1Clean Energy Consumption of Power Systems Towards Smart Agriculture: Roadmap, Bottlenecks and Technologies显示文摘Over the past decades,both agriculture and power systems have faced serious problems,such as the power supply shortage in agriculture,and difficulties of clean energy consump-tion in the power system.To address and overcome these issues,this paper proposes an idea to combine smart agriculture and clean energy consumption,use surplus clean energy to supply agriculture production,and utilize smart agriculture to support power system with clean energy penetration.A comprehensive review has been conducted to first depict the roadmap of coupling a agriculture-clean energy system,analyze their feasibilities and advantages.The recent technologies and bottlenecks are summa-rized and evaluated for the development of a combined system consisting of smart agriculture production and clean energy consumption.Several case studies are introduced to explore the mutual benefits of agriculture-clean energy systems in both the energy and food industries.Junyong Liu Yanxin Chai Yue Xiang Xin Zhang Si Gou Youbo Liu 2018CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2018,4,3:9

3Geological emission of methane from the Yakela condensed oil/gas field in Talimu Basin, Xinjiang, China显示文摘A static flux chamber method was applied to study natural emissions of methane into the atmosphere in the Yakela condensed oil/gas field in Talimu Basin, Xinjiang, China. Using an online method, which couples a gas chromatography/high-temperature conversion/isotope ratio mass spectrometry (GC/C/MS) together, the 13C/12C ratios of methane in the flux chambers were measured. The results demonstrated that methane gases were liable to migrate from deep oil/gas reservoir to the surface through microseepage and pervasion, and that a part of the migrated methane that remained unoxidized could emit into the atmosphere. Methane emission rates varied less in the oil/gas field because the whole region was homogeneous in geology and geography, with a standard deviation of less than 0.02 mg/(m2·h). These were the differences in methane emission flux in the day and at night in the oil/gas field. The maximum methane emission flux reached 0.15 mg/(m2·h) at 5:00-6:00 early in the morning, and then decreased gradually. The minimum was shown 0.10 mg/(m2·h) at 17:00-18:00 in the afternoon, and then increased gradually. The daily methane released flux of the study area was 2.89 mg/(m2·d), with a standard deviation of 0.43 mg/(m2·d), using the average methane flux of every hour in a day for all chambers. δ13C of methane increased with the increase of methane concentration in the flux chambers, further indicating that the pyrogenetic origin of methane was come from deep oil/gas reservoirs.Tang Junhong Bao Zhengyu Xiang Wu Gou Qinghong 2008Journal of Environmental Sciences2008,20,9:6

5Clinical effect of manual reduction of humeroradial joint in the treatment of typeⅠ-Ⅲfresh Monteggia fracture in children显示文摘Purpose:To evaluate the efficacy of closed reduction on the humeroradial joint in the treatment of Bado typeⅠ,ⅡandⅢfresh Monteggia fractures in children and investigate the effect of clinical factors,including Bado classification,age and time of treatment on the success rate of closed reduction.Methods:We retrospectively studied the data of children<10 years old with fresh Monteggia fractures(injury within two weeks)treated by manual reduction with plaster immobilization from January 2014 to April 2019.All patients were followed up in the outpatient department every two weeks for 4-6 weeks until plaster removal and then 3,6 and 12 months.Online or telephone interview was provided for some inconvenient patients after 6 months.Mackay criteria were used to evaluate the clinical effect.Radiographic data were collected and reviewed to assess the reduction of the humeroradial joint.Function of the elbow joint and forearm was evaluated and risk factors related to the failure of reduction were assessed.The successful manual reduction was analyzed from three aspects,respectively Bado fracture type(Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ),patient age(<3 year,3-6 years,>6 years)and time interval from injury to treatment(group A,<1 day;group B,1-3 days;group C,>3 days).Results:Altogether 88 patients were employed in this study,including 58 males(65.9%)and 30 females(34.1%)aged from 1 to 10 years.There were 29 cases(33.0%)of Bado typeⅠMonteggia fractures,16(18.2%)typeⅡand 43(48.7%)typeⅢ.Successful manual reduction was achieved in 79 children(89.8%)at the last follow-up.The failed 9 patients received open surgery.Mackay criteria showed 100%goodexcellent rate for all the