A Survivability Routing Mechanism in SDN Enabled Wireless Mesh Networks:Design and Evaluation显示文摘In software-defined networking, the separation of control plane from forwarding plane introduces new challenges to network reliability. This paper proposes a fault-tolerant routing mechanism to improve survivability by converting the survivability problem into two sub-problems:constructing an elastic-aware routing tree and controller selection.Based on the shortest path tree, this scheme continuously attempts to prune the routing tree to enhance network survivability. After a certain number of iterations,elastic-aware routing continues to improve network resiliency by increasing the number of edges in this tree.Simulation results demonstrate this fault-tolerant mechanism performs better than the traditional method in terms of the number of protected nodes and network fragility indicator. | Yuhuai Peng Xiaoxue Gong Lei Guo Dezhi Kong | 2016 | China Communications2016,13,7: | 2
Novel distributed UEP rateless coding scheme for data transmission in deep space networks显示文摘In deep space data transmission systems, deep space networks can be constructed on different orbits, and the data from each orbit are always associated with the different reliability requirements. In this study, a novel UEP(unequal error protection) transmission scheme based on distributed LT codes is proposed in order to ensure that all the data can be transmitted according to their own reliability requirements and obtain high transmission efficiency property. In the proposed scheme, the sub-codes on each node(orbits) were performed by a classic LT encoding process. By assigning different degree distributions to the sub-codes, all types of data can be transmitted with better transmission efficiency in comparison to the traditional scheme, and can be recovered at the destination with their own reliability requirements. Moreover, the design of the proposed scheme is much easier than that of the traditional scheme, and is also suitable to the strictly limited processing capacity property of deep space networks. By carrying out asymptotic analysis on the proposed scheme, and by obtaining the numerical and simulation results, it can be seen that the proposed scheme can approximately achieve the same UEP property and much better transmission efficiency than the traditional scheme. Additionally, the results demonstrate that the proposed scheme is much more suitable to deep space network data transmission, in comparison to the traditional scheme. | Shuang WU Dezhi LI Zhenyong WANG Qing GUO | 2018 | Science China(Information Sciences)2018,61,4: | 2

Genome-wide signatures of the geographic expansion and breeding of soybean显示文摘Soybean is a leguminous crop that provides oil and protein. Exploring the genomic signatures of soybean evolution is crucial for breeding varieties with improved adaptability to environmental extremes. We analyzed the genome sequences of 2,214 soybeans and proposed a soybean evolutionary route, i.e., the expansion of annual wild soybean(Glycine soja Sieb. & Zucc.) from southern China and its domestication in central China, followed by the expansion and local breeding selection of its landraces(G. max(L.) Merr.). We observed that the genetic introgression in soybean landraces was mostly derived from sympatric rather than allopatric wild populations during the geographic expansion. Soybean expansion and breeding were accompanied by the positive selection of flowering time genes, including GmSPA3c. Our study sheds light on the evolutionary history of soybean and provides valuable genetic resources for its future breeding. | Ying-Hui Li Chao Qin Li Wang Chengzhi Jiao Huilong Hong Yu Tian Yanfei Li Guangnan Xing Jun Wang Yongzhe Gu Xingpeng Gao Delin Li Hongyu Li Zhangxiong Liu Xin Jing Beibei Feng Tao Zhao Rongxia Guan Yong Guo Jun Liu Zhe Yan Lijuan Zhang Tianli Ge Xiangkong Li Xiaobo Wang Hongmei Qiu Wanhai Zhang Xiaoyan Luan Yingpeng Han Dezhi Han Ruzhen Chang Yalong Guo Jochen C.Reif Scott A.Jackson Bin Liu Shilin Tian Li-juan Qiu | 2023 | Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,2: | 1
Room-Temperature Magnetism of Ceria Nanocubes by Inductively Transferring Electrons to Ce Atoms from Nearby Oxygen Vacancy显示文摘Ceria(CeO_2) nanocubes were synthesized by a hydrothermal method and weak ferromagnetism was observed in room temperature. After ultraviolet irradiation, the saturation magnetization was significantly enhanced from*3.18×10^(-3) to *1.89×10^(-2) emug^(-1). This is due to the increase of oxygen vacancies in CeO_2 structure which was confirmed by X-ray photoelectron spectra. The first-principle calculation with Vienna ab-initio simulation package was used to illustrate the enhanced ferromagnetism mechanism after calculating the density of states(DOSs) and partial density of states(PDOSs) of CeO_2 without and with different oxygen vacancies. It was found that the increase of oxygen vacancies will enlarge the PDOSs of Ce 4f orbital and DOSs. Two electrons in one oxygen vacancy are respectively excited to 4f orbital of two Ce atoms neighboring the vacancy, making these electron spin directions on 4f orbitals of these two Ce atoms parallel. This superexchange interaction leads to the formation of ferromagnetism in CeO_2 at room temperature. Our work indicates that ultraviolet irradiation is an effective method to enhance the magnetism of CeO_2 nanocube, and the firstprinciple calculation can understand well the enhanced magnetism. | Yue Kang Qiang Leng Donglin Guo Dezhi Yang Yanping Pu Chenguo Hu | 2016 | Nano-Micro Letters2016,8,1: | 1

