1BODIPY-derived ratiometric fluorescent sensors: pH-regulated aggregation-induced emission and imaging application in cellular acidification triggered by crystalline silica exposure显示文摘Modification of classic fluorophore to possess the emission transitions between aggregation-induced emission(AIE)and intrinsic emission offers reliable approach to the design of ratiometric fluorescent sensors.In this study,a proton acceptor benzimidazole was integrated with BODIPY to form three compounds,BBI-1/2/3,which demonstrated the AIE(~595 nm,I_(agg))in neutral aqueous medium and intrinsic BODIPYemission(~510 nm,I_(int))in acidic medium.All the three showed the ratiometric pH sensing behavior in a dual excitation/dual emission mode,yet BBI-3 displayed still the dual emission ratiometric pH sensing ability.The pH-dependent emission ratio I_(int)/I_(agg)of the three were fully reversible,and no interference was observed from normal abundant chemical species in live cells.Their different p K_a(BBI-1,p K_a4.4;BBI-2,p K_a2.7;BBI-3,p K_a3.6)suggested that the substituents on benzimidazole moiety were essential to govern their functioning pH range.The ratiometric imaging of BBI-1 in A549 cells provided an effective intracellular pH(pH_i)calibration formula corresponding to emission ratio of I_(int)/I_(agg).Ratiometric pH_iimaging in A549 cells upon small particle exposure confirmed the particle-induced cellular acidification with this formula.Both particle size and the chemical nature of the particle contribute to the observed acidification effect.The synchronization of lysosome disruption to cellular acidification in A549 cells upon crystalline silica exposure was directly observed for the first time with BBI-1,showing the potential application of BBI-1 in the study of silicosis and other related diseases.This study demonstrated that endowing fluorophore with AIE/intrinsic emission transition could be a promising strategy for ratiometric sensor design.Yang Bai Danyang Liu Zhong Han Yuncong Chen Zhongyan Chen Yang Jiao Weijiang He Zijian Guo 2018Science China Chemistry2018,61,11:4
2Validation results of NmF2 and hmF2 derived from ionospheric density profiles of GNOS on FY-3C satellite显示文摘The first Global Navigation Satellite System Occultation Sounder(GNOS) which is compatible of both Bei Dou System(BDS)and Global Positioning System(GPS) was successfully launched into orbit onboard the Feng Yun 3 C satellite(FY-3 C) on September 23, 2013, and it has already gathered a large amount of ionosphere radio occultation(RO) data so far. However, the detailed analysis and validation of GPS ionosphere RO data have not been done up to now. Therefore, this paper discusses the configuration of the FY-3 C GNOS, the methods and results of GPS ionosphere occultation processment, the quality analysis of the GPS ionosphere RO products, and the precision consistency between the GNOS GPS ionosphere RO product and ionosonde data. The peak electron density(Nm F2) correlation coefficient is 0.97, the corresponding standard deviation is 16.08%. The peak value altitude(hm F2) correlation coefficient is 0.89, and the corresponding standard deviation is 23.79 km. 42-22 Elastic Scattering Studies of Light Proton-rich显示文摘The elastic scattering is an important probe to study the properties of a nucleus. An accurate measurement ofthe elastic scattering differential cross section is very important to determine the optical potential parameters andthe so-called one quarter angle (q1=4). Also, the optical potential parameters of stable nuclei and unstable nucleiare found to be different. 8B, the binding energy of the last proton is only 0.137 MeV, is a well-known protonhalonucleus even there are still some arguments. Many investigations have been done for 8B by measuring thetotal reaction cross sections, breakup cross section and inelastic scattering differential cross section. However, theexperimental data of elastic scattering of 8B and other light proton-rich nuclei on heavy target are few. 5Enhanced monopole transition strength from the cluster decay of ^(13)C显示文摘The inelastic excitations and cluster decay of ^(13)C have been measured using the reaction,9Be(^(13)C, ^(13)C* →~9Be + α)~9Be. We observe strong excitation to the 14.3-MeV(1/2-) resonant state from the cluster-decay channel, leading to an enhanced monopole matrix element of(6.3 ± 0.6) fm^2. This large cluster-related monopole strength is a clear indication of the cluster-structure domination of this state and is consistent with the recent prediction of the orthogonality condition model(OCM). 