3Ultrasonic vibration assisted tungsten inert gas welding of dissimilar magnesium alloys显示文摘The effects of ultrasonic vibration assisted(UVA) treatment on the microstructures and mechanical properties of MB3/AZ31 dissimilar magnesium(Mg) alloy joints were studied by microstructural characterization, micro-hardness testing and tensile testing. Results indicate that the welding pores are eliminated and coarse a-Mg grains of fusion zone are refined to 26 μm, owing to the acoustic streaming effect and cavitation effect induced by the UVA treatment with an optimal ultrasonic power of 1.0 kW.In addition, Mg_(17)Al_(12) precipitation phases are fine and uniformly distributed in the whole fusion zone of weldment. Micro-hardness of fusion zone of the Mg alloy joints increases to 53.5 HV after UVA process,and the maximum tensile strength with optimized UVA treatment increases to 263 MPa, which leads to fracture occurrence in the Mg alloy base plate. 4The influence of pore size distribution on thermal conductivity,permeability, and phase change behavior of hierarchical porous materials显示文摘Porous foams have been widely employed to improve heat storage rate and prevent leakage of phase change materials(PCMs).Actual porous foams have non-uniform or hierarchical pore size distribution, which is usually neglected in most researches.Here, we establish hierarchical porous models considering different pore size distributions by using Voronoi tessellations. Effects of pore size distribution on thermal conductivity, permeability, and phase change behavior of hierarchical porous foams/PCMs composites are investigated. Uneven pore size distributions are found to decrease the thermal conductivity of porous foams to some extent. On the other hand, the permeability can be reduced by 27.6%, and the heat storage rate can be improved by 7.7% by introducing moderate hierarchy without changing the total porosity. 5A comparison of summer precipitation structures over the South China Sea and the East China Sea based on tropical rainfall measurement mission显示文摘The three-dimensional structures of summer precipitation over the South China Sea(SCS)and the East China Sea(ECS)are investigated based on tropical rainfall measurement mission(TRMM).The primary results are as follows.First,both the convective and stratiform precipitation rates in the SCS are much higher than those of the ECS.The contribution of the convective cloud precipitation to the surface precipitation is primarily over the SCS and the ECS with a proportion of about 70%,but the contribution of convective cloud precipitation is slightly larger in the SCS than the ECS.The contribution of stratus precipitation is slightly larger in the ECS than that in the SCS.Second,the content of cloud particles and precipitation particles in the ECS in June was greater than that in the SCS,while in July and August,the content of cloud and precipitation particles in the ECS was less than that in the SCS.Third,the latent heat profile of the ECS is quite different from that of the SCS.In June,the peak values of evaporation and condensation latent heating rates in the ECS are greater than those in the SCS.In July and August,however,the peak values of evaporation and condensation latent heating rates in the ECS are about 0.05/h less than those in the SCS.LI Jiangnan YANG Chaofeng LI Fangzhou HE Qihua LI Weibiao 2013Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,11:3
6Evidence for the paternal mitochondrial DNA in the crucian carp-like fish lineage with hybrid origin显示文摘In terms of taxonomic status,common carp(Cyprinus carpio,Cyprininae)and crucian carp(Carassius auratus,Cyprininae)are different species;however,in this study,a newborn homodiploid crucian carp-like fish(2n=100)(2nNCRC)lineage(F1–F3)was established from the interspecific hybridization of female common carp(2n=100)×male blunt snout bream(Megalobrama amblycephala,Cultrinae,2n=48).The phenotypes and genotypes of 2 n NCRC differed from those of its parents but were closely related to those of the existing diploid crucian carp.We further sequenced the whole mitochondrial(mt)genomes of the 2n NCRC lineage from F1 to F3.The paternal