2Liutex theoretical system and six core elements of vortex identification显示文摘The third-generation vortex identification method of Liutex(previously called Rortex)was introduced by the team led by Prof.Chaoqun Liu from University of Texas at Arlington to mathematically extract the rigid rotation part from the fluid motion,and thus to define and visualize vortices.Unlike the vorticity-based first generation and the scalar-valued second generation,Q,λ2,Δandλci methods for example,the Liutex vector provides a unique,mathematical and systematic way to define vortices and visualize vortical structures from multiple perspectives without ambiguity.In this article,we summarize the recent developments of the Liutex framework and discuss the Liutex theoretical system including its existence,uniqueness,stability,Galilean invariance,locality and globality,decomposition in tensor and vector forms,Liutex similarity in turbulence,and multiple Liutex-based vortex visualization methods including Liutex lines,Liutex magnitude iso-surfaces,Liutex-Ωmethod,and Liutex core line method,etc..Thereafter,the six core elements of vortex identification,including(1)absolute strength,(2)relative strength,(3)local rotational axis,(4)vortex rotation axes,(5)vortex core size,(6)vortex boundary,are used as touchstones against which the Liutex vortex identification system is examined.It is demonstrated with illustrative examples that the Liutex system is able to give complete and precise information of all six core elements in contrast to the failure and inaccuracy of the first and second-generation methods.The important concept that vorticity cannot represent vortex and the superiority of the Liutex system over previous methods are reiterated and stated in appropriate places throughout the paper.Finally,the article concludes with future perspectives,especially the application of the Liutex system in studying turbulence mechanisms encouraged by the discovery of Liutex similarity law.As a newly defined physical quantity,Liutex may open a door for quantified vortex and turbulence research including Liutex(vortex)dynamics and lead the community out of the shadow of turbulence research which traditionally relies on observations,graphics,assumptions,hypotheses,and other qualitative analyses.An optimistic projection is that the Liutex system could be critical to investigation of the vortex dynamics in applications from hydrodynamics,aerodynamics,oceanography,meteorology,etc.and to research of the generation,sustenance,modelling and controlling of turbulence.Yi-qian Wang Yi-sheng Gao Hongyi Xu Xiang-rui Dong Jian-ming Liu Wen-qian Xu Meng-long Chen Chaoqun Liu 2020Journal of Hydrodynamics2020,32,2:17
3Allele-aware chromosome-level genome assembly of Artemisia annua reveals the correlation between ADS expansion and artemisinin yield显示文摘Artemisia annua is the major natural source of artemisinin,an anti-malarial medicine commonly used worldwide.Here,we present chromosome-level haploid maps for two A.annua strains with different artemisinin contents to explore the relationships between genomic organization and artemisinin production.High-fidelity sequencing,optical mapping,and chromatin conformation capture sequencing were used to assemble the heterogeneous and repetitive genome and resolve the haplotypes of A.annua.Approximately 5o,ooo genes were annotated for each haplotype genome,and a triplication event that occurred approximately 58.12million years ago was examined for the first time in this species.A total of 3,903,467-5,193,414 variants(SNPs,indels,and structural variants)were identified in the 1.5-Gb genome during pairwise comparison between haplotypes,consistent with the high heterozygosity of this species.Genomic analyses revealed a correlation between artemisinin concents and the copy number of amorpha-4,11-dienes ynthasegenes.This correlation was further confirmed by resequencing of 36A.annua samples with varied artemisinin contents.Circular consensus sequencing of transcripts facilitated the detection of paralog expression.Collectively,our study provides chromosome-level allele-aware genome assemblies for two A.annua strains and new insights into the biosynthesis of artemisinin and its regulation,which will contribute to conquering malaria worldwide.Baosheng Liao Xiaofeng Shen Li Xiang Shuai Guo Shiyu Chen Ying Meng Yu Liang Dandan Ding Junqi Bai Dong Zhang Tomasz Czechowski Yi Li Hui Yao Tingyu Mai Caroline Howard Chao Sun Haitao Liu Jiushi Liu Jin Pei Jihai Gao Jigang Wang Xiaohui Qiu Zhihai Huang Hongyi Li Ling Yuan Jianhe Wei lan Graham Jiang Xu Boli Zhang Shilin Chen 2022Molecular Plant2022,15,8:9

