3Indirect mineral carbonation of titanium-bearing blast furnace slag coupled with recovery of TiO_2 and Al_2O_3显示文摘Large quantities of CO_2 and blast furnace slag are discharged in the iron and steel industry. Mineral carbonation of blast furnace slag can offer substantial CO_2 emission reduction and comprehensive utilization of the solid waste.This paper describes a novel route for indirect mineral carbonation of titanium-bearing blast furnace(TBBF) slag,in which the TBBF slag is roasted with recyclable(NH_4)_2SO_4(AS) at low temperatures and converted into the sulphates of various valuable metals, including calcium, magnesium, aluminium and titanium. High value added Ti-and Al-rich products can be obtained through stepwise precipitation of the leaching solution from the roasted slag. The NH_3 produced during the roasting is used to capture CO_2 from flue gases. The NH_4HCO_3 and(NH_4)_2CO_3 thus obtained are used to carbonate the CaSO_4-containing leaching residue and MgSO_4-rich leaching solution, respectively. In this study, the process parameters and efficiency for the roasting, carbonation and Ti and Al recovery were investigated in detail. The results showed that the sulfation ratios of calcium,magnesium, titanium and aluminium reached 92.6%, 87% and 84.4%, respectively, after roasting at an AS-to-TBBF slag mass ratio of 2:1 and 350 °C for 2 h. The leaching solution was subjected to hydrolysis at 102 °C for 4 h with a Ti hydrolysis ratio of 95.7% and the purity of TiO_2 in the calcined hydrolysate reached 98 wt%.99.7% of aluminium in the Ti-depleted leaching solution was precipitated by using NH_3. The carbonation products of Ca and Mg were CaCO_3 and(NH_4)_2 Mg(CO_3)_2·4H_2O, respectively. The latter can be decomposed into MgCO_3 at 100–200 °C with simultaneous recovery of the NH_3 for reuse. In this process, approximately 82.1% of Ca and 84.2%of Mg in the TBBF slag were transformed into stable carbonates and the total CO_2 sequestration capacity per ton of TBBF slag reached up to 239.7 kg. 4Indirect mineral carbonation of blast furnace slag with(NH4)2SO4 as a recyclable extractant显示文摘Large quantities of CO_2 and blast furnace slag are discharged in the iron and steel industry. Mineral carbonation of blast furnace slag can offer substantial CO_2 emission reduction and comprehensive utilisation of the solid waste. In this study, a recyclable extractant,(NH_4)_2SO_4, was used to extract calcium and magnesium from blast furnace slag(main phases of gehlenite and akermanite) by using low-temperature roasting to fix CO_2 through aqueous carbonation. The process parameters and efficiency of the roasting extraction, mineralisation, and Al recovery were investigated in detail. The results showed that the extractions of Ca, Mg, and Al can reach almost 100% at an(NH4)_2SO_4-to-slag mass ratio of 3:1 and at 370°C in 1 h. Adjusting the p H value of the leaching solution of the roasted slag to 5.5 with the NH_3 released during the roasting resulted in 99% Al precipitation, while co-precipitation of Mg was lower than 2%. The Mg-rich leachate after the depletion of Al and the leaching residue(main phases of CaSO_4 and SiO_2) were carbonated using(NH_4)_2CO_3 and NH_4HCO_3 solutions, respectively, under mild conditions. Approximately 99% of Ca and 89% of Mg in the blast furnace slag were converted into CaCO_3 and(NH_4)_2 Mg(CO_3)_2·4 H_2O,respectively. The latter can be selectively decomposed to magnesium carbonate at 100-200 °C to recover the NH_3 for reuse. In the present route, the total CO_2 sequestration capacity per tonne of blast furnace slag reached up to 316 kg, and 313 kg of Al-rich precipitate, 1000 kg of carbonated product containing CaCO_3 and SiO_2, and 304 kg of carbonated product containing calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate were recovered simultaneously. 