2Recent advances in energy storage mechanism of aqueous zinc-ion batteries显示文摘Aqueous rechargeable zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs)have recently attracted increasing research interest due to their unparalleled safety,fantastic cost competitiveness and promising capacity advantages compared with the commercial lithium ion batteries.However,the disputed energy storage mechanism has been a confusing issue restraining the development of ZIBs.Although a lot of efforts have been dedicated to the exploration in battery chemistry,a comprehensive review that focuses on summarizing the energy storage mechanisms of ZIBs is needed.Herein,the energy storage mechanisms of aqueous rechargeable ZIBs are systematically reviewed in detail and summarized as four types,which are traditional Zn^(2+)insertion chemistry,dual ions co-insertion,chemical conversion reaction and coordination reaction of Zn^(2+)with organic cathodes.Furthermore,the promising exploration directions and rational prospects are also proposed in this review.Duo Chen Mengjie Lu Dong Cai Hang Yang Wei Han 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,3:12

4Solvent-free nanocasting toward universal synthesis of ordered mesoporous transition metal sulfide@N-doped carbon composites for electrochemical applications显示文摘Transition metal sulfides (TMSs) have a wide range of applications owing to their intriguing properties.Significant efforts have been devoted to nanostructuring TMSs to enhance their properties and performance,still there is a high need in general synthesis of TMS nanostructures.Herein,for the first time,a simple solvent free reactive nanocasting approach that integrates solid precursor loading,in-situ sulfuration and carbonization into a single heating step is developed for the universal synthesis of ordered mesoporous TMS@N-doped carbon composites (denoted as OM-TMS@NCs) with methionine (Met) and metal chlorides as the precursors and the mesoporous silica (SBA-15) as the hard template.A series of OM-TMS@NCs with a hexagonal mesostructure,ultra-high surface areas (430-754 m2·g-1),large pore volumes (0.85-1.32 cm3·g-1),and unique TMS stoichiometries,including MoS2,Fe7S8,Co9S8,NiS,Cu7S4 and ZnS,are obtained.Two distinct structure configurations,namely,highly dispersed ultrathin TMS nanosheets within NCs and TMS@NC co-nanowire arrays,can be obtained depending on different metals.The structure evolution of the OM-TMS@NCs over the solvent-free nanocasting process is studied in detail for a deep understanding of the synthesis.As demonstrations,these materials are promising for electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction and lithium ion storage with high performances.Jiahui Zhu Zhi Chen Lin Jia Yuqi Lu Xiangru Wei Xiaoning Wang Winston Duo Wu Na Han Yanguang Li Zhangxiong Wu 2019Nano Research2019,12,9:5
5Ammonia-treatment assisted fully encapsulation of Fe_2O_3 nanoparticles in mesoporous carbons as stable anodes for lithium ion batteries显示文摘To improve the initial coulombic efficiency and bulk density of ordered mesoporous carbons, active Fe2O3 nanoparticles were introduced into tubular mesopore channels of CMK-5 carbon, which possesses high specific surface area (>1700 m 2 g-1 ) and large pore volume (>1.8 cm 3 g-1 ). Fine Fe2O3 nanoparticles with sizes in the range of 5 7 nm were highly and homogenously encapsulated into CMK-5 matrix through ammonia-treatment and subsequent pyrolysis method. The Fe2O3 loading was carefully tailored and designed to warrant a high Fe2O3 content and adequate buffer space for improving the electrochemical performance. In particular, such Fe2O3 and mesoporous carbon composite with 47 wt% loading exhibits a considerably stable cycle performance (683 mAh g-1 after 100 cycles, 99% capacity retention against that of the second cycle) as well as good rate capability. 