2Plasmon-tunable Au@Ag core-shell spiky nanoparticles for surfaceenhanced Raman scattering显示文摘A facile synthetic approach has been developed to prepare uniform and size-tunable spiky Au@Ag core-shell nan oparticles (NPs) to tailor the localized surface plasm on res onance (LSPR) properties. The gradual assembly of small Au nano crystals allows the size of spiky Au NPs to be modulated from tens to several hundreds of nano meters by tuning the concentration of initial Au seeds and Au source;and the thick ness of the Ag shell can be adjusted with stepwise reduction of Ag(l)ions. The LSPR bands of such spiky Au@Ag core-shell NPs resemble those of pure spiky Au NP cores of similar sizes in near-infrared region, and increasing the Ag shell thickness results in a blue shift and broadening of the LSPR band in the n ear-i nfrared regi on. Additi on ally, the spiky Au@Ag core-shell NPs exhibit improved surface-e nhan ced Rama n scattering (SERS) activity as compared to the bare spiky Au NPs and spherical Ag@Au NPs. 3Effect of Friction Reclaimed Materials of Waste Brake-shoe on Basic Performance of Mortar显示文摘Discarded train brake shoes mainly consist of steel-backed friction material. To be better reutilized, its essential features and its interaction in cement-based material need to be studied. Consequently, particle size analysis, SEM, IR and TGA were used to investigate two types of waste brake shoes, i e, mechanical grinding friction reclaimed material of waste brake-shoe(G-FRMWBS) and pyrolysis-friction reclaimed materials of waste brake-shoe(P-FRMWBS). The latter exhibited less organic content, larger range of particle size distribution and smaller medium particle diameter. Both types contained inorganic particles of spherical and irregular shapes, striped with steel fiber. Upon isometric substituting fine aggregates, G-FRMWBS lifted the strength of mortar effectively that was increased by 16.6% and 17.5% when the replacing rate was 5%; the value went up to 19.2% and 19.2% when the replacing rate was 10%. 5Synthesis of Phenyl Acetate from Phenol and Acetic Anhydride over Synthetic TS-1 Containing Template显示文摘In this article, phenyl acetate was synthesized from phenol and acetic anhydride over titanium silicalite-1, in which the organic structure-directing agents were immobilized(TS-1-U). The reaction conditions were specified at a phenol to acetic anhydride molar ratio of 1:1.2, a catalyst dosage of 6 m%, and a reaction temperature of 70 ℃. A total of 96.5% of phenol was converted to phenyl acetate without producing any byproducts after 2.5 h of reaction. 11Hedgehog signaling in tissue homeostasis, cancers, and targeted therapies显示文摘The past decade has seen significant advances in our understanding of Hedgehog(HH)signaling pathway in various biological events.HH signaling pathway exerts its biological effects through a complex signaling cascade involved with primary cilium.HH signaling pathway has important functions in embryonic development and tissue homeostasis.It plays a central role in the regulation of the proliferation and differentiation of adult stem cells.Importantly,it has become increasingly clear that HH signaling pathway is associated with increased cancer prevalence,malignant progression,poor prognosis and even increased mortality.Understanding the integrative nature of HH signaling pathway has opened up the potential for new therapeutic targets for cancer.A variety of drugs have been developed,including small molecule inhibitors,natural compounds,and long non-coding RNA(LncRNA),some of which are approved for clinical use.This review outlines recent discoveries of HH signaling in tissue homeostasis and cancer and discusses how these advances are paving the way for the development of new biologically based therapies for cancer.Furthermore,we address status quo and limitations of targeted therapies of HH signaling pathway.Insights from this review will help readers understand the function of HH signaling in homeostasis and cancer,as well as opportunities and challenges of therapeutic targets for cancer.Junjun Jing Zhuoxuan Wu Jiahe Wang Guowen Luo Hengyi Lin Yi Fan Chenchen Zhou 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,9:0
12FedNRM:A Federal Personalized News Recommendation Model Achieving User Privacy Protection显示文摘In recent years,the type and quantity of news are growing rapidly,and it is not easy for users to find the news they are interested in the massive amount of news.A news recommendation system can score and predict the candidate news,and finally recommend the news with high scores to users.However,existing user models usually only consider users’long-term interests and ignore users’recent interests,which affects users’usage experience.Therefore,this paper introduces gated recurrent unit(GRU)sequence network to capture users’short-term interests and combines users’short-term interests and long-terminterests to characterize users.While existing models often only use the user’s browsing history and ignore the variability of different users’interest in the same news,we introduce additional user’s ID information and apply the personalized attention mechanism for user representation.Thus,we achieve a more accurate user representation.We also consider the risk of compromising user privacy if the user model training is placed on the server side.To solve this problem,we design the training of the user model locally on the client side by introducing a federated learning framework to keep the user’s browsing history on the client side.We further employ secure multiparty computation to request news representations from the server side,which protects privacy to some extent.Extensive experiments on a real-world news dataset show that our proposed news recommendation model has a better improvement in several performance evaluation metrics.Compared with the current state-of-the-art federated news recommendation models,our model has increased by 0.54%in AUC,1.97%in MRR,2.59%in nDCG@5%,and 1.89%in nDCG@10.At the same time,because we use a federated learning framework,compared with other centralized news recommendation methods,we achieve privacy protection for users.Shoujian Yu Zhenchi Jie Guowen Wu Hong Zhang Shigen Shen 2023Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing2023,37,8:0
13The history of agriculture in the mountainous areas of the lower Yangtze River since the late Neolithic显示文摘Understanding the role of agriculture in the development of human societies around the world is an important field of study with many unanswered questions.As a step toward that greater understanding,we have studied the archeobotanical remains at the Jingshuidun site in the mountainous areas of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River in southern Anhui Province which are part of the core area of rice cultivation today.Our analyses of macrobotanical remains and phytoliths formed the basis for the reconstruction of the subsistence economy of ancient humans at the Jingshuidun site from the late Neolithic to early historical times.When our data are combined with that of previous archeobotanical work,we obtain a clearer picture of the development of rice and millet agriculture in the southern Anhui Province region,as well as the spread of millet cultivation.Macrobotanical remains and phytoliths of domesticated rice are present in layers at the Jingshuidun site dated to 4874–4820 cal.yr B.P.(middle-late Liangzhu Period)and 2667–2568 cal.yr B.P.(late Western Zhou Dynasty to the early Spring and Autumn Period).Moreover,macrobotanical remains and phytoliths from the site document the earliest remains of foxtail millet(Setaria italica)in southern Anhui Province,from a layer dating to the late Western Zhou Dynasty and the early Spring and Autumn Period(2667–2568 cal.yr B.P.).These results suggest that the people occupying the Jingshuidun site used single rice farming as far back as 4874–4820 cal.yr B.P.,and they began to plant millet by at least 2667–2568 cal.yr B.P.,documenting the spread of millet agriculture to the southern area by that time.Jingyi WANG Xiaochun CHEN Guilin ZHANG Guowen ZHANG Yan WU 2022Frontiers of Earth Science2022,16,3:0
