Concerned with the monostatic MIMO radar which simultaneously emits orthogonal signals with multi-carrier-frequency and possesses sparsely distributed transmitting and receiving arrays with respective location, as well as the situation for the presence of multipath propagation in the low flying target’s echo, the method integrates the aperture of the transmitting arrays with the receiving arrays to form the digital beam-forming (DBF) in azimuth and elevation dimensions. And a study has been made of planar general MUSIC algorithm based on decorrelating the multipath signals of multi-carrier-frequency MIMO radar. Through compensat-ing the phase delay of both the transmitting and the receiving arrays and synthe-sizing the transmitting beam in two dimensions at the receiver, the angular resolu-tion and measurement accuracy are improved and the computational complexity is reduced after transforming the three-dimensional (3D) parameter estimation prob-lem into a two-dimensional (2D) one. Finally, the Cramer-Rao Bounds (CRBs) of DOA estimation for azimuth and elevation is put forward with the exsiting multipath propagation. | 8 | QSPR study about sampling rates of semipermeable membrane devices for monitoring of organochlorine pesticides in Alps air显示文摘Organochlorine pesticides (OCP) were monitored at the Weissfluhjoch site (Switzerland) and the top of Mt. Sonnblick (Austria) with a low volume active air sampler and semipermeable membrane devices (SPMD). The air sampling rates (Rair) of the SPMD for OCP were calculated. Statistical tests showed that there was no significant difference between Rair at the two different sampling sites. Quantitative structure-property relationship (QSPR) models of the Rair of the SPMD were developed for OCP using partial least square (PLS) regression. Quantum chemical descriptors computed by the semi-empirical PM6 method were used as predictor variables. The cumulative variance of the dependent variable explained by the PLS components and determined by cross-validation (Q2cum) was >0.818 for each optimal model. This indicates that the model has good predictive ability and robustness. The Rair of the SPMD for OCP is related to the total energy, the van der Waals area and the total dipole moment of the OCP molecules. The main factors governing Rair values of OCP are intermolecular interactions and the energy required for cavity-formation in dissolution of OCP into triolein of the SPMD. | 10 | Angular-based spatially resolved laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy: a new technique for the effective enhancement of signals without an external time delay system显示文摘In this study, we developed a novel angularbased spatially resolved laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy(ABSR-LIBS) technique. This new method allows the spatially resolved spectroscopic properties of laserinduced plasma to be investigated using different angles and polar distances with a spatially adjustable fiber optics probe. The experimental evaluations suggested that the intensity of the Al signal distributions in the ‘‘side-view''depended greatly on the angle of the collection probe. The location of a collection probe at 50° would facilitate efficient spectral collection and minimize the disturbance of the plasma plume. The spectral signals in the plasma emissions had different distribution at various polar distances using the same collection angle, and the highest signal intensity was observed between 15 and 35 mm polar distances. This ABSR-LIBS technique improved both the LIBS signal and the maximum emission intensity of Al atoms by several times at the best spatial position in our experimental conditions. Furthermore, we successfully obtained well-resolved line emission spectroscopy signals without any external time delay using a nongated spectrometer based on the ABSR-LIBS system. | 16 | Even-odd-dependent optical transitions of zigzag monolayer black phosphorus nanoribbons显示文摘We analytically study the electronic structure and optical properties of zigzag-edged phosphorene nanoribbons(ZPNRs) using the tight-binding Hamiltonian and Kubo formula. By directly solving the discrete Schrodinger equation, we obtain the energy spectra and wavefunctions for N-ZPNR(where N is the number of transverse zigzag atomic chains) and classify the eigenstates according to the lattice symmetry. Then, we obtain the optical transition selection rule of ZPNRs on the basis of symmetry analysis and analytical expressions of optical transition matrix elements. Under incident light that is linearly polarized along the ribbon, we determine that the optical transition selection rule for N-ZPNR with even-or odd-N is qualitatively different. Specifically, for even-N ZPNRs, the inter-(intra-) band selection rule is ?n =odd(even) because the parity of the wavefunction corresponding to the n-th subband in the conduction(valence) band is(-1)~n[(-1)~((n+1))] owing to the presence of C(2x) symmetry. However, the optical transitions between any subbands are possible owing to the absence of C(2x) symmetry.