6Limitation of fault-sealing and its control on hydrocarbon accumulation——An example from the Laoyemiao Oilfi eld of the Nanpu Sag显示文摘Based on previous studies on the internal structures of fault belts, the fault belts in the Laoyemiao Oilfi eld of the Nanpu Sag can be divided into three units, a crushed zone, an upper induced fracture zone and a lower induced fracture zone according to the log response characteristics. The upper induced fracture zone is characterized by the development of pervasive fractures and has a poor sealing or non-sealing capability. It therefore can act as pathways for hydrocarbon migration. The lower induced fracture zone consists of fewer fractures and has limited sealing capability. The crushed zone has a good sealing capability comparable to mudstone and can thus prevent lateral migration of fluid. Through physical modeling and comparing laboratory data with calculated data of oil column heights of traps sealed by faults, it is concluded that the fault-sealing capability for oil and gas is limited. When the oil column height reaches a threshold, oil will spill over from the top of reservoir along the lower induced fracture zone under the action of buoyancy, and the size of reservoir will remain unchanged. Analysis of the formation mechanisms of the fault-sealed reservoirs in the Nanpu Sag indicated that the charging sequence of oil and gas in the reservoir was from lower formation to upper formation, with the fault playing an important role in oil and gas accumulation. The hydrocarbon potential in reverse fault-sealed traps is much better than that in the consequent fault-sealed traps. 7“All‐In‐One” integrated ultrathin SnS2@3D multichannel carbon matrix power high‐areal–capacity lithium battery anode显示文摘Construction of a thickness‐independent electrode with high active material mass loading is crucial for the development of high energy rechargeable lithium battery.Herein,we fabricate an all‐in‐one integrated SnS2@3D multichannel carbon matrix(SnS2@3DMCM)electrode with in‐situ growth of ultrathin SnS2 nanosheets inside the inner walls of three dimensional(3D)multichannels.The interconnected conductive carbon matrix derived from natural wood acts as an integrated porous current collector to avail the electrons transport and accommodate massive SnS2 nanosheets,while plenty of 3D aligned multichannels facilitate fast ions transport with electrode thickness‐independent even under high mass loading.As expected,the integrated SnS2@3DMCM electrode exhibits remarkable electrochemical lithium storage performance,such as exceptional high‐areal‐capacity of 6.4 mAh cm−2,high rate capability of 3 mAh cm−2 under current of 6.8 mAcm−2(10 C),and stable cycling performance of 6.8 mAcm−2 with a high mass loading of 7mg cm−2.The 3D integrated porous electrode constructing conveniently with the natural source paves new avenues towards future high‐performance lithium batteries.Hongyi Xu Chengxin Peng Yuhua Yan Fei Dong Hao Sun Junhe Yang Shiyou Zheng 2019Carbon Energy2019,1,2:4
8Adaptive Attitude Control for Multi-MUAV Systems With Output Dead-Zone and Actuator Fault显示文摘Many mechanical parts of multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle(MUAV)can easily produce non-smooth phenomenon and the external disturbance that affects the stability of MUAV.For multi-MUAV attitude systems that experience output dead-zone,external disturbance and actuator fault,a leader-following consensus anti-disturbance and fault-tolerant control(FTC)scheme is proposed in this paper.In the design process,the effect of unknown nonlinearity in multi-MUAV systems is addressed using neural networks(NNs).In order to balance out the effects of external disturbance and actuator fault,a disturbance observer is designed to compensate for the aforementioned negative impacts.The Nussbaum function is used to address the problem of output dead-zone.The designed fault-tolerant controller guarantees that the output signals of all followers and leader are synchronized by the backstepping technique.Finally,the effectiveness of the control scheme is verified by simulation experiments.Guowei Dong Liang Cao Deyin Yao Hongyi Li Renquan Lu 2021IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2021,8,9:4
