1First dark matter search results from the PandaX-Ⅰ experiment显示文摘We report on the first dark-matter(DM)search results from PandaX-I,a low threshold dual-phase xenon experiment operating at the China JinPing Underground Laboratory.In the 37-kg liquid xenon target with 17.4 live-days of exposure,no DM particle candidate event was found.This result sets a stringent limit for low-mass DM particles and disfavors the interpretation of previously-reported positive experimental results.The minimum upper limit,3.7×10-44cm2,for the spin-independent isoscalar DM-particle-nucleon scattering cross section is obtained at a DM-particle mass of 49 GeV/c2at 90%confidence level.XIAO MengJiao XIAO Xiang ZHAO Li CAO XiGuang CHEN Xun CHEN YunHua CUI XiangYi FANG DeQing FU ChangBo GIBONI Karl L. 3Dark matter direct search sensitivity of the PandaX-4T experiment显示文摘The Panda X-4T experiment, a 4-ton scale dark matter direct detection experiment, is being planned at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. In this paper we present a simulation study of the expected background in this experiment. In a 2.8-ton fiducial mass and the signal region between 1-10 keV electron equivalent energy, the total electron recoil background is found to be 4.9 × 10^(-5) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). The nuclear recoil background in the same region is 2.8 × 10^(-7) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). 4Bisphenol A in combination with TNF-a selectively induces Th2 cell-promoting dendritic cells in vitro with an estrogen-like activity显示文摘Bisphenol A(BPA)is a monomer used in manufacturing a wide range of chemical products,including epoxy resins and polycarbonate.BPA,an important endocrine disrupting chemical that exerts estrogen-like activities,is detectable at nanomolar levels in human serum worldwide.The pregnancy associated doses of 17b-estradiol(E2)plus tumor-necrosis factor-a(TNF-a)induce distorted maturation of human dendritic cells(DCs)that result in an increased capacity to induce T helper(Th)2 responses.The current study demonstrated that the presence of BPA during DC maturation influences the function of human DCs,thereby polarizing the subsequent Th response.In the presence of TNF-a,BPA treatment enhanced the expression of CC chemokine ligand 1(CCL1)in DCs.In addition,DCs exposed to BPA/TNF-a produced higher levels of IL-10 relative to those of IL-12p70 on CD40 ligation,and preferentially induced Th2 deviation.BPA exerts the same effect with E2 at the same dose(0.01–0.1 mM)with regard to DC-mediated Th2 polarization.These findings imply that DCs exposed to BPA will provide one of the initial signals driving the development and perpetuation of Th2-dominated immune response in allergic reactions.Hongchuan Guo Tianyi Liu Yasushi Uemura Shunchang Jiao Deqing Wang Zilin Lin Yayoi Narita Motoharu Suzuki Narumi Hirosawa Yasuko Ichihara Osamu Ishihara Hirosato Kikuchi Yasushi Sakamoto Satoru Senju Qiuhang Zhang Feng Ling 2010Cellular & Molecular Immunology2010,7,3:6
5An Efficient Method of Noroviruses Recovery from Oysters and Clams显示文摘Noroviruses (NoVs) are widespread causes of nonbacterial gastroenteritis. Outbreaks of NoVs caused diseases are commonly ascribed to the consumption of contaminated shellfish. The concentration and RNA extraction of NoVs are crucial steps of detecting NoVs in shellfish. This study aimed to select a simple, rapid and highly efficient recovery method of NoVs detection with real-time RT-PCR. Four methods of recovering GI.3 and GII.4 NoVs from spiked digestive tissues of oysters and clams, respectively, were compared, of them, the method involving proteinase K and PEG 8000 was found the most efficient. With this method, 9.3% and 13.1% of GI.3 and GII.4 NoVs were recovered from oysters and 9.6% and 12.3% of GI.3 and GII.4 NoVs were recovered from clams, respectively. This method was further used to detect NoVs in 84 oysters (Crassostrea gigas) and 86 clams (Ruditapes philippinarum) collected from 10 coastal cities in China from Jan. 2011 to Feb. 2012. The NoVs isolation rates were 10.47% of clams (9/86) and 7.14% of oysters (6/84). All the detected NoVs belonged to genotype GII. 7System Recovery-Aware Virus Propagation Model and Its Steady-State Analysis显示文摘Network structures and human behaviors are considered as two important factors in virus defense currently. However, due to ignorance of network security, normal users usually take simple activities, such as reinstalling computer system, or using the computer recovery system to clear virus. How system recovery influences virus spreading is not taken into consideration currently. In this paper, a new virus propagation model considering the system recovery is proposed first, and then in its steady-state analysis, the virus propagation steady time and steady states are deduced. Experiment results show that models considering system recovery can effectively restrain virus propagation. Furthermore, algorithm with system recovery in BA scale-free network is proposed. 