| 2 | The Relationship Between Neuroimmunity and Bipolar Disorder:Mechanism and Translational Application显示文摘Neuroimmune system may be involved in the pathological process of bipolar disorder(BD),but the essential association is not fully understood.Accumulating evidence has shown that BD involves the activation of immune cells and the release of inflammatory substances in the central nerve system(CNS).Meanwhile,neuroimmune responses also interact with other hypothesis of the etiology of BD that are widely recognized,such as neurotransmitter systems,neuroendocrine systems,neurotrophic factors,and oxidative stress.Simultaneously,related genes and immune changes in peripheral blood vary with it.Overall,neuroimmunity may play an important role in the pathogenesis of BD,and the inflammatory cytokines,especially interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor-alpha,have potential value for the clinical diagnosis and prognosis of BD,as well as predicting the therapeutic effects of drugs.Large-scale studies are needed to extend the evidence on neuroimmunity in BD,and to examine its clinical value for applications such as early prediction and treatment. | Zhiang Niu Lu Yang Xiaohui Wu Yuncheng Zhu Jun Chen Yiru Fang | 2019 | Neuroscience Bulletin2019,35,4: | 8 |

| 5 | Atypical features and treatment choices in bipolar disorders:a result of the National Bipolar Mania Pathway Survey in China显示文摘In this study,we examined the point prevalence rate of atypical features in bipolar disorder,and estimated the potential impact of these features on treatment practices in China. Using the atypical features criteria of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the American Psychiatric Association(DSM-IV),we documented the atypical symptoms in 3 906 consecutive participants with bipolar disorder enrolled at 26 psychiatric services across China. We further assessed the association between atypical features and the treatment approaches,including the prescription of antidepressants. The overall point prevalence rate of atypical features was 9.1% among patients with various bipolar disorder subtypes. When the definition was broadened to include atypical features B,the overall rate increased to 11.8%. Interestingly,among patients with the mixed state and remission subtypes,there was a significant difference in the rates of antidepressant medication usage between patients who met and those who did not meet the criteria for atypical features B. These fi ndings indicate a trend of using antidepressants for these two types of patients with atypical features. Further,for both mixed state and remission patients,treatment approaches were related to atypicalfeatures B. However, the inherent bottlenecks, such as the low explosion of active sites, limit the application of bulk TMOs catalyst. In this study, V_(2)O_(5) nanoparticles with oxygen vacancies were prepared in large-scale via facile ball milling strategy with adding oxalic acid as a reducing agent. The as-prepared catalysts exhibit remarkable sulfur removal for oils with different initial S-concentrations and different substrates. Sulfur removal could reach up to 99.7%(< 2 ppm) under the optimized reaction conditions. | 19 | Three dimensional phytic acid-induced graphene as a solid-phase microextraction fiber coating and its analytical applications for nerolidol in tea显示文摘In this work, three dimensional phytic acid-induced graphene coating was prepared by hydrothermal synthesis and fabricated on a stainless-steel wire using physical coating method as a solid phase microextraction(SPME) coating. The graphene coating revealed high specific surface area, extraordinary electrical conductivity and excellent chemical stability. Coupled with gas chromatography-flame ionization detector(GC-FID), the home-made phytic acid-induced graphene SPME fiber exhibited excellent extraction efficiency for the analysis of nerolidol in tea samples. Under the optimized conditions, the linear range of working curve was found to be 1-1000 ng/g, and the limit of detection of nerolidol was 0.18 ng/g. | 20 | Correlates of extinction risk in Chinese endemic birds显示文摘Background: China has a relative high degree of endemism of birds due to its large area, diversified topography, and varied climates and habitats. Among the 77 Chinese endemic birds, 29 species are classified as threatened according to the officially released China Biodiversity Red List in 2015. Chinese endemic birds should be the focus of conservation because their local extinction in China means complete global extinction. However, to date, no study has explicitly examined the patterns and processes of extinction and threat in Chinese endemic birds. Methods: We obtained eleven biological traits and four extrinsic factors that are commonly hypothesized to influence extinction risk. After phylogenetic correction, these factors were used separately and in combination to assess their associations with extinction risk. Results: We found that 37.7% of Chinese endemic birds were listed as threatened (Vulnerable, Endangered and Critically Endangered). Small range size, high hunting vulnerability, and high human population density were important predictors of high extinction risk in Chinese endemic birds. Conclusions: Our study is the first to systematically investigate the patterns and processes of extinction risk in Chinese endemic birds. We suggest that endemic species with small range size and living in area with high human densities require conservation priorities.
