings with the conventional casting processes. However, the digital pattern-less casting technology can be applied to fabricate art castings, since it can greatly shorten the manufacturing cycle and lower the production cost, thus having a very good prospect. | 5 | A Landscape Pattern Analysis Method Based on Boundaries and Nodes:A Case Study in Upper Minjiang River,China显示文摘Traditionally,patch-based analysis at the landscape scale fragmentation has been used in the study of landscape ecology while the study of boundary and node has not been considered as much detail until recently.This study investigated the possibility of applying boundary-and node-based methods in landscape pattern analysis to the upper reaches of the Minjiang River in the southwestern China.Boundary-based and node-based landscape indices were selected to be used in analyzing changes in landscape patterns,and the results were compared with analysis using traditional pattern indices.We compared the responses of patch-area-based,boundary-length-based and node-number-based indices,and concluded that boundary-based and node-based indices are more sensitive to disturbance than patch-based indices with various patterns,and node-based indices are even more sensitive than boundary-based ones.Thus,the results suggest that boundary-based and node-based pattern analysis methods provide helpful supplementary information to traditional patch-based pattern analysis methods.The results about pattern dynamics of landscapes in the upper reaches of the Minjiang River based on boundaries and nodes showed that with human disturbance,the dominance of forest landscape was weakened by other landscape types;thus the landscape pattern of the study area became more homogeneous and the boundary network became more complex.These changes further augmented disturbance interfaces in the landscape and increased the possibilities of further landscape fragmentation. | WEN Qingchun LI Xiuzhen HE Hongshi HU Yuanman CHEN Xin CHANG Yu WANG Wei BU Rencang | 2014 | Chinese Geographical Science2014,24,1: | 3 |
| 6 | Compositional heterogeneity of crude oil and its origin in the Linnan subsag,Linyi County,Shandong Province显示文摘The Linnan subsag is the main oil producer of the Linpan oil zone. Based on the oil group composition,gas chromatography data and biomarker analysis,it was indicated that crude oils from different oilfields varied greatly in group composition and showed obvious heterogeneities in the aspects of precursor type,crude oil maturity and hydrocarbon depositional environment. According to the characteristics of source rocks,three oil populations can be distinguished,i.e.,the southern,northern and transitional oil populations. Furthermore,on the basis of post-reservoir reworking processes,the medium conditions of hydrocarbon-generating environment and differences in maturity,six oil families and twelve sub-families were distinquished. | 7 | Volumetric modulation arc radiotherapy with flattening filter-free beams compared with conventional beams for nasopharyngeal carcinoma:a feasibility study显示文摘There is increasing interest in the clinical use of flattening filter-free(FFF) beams.In this study,we aimed to investigate the dosimetric characteristics of volumetric modulated arc radiotherapy(VMAT) with FFF beams for nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC).Ten NPC patients were randomly selected to undergo a RapidArc plan with either FFF beams(RA-FFF) or conventional beams(RA-C).The doses to the planning target volumes(PTVs),organs at risk(OARs),and normal tissues were compared.The technical delivery parameters for RapidArc plans were also assessed to compare the characteristics of FFF and conventional beams.Both techniques delivered adequate doses to PTVs.For PTVs,RA-C delivered lower maximum and mean doses and improved conformity and homogeneity compared with RA-FFF.Both techniques provided similar maximum doses to the optic nerves and lenses.For the brain stem,spinal cord,larynx,parotid glands,oral cavity,and skin,RA-FFF showed significant dose increases compared to RA-C.The dose to normal tissue was lower in RA-FFF.The monitor units(MUs) were(536 ± 46) MU for RA-FFF and(501± 25) MU for RA-C.The treatment duration did not significantly differbetween plans.Although both treatment plans could meet clinical needs,RA-C is dosimetrically superior to RA-FFF for NPC radiotherapy. | Mingzan Zhuang Tuodan Zhang Zhijian Chen Zhixiong Lin Derui Li Xun Peng Qingchun Qiu Renhua Wu | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Cancer2013,32,7: | 3 |

| 9 | Acoustic emission source location method and experimental verification for structures containing unknown empty areas显示文摘Acoustic emission(AE)localization plays an important role in the prediction and control of potential hazardous sources in complex structures.However,existing location methods have less discussion on the presence of unknown empty areas.This paper proposes an AE source location method for structures containing unknown empty areas(SUEA).Firstly,this method identifies the shape,size,and location of empty areas in the unknown region by exciting the active AE sources and using the collected AE arrivals.Then,the unknown AE source can be located considering the identified empty areas.The lead break experiments were performed to verify the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed method.Five specimens were selected containing empty areas with different positions,shapes,and sizes.Results show the average location accuracy of the SUEA increased by 78%compared to the results of the existing method.It can provide a more accurate solution for locating AE sources in complex structures containing unknown empty areas such as tunnels,bridges,railroads,and caves in practical engineering. | Longjun Dong Qing Tao Qingchun Hu Sijia Deng Yongchao Chen Qiaomu Luo Xihong Zhang | 2022 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2022,32,3: | 2 |