patients.The success rate of manual reduction was 89.7%,87.5%and 90.7%in Bado typeⅠ,ⅡandⅢcases,respectively,revealing no significant differences among different Bado types(x2=0.131,p=0.937).Successful closed reduction was achieved in 13 toddlers(13/13,100%),38 preschool children(28/42,90.5%)and 28 school-age children(28/33,84.8%),suggesting no significant difference either(x2=2.375,p=0.305).However time interval from injury to treatment showed that patients treated within 3 days had a much higher rate of successful manual reduction:67 cases(67/71,94.4%)in group A,10 cases(10/11,90.9%)in group B,and 2 cases(2/6,33.3%)in group C(x2=22.464,p<0.001).Fisher's test further showed significant differences between groups A and C(p=0.001)and groups B and C(p=0.028).Conclusion:Closed reduction is a safe and effective method for treating fresh Monteggia fractures in children.The reduction should be conducted as soon as possible once the diagnosis has been made.Yin-Qiang Cao Jia-Zhong Deng Yuan Zhang Xiao-Wei Yuan Tao Liu Jun Li Xiang Li Pan Gou Ming Li Xing Liu 2020Chinese Journal of Traumatology2020,23,4:5
6Purification and Characterization of an Antibacterial Peptide from Rana Temporaria Chensinensis Skin显示文摘The Rana temporaria chensinensis is an amphibian distributing mainly over the north of China. Its skin gland contains a variety of peptides, including antibacterial peptides. One of them, component 1, has been purified from the dried skin of R.temporaria chensinesis using a five step procedure. Purified component 1 has a molecular weight of 5 700 and its amino acid composition shows that it is devoid of disulfide bridges but rich in histine and glycine residues. 7Transcriptomic changes associated with PCK1 overexpression in hepatocellular carcinoma cells detected by RNA-seq显示文摘Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase 1(PCK1),a step limiting enzyme of gluconeogenesis,is downregulated in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Overexpression of PCK1 has been shown to suppress hepatoma cell growth,but the underlying mechanism remains unclear.We used recombinant adenovirus overexpressing PCK1 or GFP in Huh7 cells,and the differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were identified by RNA-Seq.180 were upregulated by PCK1 overexpression,whereas 316 were downregulated.Pathway analysis illustrated that PCK1 was closely correlated with Wnt signaling pathway and TGF-beta signaling pathway.Hence,Wnt signaling pathway and its downstream component,FZD2,FZD6,FZD7 and b-catenin were confirmed by qRT-PCR and Western blot.In vivo we also observed that PCK1 had restrained tumor growth as a result of decreasing expression of b-catenin.Whole-transcriptomic profile analysis discovered that overexpression of PCK1 downregulates several oncogenic signaling pathways in HCC,providing potential therapeutic targets for improving HCC therapy.Jin Xiang Yuhong Zhang Lin Tuo Rui Liu Dongmei Gou Li Liang Chang Chen Jie Xia Ni Tang Kai Wang 2020Genes & Diseases2020,7,1:2
8Efficacy of Xylooligosaccharides and Probiotics Additive to the Diets of Sows and/or Piglets on Performance,Milk Composition and Appearance of Diarrhea in Sows and Their Offspring显示文摘The present study investigated the effects of dietary supplementation of xylooligosaccharides( XOS) and probiotics( PR) on performance,milk composition and diarrhea incidence of sows or their offspring.From day 90 of gestation until weaning,a total of 60 multiparous sows were randomly assigned to three groups and given three different diets that included either the control diet( s CON,n = 20),the control diet containing 175 mg/kg XOS( s XOS,n = 20) or175 mg/kg XOS and 300 mg/kg probiotics( s XOS + PR,n = 20).On day 21 of age,offspring were assigned within sow treatments to the piglet basal diet( p CON)or the piglet basal diet supplemented with 175 mg/kg XOS( p XOS) for 28 d.Sow feed intake was recorded daily.Body weight and feed consumption of the pigs in each replicate were determined biweekly( on day 0,14 and 28) to calculate the average daily gain( ADG) of body weight,average daily feed intake( ADFI)and the gain-to-feed ratio( G∶ F).The colostrum and milk samples were obtained on day 0 and 14 of lactation,respectively.Sow XOS or XOS + PR dietary had no effect on the number of total piglets born and born alive and the piglet weight at birth.Milk composition in sow colostrum and milk were not affected by sow diet XOS or( XOS + PR) supplementation( P > 0.05).No maternal dietary effect was observed on the weaning weight and pre-weaning weight gains of piglets.However,there were interaction effects between sow and piglet dietary treatments on diarrhea rate and diarrhea index