| 2 | Current status of intravenous tissue plasminogen activator dosage for acute ischaemic stroke:an updated systematic review显示文摘The optimal dose of recombinant tissue plasminogen activator(rtPA)for acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)remains controversial,especially in Asian countries.We aimed to update the evidence regarding the use of low-dose versus standard-dose rtPA.We performed a systematic literature search across MEDLINE,Embase,Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials(CENTRAL),PsycINFO and Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature(CINAHL)from inception to 22 August 2016 to identify all related studies.The outcomes were death or disability(defined by modified Rankin Scale 2-6),death,and symptomatic intracerebral haemorrhage(sICH).Where possible,data were pooled for meta-analysis with ORs and corresponding 95% CIs by means of random-effects or fixed-effects meta-analysis.We included 26 observational studies and 1 randomised controlled trial with a total of 23210 patients.Variable doses of rtPA were used for thrombolysis of AIS in Asia.Meta-analysis shows that low-dose rtPA was not associated with increased risk of death or disability(OR 1.13,95% CI 0.95 to 1.33),or death(OR 0.86,95% CI 0.74 to 1.01),or decreased risk of sICH(OR 1.06,95% CI 0.65 to 1.72).The results remained consistent when sensitivity analyses were performed including only low-dose and standard-dose rtPA or only Asian studies.Our review shows small difference between the outcomes or the risk profile in the studies using low-dose and/or standard-dose rtPA for AIS.Low-dose rtPA was not associated with lower risk of death or disability,death alone,or sICH. | Xia Wang Shoujiang You Shoichiro Sato Jie Yang Cheryl Carcel Danni Zheng Sohei Yoshimura Craig S Anderson Else Charlotte Sandset Thompson Robinson John Chalmers Vijay K Sharma | 2018 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2018,3,1: | 10 |
| 3 | Effect of Salinity on the Zooplankton Community in the Pearl River Estuary显示文摘Understanding the relationship between the zooplankton distribution and salinity may provide key information to understand ecosystem function under the condition of a global mean sea level rise caused by global climate change.However,little is known about how increasing salinity level will affect the entire zooplankton community on a large scale.Here we completed 1 year of field investigations on the Pearl River Estuary and analyzed the distribution and structure of the zooplankton community.A total of 68 zooplankton species were identified during the survey.The number and diversity(richness,evenness,Shannon index,and Simpson’s index)of the zooplankton species decreased as salinity increased from 0.10 to 21.26.Salinity negatively affected the abundances of rotifers,cladocerans,and total zooplankton,while it had little effect on copepod abundance.Some salt-tolerant species,such as Keratella tropica,Polyarthra vulgaris,and Paracalanus crassirostris,survived at high-salinity sites.A pattern was observed at all sites:the peak in copepod abundance always occurred when rotifers were abundant(sites S1 and S2)or after rotifer abundance reached a maximum level(sites S3,S4,and S5).In general,salinity was the most important environmental factor shaping zooplankton biodiversity and abundance.This study provides insight into potential biodiversity and structure of the zooplankton community in response to salinity change. | YUAN Danni CHEN Liangdong LUAN Leilei WANG Qing YANG Yufeng | 2020 | Journal of Ocean University of China2020,19,6: | 5 |
| 4 | Magnetically recyclable Pd/γ-AlOOH@Fe_3O_4 catalysts and their catalytic performance for the Heck coupling reaction显示文摘Novel magnetically recyclable Pd/γ-AlOOH@Fe3O4 catalysts were prepared using γ-AlOOH@Fe3O4 as a magnetic supporter and nano-Pd particles as the active catalytic component.The structure of the catalysts was characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),N2 adsorption-desorption,and a vibration sample magnetometer(VSM).The catalytic activity and recyclability for the Heck coupling reaction were investigated.Results showed that the magnetic γ-AlOOH@Fe3O4 possessed a core-shell structure,as well as that the nano-Pd particles were 6–8 nm and had been well dispersed in the γ-AlOOH shell.In the Heck coupling reactions,the magnetic Pd/γ-AlOOH@Fe3O4 catalysts exhibited good catalytic activity and recyclability.For the(0.021 mol%)Pd/γ-AlOOH@Fe3O4 catalyst,the bromobenzene conversion and product yield reached about 100%and 96.3%,respectively,under a 120°C reaction temperature and 12 h reaction time.After being recycled 8 times,the conversion of bromobenzene and the recovery of the catalyst were about 90%and 93%,respectively.The nano-Pd particles were kept well dispersed in the used Pd/γ-AlOOH@Fe3O4 catalyst. | YANG Hao JI ShengFu LIU XueFei ZHANG DanNi SHI Da | 2014 | Science China Chemistry2014,57,6: | 5 |