| 10 | Evaluation of cerebrovascular reactivity by ultrasonography in type 2 diabetic patients with hypertension显示文摘BACKGROUND: Cerebrovascular reactivity (CVR) reflects cerebrovascular reserve capacity, and cerebrovascular reactivity damage prognosticates a very high risk of stroke. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate CVR by detecting the increase rate of blood flow volume of middle cerebral artery (MCA) before and after breathholding in diabetic patients with hypertension, and observe the effects of hypertension on cerebrovascular reserve capacity of diabetic patients. DESIGN: Controlled observation. SETTINGS: Department of Function, Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University; Department of Special Diagnosis, the 202 Hospital of Chinese PLA. PARTICIPANTS: Inpatients or outpatients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) or primary hypertension admitted to Departments of Gastroenterology and Cardiology, Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University and the 202 Hospital of Chinese PLA from April to December 2004 were involved in this experiment. Inclusive criteria: type 2 DM met the criteria of the report on diabetes diagnosis announced in 1999 by WHO expert committee, totally 88 patients were involved. Primary hypertension met the diagnosis criteria announced in 1999 by WHO/ISH, totally 42 patients were involved. Another group of 43 concurrent subjects who received physical examination served as controls. According to the disease condition, the involved patients were assigned into 3 groups: DM group (only diabetic patients), hypertension group (only hypertension patients) and DM complicated with hypertension group (diabetic patients with hypertension). Informed consent for the examination was obtained from all the involved subjects. METHODS: Before MCA of subjects was detected, bilateral carotid artery was routinely detected by high-frequency ultrasonography. Subjects were rejected when stenosis rate of unilateral internal carotid artery or common carotid artery ≥ 70%. Vessels were expanded with transcranial color Duplex Doppler by breath holding test for detecting vascular reactivity. Hypercapnia was created by BHT. The mean velocity and diameter of blood flow were detected under the quiescent condition and 25 s after breath holding with transcranial color-coded duplex sonography. The volume of blood flow of MCA was calculated according to the following formula: Volume of blood flow of MCA (mL/ min) = (the diameter of blood flow /2) 2×π× mean blood flow velocity×60. The increase rates of mean blood flow velocity and blood flow volume of patients with hypercapnia were calculated as compared with under the quiescent condition to evaluate cerebrovascular reactivity. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Mean blood flow velocity, blood flow diameter and MCA blood flow volume as well as the increase rates of them. RESULTS: Among the 173 participates, 103 patients and 39 healthy controls were involved in the final analysis, and the other 31 dropped out due to not accomplishing the examination. ①Comparison of blood flow parameter of MCA under the quiescent condition: The mean blood flow velocity of DM complicated by hypertension group was significantly higher than that of DM group (P < 0.05) and control group (P < 0.05); The blood flow diameter of DM complicated by hypertension group was significantly smaller than that of control group (P < 0.01). Under the quiescent condition, significant difference was not found in the intergroup comparison of blood flow volume of MCA. ② Comparison of increase rate of blood flow parameter: In the DM group, hypertension group, DM complicated by hypertension group and control group, the increase rate of mean blood flow velocity of was (29.34±4.50)%,(29.35±4.35)%,(26.68±4.99)% and (30.99±3.54)%, respectively, the increase rate of blood flow volume of MCA was (35.32±5.08)%, (35.36±6.16)%,(31.78±7.11)% and(37.26±4.17)%, respectively, and the increase rate of blood flow diameter was (2.29±1.09)%,(2.27±0.95)%,(1.97±1.05)% and(2.36±0.46)%, respectively. The increase rate of mean blood flow velocity and that of blood flow volume of MCA in the DM complicated byhypertension group were significantly lower than those in the other 3 groups (P < 0.05). | 12 | Fabricating of Open-cell Porous Al-Si Alloy with Pressure Penetration Casting显示文摘Open-cell porous Al alloy was fabricated by pressure penetration casting. The fabrication ofpreform was studied in detail. When forming temperature is about 700℃ and binder contentis about 10%, preform with high compressive strength is obtained. Good porous Al alloy withpore size (0.5-1.6 mm) and porosity (60%-80%) can be obtained under 100℃ superheatingof liquid metal and about 1.0 MPa applied pressure. The size of the largest sample is up to100 mm in diameter and 100 mm in height. With the help of SEM it was found that the obtainedmaterial is a three-dimension open-cell porous structure with well-distributed and connected witheach other pores.