6A survey on recent progress in control of swarm systems显示文摘It has been witnessed that swarm systems are superior to individual agents in performing complicated tasks. In recent years, new results in some branches of control for swarm systems have developed and investigated with respect to various objectives and scenarios. This survey is to take a glimpse into some newly developed control techniques for swarm systems, especially those presented after 2013. The covered topics include some up-to-date progress in the areas of consensus, formation, flocking, containment, optimal coverage/mission planning, and sensor networks. 7Characterization of insoluble dietary fiber from Pleurotus eryngii and evaluation of its effects on obesity-preventing or relieving effects via modulation of gut microbiota显示文摘The purpose of this study was to evaluate the obesity preventing or relieving effect of insoluble dietary fiber(IDF)from Pleurotus eryngii through its modulations on intestinal microbiota.The IDF was extracted and structurally characterized through FTIR,X-Ray and thermogravimetric(TG)analysis.The mice for in vivo experiments were divided into obesity preventing group(feeding high-fat diet while gavage IDF simultaneously)and obesity relieving group(IDF intervention after the establishment of the obese model)to evaluate its hypolipidemic effect.Results:The yield of P.eryngii IDF extracts was 56.49%(on P.eryngii dry weight base)with IDF content of 85.15%in the extracts.The in vivo results showed that the body weight of the obesity-preventing groups was still increasing after intervention with IDF,but the growth rate was lowered,and the abnormal lipid metabolism and inflammation syndromes were alleviated;the acetic acid content of the medium and low dose dietary fiber intervention groups was significantly higher than that of the normal group,and the structure of the intestinal flora was improved.The mice weight from the obesity-relieving group decreased significantly.The abnormal lipid metabolism and inflammation were alleviated.In conclusion,The IDF intervention decreased the abnormal lipid metabolism and inflammation in both obesity-preventing and relieving experiments.The intestinal flora structure was obviously improved.P.eryngii IDF is a good candidate as hypolipidemic agent.Xiaoyun Han Duo Yang Song Zhang Xiaoli Liu Yuelong Zhao Chunyue Song Qingshen Sun 2023Journal of Future Foods2023,3,1:2
8~1H NMR analysis of the tolylene-2,4-diisocyanate-methanol reaction显示文摘Tolylene-2,4-diisocyanate(2,4-TDI) 1 reacts with methanol through two simultaneous paths in the polyurethane reaction,which involve two different intermediates-tolylene-4-carbamatic-2-isocyanate 2 and tolylene-2-carbamatic-4-isocyanate 3,and the final product is tolylene-2,4-dicarbamate 4.The-CH_3 chemical shifts in benzene ring in compounds 1,2,3 and 4 can be easily tested and well distinguished,through which those four compounds are quantified and their kinetics are investigated.It shows that four rate constants for the tolylene-2,4-diisocyanate-methanol reaction in CCl_4 at 50℃are k_1=9.6×10^(-2)h^(-2)mol^(-2)min^(-1), k_2=1.4×10^(-2)h^(-2)mol^(-2)min^(-1),k_3=4.0×10^(-3)h^(-2)mol^(-2)min^(-1),k_4=1.4×10^(-3)h^(-2)mol^(-2)min^(-1).(k_1 is the reaction rate constant from compounds 1 to 2;k_2 is the reaction rate constant from compounds 1 to 3;k_3 is the reaction rate constant from compounds 3 to 4;k_4 is the reaction rate constant from compounds 2 to 4).Peng Fei Yang Yong De Han Tian Duo Li Jun Ying Li 2010Chinese Chemical Letters2010,21,7:2
9Correlates of HIV infection among transgender women in two Chinese cities显示文摘Background:In an era when HIV transmission has been on the rise among men who have sex with men(MSM),transgender women may play a considerable role in China’s current HIV epidemic as a potential“bridge”of HIV transmission between homosexual and heterosexual populations.We sought to understand the risk behaviours and factors associated with HIV infection among transgender women in two cities in China.Methods:From January to December 2016,we recruited transgender women with the help of community-based organizations(CBOs)through a wide range of methods,including snowball sampling.After recruitment,we asked participants to fill out a