mt DNA fragments were stably embedded in the mt-genomes of F1–F3 generations of 2n NCRC to form chimeric DNA fragments.Along with this chimeric process,numerous base sites of F1–F3 generations of 2 n NCRC underwent mutations.Most of these mutation sites were consistent with the existing diploid crucian carp.Moreover,the mt DNA organization and nucleotide composition of 2n NCRC were more similar to those of the existing diploid crucian carp than those of the parents.The inheritable chimeric DNA fragments and mutant loci in the mt-genomes of different generations of 2nNCRC provided important evidence of the mt DNA change process in the newborn lineage derived from hybridization of different species.Our findings demonstrated for the first time that the paternal mt DNA were transmitted into the mt-genomes of homodiploid lineage,which provided new insights into the existence of paternal mt DNA in the mt DNA inheritance.Shi Wang Ni Jiao Lu Zhao Meiwen Zhang Pei Zhou Xuexue Huang Fangzhou Hu Conghui Yang Yuqin Shu Wuhui Li Chun Zhang Min Tao Bo Chen Ming Ma Shaojun Liu 2020Science China(Life Sciences)2020,63,1:2
7Achieving effective broadband microwave absorption with Fe_(3)O_(4)@C supraparticles显示文摘The X band(8 GHz-12 GHz)is the electromagnetic wave band emitted by most electronic instruments in our life,which will cause electromagnetic pollution harm to human health.Due to the coexistence of magnetic loss and dielectric loss,the modified Fe_(3)O_(4)-carbon-based nanomaterial exhibit strong electromagnetic(EM)wave absorptive capacity.However,there is a problem that the effective absorption bandwidth(EAB,the frequency bandwidth of reflection loss is less than-10 dB)of the X band is narrow.Increasing the EAB value of Fe_(3)O_(4)-carbon-based materials is of great significance for reducing electromagnetic pollution.Here,an emulsion-based self-assembly technique and ligand carbonization treatment have been used to construct the Fe_(3)O_(4)@C supraparticles for the evaluation of EM performance.The Fe_(3)O_(4)@C supraparticles exhibit excellent EM absorption properties,which can achieve full coverage of X band from 6.52 GHz to 12.9 GHz at a sample thickness of 3 mm.Besides,the optimum EAB value of Fe_(3)O_(4)@C supraparticles is up to 8.55 GHz from 9 to 18 GHz at a sample thickness of 2.5 mm.The Fe_(3)O_(4)@C supraparticles with superlattice structure will have potential development prospects in the application of broadband absorption.Li Su Jiaxin Ma Fangzhou Zhang Yuchi Fan Wei Luo Lianjun Wang Wan Jiang Jianping Yang 2021Journal of Materiomics2021,7,1:2

9Fiber Materials for Electrocatalysis Applications显示文摘Fiber materials are promising for electrocatalysis applications due to their structural features including high surface area,controllable chemical compositions,and abundant composite forms.In the past decade,considerable research efforts have been devoted to construct advanced fiber materials possessing conductive network(to facilitate efficient electron transport)and large specific surface area(to support massive catalytically active sites)to boost electrocatalysis performance.Herein,we focused on recent advances in fiber-based electrocatalyst with enhanced electrocatalytic activity.Moreover,the synthesis,structure,and properties of fiber materials and their applications in hydrogen evolution reaction,oxygen evolution reaction,oxygen reduction reaction,carbon dioxide reduction reaction,and nitrogen reduction reaction are discussed.Finally,the research challenges and future prospects of fiber materials in electrocatalysis applications are proposed.Fangzhou Zhang Jun Chen Jianping Yang 2022Advanced Fiber Materials2022,4,4:1
