| 1 | Pathological features and diagnosis of intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm of the pancreas显示文摘Intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm(IPMN) of the pancreas is a noninvasive epithelial neoplasm of mucinproducing cells arising in the main duct(MD) and/or branch ducts(BD) of the pancreas.Involved ducts are dilated and filled with neoplastic papillae and mucus in variable intensity.IPMN lacks ovarian-type stroma,unlike mucinous cystic neoplasm,and is defined as a grossly visible entity(≥ 5 mm),unlike pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasm.With the use of high-resolution imaging techniques,very small IPMNs are increasingly being identified.Most IPMNs are solitary and located in the pancreatic head,although 20%-40% are multifocal.Macroscopic classification in MD type,BD type and mixed or combined type reflects biological differences with important prognostic and preoperative clinical management implications.Based on cytoarchitectural atypia,IPMN is classified into low-grade,intermediategrade and high-grade dysplasia.Based on histological features and mucin(MUC) immunophenotype,IPMNs are classified into gastric,intestinal,pancreatobiliary and oncocytic types.These different phenotypes can be observed together,with the IPMN classified according to the predominant type.Two pathways have been suggested:gastric phenotype corresponds to less aggressive uncommitted cells(MUC1-,MUC2-,MUC5 AC +,MUC6 +) with the capacity to evolve to intestinal phenotype(intestinal pathway)(MUC1-,MUC2 +,MUC5 AC +,MUC6- or weak +) or pancreatobiliary /oncocytic phenotypes(pyloropancreatic pathway)(MUC1 +,MUC 2-,MUC5 AC +,MUC 6 +) becoming more aggressive.Prognosis of IPMN is excellent but critically worsens when invasive carcinoma arises(about 40% of IPMNs),except in some cases of minimal invasion.The clinical challenge is to establish which IPMNs should be removed because of their higher risk of developing invasive cancer.Once resected,they must be extensively sampled or,much better,submitted in its entirety for microscopic study to completely rule out associated invasive carcinoma. | Víctor M Castellano-Megías Carolina Ibarrola-de Andrés Guadalupe López-Alonso Francisco Colina-Ruizdelgado | 2014 | World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology2014，6，9： | 4 |
| 2 | MgO-based adsorbents for CO2 adsorption:Influence of structural and textural properties on the CO_2 adsorption performance显示文摘A series of MgO-based adsorbents were prepared through solution–combustion synthesis and ball-milling process.The prepared MgO-based powders were characterized using X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,N_2 physisorption measurements,and employed as potential adsorbents for CO_2 adsorption.The influence of structural and textural properties of these adsorbents over the CO_2 adsorption behaviour was also investigated.The results showed that MgO-based products prepared by solution–combustion and ball-milling processes,were highly porous,fluffy,nanocrystalline structures in nature,which are unique physico-chemical properties that significantly contribute to enhance their CO_2 adsorption.It was found that the MgO synthesized by solution combustion process,using a molar ratio of urea to magnesium nitrate(2:1),and treated by ball-milling during 2.5 hr(MgO-BM2.5h),exhibited the maximum CO_2 adsorption capacity of 1.611 mmol/g at 25℃ and 1 atm,mainly via chemisorption.The CO_2 adsorption behaviour on the MgO-based adsorbents was correlated to their improved specific surface area,total pore volume,pore size distribution and crystallinity.The reusability of synthesized MgO-BM2.5h was confirmed by five consecutive CO_2adsorption–desorption times,without any significant loss of performance,that supports the potential of MgO-based adsorbent.The results confirmed that the special features of MgO prepared by solution–combustion and treated by ball-milling during 2.5 hr are favorable to be used as effective MgO-based adsorbent in post-combustion CO_2 capture technologies. | Gutiérrez-Bonilla Elvira Granados-Correa Francisco Sánchez-Mendieta Víctor Morales-Luckie Raúl Alberto | 2017 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2017，29，7： | 3 |

| 11 | Healthcare staff as promoters of parental presence at anesthetic induction:Net Promoter Score survey显示文摘BACKGROUND Surgical intervention is usually a traumatic event that causes stress and anxiety in the pediatric patient and the family environment.To reduce the harmful effects of presurgical anxiety,parental presence during induction of anesthesia(PPIA)is one of the more notable interventions used in medical centers.However,data on this measure are difficult to evaluate and often face resistance from healthcare staff.AIM To analyze the perception of the healthcare workers after the implementation of a PPIA program.METHODS A survey was developed and sent by email to all the healthcare staff working in the children’s area of a tertiary hospital.It consisted of 14 items divided into positive aspects of PPIA and negative aspects of PPIA evaluated with the use of a Likert scale(1 to 5).The demographics of the respondents were included in the data collected.The answers to the questions were interpreted through the Net Promoter Score(NPS).The statistical analysis compared the differences in the responses to each question of the survey made by the different groups of health personnel included.RESULTS A total of 141 surveys were sent out,with a response rate of 69%.Of the total number of responses,68%were from women and 32%from men.The average age of the participants was 42.3±10.6 years.As for the positive questions about the PPIA,83%had an NPS>50,and only one had a score between 0 and 50,which means that the quality of the service was rated as excellent or good by 100%of the respondents.On the other hand,100%of the negative questions about the PPIA had a negative NPS.Responses to the question“PPIA increases patient safety”were significantly different(P=0.037),with a lower percentage of pediatric surgeons(70%)thinking that PPIA increased patient safety,compared with anesthesiologists(90%),nursing(92%),and other medical personnel(96%).CONCLUSION The personnel who participated in the PPIA program at our center were in favor of implementation.There were no validated arguments to support worker resistance to the development of the PPIA. | María Velayos Karla Estefanía María Alvarez María C Sarmiento Lucas Moratilla Pascual Sanabria Francisco Hernández Manuel V López Santamaría | 2021 | World Journal of Clinical Pediatrics2021，10，6： | 1 |
