1Human avian influenza A (H5N1) virus infection in China显示文摘Highly pathogenic influenza A (H5N1) virus causes a widespread poultry deaths worldwide. The first human H5N1 infected case was reported in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China in 1997. Since then, the virus re-emerged in 2003 and continues to infect people worldwide. Currently, over 400 human infections have been reported in more than 15 countries and mortality rate is greater than 60%. H5N1 viruses still pose a potential pandemic threat in the future because of the continuing global spread and evolution. 2Actively priming autophagic cell death with novel transferrin receptor-targeted nanomedicine for synergistic chemotherapy against breast cancer显示文摘Recently, considerable attention in the field of cancer therapy has been focused on the mammalian rapamycin target(m TOR), inhibition of which could result in autophagic cell death(ACD). Though novel combination chemotherapy of autophagy inducers with chemotherapeutic agents is extensively investigated, nanomedicine-based combination therapy for ACD remains in infancy. In attempt to actively trigger ACD for synergistic chemotherapy, here we incorporated autophagy inducer rapamycin(RAP) into 7 pep-modified PEG-DSPE polymer micelles(7 pep-M-RAP) to specifically target and efficiently priming ACD of MCF-7 human breast cancer cells with high expression of transferrin receptor(Tf R). Cytotoxic paclitaxel(PTX)-loaded micelle(7 pep-M-PTX) was regarded as chemotherapeutic drug model. We discovered that with superior intracellular uptake in vitro and more tumor accumulation of micelles in vivo, 7 pep-M-RAP exhibited excellent autophagy induction and synergistic antitumor efficacy with 7 pep-M-PTX. Mechanism study further revealed that 7 pep-M-RAP and 7 pep-MPTX used in combination provided enhanced efficacy through induction of both apoptosis-and mitochondria-associated autophagic cell death. 4Measurements and thermodynamic modeling of liquid–liquid equilibria in ternary system 2-methoxy-2-methylpropane+p-cresol+water显示文摘Liquid–liquid equilibrium(LLE)data for the ternary system 2-methoxy-2-methylpropane(methyl tert-butyl ether)+ p-cresol + water was measured at atmospheric pressure and temperatures of 298.15 K and 313.15 K.From the distribution coefficients and selectivity,it was found that 2-methoxy-2-methylpropane is an efficient solvent to extract p-cresol from wastewater.The consistency of the experimental tie-line data was verified with the Hand and Bachman equations.These data were also correlated with the non-random two liquid(NRTL)and universal quasi-chemical correlation activity coefficient(UNIQUAC)models to yield binary interaction parameters for p-cresol extraction process evaluation.Both models agreed with experiments very well,yet the NRTL model showed even smaller average deviation than the UNIQUAC model.Liejin Luo Dong Liu Libo Li Yun Chen 2016Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2016,24,3:5
5Nano-sized Fe_2O_3/Fe_3O_4 facilitate anaerobic transformation of hexavalent chromium in soil–water systems显示文摘The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of nano-sized or submicro Fe_2O_3/Fe_3O_4 on the bioreduction of hexavalent chromium(Cr(VI)) and to evaluate the effects of nano-sized Fe_2O_3/Fe_3O_4 on the microbial communities from the anaerobic flooding soil.The results indicated that the net decreases upon Cr(VI) concentration from biotic soil samples amended with nano-sized Fe_2O_3(317.1 ± 2.1 mg/L) and Fe_3O_4(324.0 ± 22.2 mg/L) within21 days,which were approximately 2-fold of Cr(VI) concentration released from blank control assays(117.1 ± 5.6 mg/L).Furthermore,the results of denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis(DGGE) and high-throughput sequencing indicated a greater variety of microbes within the microbial community in amendments with nano-sized Fe_2O_3/Fe_3O_4 than the control assays.Especially,Proteobacteria occupied a predominant status on the phylum level within the indigenous microbial communities from chromium-contaminated soils.Besides,some partial decrease of soluble Cr(VI) in abiotic nano-sized Fe_2O_3/Fe_3O_4 amendments was responsible for the adsorption of nano-sized Fe_2O_3/Fe_3O_4 to soluble Cr(VI).Hence,the presence of nano-sized Fe_2O_3/Fe_3O_4 could largely facilitate the mobilization and biotransformation of Cr(VI) from flooding soils by adsorption and bio-mediated processes.Yaxian Zhang Hua Li Libo Gong Guowen Dong Liang Shen Yuanpeng Wang Qingbiao Li 2017Journal of Environmental Sciences2017,29,7:4