5Genetic diversity,population structure,and relationships of apricot(Prunus)based on restriction site-associated DNA sequencing显示文摘Single-nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)are the most abundant form of genomic polymorphisms and are widely used in population genetics research.Here,high-throughput sequencing was used to examine the genome-level diversity,population structure,and relationships of apricot,which are important for germplasm conservation and molecular breeding.Restriction site-associated DNA sequencing(RAD-seq)was adopted to sequence 168 Prunus spp.accessions distributed in five ecological groups,including 74 accessions of cultivated Prunus armeniaca L.and 94 accessions of wild apricots(P.armeniaca L.and Prunus sibirica L.),which generated 417,961 high-quality SNPs.We used cluster,genetic structure,and principal component analyses to examine the genetic diversities and genetic relationships of the 168 accessions.The Dzhungar-Ili ecological group accessions showed the highest genetic diversity in terms of private allele number,observed heterozygosity,and nucleotide diversity.We speculate that the Central Asian ecological group accessions were domesticated from the Dzhungar-Ili ecological group accessions.The population structure and gene flow of the North China and European ecological group accessions suggested a genetic background of P.sibirica.We argue that the two groups should be considered hybrid swarms connected to P.sibirica by continuous and extensive gene flow.P.armeniaca originated in Northwest China(Ili Valley),subsequently spread throughout Central Asia,and eventually spread to Europe.In addition,selective sweep signatures in P.armeniaca during domestication from wild to cultivated apricots,combined with differentially expressed genes,underlie distinct fruit traits,including sugars,aromas,organic acids,and carotenoids.This study provides substantive and valuable genomic resources that will significantly advance apricot improvement and effective utilization.Wenwen Li Liqiang Liu Yanan Wang Qiuping Zhang Guoquan Fan Shikui Zhang Yatong Wang Kang Liao 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:9
6Simultaneous preparation of TiO2 and ammonium alum,and microporous SiO2 during the mineral carbonation of titanium-bearing blast furnace slag显示文摘In this study,a route for simultaneous mineralization of CO2 and production of titanium dioxide and ammonium alum,and microporous silicon dioxide from titanium-bearing blast furnace slag(TBBF slag)was proposed,which is comprised of(NH4)2 S04 roasting,acid leaching,ammonium alum crystallization,silicic acid flocculation and Ti hydrolysis.The effects of relevant process parameters were systematically investigated.The re sults showed that under the optimal roasting and leaching conditions about 85%of titanium and 84.6%of aluminum could be extracted while only 30%of silicon entered the leachate.84%of Al^3+was crystallized from the leachate in the form of ammonium aluminum sulfate dodecahydrate with a purity up to 99.5 wt%.About 85%of the soluble silicic acid was flocculated with the aid of secondary alcohol polyoxyethylene ether 9(AEO-9)to yield a microporous SiO2 material(97.4 wt%)from the crystallized mother liquor.The Al-and Si-depleted solution was then hydrolyzed to generate a titanium dioxide(99.1 wt%)with uniform particle size distribution.It was figured out that approximately 146 kg TiO2 could be produced from 1000 kg of TBBF slag.Therefore,the improved process is a promising method for industrial application.Yingjie Xiong Tahani Aldahri Weizao Liu Guanrun Chu Guoquan Zhang Dongmei Luo Hairong Yue Bin Liang Chun Li 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,9:7
7A new Monte Carlo simulation of three-dimensional microstructures and their evolution in polycrystalline显示文摘A new Monte Carlo simulation method for studying three-dimensional microstructures as well as their evolution in polycrystalline materials has been set up. The algorithm is simple and flexible to apply. With the present method, kinetics of three-dimensional grain growth is accurately reflected and the simulation efficiency is greatly improved. 