1Theoretical and simulation research of hydrodynamic instabilities in inertial-confinement fusion implosions显示文摘Inertial fusion energy(IFE)has been considered a promising,nearly inexhaustible source of sustainable carbon-free power for the world's energy future.It has long been recognized that the control of hydrodynamic instabilities is of critical importance for ignition and high-gain in the inertial-confinement fusion(ICF)hot-spot ignition scheme.In this mini-review,we summarize the progress of theoretical and simulation research of hydrodynamic instabilities in the ICF central hot-spot implosion in our group over the past decade.In order to obtain sufficient understanding of the growth of hydrodynamic instabilities in ICF,we first decompose the problem into different stages according to the implosion physics processes.The decomposed essential physics processes that are associated with ICF implosions,such as Rayleigh-Taylor instability(RTI),Richtmyer-Meshkov instability(RMI),Kelvin-Helmholtz instability(KHI),convergent geometry effects,as well as perturbation feed-through are reviewed.Analytical models in planar,cylindrical,and spherical geometries have been established to study different physical aspects,including density-gradient,interface-coupling,geometry,and convergent effects.The influence of ablation in the presence of preheating on the RTI has been extensively studied by numerical simulations.The KHI considering the ablation effect has been discussed in detail for the first time.A series of single-mode ablative RTI experiments has been performed on the Shenguang-Ⅱlaser facility.The theoretical and simulation research provides us the physical insights of linear and weakly nonlinear growths,and nonlinear evolutions of the hydrodynamic instabilities in ICF implosions,which has directly supported the research of ICF ignition target design.The ICF hot-spot ignition implosion design that uses several controlling features,based on our current understanding of hydrodynamic instabilities,to address shell implosion stability,has been briefly described,several of which are novel.LiFeng Wang WenHua Ye XianTu He JunFeng Wu ZhengFeng Fan Chuang Xue HongYu Guo WenYong Miao YongTeng Yuan JiaQin Dong Guo Jia Jing Zhang YingJun Li Jie Liu Min Wang YongKun Ding WeiYan Zhang 2017Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2017,60,5:4
2Multi-Scale Convolutional Gated Recurrent Unit Networks for Tool Wear Prediction in Smart Manufacturing显示文摘As an integrated application of modern information technologies and artificial intelligence,Prognostic and Health Management(PHM)is important for machine health monitoring.Prediction of tool wear is one of the symbolic applications of PHM technology in modern manufacturing systems and industry.In this paper,a multi-scale Convolutional Gated Recurrent Unit network(MCGRU)is proposed to address raw sensory data for tool wear prediction.At the bottom of MCGRU,six parallel and independent branches with different kernel sizes are designed to form a multi-scale convolutional neural network,which augments the adaptability to features of different time scales.These features of different scales extracted from raw data are then fed into a Deep Gated Recurrent Unit network to capture long-term dependencies and learn significant representations.At the top of the MCGRU,a fully connected layer and a regression layer are built for cutting tool wear prediction.Two case studies are performed to verify the capability and effectiveness of the proposed MCGRU network and results show that MCGRU outperforms several state-of-the-art baseline models.Weixin Xu Huihui Miao Zhibin Zhao Jinxin Liu Chuang Sun Ruqiang Yan 2021Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2021,34,3:1