6Wafer-scale patterned growth of type-II Dirac semimetal platinum ditelluride for sensitive room-temperature terahertz photodetection显示文摘As the lastly unexplored electromagnetic wave,terahertz(THz)radiation has been exploited in a plenty of contexts such as fundamental research,military and civil fields.Most recently,representative two-dimensional(2D)topological semimetal,platinum ditelluride(PtTe_(2))has attracted considerable research interest in THz detection due to its unique physical properties.However,to achieve practical applications,the low-cost,large-scale,controllable synthesis and efficient patterning of 2D materials are key requirements,which remain a challenge for PtTe_(2)and its photodetectors(PDs).Herein,a facile approach is developed to obtain waferscale(2-inches)patterned PtTe_(2)arrays using one-step tellurium-vapor transformation method and micro-Nano technology.PtTe_(2)PD arrays are fabricated with the as-grown PtTe_(2)arrays evenly distributed on a 2-inch wafer,exhibiting high conductivity(~2.7×105 S m^(-1))and good electrical consistency.Driven by the Dirac fermions,PtTe_(2)PDs achieve a broadband(0.02-0.3 THz)response with a fast response speed(~4.7μs),a high sensitivity(~47 pW Hz^(-1/2))and high-resolution transmission THz-imaging capability,which displays the potential of large-area THz array imaging.These results are one step towards the practical applications of integrated PD arrays based on 2D materials.Zhuo Dong Wenzhi Yu Libo Zhang Liu Yang Luyi Huang Yan Zhang Zeqian Ren Haoran Mu Cheng Chen Junrong Zhang Jie Li Lin Wang Kai Zhang 2023InfoMat2023,5,5:1

8急腹症罕见诱因:巨大胃间质瘤自发破裂(英文)显示文摘A case of spontaneous rupture of giant gastrointestinal stromal tumor(GIST) of stomach causing acute abdomen is described below. A male patient with abdominal mass presented with symptoms and signs of acute abdomen after admitting for 1 day. After preoperative management and evaluation, an exploratory laparotomy was performed, where rupture of a huge tumor in the stomach was found. A subtotal gastrectomy including the mass was performed and the final immunohistochemical examination verified that the neoplasm was a high risk GIST. 10A flexible and wearable NO_(2)gas detection and early warning device based on a spraying process and an interdigital electrode at room temperature显示文摘Flexible sensors used to detect NO_(2) gas generally have problems such as poor repeatability,high operating temperature,poor selectivity,and small detection range.In this work,a new spraying platform with a simple structure,low cost,and good film-forming consistency was designed and built to make a sensitive film(rGO/SnO_(2))for NO_(2) gas sensors.The relationship between the solid content of rGO and SnO_(2)nanoparticles,annealing temperature,and sensor performance was studied.The results show that the interdigital electrode-sensitive film formed by spraying 0.25 ml of a 0.4 wt%rGO/SnO_(2)mixture and annealing at 250℃exhibited the best comprehensive performance for NO_(2) detection.The sensor's response value for 100 ppm NO_(2) gas was 0.2640 at room temperature(25℃),and the response time and recovery time were 412.4 s and 587.3 s,respectively.In the range of 20-100 ppm,the relationship between the response and NO_(2) concentration was linear,and the correlation coefficient was 0.9851.In addition,a soft-monitoring node module with an overlimit warning function for NO_(2) gas was designed and manufactured based on flexible electronics.Finally,the flexible sensor and node module were embedded into woven fabric that could be used to make a mask or a watch that could detect NO_(2) gas,realizing the practical application of flexible NO_(2) gas sensors in the field of wearable electronics.Fuzheng Zhang Qijing Lin Feng Flan Zuowei Wang Bian Tian Libo Zhao Tao Dong Zhuangde Jiang 2022Microsystems & Nanoengineering2022,8,2:1