8Microstructure Stability of V and Ta Microalloyed 12%Cr Reduced Activation Ferrite/Martensite Steel during Long-term Aging at 650℃显示文摘In view of developing novel alloys for applications in supercritical water-cooled reactor fuel cladding and in-core components, a 12%Cr reduced activation ferrite/martensite(RAFM) steel with good corrosion resistance and irradiation performance was developed. V and Ta were added to form fine MX type carbonitrides and enhance the high temperature creep rupture strength. Microstructure stability of the steel during long-term aging at 650 C was studied experimentally combined with the simulation of ThermoCalc and DICTRA software. The results show that the precipitates in the steel during long-term aging contain M23C6, MX and Laves phase. M23C6 carbides play a major role in the stabilization of the tempered martensite lath structure by exerting a large Zener pinning force as compared with MX and Laves phase.Adding V and Ta in the steel can not only promote MX precipitation, but also refine M23C6 carbides and thus improve the thermal stability of lath/subgrains, which is beneficial to the improvement of high temperature microstructure stability of the 12%Cr RAFM steel.Xiang Xiao Guoquan Liu Benfu Hu Jinsan Wang Wenbin Ma 2015Journal of Materials Science & Technology2015,31,3:5
9Kinetics and Grain Size Distribution of Two Dimensional Normal Grain Growth with the Modified Monte Carlo Simulation显示文摘The two-dimensional normal grain growth has been simulated with Monte Carlo method. With a newly modified algorithm, the attained time exponent of grain growth n equals 0.49±0.01,very close to the theoretical value 0.5. By simulating the complete process of normal grain growth, the grain size distribution is found to be initially a gamma distribution, then varies continuously and slowly with time, finally approaches the function proposed by Hillert in 1965 at the quasi steady grain growth stage. 10Changes in Antioxidant Enzyme Activities and Malondialdehyde(MDA) Content of Rice with Blast Resistance Induced by Ag-antibiotic 702显示文摘The paper was to explore the effect of rice blast resistance induced by Ag-antibiotic 702 on antioxidant enzyme activities and malondialdehyde( MDA)content. At three-leaf and one-heart stage of Luliangyou 996,15 μg/mL Ag-antibiotic 702 was sprayed,while Validamycin and distilled water were sprayed as positive control and negative control,respectively. The antioxidant enzyme( SOD,POD,PPO,CAT and PAL) activities and malondialdehyde( MDA) content in rice leaves were determined every 24 h within 168 h post spraying. Compared with CK,the MDA content and activities of the five antioxidant enzymes increased in Agantibiotic 702 treatment,Validamycin treatment and M. grisea inoculation treatment. The MDA content and SOD,CAT and POD activities in Ag-antibiotic 702 treatment were significantly higher than those in M. grisea inoculation treatment in early stage,and the APX and LOX activities increased more remarkably and rapidly. The induction effect of Ag-antibiotic 702 could reach or exceed that of Validamycin treatment. Ag-antibiotic 702 enhanced the resistance to rice blast because MDA content and antioxidant enzymes activities were improved in rice leaves. 11Inhibition of adipogenic differentiation by myostatin is alleviated by arginine supplementation in porcine-muscle-derived mesenchymal stem cells显示文摘Porcine mesenchymal stem cells in postnatal muscle have been demonstrated to differentiate into adipocytes.This increases adipocyte number and lipid accumulation,and is thought to be the origin of intramuscular fat.In this study,the effects of myostatin and arginine on adipogenic differentiation in mesenchymal stem cells derived from porcine muscle (pMDSCs) were investigated in vitro.Intracellular triglyceride levels were reduced by exogenous myostatin and increased by arginine supplementation or myostatin antibody (P<0.01).The inhibition of lipid accumulation by myostatin in pMDSCs was alleviated by arginine supplementation (P<0.01).Expression patterns of adipogenic transcription factors showed that exogenous myostatin suppressed PPARγ2 and aP2 expression (P<0.01),while supplemental arginine or myostatin antibody promoted ADD1 expression (P<0.01).Furthermore,compared with the addition of either myostatin protein or antibody alone,ADD1 and PPARδ expression were promoted by the combination of arginine and myostatin (P<0.01),and arginine combined with myostatin antibody promoted the expression of ADD1,PPAR,C/EBP,PPAR 2 and LPL in pMDSCs (P<0.05).These results suggest that myostatin inhibits adipogenesis in pMDSCs,and that this can be alleviated by arginine supplementation,at least in part,through promoting ADD1 and PPAR expression.LEI HuLong YU Bing YANG XueRong LIU ZeHui HUANG ZhiQing MAO XiangBing TIAN Gang HE Jun HAN GuoQuan CHEN Hong MAO Qian CHEN DaiWen 2011Science China(Life Sciences)2011,54,10:4