11PSLDA:a novel supervised pseudo document-based topic model for short texts显示文摘Various kinds of online social media applications such as Twitter and Weibo,have brought a huge volume of short texts.However,mining semantic topics from short texts efficiently is still a challenging problem because of the sparseness of word-occurrence and the diversity of topics.To address the above problems,we propose a novel supervised pseudo-document-based maximum entropy discrimination latent Dirichlet allocation model(PSLDA for short).Specifically,we first assume that short texts are generated from the normal size latent pseudo documents,and the topic distributions are sampled from the pseudo documents.In this way,the model will reduce the sparseness of word-occurrence and the diversity of topics because it implicitly aggregates short texts to longer and higher-level pseudo documents.To make full use of labeled information in training data,we introduce labels into the model,and further propose a supervised topic model to learn the reasonable distribution of topics.Extensive experiments demonstrate that our proposed method achieves better performance compared with some state-of-the-art methods.Mingtao SUN Xiaowei ZHAO Jingjing LIN Jian JING Deqing WANG Guozhu JIA 2022Frontiers of Computer Science2022,16,6:0
12Study on Element Contents in Tobacco Leaves from Different Positions of Tobacco CB-1显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to clarify the differences and abundance or deficiency of various elements in tobacco leaves from different positions of CB-1 in Zhangping City,so as to guide the production of precision fertilization.[Methods]The element contents of CB-1 were determined by an X-ray fluorescence spectrometer.[Results]In terms of the contents of carbon,the upper leaves(45.73%)were significantly higher than the cutters(41.53%),and the lower leaves(43.15%)had no significant differences from both of them.For the content of oxygen element,there was no significant difference between the cutters(44.77%)and the lower leaves(43.40%),both of which were significantly higher than the upper leaves(40.75%).The contents of nitrogen,phosphorus,sulfur,boron and nickel all increased with the increase of the position,and they were significantly higher in the upper leaves than in the cutters and lower leaves.The contents of potassium,calcium,magnesium,chlorine and silicon all decreased with the increase of the position,and the lower leaves were significantly higher than the cutters and upper leaves.The contents of aluminum,titanium and chromium increased significantly with the increase of the position.The contents of strontium,zirconium and arsenic decreased significantly with the increase of the position.The element contents of tobacco leaves had significant or extremely significant differences between different parts of CB-1 in Zhangping City mostly.The contents of nitrogen,potassium,calcium,sulfur,chlorine,molybdenum and nickel in tobacco leaves were appropriate,and the contents of manganese and iron were too high,while the contents of phosphorus and copper were slightly low.The contents of magnesium,silicon,boron and sodium were too low.[Conclusions]This study can guide targeted fertilization and regulation of element contents in the tobacco leaves from different parts in production,and is of great significance to improving the production,quality and industrial availability of CB-1.Caijun XIE Shilei ZHANG Deqing CHEN Penghui LYU Wensheng LIN Jianrong ZHENG Jinchai YU Qiuying CAO Siyi CHENG Xueqin ZHANG Yongxin FENG Zenghan XU 2022Agricultural Biotechnology2022,11,6:0
13Autocatalytic strategy for tuning drug release from peptide-drug supramolecular hydrogel显示文摘Peptide-drug conjugates(PDCs) composed of peptide, spacer and drug have gained extensive attention in the field of drug delivery owing to its precise control over the drug payload and architecture. However,the achievement of controllable and rapid drug release at targeted site by PDCs is still a great challenge for pharmaceutist. Herein, we introduced the histidine residue into PDCs to generate a supramolecular hydrogel via a p H-trigger strategy, which exhibited an autocatalytic effect to precisely tune drug release from PDCs hydrogel. Using indomethacin(Idm) as model drug, various PDCs(Y(Idm)EEH, Y(Idm)EEK and Y(Idm)EER) were synthesized and their self-assembling properties were investigated in terms of critical aggregation concentration(CAC), transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and rheometer. Introduction of histidine residue into PDCs presented a robust catalytic activity on the ester hydrolysis of p-nitrophenyl acetate in aqueous solution, as well conferred the autocatalytic capacity to hydrolyze the PDCs into active parent drug(Idm).