12Exploring the nonlinear piezoresistive effect of 4HSiC and developing MEMS pressure sensors for extreme environments显示文摘Microelectromechanical system(MEMS)pressure sensors based on silicon are widely used and offer the benefits of miniaturization and high precision.However,they cannot easily withstand high temperatures exceeding 150 ℃ because of intrinsic material limits.Herein,we proposed and executed a systematic and full-process study of Sic-based MEMS pressure sensors that operate stably from-50 to 300 ℃.First,to explore the nonlinear piezoresistive effect,the temperature coefficient of resistance(TCR)values of 4H-SiC piezoresistors were obtained from-50 to 500 ℃.A conductivity variation model based on scattering theory was established to reveal the nonlinear variation mechanism.Then,a piezoresistive pressure sensor based on 4H-SiC was designed and fabricated.The sensor shows good output sensitivity(3.38 mVN/MPa),accuracy(0.56%FS)and low temperature coefficient of sensitivity(TCS)(-0.067%FS/℃)in the range of-50 to 300 ℃.In addition,the survivability of the sensor chip in extreme environments was demonstrated by its anti-corrosion capability in H_(2)SO_(4) and NaOH solutions and its radiation tolerance under 5 W X-rays.Accordingly,the sensor developed in this work has high potential to measure pressure in high-temperature and extreme environments such as are faced in geothermal energy extraction,deep well dilling,aeroengines and gas turbines.Chen Wu Xudong Fang Qiang Kang Ziyan Fang Junxia Wu Hongtao He Dong Zhang Libo Zha Bian Tian Ryutaro Maedai Zhuangde Jjang 2023Microsystems & Nanoengineering2023,9,2:1
13Highly sensitive piezoresistive and thermally responsive fibrous networks from the in situ growth of PEDOT on MWCNT-decorated electrospun PU fibers for pressure and temperature sensing显示文摘Flexible electronics have demonstrated various strategies to enhance the sensory ability for tactile perception and wearable physiological monitoring.Fibrous microstructures have attracted much interest because of their excellent mechanical properties and fabricability.Herein,a structurally robust fibrous mat was first fabricated by electrospinning,followed by a sequential process of functionalization utilizing ultrasonication treatment and in situ polymerization growth.Electrospun polyurethane(PU)microfibers were anchored with multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs)to form conductive paths along each fiber by a scalable ultrasonic cavitation treatment in an MWCNT suspension.After,a layer of poly(3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene)(PEDOT)was grown on the surface of PU fibers decorated with MWCNTs to enhance the conductive conjunctions of MWCNTs.Due to the superior electromechanical behaviors and mechanical reinforcement of PEDOT,the PEDOT/MWCNT@PU mat-based device exhibits a wide working range(0–70 kPa),high sensitivity(1.6 kPa−1),and good mechanical robustness(over 18,000 cycles).The PEDOT/MWCNT@PU mat-based sensor also demonstrates a good linear response to different temperature variations because of the thermoelectricity of the PEDOT/MWCNT composite.This novel strategy for the fabrication of multifunctional fibrous mats provides a promising opportunity for future applications for high-performance wearable devices.Yunyun Luo Libo Zhao Guoxi Luo Linxi Dong Yong Xia Min Li Ziping Li Kaifei Wang Ryutaro Maeda Zhuangde Jiang 2023Microsystems & Nanoengineering2023,9,5:0
14Risk factors for anastomotic leakage after low anterior resection without diversional stomas显示文摘Objective The most important complication after low anterior resection(LAR) for mid-low rectal cancer is symptomatic anastomotic leakage(AL). More than one-third of patients with rectal cancer who underwent LAR will have functional stomas during primary operation. The aim of this retrospective study was to evaluate the risk factors associated with clinical AL following LAR without diversional stomas.Methods Between 2012 and 2017, information about 578 consecutive patients with rectal tumors less than 12 cm from the anal verge who underwent LAR without diversional stomas by the same surgical team was collected retrospectively. A standardized extraperitonealized anastomosis and pelvic drainage were conducted for all patients during primary operations, and the outcome of interest was clinical AL. The associations