7Melatonin biosynthesis pathways in nature and its production in engineered microorganisms显示文摘Melatonin is a biogenic amine that can be found in plants,animals and microorganism.The metabolic pathway of melatonin is different in various organisms,and biosynthetic endogenous melatonin acts as a molecular signal and antioxidant protection against external stress.Microbial synthesis pathways of melatonin are similar to those of animals but different from those of plants.At present,the method of using microorganism fermentation to produce melatonin is gradually prevailing,and exploring the biosynthetic pathway of melatonin to modify microorganism is becoming the mainstream,which has more advantages than traditional chemical synthesis.Here,we review recent advances in the synthesis,optimization of melatonin pathway.L-tryptophan is one of the two crucial precursors for the synthesis of melatonin,which can be produced through a four-step reaction.Enzymes involved in melatonin synthesis have low specificity and catalytic efficiency.Site-directed mutation,directed evolution or promotion of cofactor synthesis can enhance enzyme activity and increase the metabolic flow to promote microbial melatonin production.On the whole,the status and bottleneck of melatonin biosynthesis can be improved to a higher level,providing an effective reference for future microbial modification.Xiaotong Xie Dongqin Ding Danyang Bai Yaru Zhu Wei Sun Yumei Sun Dawei Zhang 2022Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology2022,7,1:0

10A first comprehensive evaluation of China's GNSS-R airborne campaign: part II—river remote sensing显示文摘The Global Navigation Satellite System Reflectometry(GNSS-R) has been proven to be a powerful technique for retrieving geophysical parameters of ocean and land. Airborne GNSS-R is an important experimental platform, because it is not only needed as validation for spaceborne application, but also possesses the advantages to be capable of remote sensing of small and medium scale targets, such as rivers and lakes. This paper presents an overview of China's airborne GNSS-R campaign conducted on May 30, 2014, in Henan. The campaign has two objectives, i.e.:(1) to examine the capability of a GNSS-R payload developed by National Space Science Center,Chinese Academy of Sciences(NSSC, CAS) for airborneobservations and(2) to study the algorithms for soil moisture and river remote sensing, including altimetry and flow velocity measurement. A previous paper has presented results of soil moisture retrieval as part I, and in this paper,initial results of the Yellow River remote sensing are presented as part II. This paper presents the river altimetry results and explores a new potential application of GNSS-R technology, which is used to detect the flow velocity of the river. The river surface height results observed by code delay altimetry method were consistent with the height results of GPS dual-frequency differential positioning altimetry. The GNSS-R altimetry results showed that decimeter level heights were achieved in 1-min sliding average. 11Suppressing byproduct formation for high selective CO_(2) reduction over optimized Ni/TiO_(2) based catalysts显示文摘One of the challenges for catalytic CO_(2)reduction is to control product selectivity,and new findings that can modify selectivity would be transformative.Herein,two kinds of TiO_(2)(homemade and commercial)with the same crystal phase but different surface properties are chosen as supports to prepare Ni-based catalysts for CO_(2)reduction,which show distinctly different product selectivity for CO_(2)reduction to CH_(4) or CO,as well as the CO_(2)conversion.The catalysts based on the homemade TiO_(2)support are highly selective for CH_(4) formation,while the latter ones are about 100%selective for CO formation under the same reaction conditions.In addition,the former ones are much active(more than 3 times)than the latter ones.We found that the collaborative contribution of Ti^(3+)and Ni^(2+)species and the electronic metal-support interactions effect maybe the main driving force behind for determining the product selectivity.Methane is almost exclusively produced over the catalysts with abundant Ti^(3+)and Ni^(2+)species and greater electronic metal-support interaction,otherwise,it will give priority to CO generation.The addition of CeO_(2)can reduce the Ni particle size and improve the dispersion of Ni nanoparticles,as well as create more Ti^(3+)species,contributing to the enhancement of CO_(2)conversion,but shows a negligible effect on product selectivity.Furthermore,the in situ DRIFT experiments and kinetic experiments indicate that the CO route is probably involved in the CO_(2)reduction process over the homemade Ni-CeO_(2)/TiO_(2)-CO catalyst with abundant Ti^(3+)and Ni^(2+)species and a strong electronic transform effect.Danyang Li Ruidong Xu Roong Jien Wong Xing Zhu Dong Tian Lei Jiang Qingjie Guo Hongcun Bai Linan Huang Wen Liu Hua Wang Kongzhai Li 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,9:0
