| 2 | The Serum Exosome Derived MicroRNA-135a,-193b, and-384 Were Potential Alzheimer's Disease Biomarkers显示文摘Objective MicroR NAs(mi Rs) are attractive molecules to be considered as one of the blood-based biomarkers for neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease(AD). The goal of this study was to explore their potential value as biomarkers for the diagnosis of AD. Methods The expression levels of exosomal miR-135 a,-193 b, and-384 in the serum from mild cognitive impairment(MCI), dementia of Alzheimer-type(DAT), Parkinson's disease with dementia(PDD), and vascular dementia(VaD) patients were measured with a real-time quantitative reverse transcriptase PCR(qR T-PCR) method. Results Both serum exosome mi R-135 a and miR-384 were up-regulated while miR-193 b was down-regulated in serum of AD patients compared with that of normal controls. Exosome miR-384 was the best among the three miR s to discriminate AD, VaD, and PDD. Using the cut-off value could better interpret these laboratory test results than reference intervals in the AD diagnosis. ROC curve showed that the combination of mi R-135 a,-193 b, and-384 was proved to be better than a particular one for early AD diagnosis. | 3 | Soil respiration is driven by fine root biomass along a forest chronosequence in subtropical China显示文摘Aims Soil respiration(Rs)is a major process controlling soil carbon loss in forest ecosystems.However,the underlying mechanisms leading to variation in Rs along forest successional gradients are not well understood.In this study,we investigated the effects of biotic and abiotic factors on Rs along a forest successional gradient in southeast China.Methods We selected 16 plots stratified by forest age,ranging from 20 to 120 years.In each plot,six shallow collars and six deep collars were permanently inserted into the soil.Shallow and deep collars were used to measure Rs and heterotrophic respiration(Rh),respectively.Autotrophic soil respiration(Ra)was estimated as the difference between Rs and Rh.Litter layer respiration(R_(L))was calculated by subtracting soil respiration measured in collars without leaf litter layer(R_(NL))from Rs.Rs was measured every 2 months,and soil temperature(ST)and soil volumetric water content(SVWC)were recorded every hour for 19 months.We calculated daily Rs using an exponential model dependent on ST.Daily Rs was summed to obtain cumulative annual Rs estimates.Structural equation modelling(SEM)was applied to identify the drivers of Rs during forest succession.Important Findings Rs showed significant differences among three successive stages,and it was the highest in the young stage.Ra was higher in the young stage than in the medium stage.Cumulative annual Rs and Ra peaked in the young and old stages,respectively.Cumulative annual Rh and respiration measured from soil organic matter(R_(SOM))decreased,whereas R_(L)increased with forest age.The SEM revealed that cumulative annual Rs was influenced by fine root biomass and SVWC.Our results indicated that the dominant force regulating Rs on a seasonal scale is ST;however,on a successional scale,belowground carbon emerges as the dominant influential factor. | Chao Wang Yinlei Ma Stefan Trogisch Yuanyuan Huang Yan Geng Michael Scherer-Lorenzen Jin-Sheng He | 2017 | Journal of Plant Ecology2017,10,1: | 13 |

| 5 | Effects of embedding direct reduction followed by magnetic separation on recovering titanium and iron of beach titanomagnetite concentrate显示文摘Embedding direct reduction followed by magnetic separation was conducted to fully recover iron and titanium separately from beach titanomagnetite(TTM).The influences of reduction conditions,such as molar ratio of C to Fe,reduction time,and reduction temperature,were studied.The results showed that the TTM concentrate was reduced to iron and iron-titanium oxides,depending on the reduction time,and the reduction sequence at 1 200°C was suggested as follows:Fe_(2.75)Ti_(0.25)O_4→Fe_2TiO_4→FeTiO_3→FeTi_2O_5.The reduction temperature played a considerable role in the reduction of TTM concentrates.Increasing temperature from 1 100 to 1 200°C was beneficial to recovering titanium and iron,whereas the results deteriorated as temperature increased further.The results of X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy analyses showed that low temperature(≤1 100°C)was unfavorable for the gasification of reductant,resulting in insufficient reducing atmosphere in the reduction process.The molten phase was formed at high temperatures of 1 250-1 300°C,which accelerated the migration rate of metallic particles and suppressed the diffusion of reduction gas,resulting in poor reduction.The optimum conditions for reducing TTM concentrate are as follows:molar ratio of C to Fe of 1.68,reduction time of 150 min,and reduction temperature of 1 200°C.Under these conditions,direct reduction iron powder,assaying 90.28 mass%TFe and 1.73 mass% TiO_2 with iron recovery of 90.85%,and titanium concentrate,assaying 46.24mass% TiO_2 with TiO_2 recovery of 91.15%,were obtained. | Chao Geng Ti-chang Sun You-wen Ma Cheng-yan Xu Hui-fen Yang | 2017 | Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2017,24,2: | 10 |