| 6 | Genome-wide analysis indicates diverse physiological roles of the turnip (Brassica rapa var. rapa) oligopeptide transporters gene family显示文摘Oligopeptide transporters(OPTs) encode integral membrane-localized proteins and have a broad range of substrate transport capabilities. Here, 28 BrrOPT genes were identified in the turnip. Phylogenetic analyses revealed two well-supported clades in the OPT family, containing 15 BrrOPTs and 13 BrrYSLs.The exon/intron structure of OPT clade are conserved but the yellow stripe-like(YSL) clade was different.The exon/intron of the YSL clade possesses structural differences, whereas the YSL class motifs structure are conserved. The OPT genes are distributed unevenly among the chromosomes of the turnip genome.Phylogenetic and chromosomal distribution analyses revealed that the expansion of the OPT gene family is mainly attributable to segmental duplication. For the expression profiles at different developmental stages, a comprehensive analysis provided insights into the possible functional divergence among members of the paralog OPT gene family. Different expression levels under a variety of ion deficiencies also indicated that the OPT family underwent functional divergence during long-term evolution.Furthermore. BrrOPT8.1, BrrYSL1.2, BrrYSL1.3, BrrYSL6 and BrrYSL9 responded to Fe(Ⅱ) treatments and BrrYSL7 responded to calcium treatments, BrrYSL6 responded to multiple treatments in root, suggesting that turnip OPTs may be involved in mediating cross-talk among different ion deficiencies. | 7 | Predicting the degradation behavior of magnesium alloys with a diffusion-based theoretical model and in vitro corrosion testing显示文摘Magnesium alloys have shown great potential for their use in the medical device field, due to the promising biodegradability. However, it remains a challenge to characterize the degradation behavior of the Mg alloys in a quantitative manner. As such, controlling the degradation rate of the Mg alloys as per our needs is still hard, which greatly limits the practical application of the Mg alloys as a degradable biomaterial.This paper discussed a numerical model developed based on the diffusion theory, which can capture the experimental degradation behavior of the Mg alloys precisely. The numerical model is then implemented into a finite element scheme, where the model is calibrated with the data from our previous studies on the corrosion of the as-cast Mg-1 Ca and the as-rolled Mg-3 Ge binary alloys. The degradation behavior of a pin implant is predicted using the calibrated model to demonstrate the model’s capability. A standard flow is provided in a practical framework for obtaining the degradation behavior of any biomedical Mg alloys. This methodology was further verified via the comparison with enormous available experimental results. | 8 | Magnetic resonance (MR) safety and compatibility of a novel iron bioresorbable scaffold显示文摘Fully bioresorbable scaffolds have been designed to overcome the limitations of traditional drug-eluting stents(DESs),which permanently cage the native vessel wall and pose possible complications.The ultrathin-strut designed sirolimus-eluting iron bioresorbable coronary scaffold system(IBS)shows comparable mechanical properties to traditional DESs and exhibits an adaptive degradation profile during target vessel healing,which makes it a promising candidate in all-comers patient population.For implanted medical devices,magnetic resonance(MR)imaging properties,including MR safety and compatibility,should be evaluated before its clinical use,especially for devices with intrinsic ferromagnetism.In this study,MR safety and compatibility of the IBS scaffold were evaluated based on a series of well-designed in-vitro,ex-vivo and in-vivo experiments,considering possible risks,including scaffold movement,over-heating,image artifact,and possible vessel injury,under typical MR condition.Traditional ASTM standards for MR safety and compatibility evaluation of intravascular devices were referred,but not only limited to that.The unique time-relevant MR properties of bioresorbable scaffolds were also discussed.Possible forces imposed on the scaffold during MR scanning and MR image artifacts gradually decreased along with scaffold degradation/absorption.Rigorous experiments designed based on a scientifically based rationale revealed that the IBS scaffold is MR conditional,though not MR compatible before complete absorption.The methodology used in the present study can give insight into the MR evaluation of magnetic scaffolds(bioresorbable)or stents(permanent). | Dong Bian Li Qin Wenjiao Lin Danni Shen Haiping Qi Xiaoli Shi Gui Zhang Hongwei Liu Han Yang Jin Wang Deyuan Zhang Yufeng Zheng | 2020 | Bioactive Materials2020,5,2: | 2 |
