| 5 | Exhumation history of the Huangshan granite pluton,southern Anhui Province:New insights from fission-track analysis显示文摘The dating of the uplift onset of the Huangshan pluton in the southern part of Anhui Province associated with the collision between paleo-Pacific Block and the Eurasian Block is a fundamental issue to better understand the uplift mechanisms and the regional tectonic evolution.χ2 values of seven zircon fission track(ZFT) samples collected from the south part of the Huangshan pluton were all<5%.Based on the grain ages of four typical ZFT samples,three thermal overprints ranging in 113-123,72-95 and 49-66 Ma were distinguished respectively using the binomial peak-fitting method in accordance with the tectonic thermal events after south China shifted into circum-Pacific tectonic region.Apatite fission track(AFT) study of the Huangshan pluton shows ages lie between 15±3 and 56±6 Ma with allχ2 values>5%,and all are significantly younger than their host rock formation ages,indicating that the samples have experienced post-formation thermal history.Based on the AFT results and topography characteristics in the Huangshan pluton,three zones with different denudation intensities caused by the differential uplift of the fault blocks were recognized in this paper,indicating that denudation was driven by the increase in elevation significantly.Modeling of the AFT data shows that the earlier cooling phase took place in the early Cenozoic and involved 3.3,3.8 and 6.0°C/Ma of cooling rates equivalent to the exhumation rates of 90,104 and 167 m/Ma in different fault blocks.The last phase of cooling took place from~10 Ma with average cooling rate of~5.6°C/Ma,equivalent to average denudation rates of~156 m/Ma.The fission track results imply that the regional compression field plays an important role for the differential exhumation between individual fault blocks of the Huangshan pluton. | ZHENG Yong YU XinQi YUAN WanMing WANG De'En JIANG GongBing ZHU DeLai WANG Cheng JIA YingYing | 2011 | Science China Earth Sciences2011,54,4: | 3 |

| 7 | A power adjustment based e ICIC algorithm for hyper-dense Het Nets considering the alteration of user association显示文摘This paper evaluates power adjustment based enhanced inter-cell interference coordination(e ICIC)problem in the hyper-dense Het Net under the practical serving cell selection rule where each user selects the base station with the strongest received signal power as its serving cell while the alteration of the serving cell happens during the power adjusting process. In this paper, the e ICIC problem is solved by cooperatively adjusting the transmission power of all small cells. A power adjustment method based on modified particle swarm optimization(MPSO) is proposed to tackle the NP-hard e ICIC problem caused by the alteration of the serving cell, and considering the drawbacks of MPSO, an improved MPSO is proposed for effective algorithm.Local search and multi-restart process are introduced in the improved MPSO based e ICIC algorithm to guarantee the local and then global optimality, and the convergence conditions and the global optimality are proved by mathematical deduction to guide the selection of the parameters. Simulations show that, while considering the fifty-picocell case as an example, the proposed improved MPSO based e ICIC algorithm can increase the system throughput by 66.0% compared with the full power transmission, and compared with the existing schemes which do not alter the serving cells, the proposed algorithm can improve the system throughput by 32.2%. | 9 | Review on structural control and modification of graphene oxide-based membranes in water treatment: From separation performance to robust operation显示文摘Membrane separation has become an important technology to deal with the global water crisis. The polymerbased membrane technology is currently in the forefront of water purification and desalination but is plagued with some bottlenecks. Laminated graphene oxide(GO) membranes exhibit excellent advantages in water purification and desalination due to the single atomic layer structure, hydrophilic property, rich oxygen-containing groups for modification, mechanical and chemical robust, anti-fouling properties, facile and large-scale production, etc. Thus the GO-based membrane technology is believed to offer huge opportunities for efficient and practical water treatment. This review systematically summarizes the current progress on the water flux and selectivity intensification, stability improvement, anti-fouling and anti-biofouling ability enhancement by structural control and modification. To improve the performance of the laminated GO membrane, interlayer spacing tunability and surface modification are mainly used to enhance its water flux and selectivity. It is found that the stability and biofouling also block the service life of the GO membrane. The crosslinking method is found to effectively solve the stability of GO membrane in aqueous environment. Introducing nanoparticles is a widely used method to improve the membrane biofouling ability. | 11 | Experimental research on solidification structure of alloy 800H by linear electromagnetic stirring显示文摘The solidifi cation structures of alloy 800 H fabricated with and without linear electromagnetic stirring(L-EMS) were investigated. The results show that the solidification structure of the alloy can be obviously affected by the forced convection in melt caused by L-EMS. The average size of equiaxed grains of the alloy with L-EMS decreases from 3.5 mm to 2.3 mm, and the ratio of equiaxed grain increases from 5% to 43% compared with that without L-EMS. The microstructure of the alloy without L-EMS is composed of f ine equiaxed dendrites in the outermost layer and columnar dendrites in other areas, whereas that with L-EMS contains equiaxed dendrites, columnar dendrites and cross dendrites. | 15 | The application of proton spectrometers at the SG-III facility for ICF implosion areal density diagnostics显示文摘Charged particle diagnostics is one of the required techniques for implosion areal density diagnostics at the SG-III facility.Several proton spectrometers are under development, and some preliminary areal density diagnostics have been carried out. The response of the key detector, CR39, to charged particles was investigated in detail. A new track profile simulation code based on a semi-empirical model was developed. The energy response of the CR39 detector was calibrated with the accelerator protons and alphas from a241 Am source. A proton spectrometer based on the filtered CR39 detector was developed, and D–D primary proton measurements were implemented. A step range filter spectrometer was developed,and preliminary areal density diagnostics was carried out. A wedged range filter spectrometer array made of Si with a higher resolution was designed and developed at the SG-III facility. A particle response simulation code by the Monte Carlo method and a spectra unfolding code were developed. | 19 | Superior performance of a 2 kHz pulse Nd:YAG laser based on a gradient-doped crystal显示文摘Herein,we report a homemade new Nd:YAG crystal rod that contains a gradient dopant of 0.39–0.80 at.%Nd3+ from end to end,achieving superior performance of a 2 kHz Nd:YAG pulse laser at 1064 nm. The optical-tooptical conversion efficiency reached 53.8%,and the maximum output power of the laser was 24.2 W,enhanced by 35.9% compared with a uniform crystal rod with the same total concentration of Nd3+. Significantly,our experiments revealed that the gradient concentration crystal produced a relatively even pumping distribution along the rod axis,greatly reducing the temperature gradient as well as having a smaller thermal effect.