93D reconstruction of single rising bubble in water using digital image processing and characteristic matrix显示文摘Reconstructing the shape of a bubble will lay a firm foundation for further description of the dynamic characteristics of bubbly flow,especially for a single rising bubble or separate bubbles whose interaction could be neglected.In this case,the rising bubble is usually simulated as an ellipsoid consisting of two semi-ellipsoids up and down.Thus the projected image of a bubble consists of two semi-ellipses.In this paper,a method for reconstructing the ellipsoid bubble model is described following digital image processing,using the Hough transform in 2D ellipse parameter extraction which could cover most of the bubble edge points in the image.Then a method based on characteristic symmetric matrix is described to detect 3D bubble ellipsoid model parameters from 2D ellipse parameters of projection planes.This method can be applied to bubbles rising with low-velocity in static flow field much in conformity with the projection theory and the shape variation of the rising bubble.This method does not need to solve nonlinear equation sets and provides an easy way to calculate the characteristic matrix of a space ellipsoid model for deformed bubble.For bubble application,two assumed conditions and a calibration factor are proposed to simplify calculation and detection.Errors of ellipsoid center and three axes are minor.Errors of the three rotation angles have no negative effect on further study on bubbly flow.Yuchen Bian Feng Dong Weida Zhang Hongyi Wang Chao Tan Zhiqiang Zhang 2013Particuology2013,11,2:2

11Decorating cobalt phosphide and rhodium on reduced graphene oxide for high-efficiency hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘Electrochemical reduction of water to hydrogen holds great promise for clean energy,while its widespread application relies on the development of efficient catalysts with large surface area,abundant exposed active sites and superior electron conductivity.Herein,we report a facile strategy to configure an electrocatalyst composed of cobalt phosphide and rhodium uniformly anchored on reduced graphene oxide for hydrogen generation.The hybrids effectively integrate the exposed active sites,electron conductivity and synergistic effect of the catalyst.Electrochemical tests exhibit that the catalyst shows superior hydrogen evolution reaction catalytic activity and stability,with a small Tafel slope of 43 m V dec-1.Overpotentials as low as 29 and 72 mV are required to achieve current densities of 2 and 10 mA cm-2in 0.5M H2SO4,respectively.The hybrid constitution with highly active sites on conductive substrate is a new strategy to synthesize extremely efficient electrocatalysts.Especially,the efficient synergistic effect among cobalt phosphide,rhodium and reduced graphene oxide provides a novel approach for configuring electrocatalysts with high electron efficiency.Haiyan Zheng Xiubing Huang Hongyi Gao Wenjun Dong Guilong Lu Xiao Chen Ge Wang 2019Journal of Energy Chemistry2019,28,7:1
123DRGO-NiFe2O4/NiO nanoparticles for fast and simple detection of organophosphorus pesticides显示文摘The residues of organophosphorus pesticide(OPs)on fruits and vegetables pose a threat to human health,so it is very meaningful to explore simple and fast detect methods for OPs residual.In this work,nickel ferrite/nickel oxide nanoparticles co-loaded three-dimensional reduced graphene oxide(3DRGONiFe2O4/NiO NPs),as a new low cost nanocomposite,was prepared.Based on its high performance mimetic peroxidase activity,a colorimetric method for the detection of OPs has been developed.Dichlorvos was chosen as model compounds to evaluate the detection performance.The detection linear range for dichlorvos is from 50μg/mL to 2.5×10^4μg/mL with a detection limit of 10μg/mL.Furthermore,a test paper can be developed based on the 3 DRGO-NiFe2O4/NiO NPs for visual detection of dichlorvos,and the image information of the paper sensor can be converted into digital signal and quantitative detection by a smartphone.Notably,this method can also be used to detect dichlorvos in real samples,including vegetables and fruits.Thus,the developed naked assay holds great potential in simple,inexpensive and rapid detection of OPs in fruit and vegetable samples.Zhenni Wei Huiqing Li Jing Wu Yalei Dong Hongyi Zhang Hongli Chen Cuiling Ren 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,1:1