structured questionnaire including questions about socio-demographics,sexual behaviours,condom use,substance use and uptake of health care services.HIV infection status was determined by using two different rapid testing reagents.Results:Among 498 subjects enrolled in this study,233 were from Shanghai and 265 were from Tianjin.The median age was 30 years(range:18-68;IQR:24-33).Of them,337(67.7%)preferred feminine dress,13(2.6%)had undergone transsexual operation and 68(13.7%)had used hormones for transition purposes.Nearly half(45.6%)reported having regular partners,and 351(70.5%)had casual partners.Regarding condom use,81.5%reported not always using condoms with stable partners,and 70.9%reported not using condoms with casual partners.Twentyfive(5.0%)had a history of buying sex and fifty-one(10.2%)had a history of selling sex in the past three months.A total of 200(40.2%)participants had used at least one kind of controlled substance in the past six months.The most commonly used substances were amyl nitrates(rush popper)(99.5%)and 5-MeO-DiPT(20.0%).Among rush popper users,170(85.4%)reported always having sex while on the drug,and 177(88.9%)reported increased sexual pleasure after using the drug.The HIV infection risk factors identified in our study were being located in Shanghai(aOR=9.35,95%CI=3.89-22.49),selling sex in the past three months(aOR=3.44,95%CI=1.31-9.01),and substance use in the past six months(aOR=5.71,95%CI=2.63-12.41).Conclusions:Transgender women bear a high HIV burden in the two Chinese cities.Those involved in commercial sex tended to have inconsistent condom use,leading to high risk of HIV infection.Substance use was an independent risk factor of HIV infection by increasing sexual activities and unprotected sex,which indicated an aggravated and complex situation with possible interacting syndemic factors that could cumulatively facilitate sexual risk behaviours and HIV infection in transgender women.There is an urgent need for innovative and appropriate HIV prevention programmes targeting this unique population.Efforts should be made to provide them with tailored services including persuasive communication on consistent condom use,substance use counselling and related referral services,all with the goal of reducing HIV epidemic among transgender women.Duo Shan Mao-He Yu Jie Yang Ming-Hua Zhuang Zhen Ning Hui Liu Lu Liu Meng-Jie Han Da-Peng Zhang 2018Infectious Diseases of Poverty2018,7,1:1

11A novel xeno-free culture system for human retinal pigment epithelium cells显示文摘AIM: To find out an animal-free, xeno-free culture method for human fetal retinal pigment epithelium(fRPE) cells aiming for cell-replacement therapy. METHODS: Human AB serum, knock-out serum replacement(KSR) and B27 were supplemented as a substitute of fetal bovine serum(FBS) in culture medium of human fRPE cells. Cell morphology was examined by light microscope and transmission electron microscope. Proliferation ability was detected by cell cycle analysis and examination of KI67 expression. Apoptosis was analyzed using FACS. The expression ofRPE-specific markers was demonstrated by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qPCR), Western blot(WB) and immunocytochemistry. Paracrine function was determined using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method.RESULTS: Our results indicated that the optimum concentration of KSR was 15%, the optimum concentration of B27 was 2%, and the optimum concentration of human AB serum was 10%. fRPE cells cultured in 15% KSR and 2% B27 media showed repressed propagation and differentiation ability, and gradually lost epithelial morphology and RPE function. While fRPE cells cultured in 10% human AB serum media showed a typical cobblestone morphology with pigmentation, elevated proliferation ability, satisfying paracrine function and expressed RPE-specific markers. 