3Test on a buried pipe network subjected to an artificial earthquake produced by multi-millisecond blasting显示文摘Buried pipe networks are important components of lifeline systems.An experiment is conducted to test a buried pipe network subjected to an artificial earthquake produced by multi-millisecond blasting.The motivation of the research is to verify the feasibility of using multi-millisecond blasting to simulate earthquakes and to validate the deformation relationship between pipe and soil obtained in a single-point explosion test.Multiple explosives are used with a time-delay technique to create an extended period of loading on pipes.The dimension of the buried pipe network is 24 m×24 m.The artificial earthquake is produced by trinitrotoluene(TNT)charges.The pipe network consists of ductile cast iron(DCI)pipes,which represent a water distribution network,and welded steel(WS)pipes,which represent a gas supply network.Eighty-five kilograms of TNT charges,which are divided into three parts,are detonated by millisecond blasting.The ground motion of the test field,including the accelerations and velocities at different points,and the pipe dynamic responses,including the joint deformations of DCI pipes and the axial strains of WS pipes,are described in detail.Finally,the deformation law of buried pipe networks and the deformation relationship between pipe and soil are discussed.Liu Wei Miao Huiquan Wang Chuang Li Jie 2020Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2020,19,3:1

7Moxibustion regulates T-regulatory/T-helper 17 cell balance by modulating the microRNA-221/suppressor of cytokine signaling 3 axis in a mouse model of rheumatoid arthritis显示文摘Objective Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)progression is associated with the balance of T-regulatory(Treg)and T-helper 17(Th17)cells,while the role of microRNAs(miRs)in regulating Treg/Th17 cell balance has not been clarified.This study aimed to assess whether moxibustion could regulate Treg/Th17 cell balance by modulating the miR-221/suppressor of cytokine signaling 3(SOCS3)axis in the RA mouse model.Methods A mouse model of collagen-induced arthritis(CIA)was established in male DBA/1J mice.Twenty-two days after CIA induction,the mice received daily treatment with moxibustion for 12 times.Pathological scores were assessed according to the levels of synovial hyperplasia.The expression levels of cytokines interleukin(IL)-1β,IL-6,tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interferon-γ(IFN-γ),IL-17 and IL-10 were analyzed in serum by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.The cluster of differentiation 4(CD4+)splenocytes was analyzed by fluorescence-activated cell sorting.The expression levels of RA-related miRs and target genes were subsequently detected,and the target of miR-221 was confirmed by the dual-luciferase reporter assay.Results It was revealed that moxibustion treatment decreased the pathological scores and downregulated the expression levels of IL-1β,IL-6,TNF-α,IFN-γand IL-17,while upregulated the expression level of IL-10.The Treg/Th17 cell balance was regulated by moxibustion treatment.The expression level of miR-221 was suppressed by moxibustion treatment.Furthermore,SOCS3 was found as the direct target of miR-221,which mediated the function of moxibustion by regulating the Treg/Th17 cell balance.Conclusion Moxibustion therapy regulated the Treg/Th17 cell balance by modulating the miR-221/SOCS3 axis in the RA mouse model.Chuang Zhao Xiao-yan Li Zun-yuan Li Miao Li Zhi-dan Liu 2022Journal of Integrative Medicine2022,20,5:1
8Gelation Mechanism of Erythromycin Ethylsuccinate During Crystallization显示文摘In this paper, the gelation mechanism of erythromycin ethylsuccinate(EES) during crystallization is investigated for the first time. The generated semisolid gel-like phase exhibited a 3D fibrillar network morphology and the typical rheological properties of gels. The fibers inside the gel-like phase were confirmed to be new types of EES solvates using powder X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis/differential scanning calorimetry, and gas chromatography. The gelation and crystallization regions in EES-1-propanol solid–liquid phase diagram were determined. Analyses of solvent parameters showed that moderate solvent polarity may promote EES gelation. Fourier transform infrared spectra, nuclear magnetic resonance spectra, and scanning electron microscopy analyses indicated that through intermolecular hydrogen bonds, EES and solvent molecules assembled into fibers via crystallographic mismatch branching growth. 