| 1 | Preparation and Performance of Salt Tolerance and Thermal Stability Cellulose Nanofibril Hydrogels and Their Application in Drilling Engineering显示文摘The poor salt tolerance,thermal stability,and environmental performance of petrochemicals can severely limit their applications in drilling engineering.In this study,cellulose nanofibril(CNF)hydrogels with improved salt tolerance and thermal stability were prepared,and their filtration performance was evaluated.The hydrogels were prepared through the simultaneous grafting of 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid(AMPS)and butyl acrylate(BA)onto the CNF surface through ceric ammoniumnitrate-induced radical polymerization.The modified and original CNF samples were characterized using Fourier Transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR)and rheological measurements.The FT-IR analysis results showed that both AMPS and BA were grafted onto the CNF backbone,affirming the successful preparation of the grafted CNFs.The rheological analysis results showed that the modified CNF hydrogels exhibited significantly improved salt tolerance,thermal stability,and“salt-thickening”effect.Moreover,the results of the fluid loss test showed that the modified CNF hydrogels exhibited a much better fluid loss control than the original CNF hydrogels.In addition,after adding 2%modified CNF hydrogels as a filtrate reducer in the drilling fluids prepared with a 6%combined salt solution,the filtrate loss was significantly reduced even after aging for 72 h at 160℃. | XiongLi Liu An Wang ChunPing Wang JiaLei Qu YangBing Wen Bin Chen ZhongGuang Wang BinBin Wu ZhaoYang Yuan Bing Wei | 2019 | Paper And Biomaterials2019,4,2: | 7 |
| 2 | High strength and ductility of 34CrNiMo6 steel produced by laser solid forming显示文摘Because of the excellent mechanical properties of 34 CrNiMo6 steel, it is widely used in high-value components. Many conventional approaches to strengthening-steels typically involve the loss of useful ductility.In this study, 34 CrNiMo6 Steel having high strength and ductility is produced by laser solid forming(LSF)with a quenching-tempering(QT) treatment. Tempering of bainite is mainly by solid phase transformation in the previous LSF layers during the LSF process. The stable microstructure of LSF consists of ferrite and fine carbides. The microstructure transfers to tempered sorbite after heat-treatment. The tensile properties of the LSF steel meet those of the wrought standard. The UTS and elongation of LSF sample at 858 MPa, 19.2%, respectively, are greater than those of the wrought. The QT treatment enhanced the ultimate tensile strength and yield strength of the LSF sample. The ultimate tensile strength, yield strength, reduction in area, and elongation of the LSF+QT sample at 980 MPa, 916 MPa, 58.9%, and 13.9%,respectively, are greater than those of the wrought standard. The yield strength of the LSF+QT sample is approximately 1.27 times that of the wrought. The LSF samples failed in a ductile fracture mode, while the LSF+QT samples showed mixed-mode failure. | 3 | Vision Based Hand Gesture Recognition Using 3D Shape Context显示文摘Hand gesture recognition is a popular topic in computer vision and makes human-computer interaction more flexible and convenient.The representation of hand gestures is critical for recognition.In this paper,we propose a new method to measure the similarity between hand gestures and exploit it for hand gesture recognition.The depth maps of hand gestures captured via the Kinect sensors are used in our method,where the 3D hand shapes can be segmented from the cluttered backgrounds.To extract the pattern of salient 3D shape features,we propose a new descriptor-3D Shape Context,for 3D hand gesture representation.The 3D Shape Context information of each 3D point is obtained in multiple scales because both local shape context and global shape distribution are necessary for recognition.The description of all the 3D points constructs the hand gesture representation,and hand gesture recognition is explored via dynamic time warping algorithm.Extensive experiments are conducted on multiple benchmark datasets.The experimental results verify that the proposed method is robust to noise,articulated variations,and rigid transformations.Our method outperforms state-of-the-art methods in the comparisons of accuracy and efficiency. | Chen Zhu Jianyu Yang Zhanpeng Shao Chunping Liu | 2021 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2021,8,9: | 5 |
| 4 | Generation and Analysis of Pathogenicity-related Gene Mutants of Colletotrichum gloeosporioides Using a Novel Promoter Trapping System显示文摘Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation(ATMT) is an efficient tool for insertional mutagenesis and is used in a wide variety of plants. This paper reports a promoter trapping method to generate mutants in the filamentous fungus,Colletotrichum gloeosporioides,by ATMT insertion of a trapping vector(pCAHPH) that carries a promoterless hygromycin phosphotransferase(hph) gene. Transformants were selected on the media containing 200 μg/mL hygromycin B,and screened for pathogenicity-related gene mutants. Their pathogenicity-related mutants T-DNA flanking sequences were then cloned and analyzed. Hph genes were amplified from mutant genomic DNA but not from wild-type DNA,indicating that the phenotypic alternations of these mutants were the results of T-DNA insertion. T-DNA flanking sequences were obtained using modified thermal asymmetric interlaced PCR. | 6 | miRNA-dysregulation associated with tenderness variation induced by acute stress in Angus cattle显示文摘miRNAs are a class of small, single-stranded, non-coding RNAs that perform post-transcriptional repression of target genes by binding to 3' untranslated regions. Research has found that miRNAs involved in the regulation of many metabolic processes. Here we uncovered that the beef quality of Angus cattle sharply diversified after acute stress. By performing miRNA microarray analysis, 13 miRNAs were significantly differentially expressed in stressed group compared to control group. Using a bioinformatics method, 135 protein-coding genes were predicted as the targets of significant differentially expressed miRNAs. | 9 | Enhanced nitrogen removal and microbial analysis in partially saturated constructed wetland for treating anaerobically digested swine waste water显示文摘Nitrogen removal of wastewater containing high-strength ammonium by the constructed wetlands (CWs) has been paid much attention. In this study, the ability of a partially saturated CW to treat anaerobically-digested decentralized swine wastewater under varying operating parameters from summer to winter was investigated. The partially saturated CW achieved better NH4^+-N and TN removal by tidal flow than intermittent flow. With surface loading rates of 0.108, 0.027, and 0.029 kg/(m^2·d) for COD, NH4^+-N, and TN, the partially saturated CW by tidal operation achieved corresponding removal efficiencies of 85.94%, 61.20%, and 57.41%, respectively, even at 10℃. When the rapid-adsorption of NH4^+-N and the bioregeneration of zeolites reached dynamically stable, the simultaneous nitrification and denitrification in the aerobic zeolite layer was observed and accounted for 58.82% of the total denitrification of CW. The results of Illumina high-throughput sequencing also indicated that nitnfiers (Nitrospira and Rhizomicrobiurri) and denitrifiers (Rhodanobacter and Thauera) simultaneously existed in the zeolite layer. The dominant existence of versatile organic degraders and nitrifiers/denitrifiers in the zeolite layer was related to the removal of most COD and nitrogen in this zone.