14DSCR9/miR-21-5p axis inhibits pancreatic cancer proliferation and resistance to gemcitabine via BTG2 signaling显示文摘The outcome of pancreatic adenocarcinoma(PAAD)patients is poor,given resistance to gemcitabine.Long noncoding RNA(lncRNA)has been implicated in the carcinogenesis of pancreatic cancer;however,its function and mechanism in PAAD resistance to gemcitabine(GEM)are yet unknown.Herein,we demonstrate that lncRNA DSCR9 is significantly reduced in PAAD in vitro and in vivo.CCK-8,BrdU and flow cytometry assays show that overexpression of DSCR9 markedly suppresses pancreatic cancer cell proliferation and invasion,and promotes apoptosis under gemcitabine treatment.BTG2 acts as a tumor suppressor by reducing the proliferation and invasion of pancreatic cancer cells and increasing gemcitabine-induced apoptosis.Immunofluorescence(IF)staining combined with fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH)of pancreatic cancer tissues shows that DSCR9 and BTG2 are both increased in pancreatic cancer tissues.Luciferase assay shows that miR-21-5p simultaneously binds to DSCR9 and 3′UTR of BTG2;DSCR9 relieves miR-21-5p-induced inhibition of BTG2 by competing with BTG2 for miR-21-5p binding.Overexpression of miR-21-5p enhances the invasiveness of pancreatic cancer cells by promoting cancer cell proliferation and invasion and attenuating gemcitabine-induced apoptosis.Overexpression of miR-21-5p attenuates the effect of DSCR9 overexpression on BTG2 expression and invasiveness of pancreatic cancer cells.Finally,miR-21-5p expression is increased,while BTG2 expression is decreased in pancreatic cancer tissues.miR-21-5p is negatively correlated with DSCR9 and BTG2.In conclusion,the DSCR9/miR-21-5p/BTG2 axis modulates pancreatic cancer proliferation,invasion,and gemcitabine resistance.Hui Huang Xia Li Xianlin Zhang Zhiqiang Li Duo Han Wenzhe Gao Ling Liu Cheng Peng Hongwei Zhu Xiao Yu 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,12:1

17Control Aggregation of P3HT in Solution for High Efficiency Doping:Ensuring Structural Order and the Distribution of Dopants显示文摘Molecular doping is one of the most important tools to manipulate the electrical properties of conjugated polymers for application in organic optoelectronics.The polymer crystallinity and distribution position of the dopant crucially determine electrical conductivity of the doped polymer.However,in solution-mixed doping,the interplay between polymer and dopant leads to highly structural disorder of polymer and random arrangement of dopant.Here,we propose a strategy to ensure the dopant induced polarons have high charge dissociation and transport by letting the conjugated polymers aggregate in the marginal solvent solution by cooling it from higher temperature to room temperature.We select poly(3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl)(P3HT)solution doped by 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro-7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane(F4TCNQ)as a model system.P3HT crystallizes in the marginal solvent,such as 1,1,2-trichloroethane(TCE)driven by the favorπ-πinteraction between planar polymer backbone.The dopant F4TCNQ enters the alkyl side chain region not theπ-πstacking region and thus guarantees high crystallinity and theπ-πinteraction of P3HT.This distribution of F4TCNQ which away from the polymer backbone to ensure higher charge dissociation and transport.Finally,we obtained a high conductivity value of 23 S/cm by doping P3HT with 20%F4TCNQ by using the marginal solvent,which is higher than doping P3HT with a disordered coil conformation in chlorobenzene(CB)of 7 S/cm,which the dopants enter both the alkyl side chain region and theπ-πstacking region.Duo Liu Jun-Hang Li Si-Chun Wang Lu Zhang Xin-Yu Liu Qiang Zhang Yan-Chun Han 2023Chinese Journal of Polymer Science2023,41,5:0