Correlation of brain-derived neurotrophic factor to cognitive impairment following traumatic brain injury in rats显示文摘BACKGROUND: In vitro and in vivo studies have confirmed that brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) can promote survival and differentiation of cholinergic, dopaminergic and motor neurons, and axonal regeneration. BDNF has neuroprotective effects on the nervous system. OBJECTIVE: To explore changes in BDNF expression and cognitive function in rats after brain injury. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING: The neuropathology experiment was performed at the Second Research Room,Department of Neurosurgery,Fujian Medical University (China) from July 2007 to July 2008. MATERIALS: A total of 72 healthy, male,Sprague Dawley, rats were selected for this study. METHODS: Rat models of mild and moderate traumatic brain injury were created by percussion, according to Feeney’s method (n = 24,each group). A bone window was made in rats from the sham operation group (n = 24),but no attack was conducted. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: At days 1,2,4 and 7 following injury,BDNF expression in the rat frontal lobe cortex, hippocampus and basal forebrain was examined by immunohistochemistry (streptavidin-biotin-peroxidase complex method). Changes in rat cognitive function were assessed by the walking test,balance-beam test and memory function detection. RESULTS: Cognitive impairment was aggravated at day 2,and recovered to normal at days 3 and 7 in rats from the mild and moderate traumatic brain injury groups. BDNF expression in the rat frontal lobe cortex, hippocampus and basal forebrain was increased at 1 day, decreased at day 2,and then gradually increased in the mild and moderate traumatic brain injury groups. BDNF expression was greater in rats from the moderate traumatic brain injury group than in the sham operation and mild traumatic brain injury groups (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: BDNF expression in the rat frontal lobe cortex, hippocampus and basal forebrain is correlated to cognitive impairment after traumatic brain injury. BDNF has a protective effect on cognitive function in rats following injury. | Dezhi Kang Zhang Guo | 2008 | Neural Regeneration Research2008,3,11: | 0