Direct reduced iron( DRI) with a high Fe content,low TiO_2 content and low iron recovery was obtained after adding sodium sulfate. When the sodium sulfate dosage was increased from 0 to 10 mass%,the Fe content of the DRI increased from 90. 00 mass% to 93. 55 mass% and the TiO_2 content decreased from 1. 27 mass% to 0. 70 mass%. The reduction mechanism of sodium sulfate was investigated by X-ray diffraction( XRD) and scanning electron microscopy( SEM) with energy dispersive spectrometer( EDS). Results revealed that the metallic iron grains in the reduced ore with sodium sulfate were larger than those in the ore without sodium sulfate. Sodium sulfate promoted the migration of iron as well as the accumulation and growth of metallic iron grains by low-melting-point carnegieite and troilite formed in the redox system. Low-melting-point carnegieite decreased the melting point of the system and then promoted liquefaction. | 8 | Heavy-ion and pulsed-laser single event effects in 130-nm CMOS-based thin/thick gate oxide anti-fuse PROMs显示文摘Single event effects of 1-T structure programmable read-only memory(PROM) devices fabricated with a 130-nm complementary metal oxide semiconductorbased thin/thick gate oxide anti-fuse process were investigated using heavy ions and a picosecond pulsed laser. The cross sections of a single event upset(SEU) for radiationhardened PROMs were measured using a linear energy transfer(LET) ranging from 9.2 to 95.6 MeV cm^2mg^(-1).The result indicated that the LET threshold for a dynamic bit upset was ~ 9 MeV cm^2mg^(-1), which was lower than the threshold of ~ 20 MeV cm^2mg^(-1) for an address counter upset owing to the additional triple modular redundancy structure present in the latch. In addition, a slight hard error was observed in the anti-fuse structure when employing209 Bi ions with extremely high LET values(~ 91.6 MeV cm^2mg^(-1)) and large ion fluence(~ 1×10~8 ions cm^(-2)). To identify the detailed sensitive position of a SEU in PROMs, a pulsed laser with a 5-μm beam spot was used to scan the entire surface of the device.This revealed that the upset occurred in the peripheral circuits of the internal power source and I/O pairs rather than in the internal latches and buffers. This was subsequently confirmed by a ^(181)Ta experiment. Based on the experimental data and a rectangular parallelepiped model of the sensitive volume, the space error rates for the used PROMs were calculated using the CRèME-96 prediction tool. | 9 | Effects and mechanisms of fluorite on the co-reduction of blast furnace dust and seaside titanomagnetite显示文摘The co-reduction roasting and grinding-magnetic separation of seaside titanomagnetite and blast furnace dust was investigated with and without fluorite addition at a reduction roasting temperature of 1250°C for 60 min, a grinding fineness of-43 μm accounting for 69.02 wt% of the total, and a low-intensity magnetic field strength of 151 kA/m. The mineral composition, microstructure, and state of the roasted products were analyzed, and the concentrations of CO and CO_2 were analyzed in the co-reduction roasting. Better results were achieved with a small fluorite dosage(≤4 wt%) in the process of co-reduction. In addition, F^- was found to reduce the melting point and viscosity of the slag phase because of the high content of aluminate and silicate minerals in the blast furnace dust. The low moisture content of the blast furnace dust and calcic minerals inhibited the hydrolysis of CaF_2 and the loss of F^-. | 13 | Biological and molecular characterization of tomato brown rugose fruit virus and development of quadruplex RT-PCR detection显示文摘Tomato brown rugose fruit virus(ToBRFV) is a novel tobamovirus firstly reported in 2015 and poses a severe threat to the tomato industry. So far, it has spread to 10 countries in America, Asia, and Europe. In 2019, ToBRFV was identified in Shandong Province(ToBRFV-SD), China. In this study, it was shown that ToBRFV-SD induced mild to severe mosaic and blistering on leaves, necrosis on sepals and pedicles, and deformation, yellow spots, and brown rugose necrotic lesions on fruits. ToBRFV-SD induced distinct symptoms on plants of tomato, Capsicum annumm, and Nicotiana benthamiana, and caused latent infection on plants of Solanum tuberosum, Solanum melongena, and N. tabacum cv. Zhongyan 102. All the 50 tomato cultivars tested were