between AL and 14 patient-related and surgical variables were examined by both univariate chi-square test and multivariate logistic regression analysis.Results The AL rate was 7.27%(42 of 578). Univariate and multivariate analyses showed that male sex(P = 0.018), mid-low rectal cancer(located 10 cm or less above the anal verge)(P = 0.041), presence of diabetes(odds ratio = 2.117), longer duration of operation(odds ratio = 1.890), and intraoperative contamination(odds ratio = 2.163) were risk factors of AL for LAR without diversional stoma and independently predictive of clinical AL. Nearly 83.3%(35 of 42) of leakage could be cured by persistent pelvic irrigation-suction-drainage without surgical intervention. Only 7 patients(16.7%) with severe complications, such as peritonitis, and fistula, required reoperation, and functional stoma was used as a salvage treatment.Conclusion From the findings of this retrospective survey, we identified that mid-low rectal cancer and male sex were independent risk factors for developing clinical AL after LAR without diversional stomas, as well as longer duration of operation, presence of diabetes, and contamination of the operative field. Moreover, we deemed that LAR without diversional stomas for mid-low rectal cancers was safe, effective, and feasible. Extraperitonealized anastomosis and pelvic drainage obtained a relatively low rate of AL and avoided unnecessary functional stomas. 15A novel bat coronavirus with a polybasic furin-like cleavage site显示文摘The current pandemic of COVID-19 caused by a novel coronavirus,severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2(SARS-CoV-2),threatens human health around the world.Of particular concern is that bats are recognized as one of the most potential natural hosts of SARS-CoV-2;however,coronavirus ecology in bats is still nascent.Here,we performed a degenerate primer screening and next-generation sequencing analysis of 112 bats,collected from Hainan Province,China.Three coronaviruses,namely bat betacoronavirus(Bat CoV)CD35,Bat CoV CD36 and bat alpha-coronavirus CD30 were identified.Bat CoV CD35 genome had 99.5%identity with Bat CoV CD36,both sharing the highest nucleotide identity with Bat Hp-betacoronavirus Zhejiang2013(71.4%),followed by SARS-CoV-2(54.0%).Phylogenetic analysis indicated that Bat CoV CD35 formed a distinct clade,and together with Bat Hp-betacoronavirus Zhejiang2013,was basal to the lineage of SARS-CoV-1 and SARS-CoV-2.Notably,Bat CoV CD35 harbored a canonical furin-like S1/S2 cleavage site that resembles the corresponding sites of SARS-CoV-2.The furin cleavage sites between CD35 and CD36 are identical.In addition,the receptor-binding domain of Bat CoV CD35 showed a highly similar structure to that of SARS-CoV-1 and SARS-CoV-2,especially in one binding loop.In conclusion,this study deepens our understanding of the diversity of coronaviruses and provides clues about the natural origin of the furin cleavage site of SARS-CoV-2.Wentao Zhu Yuyuan Huang Jian Gong Lingzhi Dong Xiaojie Yu Haiyun Chen Dandan Li Libo Zhou Jing Yang Shan Lu 2023Virologica Sinica2023,38,3:0
16Preliminary security investigation and short-time follow-up of intraoperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy with lobaplatin for advanced colorectal cancer显示文摘Objective The aim of this study was to conduct a security assessment of intraoperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy using lobaplatin for advanced colorectal cancer.Methods From February 2015 to February 2016,143 patients with colorectal cancer who underwent surgery in our department were selected prospectively.All patients were randomly screened and enrolled into the intraperitoneal chemotherapy(IPC)(74 cases)and control(69 cases)groups,depending on the distribution of cases in the random table.In the trial group,patients were administered 40 mg lobaplatin by intraperitoneal implantation intraoperatively,together with intravenous chemotherapy post-operatively using a typical FOLFOX strategy with oxaliplatin,fluorouracil,and leucovorin.In the control group,only FOLFOX was administered.Bowel function recovery time,adverse reactions and complications,and preand post-chemotherapy laboratory examinations were compared.In addition,a 5-year-long