1PULSED Nd-YAG LASER WELDING OF AN AI-SiC_p METAL MATRIX COMPOSITE显示文摘A study is presented of the laser welding behaviour of an SiC particulate re-inforced Al-alloy comPOsite using a pulsed Nd-YAG laser. The influences of laser weldingparameters of laser intensity, pulse duration and the beamjs focus position on the depth ofweld penetration as well as the size of weld bead width were investigated. A typical mi-crostructure of a weld section reveals that the three distinct zones are present. Cracks andporosity were fOund to be two major defects in laser welded metal matrix composites(MMC). 4Nuclear RIPK1 promotes chromatin remodeling to mediate inflammatory response显示文摘RIPK1 is a master regulator of multiple cell death pathways,including apoptosis and necroptosis,and inflammation.Importantly,activation of RIPK1 has also been shown to promote the transcriptional induction of proinflammatory cytokines in cells undergoing necroptosis,in animal models of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS)and Alzheimer's disease(AD),and in human ALS and AD.Rare human genetic carriers of non-cleavable RIPK1 variants(D324V and D324H)exhibit distinct symptoms of recurrent fevers and increased transcription of proinflammatory cytokines.Multiple RIPK1 inhibitors have been advanced into human clinical trials as new therapeutics for human inflammatory and neurodegenerative diseases,such as ALS and AD.However,it is unclear whether and how RIPK1 kinase activity directly mediates inflammation independent of cell death as the nuclear function of RIPK1 has not yet been explored.Here we show that nuclear RIPK1 is physically associated with the BAF complex.Upon RIPK1 activation,the RIPK1/BAF complex is recruited by specific transcription factors to active enhancers and promoters marked by H3K4me1 and H3K27ac.Activated nuclear RIPK1 mediates the phosphorylation of SMARCC2,a key component of the BAF complex,to promote chromatin remodeling and the transcription of specific proinflammatory genes.Increased nuclear RIPK1 activation and RIPK1/BAF-mediated chromati n-remodeling activity were found in cells expressi ng non-cleavable RIPK1,and in creased enrichment of activated RIPK1 on active enhancers and promoters was found in an animal model and human pathological samples of ALS.Our results suggest that RIPK1 kinase serves as a transcriptional coregulator in nucleus that can transmit extracellular stimuli to the BAF complex to modulate chromatin accessibility and directly regulate the transcription of specific genes involved in mediating inflammatory resp onses.Wanjin Li Bing Shan Chengyu Zou Huibing Wang Meng-Meng Zhang Hong Zhu Masanori Gomi Naito Daichao Xu Vica Jean Manuel Lauren Mifflin Zhaodong Hou John Ravits Junying Yuan 2022Cell Research2022,32,7:1

9The 2009 pandemic A/Wenshan/01/2009 H1N1 induces apoptotic cell death in human airway epithelial cells显示文摘In 2009,a novel swine-origin H1N1 influenza virus emerged in Mexico and quickly spread to other countries,including China.This 2009 pandemic H1N1 can cause human respiratory disease,but its pathogenesis remains poorly understood.Here,we studied the infection and pathogenesis of a new 2009 pandemic strain,A/Wenshan/01/2009 H1N1,in China in human airway epithelial cell lines compared with contemporary seasonal H1N1 influenza virus.Our results showed that viral infection by the A/Wenshan H1N1 induced significant apoptotic cell death in both the human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line CNE-2Z and the human lung adenocarcinoma cell line A549.The A/Wenshan H1N1 virus enters both of these cell types more efficiently than the seasonal influenza virus.Viral entry in both cell lines was shown to be mediated by clathrin-and dynamin-dependent endocytosis.Therefore,we discovered that the 2009 pandemic H1N1 strain,A/Wenshan/01/2009,can induce apoptotic cell death in epithelial cells of the human respiratory tract,suggesting a molecular pathogenesis for the 2009 pandemic H1N1.Ning Yang Xiaoxu Hong Penghui Yang Xiangwu Ju Yuguo Wang Jun Tang Chenggang Li Quanshui Fan Fuqiang Zhang Zhongwei Chen Li Xing Zhongpeng Zhao Xiao Gao Guoyang Liao Qihan Li Xiliang Wang Dangsheng Li Chengyu Jiang 2011Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2011,3,4:0
10Highly efficient and stable electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution by molybdenum doped Ni-Co phosphide nanoneedles at high current density显示文摘There is an increasingly urgent need to develop cost-effective electrocatalysts with high catalytic activity and stability as alternatives to the traditional Pt/C in catalysts in water electrolysis.In this study,microspheres composed of Mo-doped NiCoP nanoneedles supported on nickel foam were prepared to address this challenge.The results show that the nanoneedles provide sufficient active sites for efficient electron transfer;the small-sized effect and the micro-scale roughness enhance the entry of reactants and the release of hydrogen bubbles;the Mo doping effectively improves the electrocatalytic performance of NiCoP in alkaline media.The catalyst exhibits low hydrogen evolution overpotentials of 38.5 and 217.5 mV at a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2) and high current density of 500 mA·cm^(-2),respectively,and only 1.978 V is required to achieve a current density of 1000 mA·cm^(-2) for overall water splitting.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations show that the improved hydrogen evolution performance can be explained as a result of the Mo doping,which serves to reduce the interaction between NiCoP and intermediates,optimize the Gibbs free energy of hydrogen adsorption(△G_(*H)),and accelerate the desorption rate of *OH.This study provides a promising solution to the ongoing challenge of designing efficient electrocatalysts for high-current-density hydrogen production.Chengyu Huang Zhonghong Xia Jing Wang Jing Zhang Chenfei Zhao Xingli Zou Shichun Mu Jiujun Zhang Xionggang Lu Hong Jin Fan Shengjuan Huo Yufeng Zhao 2024Nano Research2024,17,3:0