9Petroleum heteroatom compounds in various commercial delayed coking liquids: characterized by FT-ICR MS and GC techniques显示文摘Delayed coking is an important petroleum resid conversion process.The processability of coking liquids is known to be dependent on the heteroatom compounds present in the coking liquids.Eight commercial delayed coking liquids were characterized by electrospray ionization(ESI)Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry(ESI FT-ICR MS)and gas chromatographic techniques.High relatively abundant heteroatom compounds in the coking liquids were 1-4 aromatic-ring pyridinic nitrogen compounds,carbazoles,benzocarbazoles,phenols,mercaptans,benzothiophenes,dibenzothiophenes,and naphthobenzothiophenes.Coking liquids derived from various feeds had similar compound class types,molecular weight distribution ranges,and double bond equivalents(DBE).However,the concentration of individual compounds and the distribution of DBE versus carbon number of heteroatom compounds varied.A comparison of heteroatom compounds in coker feeds and products revealed the various reaction mechanism of heteroatom compounds occurred during the coking process.The results suggested that molecular-level process models can be developed for optimization of unit operation to obtain desirable products that meet the environmental specifications and quality requirements.Miao Hu Chuang Guo Linzhou Zhang Suoqi Zhao Keng H. 10Design of Ca-type todorokite catalysts with highly active for the selective reduction of NO_(x) by NH_(3) at low temperatures显示文摘Ca-type todorokite catalysts were designed and prepared by a simple redox method and applied to the selective reduction of NO_(x) by NH_(3)(NH_(3)-SCR)for the first time.Compared with the Na-type manjiroite prepared by the same method,the todorokite catalysts with different Mn/Ca ratios showed greatly improved catalytic activity for NO_(x) reduction.Among them,Mn8Ca4 catalyst exhibited the best NH_(3)-SCR performance,achieving 90%NO_(x) conversion within temperature range of 70-275℃ and having a high sulphur resistance.Compared to the Na-type manjiroite sample,Ca-type todorokite catalysts possessed an increased size of tunnel,resulting in a larger specific surface area.As increased the amounts of Ca doping,the Na content in Ca-type todorokite catalysts significantly decreased,providing larger amounts of Bronsted acid sites for NH_(3) adsorption to produce NH_(4)^(+).The NH_(4)^(+)species were highly active for reaction with NO+O_(2),playing a determining role in NH_(3)-SCR process at low temperatures.Meanwhile,larger amounts of surface adsorbed oxygen contained over the Ca-doping samples than that over Na-type manjiroite,promoting the oxidation of NO and fast SCR processes.Over the Ca-type todorokite catalysts,furthermore,nitrates produced during the flow of NO+O_(2),were more active for reaction with NH_(3) than that over Na-type manjiroite,benefiting the occurrence of NH_(3)-SCR process.This study provides novel insights into the design of NH_(3)-SCR catalysts with high performance.Chuang Chang Zidi Yan Chunlei Zhang Yanshuang Zhang Miao Jiang Luna Ruan Min Xiao Yunbo Yu Hong He 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,4:0
11Stat5^(−/−)CD4^(+)T cells elicit anti-melanoma effect by CD4^(+)T cell remolding and Notch1 activation显示文摘Signal transducers and activators of transcription 5(Stat5)is known to engage in regulating the differentiation and effector function of various subsets of T helper cells.However,how Stat5 regulates the antitumor activity of tumor-infiltrating CD4^(+)T cells is largely unknown.Here,we showed that mice with specific deletion of Stat5 in CD4^(+)T cells were less susceptible to developing subcutaneous and lung metastatic B16 melanoma with CD4^(+)tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes(TILs)remolding.Especially,we confirmed that Stat5-deficient CD4^(+)naïve T cells were prone to polarization of two subtypes of Th17 cells:IFN-γ^(+)and IFN-γ^(-)Th17 cells,which exhibited increased anti-melanoma activity through enhanced activation of Notch1 pathway compared with wild type Th17 cells.Our study therefore revealed a novel function of Stat5 in regulating tumor-specific Th17 cell differentiation and function in melanoma.This study also provided a new possibility for targeting Stat5 and other Th17-associated pathways to develop novel immunotherapies for melanoma patients.Ke Jin Tong Li Zhiyong Miao Jingjing Ran Luyu Chen Dachao Mou Chuang Wang Shasha Wu Hanshuo Yang Xin-Yuan Fu 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,9:0