10Biodegradation of typical azole fungicides in activated sludge under aerobic conditions显示文摘Widespread use of azole fungicides and low removal efficiency in wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs) have led to the elevated concentration of azole fungicides in receiving environment. However, there was limited research about the removal mechanism of azole fungicides in the biological treatment of WWTPs. Imidazole fungicide climbazole and triazole fungicide fluconazole were selected to investigate the biodegradation mechanism of azole fungicides in activated sludge under aerobic conditions. Climbazole was found to be adsorbed to solid sludge and resulted in quick biodegradation. The degradation of climbazole in the aerobic activated sludge system was fitted well by the first-order kinetic model with a half-life of 5.3 days, while fluconazole tended to stay in liquid and had only about 30% of loss within 77 days incubation. Ten biotransformation products of climbazole were identified by high resolution mass spectrometry using suspect and non-target screening method. But no biodegradation products of fluconazole were identified due to its limited removal. The possible biodegradation pathways for climbazole were proposed based on the products identification and pathway prediction system, and involves oxidative dehalogenation, side chain oxidation and azole ring loss. 11Efficient Photocatalytic Degradation of the Persistent PET Fiber‑Based Microplastics over Pt Nanoparticles Decorated N‑Doped TiO_(2) Nanoflowers显示文摘Fiber-based microplastics(FMPs)are highly persistent and ubiquitously exist in the wastewater of textile industry and urban sewage.It remains challenging to completely remove such newly emerged organic pollutants by the predominant physical techniques.In this work,we investigated a photocatalytic degradation catalyzed by TiO_(2) catalyst to demonstrate the feasibility of implementing efficient chemical protocol to fast degrading polyethylene terephthalate(PET)-FMPs(a major FMP type existing in environment).The result shows that a hydrothermal pretreatment(180℃/12 h)is necessary to induce the initial rough appearance and molecular weight reduction.With the comprehensive action of the nano-flower shaped N doped-TiO_(2) catalyst(Pt@N-TiO_(2)-1.5%)on the relatively low molecular weight intermediates,an approximate 29%weight loss was induced on the pretreated PET-FMPs,which is about 8 times superior to the untreated sample.This work not only achieves a superior degradation effect of PET-FMPs,but also provides a new inspiration for the proposal of reduction strategies in the field of environmental remediation in the future.Dawang Zhou Hongxia Luo Fangzhou Zhang Jing Wu Jianping Yang Huaping Wang 2022Advanced Fiber Materials2022,4,5:1

13DLX5 promotes Col10a1 expression and chondrocyte hypertrophy and is involved in osteoarthritis progression显示文摘Osteoarthritis(OA)has been considered non-reversible as articular cartilage wears down with limited repair capacity.Enhanced chondrocyte hypertrophy and increased type X collagen gene(COL10A1)expression have been associated with OA.Therefore,regulators controlling collagen X expression and chondrocyte hypertrophy may play a role in OA intervention.Here,we investigated how Distal-less homeobox 5(DLX5),the distal-less homeobox family member,controls murine Col10a1 gene expression and chondrocyte hypertrophy in chondrogenic cell models and its role in a murine OA model.Through qRT-PCR and Western blot analyses,we detected significantly increased levels of COL10A1 and DLX5 in hypertrophic MCT and ATDC5 cells compared to their proliferative stage.Forced expression of Dlx5 further increases,while knockdown of Dlx5 decreases COL10A1 expression in hypertrophic MCT cells.We have performed dual-luciferase reporter and ChiP assays and demonstrated that DLX5 promotes reporter activity through direct interaction with Col10a1 cis-enhancer.We established a murine OA model and detected markedly increased COL10A1 and DLX5 in the articular cartilage and subchondral bone of the OA mice compared with the controls.Notably,forced overexpression of DLX5 in hypertrophic MCT cells up-regulates RUNX2,and adjacent DLX5 and RUNX2 binding sites have previously been found within the Col10a1 cis-enhancer.Together,our data suggest that DLX5 may cooperate with RUNX2 to control cell-specific Col10a1 expression and chondrocyte hypertrophy and is involved in OA pathogenesis.Jinnan Chen Fangzhou Chen Xuan Wu Huiqin Bian Chen Chen Xiaojing Zhang Ruoxuan Hei Xiaotong Yang Haochun Yuan Qian Wang Yaojuan Lu Longwei Qiao Qiping Zheng 2023Genes & Diseases2023,10,5:1