Investigation on Agronomic Characters of Dwarf Mutant 778 in Broomcorn Millet(Panicum miliaceum L.)and Analysis of Its Sensitivity to GA显示文摘In order to investigate the differences between agronomic traits of dwarf mutant and original material 260 and whether the cause of dwarf is related to GA synthesis or signaling pathway, this experiment used dwarf mutant 778 and its original material 260 as experimental materials.Morphological observation and determination were performed for agronomic traits on plant height, ear length, internode length, internode number, seed length, seed width and number of seeds in different growth periods and different concentrations. The plants were treated by GA spraying, and the changes of plant height, root length, stem width, leaf length and leaf width were measured. The results are as follows:①The plant height of the dwarf mutant material was significantly different from that of the original high material, which was mainly caused by the difference between above-ground basal part and the length of the first and second elongation joints.②Comparing and analyzing the differences of traits between dwarf mutant material 778 and original high material 260,it was found that the plant height, ear length, internode number, grain number per ear and internode length of dwarf mutant 778 were significantly lower than that of high stalk 260(P<0.01),and the seed length of dwarf mutant 778 was significantly higher than that of high stalk 260(P<0.05).③Different concentrations of gibberellin(0,50,100,200 mg/L)had no significant effect on plant height and root length of dwarf mutant 778(P>0.05).Different concentrations of gibberellin had significant effects on plant height, root length and sensitivity coefficient of high stalk 260(P<0.05).And compared with the control group, all high materials 260 treated with different concentrations of gibberellin performed differently in plant morphology and growth potential.④Under the conditions of 100 and 200 mg/L GA,the difference of plant height between the dwarf mutant and the high stalk control decreased with time, and there was no difference at the end. There were no differences in sensitivity coefficient GRI between different concentrations of gibberellin treatment groups, indicating that the external gibberellin could restore the scorpion dwarf mutant to the original high stalk, and the gene that causes the mutation might be related with the gibberellin synthesis pathway. | Bo ZHANG Xiaojie LIU Yingjie GUO Xiaoping JIA Dezhi YANG Yuan ZHAO Lingfeng DAI Shujun KOU Xiaomei ZHANG Dianyun HOU Xuehai ZHU | 2020 | Agricultural Biotechnology2020,9,4: | 0

The Performance Analysis for Distributed Collaborative Beamforming Transmission of Clustered Mobile Sensor Network显示文摘Sensor nodes cannot directly communicate with the distant unmanned aerial vehicle( UAV) for their low transmission power. Distributed collaborative beamforming from sensor nodes within a cluster is proposed to provide high speed data transmission to the distant UAV. The bit error ratio( BER) closed-form expression of distributed collaborative beamforming transmission with mobile sensor nodes has been derived. Furthermore, based on the theoretical BER analysis and the numerical results,we have analyzed the impacts of nodes 'mobility, number of sensor nodes, transmission power and the elevation angle of UAV on the BER performance of collaborative beamforming. And we come to the following conclusions: the mobility of sensor nodes largely decreases the BER performance; when the position deviation radius is large, incensement in power cannot improve BER anymore; the size of cluster should be bigger than 10 for the purpose of achieving good BER performance in Rayleigh fading channel. | Fangyuan Yu Dezhi Li Qing Guo Bo Zeng Zhenyong Wang | 2016 | Journal of Harbin Institute of Technology(New Series)2016,23,4: | 0

Involvement of sulfur assimilation in the low β subunit content of soybean seed storage protein revealed by comparative transcriptome analysis显示文摘The β subunit of soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] seed storage protein is of great significance in sulfur-containing amino acid balance and soybean processing properties. The objective of this study was to elucidate the relationship between the β subunit and sulfur-containing amino acid composition, and the potential regulatory mechanism. The β subunit was independently accumulated in comparison with other major subunits (α/α′, acidic, basic, and A3) during seed filling, and a low level of β subunit content (BSC) was formed during the accumulation process. In low-BSC mature seeds, crude protein, oil content, and fatty acid composition were not changed, but sulfur-containing amino acids (Cys + Met) in the low- BSC seeds increased significantly (by 31.5%), suggesting that an internal regulatory mechanism within seed might be responsible for the rebalance of seed protein composition and that sulfur assimilation might be deeply involved in β subunit accumulation. Transcriptomic analysis revealed that genes involved in anabolism of cysteine, methionine, and glutathione were up-regulated but those involved in the catabolism of these compounds were down-regulated, suggesting a relationship between the elevation of methionine and glutathione and low BSC. Our study sheds light on seed composition in low BSC lines and on the potential molecular regulatory mechanism of β subunit accumulation, broadening our understanding of soybean seed protein synthesis and its regulation. | Xi Zhang Ruixin Xu Wei Hu Wan Wang Dezhi Han Fan Zhang Yongzhe Gu Yong Guo Jun Wang Lijuan Qiu | 2019 | The Crop Journal2019,7,4: | 0
