1Factors Associated with Thrombolysis Outcome in Ischemic Stroke Patients with Atrial Fibrillation显示文摘The outcome of early intravenous thrombolysis for ischemic stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation(AF)is worse than that without thrombosis. How to increase the efficacy of intravenous thrombolysis for AF-related ischemic stroke remains largely unknown. In this study, we investigated factors that influence the effect of intravenous thrombolysis in these patients. Our results showed that thrombolysis was independently associated with a favorable outcome(P \ 0.001) and did not influence the mortality of AF-related ischemic stroke, although it increased the risk of hemorrhage within 24 h after treatment. Risk factors for a poor outcome at admission were:heart failure(P = 0.045); high systolic pressure(P = 0.039); high blood glucose(P = 0.030); and a high National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) score(P \ 0.001). Moreover, high systolic pressure at admission(P = 0.007), high blood glucose(P = 0.027), and a high NIHSS score(P \ 0.001) were independent risk factors for mortality at 3 months. Besides thrombolysis, a high NIHSS score(P = 0.006) and warfarin taken within 48 h before stroke onset(P = 0.032) were also independent risk factors for symptomatic hemorrhage within 24 h after treatment. 2Genome-and transcriptome-wide association studies provide insights into the genetic basis of natural variation of seed oil content in Brassica napus显示文摘Seed oil content(SOC)is a highly important and complex trait in oil crops.Here,we decipher the genetic basis of natural variation in SOC of Brassica napus by genome-and transcriptome-wide association studies using 505 inbred lines.We mapped reliable quantitative trait loci(QTLs)that control SOC in eight environments,evaluated the effect of each QTL on SOC,and analyzed selection in QTL regions during breeding.Six-hundred and ninety-two genes and four gene modules significantly associated with SOC were identified by analyzing population transcriptomes from seeds.A gene prioritization framework,POCKET(prioritizing the candidate genes by incorporating information on knowledge-based gene sets,effects of variants,genome-wide association studies,and transcriptome-wide association studies),was implemented to determine the causal genes in the QTL regions based on multi-omic datasets.A pair of homologous genes,BnPMT6s,in two QTLs were identified and experimentally demonstrated to negatively regulate SOC.This study provides rich genetic resources for improving SOC and valuable insights toward understanding the complex machinery that directs oil accumulation in the seeds of B.napus and other oil crops.Shan Tang Hu Zhao Shaoping Lu Liangqian Yu Guofang Zhang Yuting Zhang Qing-Yong Yang Yongming Zhou Xuemin Wang Wei Ma Weibo Xie Liang Guo 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,3:6

5Operation of silicon-germanium heterojunction bipolar transistors with different structures at deep cryogenic temperature显示文摘In this work, the device performances of discrete and integrated SiGe heterojunction bipolar transistors(HBTs) with different device structures from 300 to 4.8 K were investigated. The turn-on voltages of baseemitter and base-collector junctions increased non-linearly with temperature cooled to 4.8 K. Energy bandgap engineering was taken into account for the analytical model of the turn-on voltage versus temperature. Incomplete ionization occurred in the base-collector junction because of the low doping concentration. The trap-assisted tunneling current in the forward base current was clearly observed below20 K. The ideality factor and saturation current were shown to be temperature dependence. The ideality factor was much larger than 2 below 40 K, indicating that the current is not only contributed by drift, diffusion and recombination, but also by tunneling. The peak current gain of the discrete SiGe HBTs achieved the maximum value of 3,388 at 80 K, while that of the integrated was 546 at 140 K. The transconductance in logarithm was linearly dependent on reciprocal temperature above 50 K, but flattened below 50 K.Early effect was evidently observed below 77 K in the fixed base current output characteristics of the discrete SiGe HBTs, and it was not obvious for the integrated SiGe HBTs.Guofang Yu Renrong Liang Xiawa Wang Jun Xu Tian-Ling Ren 2019Science Bulletin2019,64,7:1
6Variation in plant diversity and dominance across dune fixation stages in the Chinese steppe zone显示文摘Aims Our aim was to study how diversity and dominance of plant species and plant functional types(PFTs)change and covary across three dune fixation stages in the Chinese steppe zone.Methods In the Chinese steppe zone,we measured coverage,mean height and density of each plant species in three types of dunes(mobile,semi-fixed and fixed dunes)in four sites(Mu Us,Otindag,Hulunbeir and Horqin).Plant species were grouped into 24 PFTs according to their lifespan,photosynthetic pathway,reproductive mode and life form.Dominance of each plant species and PFT were determined,and species diversity and PFT diversity were quantified using Shannon–Wiener index.Important Findings PFT diversity was positively related to plant species diversity in each dune stage,but PFT diversity increased more with increasing plant species diversity in the mobile and semi-fixed dunes than in the fixed dunes.Dune fixation stage explained 87.2%of the variation in plant species diversity and 84.8%of the variation in PFT diversity.Dominant species and PFTs differed among the three dune fixation stages;the more fixed the dunes were,the more perennial,shrubby,clonal and C3 species co-dominated.Specifically,in mobile dunes annual C4 non-clonal herbs were the most dominant,and in semi-fixed and fixed dunes perennial C3 clonal shrubs were most dominant.Jianjiang Qiao Weiwei Zhao Xiufang Xie Guofang Liu Xuehua Ye Yu Chu Hui He Ming Dong 2012Journal of Plant Ecology2012,5,3:1