14High-capacity quantum secure direct communication with two-photon six-qubit hyperentangled states显示文摘This study proposes the first high-capacity quantum secure direct communication(QSDC) with two-photon six-qubit hyperentangled Bell states in two longitudinal momentum and polarization degrees of freedom(DOFs) of photon pairs, which can be generated using two 0.5 mm-thick type-I β barium borate crystal slabs aligned one behind the other and an eight-hole screen. The secret message can be independently encoded on the photon pairs with 64 unitary operations in all three DOFs. This protocol has a higher capacity than previous QSDC protocols because each photon pair can carry 6 bits of information, not just 2 or 4 bits.Our QSDC protocol decreases the influence of decoherence from environment noise by exploiting the decoy photons to check the security of the transmission of the first photon sequence. 16Atomic Cu Sites Engineering Enables Efficient CO_(2)Electroreduction to Methane with High CH_(4)/C_(2)H_(4)Ratio显示文摘Electrochemical reduction of CO_(2)into high-value hydrocarbons and alcohols by using Cu-based catalysts is a promising and attractive technology for CO_(2)capture and utilization,resulting from their high catalytic activity and selectivity.The mobility and accessibility of active sites in Cubased catalysts significantly hinder the development of efficient Cu-based catalysts for CO_(2)electrochemical reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR).Herein,a facile and effective strategy is developed to engineer accessible and structural stable Cu sites by incorporating single atomic Cu into the nitrogen cavities of the host graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))as the active sites for CO_(2)-to-CH_(4)conversion in CO_(2)RR.By regulating the coordination and density of Cu sites in g-C_(3)N_(4),an optimal catalyst corresponding to a one Cu atom in one nitrogen cavity reaches the highest CH_(4)Faraday efficiency of 49.04%and produces the products with a high CH_(4)/C_(2)H_(4)ratio over 9.This work provides the first experimental study on g-C_(3)N_(4)-supported single Cu atom catalyst for efficient CH_(4)production from CO_(2)RR and suggests a principle in designing highly stable and selective high-efficiency Cu-based catalysts for CO_(2)RR by engineering Cu active sites in 2D materials with porous crystal structures.Minhan Li Fangzhou Zhang Min Kuang Yuanyuan Ma Ting Liao Ziqi Sun Wei Luo Wan Jiang Jianping Yang 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,12:0
17Protein phosphatase 6 (Pp6) is crucial for regulatory T cell function and stability in autoimmunity显示文摘Regulatory T(T_(reg))cells constitute a dynamic population that is critical in autoimmunity.T_(reg) cell therapies for autoimmune diseases are mainly focused on enhancing their suppressive activities.However,recent studies demonstrated that certain inflammatory conditions induce T_(reg) cell instability with diminished FoxP3 expression and convert them into pathogenic effector cells.Therefore,the identification of novel targets crucial to both T_(reg) cell function and plasticity is of vital importance to the development of therapeutic approaches in autoimmunity.In this study,we found that conditional Pp6 knockout(cKO)in T_(reg) cells led to spontaneous autoinflammation,immune cell activation,and diminished levels of FoxP3 in CD4^(+)T cells in mice.Loss of Pp6 in T_(reg) cells exacerbated two classical mouse models of T_(reg)-related autoinflammation.Mechanistically,Pp6 deficiency increased CpG motif methylation of the FoxP3 locus by dephosphorylating Dnmt1 and enhancing Akt phosphorylation at Ser473/Thr308,leading to impaired FoxP3 expression in T_(reg) cells.In summary,our study proposes Pp6 as a critical positive regulator of FoxP3 that acts by decreasing DNA methylation of the FoxP3 gene enhancer and inhibiting Akt signaling,thus maintaining T_(reg) cell stability and preventing autoimmune diseases.Wei Cai Junxun Zhang Hong Zhou Xiangxiao Li Fangzhou Lou Yang Sun Zhenyao Xu Jing Bai Qianqian Yin Zhikai Wang Libo Sun Xiaojie Cai Sibei Tang Yue Wu Li Fan Hong Wang Honglin Wang Qun Li 2022Genes & Diseases2022,9,2:0