during day 35-49( P = 0.03) and day 21-49( P =0.02).Although sow diet XOS and( XOS + PR) supplementation did not influence growth performance of weanling piglets,such as ADG and ADFI( P >0.05),piglets XOS supplementation significantly decreased ADFI during the whole experiment period and increased G∶ F during day 35-49 and day 21-49( P <0.05).These results might suggest that combination of XOS and PR in sow diets had negative impact on the diarrhea incidence of offspring.XOS supplementation in weaned piglet diets decreased ADFI and feed conversion efficiency of weaning piglets.Li Yuanfeng Xiao Xia He Jian Wang Yachao Ao Xiang Gou Qingbi He Zongze 2017Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2017,9,6:1

10Local delivery of superagonist gene based on polymer nanoparticles for cancer immunotherapy显示文摘Cancer is the leading cause that threatens human life expectancy due to the lack of effective therapies.Cancer immunotherapy has been explored to improve the body's immune system against cancer and accompanied by promising results in recent years.Interleukin 15(IL-15),a pleiotropic immunomodulator,is critical for immune cells development and displays great anti-tumor potential in both preclinical and clinical trials.In this study,superagonist IL-15 plasmid(psIL-15)consisting of IL-15Rα-sushi-linker-IL-15 was constructed in order to secret superagonist IL-15(sIL-15)in tumor site.A gene delivery system through self-assembly by methylated polyethylene glycol-b-polylactic acid-b-methylated polyethylene glycol(m PEG-PLA-m PEG)and 1,2-dioleoyl-3-trimethylammonium-propane(DOTAP),named DMAM,was designed to deliver psIL-15.Further study showed that DMAM/psIL-15 could successfully deliver psIL-15 to tumor cells and the supernatants of the tumor cells could further stimulate lymphocytes proliferation as well as activation in vitro.Local delivery of DMAM/psIL-15 in animal models demonstrated significant tumor inhibition through enhancing immune cells responses,reducing angiogenesis,promoting tumor cell apoptosis and inhibiting proliferation,with no evidence of system toxicities.These results indicate that DMAM/psIL-15 may be a promising strategy for cancer immunotherapy.Zehua Hong Xin Zan Ting Yu Yuzhu Hu Hongfeng Gou Songping Zheng Xiang Gao Peizhi Zhou 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,3:1
11The Giant Radio Array for Neutrino Detection(GRAND):Science and design显示文摘The Giant Radio Array for Neutrino Detection(GRAND)is a planned large-scale observatory of ultra-high-energy(UHE)cosmic particles,with energies exceeding 10~8 Ge V.Its goal is to solve the long-standing mystery of the origin of UHE cosmic rays.To do this,GRAND will detect an unprecedented number of UHE cosmic rays and search for the undiscovered UHE neutrinos and gamma rays associated to them with unmatched sensitivity.GRAND will use large arrays of antennas to detect the radio emission coming from extensive air showers initiated by UHE particles in the atmosphere.Its design is modular:20 separate,independent sub-arrays,each of 10000 radio antennas deployed over 10000 km^2.A staged construction plan will validate key detection techniques while achieving important science goals early.Here we present the science goals,detection strategy,preliminary design,performance goals,and construction plans for GRAND.Jaime Alvarez-Muniz Rafael Alves Batista Aswathi Balagopal V. 13Plant functional trait diversity and structural diversity co-underpin ecosystem multifunctionality in subtropical forests显示文摘Tree species diversity is assumed to be an important component in managing forest ecosystems because of effects on multiple functions or ecosystem multifunctionality.However,the importance of tree diversity in determining multifunctionality in structurally complex subtropical forests relative to other regulators(e.g.,soil microbial diversity,stand structure,and environmental conditions)remains uncertain.In this study,effects of aboveground(species richness and functional and structural diversity)and belowground(bacterial and fungal diversity)biodiversity,functional composition(community-weighted means of species traits),stand structure(diameter at breast height and stand density),and soil factors(pH and bulk density)on multifunctionality(including biomass production,carbon stock,and nutrient cycling)were examined along a tree diversity gradient in subtropical forests.The community-weighted mean of tree maximum height was the best predictor of ecosystem multifunctionality.Functional diversity explained a higher proportion of the variation in multifunctionality than that of species richness and fungal diversity.Stand structure-played an important role in modulating the effects of tree diversity on multifunctionality.The work highlights that species composition and maximizing forest structural complexity are effective strategies to increase forest multifunctionality while also conserving biodiversity in the management of multifunctional forests under global environmental changes.Shuai Ouyang Mengmeng Gou Pifeng Lei Yue Liu Liang Chen Xiangwen Deng Zhonghui Zhao Yelin Zeng Yanting Hu Changhui Peng Wenhua Xiang 2023Forest Ecosystems2023,10,2:0