8Electrospun Nanofibers Withstandable to High-Temperature Reactions: Synergistic Effect of Polymer Relaxation and Solvent Removal显示文摘Fiber breakage is found to be a ubiquitous phenomenon during the thermal treatments for electrospun nanofibers,because of the presence of solvent molecules and unrelaxed assembly of polymer chains.Here a strengthening strategy is designed by introducing a pre-heating stage for the as-spun nanofibers.At a temperature above the polymer’s glass transition temperature,the chains can get sufficiently relaxed by the aid of hot solvent,and at the same time,the solvent confined in the entangled chains can fully and steadily evaporate,but not erupt,off the nanofiber,when the temperature is just as high as the boiling point.Therefore,the nanofibers become more uniform in structure and can withstand the subsequent thermal reactions.For polyacrylonitrile-based electrospinning,such strategy can improve the final tensile strength from 42 to 112 MPa for the nanofiber films.Guofang Hu Xiaohua Zhang Xiaoyan Liu Jianyong Yu Bin Ding 2021Advanced Fiber Materials2021,3,1:0

10Apelin aggravates the migration and invasion of non-small cell lung cancer cells via YAP1显示文摘Background:Apelin,an endogenous ligand of G-protein coupled receptor(GPCR),is a secreted peptide involved in the development of various tumors.However,the relationship between apelin and non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)is not quite clear.This study was designed to investigate the effect and mechanism of apelin on cell proliferation,migration and invasion of NSCLC cells.Methods:Twelve NSCLC specimens were collected for hematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining and immunohistochemistry analyses.Cell proliferation was examined by 3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT)and cell migration and invasion were assessed using wound-healing and transwell assays.The subcellular location of yes associated protein 1(YAP1)in A549 cells was determined by immunofluorescence.The mRNA and protein levels in NSCLC tissues and cell lines were measured by qRT-PCR and western blot,respectively.Results:Apelin was upregulated in tumor tissues compared with the adjacent tissues.Apelin promoted proliferation,migration,and invasion of A549 and H460 cells,which was reversed by competitive apelin receptor(APJ)antagonist ML221.Additionally,apelin upregulated YAP1 expression,whereas silence of YAP1 by small interfering RNA(siRNA)attenuated apelin-induced cell proliferation,migration and invasion and suppressed epithelial-mesenchymal transition progression.Conclusion:Apelin promotes NSCLC cells proliferation,migration,and invasion by modulating YAP1 and might be a potential therapeutic target for NSCLC treatment.Wenchao Ma Di Zhu Tong Yu Junwen Xue Xiang Sun Guofang Zhang Yumeng Hou Jinrui Li Yingzhun Chen Hongli Shan Haihai Liang 2022Frigid Zone Medicine2022,2,1:0
11Geometry characteristics and wide temperature behavior of silicon-based GaN surface acoustic wave resonators with ultrahigh quality factor显示文摘Surface acoustic wave(SAW)resonators with an ultrahigh Q-factor are designed and fabricated on silicon-based gallium nitride(GaN/Si).The temperature-dependent performance is characterized over a wide range,from 10 to 500 K.Finite element analysis is employed to guide the design of the SAW resonator from indications of the Rayleigh mode and weak propagation direction dependence of SAW in the c-plane of GaN/Si.The SAW resonator with 100 pairs of interdigital transducers(IDT),100 pairs of grating reflectors(GR)for each side,aperture size of 80μm,metallization ratio of 0.5,and electrode width of 500 nm resonates at 1.9133 GHz accordingly with an ultrahigh Q-factor of 7622 at room temperature,which contributes the f_(r)×Q_(r),up to 14.583×10^(12)Hz.A resonator operating over 10 to 500 K indicates an approximately linear decreasing temperature dependence above 280 K while being approximately constant below 40 K.The fitting to resonator characteristics using the modified Butterworth Van Dyke(mBVD)model reveals a reduction in both the electrode and mechanical losses while worsening the dielectric loss with cooling down.Guofang YU Renrong LIANG Haiming ZHAO Lei XIAO Jie CUI Yue ZHAO Wenpu CUI Jing WANG Jun XU Jun FU Tianling REN 2024Science China(Information Sciences)2024,67,2:0

13Quasi-Solid-State Composite Electrolytes with Multifunctional 2D Molecular Brush Fillers for Long-Cycling Lithium Metal Batteries显示文摘The ever-growing demand for next-generation high-energy-density devices drives the development of lithium metal batteries with enough safety and high performance,in which quasi-solid-state composite electrolytes(QSCEs)with high ionic conductivity and lithium ion transference number(urn:x-wiley:1001604X:media:cjoc202300232:cjoc202300232-math-0001)are highly desirable.Herein,we successfully synthesize a kind of two-dimensional(2D)molecular brush(GO-g-PFIL)via grafting poly(ionic liquid)side-chain(poly(3-(3,3,4,4,4-pentafluorobutyl)-1-vinyl-1H-imidazol-3-ium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide),denoted as PFIL)on the surface of 2D graphene oxide(GO)sheet.GO-g-PFIL is used as multifunctional filler to prepare novel composite membranes and corresponding QSCEs(e.g.,QSCE-PH/GPFIL3/P).The as-obtained QSCE-PH/GPFIL3/P integrates features of PFIL side-chain-enhanced lithium ion conduction,poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropene)backbone-induced flexibility,and GO-strengthened mechanical property.As a result,our ultrathin(21μm)self-supporting QSCE-PH/GPFIL3/P exhibits high ionic conductivity(3.24×10^(−4)S·cm^(−1))and excellent urn:x-wiley:1001604X:media:cjoc202300232:cjoc202300232-math-0002(0.82)at room temperature,and Li/LFP full cell with QSCE-PH/GPFIL3/P shows superior rate performance(high specific capacities of 79 mAh·g^(−1)at 30°C and 5 C)and excellent cycling performance(high capacity retention of 91%after 500 cycles at 80°C and 1 C).Yin Cui Guofang Yu Ruliang Liu Dongtian Miao Dingcai Wu 2023Chinese Journal of Chemistry2023,41,21:0