highly sensitive to ToBRFV-SD. The complete genomic sequence of ToBRFV-SD shared the highest nucleotide and amino acid identities with isolate IL from Israel. In the phylogenetic tree constructed with the complete genomic sequence, all the ToBRFV isolates were clustered together and formed a sister branch with tobacco mosaic virus(TMV). Furthermore, a quadruplex RT-PCR system was developed that could differentiate ToBRFV from other economically important viruses affecting tomatoes, such as TMV, tomato mosaic virus, and tomato spotted wilt virus. | 15 | Diffusion mechanism simulation of cloud manufacturing complex network based on cooperative game theory显示文摘Cloud manufacturing is a specific implementation form of the 'Internet + manufacturing' strategy. Why and how to develop cloud manufacturing platform(CMP), however, remains the key concern of both platform operators and users. A microscopic model is proposed to investigate advantages and diffusion forces of CMP through exploration of its diffusion process and mechanism. Specifically, a three-stage basic evolution process of CMP is innovatively proposed. Then, based on this basic process, a more complex CMP evolution model has been established in virtue of complex network theory, with five diffusion forces identified. Thereafter, simulations on CMP diffusion have been conducted. The results indicate that, CMP possesses better resource utilization,user satisfaction, and enterprise utility. Results of simulation on impacts of different diffusion forces show that both the time required for CMP to reach an equilibrium state and the final network size are affected simultaneously by the five diffusion forces. | 19 | Open N-doped carbon coated porous molybdenum phosphide nanorods for synergistic catalytic hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘Molybdenum phosphide is a potential hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)catalyst.However,traditional high-temperature phosphating preparation methods are prone to damage of material morphology and agglomeration.Using the carbon skeleton to limit the size and morphology of MoP and to improve the conductivity of the material is an effective method to improve the performance of the catalyst.However,there is a lack of research on the effect of carbon skeleton and MoP composite structure on the catalytic mechanism of HER.We coated ZIF-8 on the surface of MoP nanorods,and obtained open N-doped carbon-coated porous MoP nanorods(N/C/MoP)through carbonization and phosphating.Studies have shown that the ZIF-8 coating effectively limits the size and morphology of the material and avoids agglomeration.Under alkaline conditions,N/C/MoP has a low overpotential of 169 mV for HER at 10 mA/cm2,which is 55 mV lower than MoP without a carbon layer.At the same time,its Tafel slope(51.3 mV/dec)is smaller than Pt/C(59.9 mV/dec),and it has good stability.Density functional theory(DFT)studies have shown that under alkaline conditions,there is a synergistic effect between the open N-doped carbon layer and the exposed MoP active surface,which reduces the activation energy of water and improves the catalytic performance of HER.It is worth noting that a tight coating will hinder the exposure of active sites and reduce catalytic activity. | Chao Wang Wen Li Xiaodan Wang Nan Yu Hongxia Sun Baoyou Geng | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,3: | 3 |
| 20 | Retinoic acid ameliorates high-fat diet-induced liver steatosis through Sirt1显示文摘In this study, treatment of C57 BL/6 J(wild type, WT) mice fed a high-fat diet(HFD) with retinoic acid(RA) decreased body weight and subcutaneous and visceral fat content, reversed the apparent hepatosteatosis, and reduced hepatic intracellular triglyceride and serum alanine transaminase(ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase(AST) concentrations. Moreover, RA treatment improved glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity in WT mice fed a HFD. However, these RA-induced effects in WT mice fed a HFD were alleviated in liver specific Sirtuin 1(Sirt1) deficient(LKO) mice fed a HFD. Furthermore,RA also could not improve glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity in LKO mice fed a HFD. The mechanism studies indicated that RA indeed increased the expression of hepatic Sirt1 and superoxide dismutase 2(Sod2), and inhibited the expression of sterol regulatory element binding protein 1 c(Srebp-1 c) in WT mice in vivo and in vitro. RA decreased mitochondrial reactive oxygen species(ROS) production in WT primary hepatocytes and increased mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA) copy number in WT mice liver. However, these RA-mediated molecular effects were also abolished in the liver and primary hepatocytes from LKO mice.