16Correlation between Combined Urinary Metal Exposure and Grip Strength under Three Statistical Models:A Cross-sectional Study in Rural Guangxi显示文摘Objective This study aimed to investigate the potential relationship between urinary metals copper(Cu),arsenic(As),strontium(Sr),barium(Ba),iron(Fe),lead(Pb)and manganese(Mn)and grip strength.Methods We used linear regression models,quantile g-computation and Bayesian kernel machine regression(BKMR)to assess the relationship between metals and grip strength.Results In the multimetal linear regression,Cu(β=−2.119),As(β=−1.318),Sr(β=−2.480),Ba(β=0.781),Fe(β=1.130)and Mn(β=−0.404)were significantly correlated with grip strength(P<0.05).The results of the quantile g-computation showed that the risk of occurrence of grip strength reduction was−1.007(95%confidence interval:−1.362,−0.652;P<0.001)when each quartile of the mixture of the seven metals was increased.Bayesian kernel function regression model analysis showed that mixtures of the seven metals had a negative overall effect on grip strength,with Cu,As and Sr being negatively associated with grip strength levels.In the total population,potential interactions were observed between As and Mn and between Cu and Mn(P_(interactions) of 0.003 and 0.018,respectively).Conclusion In summary,this study suggests that combined exposure to metal mixtures is negatively associated with grip strength.Cu,Sr and As were negatively correlated with grip strength levels,and there were potential interactions between As and Mn and between Cu and Mn.LIANG Yu Jian RONG Jia Hui WANG Xue Xiu CAI Jian Sheng QIN Li Dong LIU Qiu Mei TANG Xu MO Xiao Ting WEI Yan Fei LIN Yin Xia HUANG Shen Xiang LUO Ting Yu GOU Ruo Yu CAO Jie Jing HUANG Chu Wu LU Yu Fu QIN Jian ZHANG Zhi Yong 2024Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2024,37,1:0
17Optimization Study on Regenerative Organic Rankine Cycle(ORC) with Heat Source of Low-Grade Steam显示文摘Aiming at improving the performance of Organic Rankine Cycle(ORC)system with low-grade steam as heat source,this work studied and optimized the main operating parameters of the ORC system.The effects of evapo-ration temperature,superheat degree,condensation temperature and regenerator pinch temperature difference on the system performance were obtained.The optimization for the operating parameters is based on the indicators of specific net power output,waste heat pollution,cycle exergy efficiency,and total UA value(the product of overall heat transfer coefficient and heat transfer area of heat exchanger).The results show that the increase of the evaporation temperature and the superheat degree,and the decrease of the condensation temperature and regenerator pinch temperature difference can improve general system performance but lead to weaker economic performance.The optimal evaporation temperature,superheat degree,condensation temperature and regenerator pinch temperature difference are determined as 139℃,4°C,36°C and 8°C,respectively,reaching net power output of 114.73 kW,exergy efficiency of 37.10%.Besides,it is indicated that the regenerative ORC system can reach 13.6%additional net power output compared to the ORC system without the regenerator.Zhao Wang Su Yan Mingfeng Zhu Wen Zhu Han Zhang Xiang Gou 2022Energy Engineering2022,119,6:0
18Theoretical analysis of the elastic Kelvin-Helmholtz instability in explosive weldings显示文摘By considering the joint effects of the Kelvin-Helmholtz(KH) and Rayleigh-Taylor(RT) instabilities, this paper presents an interpretation of the wavy patterns that occur in explosive welding. It is assumed that the elasticity of the material at the interface effectively determines the wavelength, because explosive welding is basically a solid-state welding process. To this end, an analytical model of elastic hydrodynamic instabilities is proposed, and the most unstable mode is selected in the solid phase. Similar approaches have been widely used to study the interfacial behavior of solid metals in high-energy-density physics. By comparing the experimental and theoretical results, it is concluded that thermal softening,which significantly reduces the shear modulus, is necessary and sufficient for successful welding.