follow-up was performed.Results Recovery times of bowel function were 73.5±9.7 h and 74.8±10.3 h respectively,and the difference was not significant(P>0.05).Wound fat liquefaction was observed in five cases in both groups(6.8%vs.7.2%,P>0.05).The outcomes of nausea and vomiting(57 cases,77.0%vs.50 cases,72.5%),constipation(43 cases,58.1%vs.36 cases,52.2%),and diarrhea(5 cases,6.8%vs.5 cases,7.2%)were not statistically significant(all P>0.05).Indices of white blood cell count,blood platelet count,and hepatorenal function were not significantly different(all P>0.05)neither post-operatively nor post-chemotherapy.The 5-year survival rate was not significantly different between the groups(58.1%vs.56.5%,P>0.05).Conclusion Intraoperative chemotherapy with lobaplatin for advanced colorectal cancer is safe and tolerable.Qin Li Xianrong Li Libo Feng Xiaolong Chen Dong Xia Linxia Xu 2023Oncology and Translational Medicine2023,9,2:0
17Arsenic removal from acidic industrial wastewater by ultrasonic activated phosphorus pentasulfide显示文摘Arsenic is one of the main harmful elements in industrial wastewater.How to remove arsenic has always been one of the research hotspots in academic circles.In the process of arsenic removal by traditional sulfuration,the use of traditional sulfurizing agent will introduce new metal cations,which will affect the recycling of acid.In this study,phosphorus pentasulfide (P_(2)S_(5)) was used as sulfurizing agent,which hydrolyzed to produce H_(3)PO_(4) and H_(2)S without introducing new metal cations.The effect of ultrasound on arsenic removal by P_(2)S_(5) was studied.Under the action of ultrasound,the utilization of P_(2)S_(5) was improved and the reaction time was shortened.The effects of S/As molar ratio and reaction time on arsenic removal rate were investigated under ultrasonic conditions.Ultrasonic enhanced heat and mass transfer so that the arsenic removal rate of 94.5%could be achieved under the conditions of S/As molar ratio of 2.1:1 and reaction time of 20 min.In the first 60 min,under the same S/As molar ratio and reaction time,the ultrasonic hydrolysis efficiency of P_(2)S_(5) was higher.This is because P_(2)S_(5) forms ([(P_(2)S_(4))])^(2+)under the ultrasonic action,and the structure is damaged,which is easier to be hydrolyzed.In addition,the precipitation after arsenic removal was characterized and analyzed by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscope-energy dispersive spectrometer,X-ray fluorescence spectrometer and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.Our research avoids the introduction of metal cations in the arsenic removal process,and shortens the reaction time.Bo Yu Guang Fu Xinpei Li Libo Zhang Jing Li Hongtao Qu Dongbin Wang Qingfeng Dong Mengmeng Zhang 2023Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2023,60,8:0

20Highly Anisotropic Magnetism and Nearly Isotropic Magnetocaloric Effect in Mn_(3)Sn_(2)Single Crystals显示文摘Mn_(3)Sn_(2)has been proposed as an ideal material for magnetic refrigeration.It undergoes two successive ferromagnetic transitions(T_(C1)=262 K and T_(C2)=227 K)and one antiferromagnetic transition(TN=192 K).Herein we report,for the first time,the preparation of single crystals of Mn_(3)Sn_(2)from Bi flux.The resultant anisotropic magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effect are investigated along the three principal crystallographic directions of the crystal.Significant anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility and multiple field-induced metamagnetic transitions were found at low fields,whereas the magnetocaloric effect was found to be almost isotropic and larger than that of the polycrystalline one.The maximum magnetic entropy change amounts to-ΔSM=4.01 J·kg^(-1)·K^(-1)near T_(C1)under a magnetic field change of μ_(0)ΔH=5 T along the c-axis,with the corresponding refrigerant capacity of 1750 mJ·cm^(-3).Combined with a much wider cooling temperature span(~80 K),our results demonstrate Mn_(3)Sn_(2)single crystal to be an attractive candidate working material for active magnetic refrigeration at low temperatures.Jianli Bai Qingxin Dong Libo Zhang Qiaoyu Liu Jingwen Cheng Pinyu Liu Cundong Li Yingrui Sun Yu Huang Zhian Ren Genfu Chen 2023Chinese Physics Letters2023,40,12:0