11A continuum method for granular collapse with μ(I)-rheology-based dynamic earth pressure coefficient显示文摘In this paper,a continuum model with dynamic earth pressure coefficient is established to describe the granular slump process by introducingμ(I)rheology.This rheology is adopted to quantify the normal stresses in our proposed model rather than shear stresses in classical models.The constitutive laws of different depth-averaged continuum approaches including the hydrodynamic,Savage–Hutter and proposed models are comparatively investigated in terms of the rheological effects on the spread of a granular column.The simulation results indicate that the proposed dynamic model captures some significant features during granular slump on inclined planes with different inclination angles(for example,the runout distance,runout time,and final profile).The proposed model can also reproduce the inner static sided axisymmetric region observed in tests when the granular column's initial aspect ratio(ratio of height to radii)is small.Jianbo Fei Yuxin Jie Hao Xiong Chengyu Hong 2021Particuology2021,19,5:0

13Crosslink-enhanced strategy to achieve multicolor long-lived room temperature phosphorescent films with excellent photostability显示文摘Room temperature phosphorescence(RTP)films have recently attracted increasing attention due to their excellent luminescent properties for information encryption,optoelectronic devices,and sensors.However,polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)films with abundant hydrogen bonds to suppress triplet energy dissipation suffered from the humidity induced phosphorescence quenching under storage in the air for a long time.In this work,poly(acrylic acid)(PAA)was selected to crosslink PVA matrix through esterification reactions for preparing water resistant RTP films.The blue,cyan,and orange emissive RTP films were successfully obtained by incorporating three different organic compounds into PVA-PAA crosslinking films.Crosslinking strategy significantly improved the phosphorescence emissions of the doped films,and effectively blocked the absorption of water molecular,leading to the excellent photostability of the developed films.As a proof of concept,the white light phosphorescence film and anti-counterfeiting applications were successfully demonstrated.Taotao Li Yu Zheng Chenqin Wu Chengyu Yan Cheng Zhang Hong Gao Qian Chen Kui Zhang 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,9:0
14Multi-View & Transfer Learning for Epilepsy Recognition Based on EEG Signals显示文摘Epilepsy is a central nervous system disorder in which brain activity becomes abnormal.Electroencephalogram(EEG)signals,as recordings of brain activity,have been widely used for epilepsy recognition.To study epilep-tic EEG signals and develop artificial intelligence(AI)-assist recognition,a multi-view transfer learning(MVTL-LSR)algorithm based on least squares regression is proposed in this study.Compared with most existing multi-view transfer learning algorithms,MVTL-LSR has two merits:(1)Since traditional transfer learning algorithms leverage knowledge from different sources,which poses a significant risk to data privacy.Therefore,we develop a knowledge transfer mechanism that can protect the security of source domain data while guaranteeing performance.(2)When utilizing multi-view data,we embed view weighting and manifold regularization into the transfer framework to measure the views’strengths and weaknesses and improve generalization ability.In the experimental studies,12 different simulated multi-view&transfer scenarios are constructed from epileptic EEG signals licensed and provided by the Uni-versity of Bonn,Germany.Extensive experimental results show that MVTL-LSR outperforms baselines.The source code will be available on http://gffzz188fe103f8f1460asv5bufxfxnqpo6vqn.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/didid5/MVTL-LSR.Jiali Wang Bing Li Chengyu Qiu Xinyun Zhang Yuting Cheng Peihua Wang Ta Zhou Hong Ge Yuanpeng Zhang Jing Cai 2023Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,6:0
15Cancer-macrophage hybrid membrane-camouflaged photochlor for enhanced sonodynamic therapy against triple-negative breast cancer显示文摘Sonodynamic therapy(SDT)has aroused considerable momentum in cancer therapy due to its abilities of deep penetration,low toxicity,and noninvasion,while insufficient tumor accumulation of sonosensitizers is a major obstacle for SDT effect.Here,we developed a 4T1 cancer cell-macrophage hybrid membrane(HM)-camouflaged sonosensitizer nanoplatform by encapsulating photochlor(HPPH)-loaded albumin nanoparticles(PHNPs).The experimental results proved that the HM-coated biomimetic NPs(PHNPs@HM)could express the characteristic membrane proteins of both cancer cells and macrophages,remarkedly enhancing the effective targeting and endocytosis to 4T1 cells through homologous adhesion recognition and immune escaping.Meanwhile,as a novel sonosensitizer,HPPH could generate amount of reactive oxygen species(ROS)under ultrasound(US)irradiation and exhibit obvious SDT efficiency to inhibit 4T1 tumor growth through ROS-induced cell apoptosis.This study provides a novel and multifunctional biomimetic sonosensitizer system to enhance SDT efficiency.Lishan Zhang Ting Yin Baozhen Zhang Chong Yan Chengyu Lu Lanlan Liu Ze Chen Hui Ran Qingxia Shi Hong Pan Aiqing Ma Lintao Cai 2022Nano Research2022,15,5:0