13Hot deformation behavior of FGH96 superalloys显示文摘The hot deformation behavior of FGH96 superalloys at 1070-1170°C and 5×10?4-2×10?1 s?1 were investigated by means of the isothermal compression tests at a Gleeble-1500 thermal mechanical simulator. 14Microdisk lasers on an erbium-doped lithium-niobite chip显示文摘Lithium niobate on insulator(LNOI) provides a platform for the fundamental physics investigations and practical applications of integrated photonics. However, as an indispensable building block of integrated photonics, lasers are in short supply. In this paper, erbium-doped LNOI laser in the 1550-nm band was demonstrated in microdisk cavities with high quality factors fabricated in batches by UV exposure, inductively coupled plasma reactive ion etching, and chemomechanical polishing. The threshold and conversion efficiency of the erbium-doped LNOI microdisk laser were measured to be lower than 1 m W and 6.5×10^(-5)%, respectively. 16Three-Dimensional and Cross-sectional Characteristics of Normal Grain Growth Based on Monte Carlo Simulation显示文摘An appropriate Monte Carlo method was developed to simulate the three-dimensional normal grain growth more completely. Comparative investigation on the three-dimensional and the cross-sectional characteristics of normal grain growth was done. It was found that the time exponent of grain growth determined from cross-section exhibits the same rule of increasing slowly with time and approaching the theoretical value n = 0.5 of steadygrain growth as the three-dimensional (3-D) system. From change of the number of grains per unit area with timemeasured in cross-section, the state of 3-D normal grain growth may be predicted. The gtain size distribution incross-section is different from that in 3-D system and can not express the evolution characteristic of the 3-D distribution. 17Preparation of ultrafine WC-Co cermets by combining pretreatment and consolidation with spark plasma sintering显示文摘Ultrafine-grained WC-Co bulk materials were prepared by a new method that contains pretreatment of the milled powder mixture and subsequent spark plasma sintering (SPS). Ball milling parameters and the pretreatment temperature have significant effects on the microstructure and properties of WC-Co cermets. The prepared cermets have a mean grain size of less than 0.5 μm even with a pretreatment temperature as high as 1300°C. 18Cooling γ′ precipitation behavior and strengthening in powder metallurgy su-peralloy FGH4096显示文摘Two cooling schemes (continuous cooling and interrupted cooling tests) were applied to investigate the cooling γ′ precipitation behavior in powder metallurgy superalloy FGH4096. The effect of cooling rate on cooling γ′ precipitation and the development of γ′ precipitates during cooling process were involved in this study. The ultimate tensile strength (UTS) of the specimens in various cooling circumstances was tested. The experiential equations were obtained between the average sizes of secondary and tertiary γ′ precipitates, the strength, and cooling rate. The results show that they are inversely correlated with the cooling rate as well as the grain boundary changes from serrated to straight, the shape of secondary γ′ precipitates changes from irregular cuboidal to spherical, while the formed tertiary γ′ precipitates are always spherical. The interrupted cooling tests show that the average size of secondary γ′ precipitates increases as a linear function of interrupt temperature for a fixed cooling rate of 24°C/min.