18A novel selective ERK1/2 inhibitor,Laxiflorin B,targets EGFR mutation subtypes in non-small-cell lung cancer显示文摘Extracellular regulated protein kinases 1/2(ERK1/2)are key members of multiple signaling pathways,including the ErbB axis.Ectopic ERK1/2 activation contributes to various types of cancer,especially drug resistance to inhibitors of RTK,RAF and MEK,and specific ERK1/2 inhibitors are scarce.In this study,we identified a potential novel covalent ERK inhibitor,Laxiflorin B,which is a herbal compound with anticancer activity.However,Laxiflorin B is present at low levels in herbs;therefore,we adopted a semi-synthetic process for the efficient production of Laxiflorin B to improve the yield.Laxiflorin B induced mitochondria-mediated apoptosis via BAD activation in non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC)cells,especially in EGFR mutant subtypes.Transcriptomic analysis suggested that Laxiflorin B inhibits amphiregulin(AREG)and epiregulin(EREG)expression through ERK inhibition,and suppressed the activation of their receptors,ErbBs,via a positive feedback loop.Moreover,mass spectrometry analysis combined with computer simulation revealed that Laxiflorin B binds covalently to Cys-183 in the ATP-binding pocket of ERK1 via the D-ring,and Cys-178 of ERK1 through non-inhibitory binding of the A-ring.In a NSCLC tumor xenograft model in nude mice,Laxiflorin B also exhibited strong tumor suppressive effects with low toxicity and AREG and EREG were identified as biomarkers of Laxiflorin B efficacy.Finally,Laxiflorin B-4,a C-6 analog of Laxiflorin B,exhibited higher binding affinity for ERK1/2 and stronger tumor suppression.These findings provide a new approach to tumor inhibition using natural anticancer compounds.Cheng-Yao Chiang Min Zhang Junrong Huang Juan Zeng Chunlan Chen Dongmei Pan Heng Yang Tiantian Zhang Min Yang Qiangqiang Han Zou Wang Tian Xiao Yangchao Chen Yongdong Zou Feng Yin Zigang Li Lizhi Zhu Duo Zheng 2024Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2024,45,2:0
19HIV incidenee and risk factors among transgender women and cisgender men who have sex with men in two cities of China:a prospective cohort study显示文摘Background:HIV epidemic among men who have sex with men(MSM)remains a major public health concern in China.Despite a growing body of research on transgender women worldwide,little is known about Chinese transgender women within MSM.We sought to estimate HIV incidence and distinguish risk factors of HIV acquisition among them from that among cisgener(non-transgender)MSM(cis-MSM).Methods:We conducted an open cohort study among Chinese MSM,including those who were identifed as transgender in Shanghai and Tianjin.Participants were initially recruited by local community-based organizations from January to June,2016,and were followed up approximately every 6 months until June 2018.At each visit,a structured questionnaire was used to gather information on demographics,sexual risk behaviors,and HIV status.HIV incidence was calculated as the number of seroconversions divided by total number of person-years of follow-up among HIV-negatives at baseline.Risk factors of HIV acquisition were assessed by univariate and multivariate Cox regression models with time-dependent variables.Results:A total of 1056 participants contributed 1260.53 person-years(PYs)of follow-up,33 HIV seroconversions occurred during the follow-up period,yielding an estimated HIV incidence of 2.62(95%CI 1.80–3.68)per 100 PYs.HIV incidence among transgender women was 4.42 per 100 PYs,which was signifcantly higher than that of 1.35 per 100 PYs among cis-MSM,demonstrating a threefold higher odds of HIV infection than cis-MSM.For transgender women,those lived locally≤2 years(adjusted hazard ratio[aHR]=1.76,95%CI 1.13–2.76)and unprotected anal sex last time(aHR=4.22,95%CI 1.82–9.79)were more likely to acquire HIV.For cis-MSM,factors associated with HIV acquisition were frequency of anal sex≥3 times in past one month(aHR=4.19,95%CI 1.06–16.47)and unprotected anal sex last time(aHR=5.33,95%CI 1.52–18.73).Conclusions:Compared to cis-MSM,transgender women were at higher risk of HIV acquisition,highlighting an urgent need of tailored prevention.Future HIV program should consider to include them to ensure that this population in China are not left behind.Duo Shan Zhen Ning Maohe Yu Huang Zheng Jie Yang Hui Gong Jian Li Hui Liu Lu Liu Vania Wang Xiong Ran Mengjie Han Dapeng Zhang 2022Infectious Diseases of Poverty2022,11,2:0
