1Characteristics of Long Air Gap Discharge Current Subjected to Switching Impulse显示文摘Measuring the pre-breakdown current of long sparks in air is important for investigating the discharge mechanism.Since the breakdown of long air gaps is conducted by a series of streamer-leader processes,the corresponding current signals cover a bandwidth of 0 to more than 20 MHz.Measurement accuracy of the current from the high voltage side is affected by the displacement current and impulse electromagnetic interference.In this paper,a coaxial current sensor with a DC bandwidth of 74.45 MHz is developed.A displacement current-restrained electrode structure is proposed to reduce the equivalent capacitance between the current sensor and the ground over 30 times.Combined with the digital optical fiber synchronous acquisition unit,a current measurement system for long air gap discharge is established.For the purpose of the UHV system’s external insulation optimization design,the discharge current waveform of a 6 m rod-plane air gap under positive switching impulse voltage with 250µs and 1000µs time to crest is obtained.Discharge images and stressed voltage are combined to analyze the continuous feature of a current waveform under critical time to crest impulse and discontinuous feature under long front duration impulse.For the purposes of a lightning protection study,the current waveform of a 10 m rod-plane air gap is subjected to negative switching impulse.Finally,the pulse characteristics of the current corresponding to the single channel and branching stepped negative leader are discussed.Yishi Yue Hengxin He Weijiang Chen Junjia He Chuanqi Wu Xiangen Zhao Feng Huo 2015CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2015,1,3:13
2Development and prospect of direct‐current circuit breaker in China显示文摘The direct‐current circuit breaker(DCCB)is the most ideal choice for DC fault isolation in DC grids.Despite a late start,China's research and development on the DCCB have made outstanding achievements.This article provides a brief glance of current China's DCCB development status.It begins by sorting out the technical route according to the topology of DCCB.Then it systematically summarises both mechanical and hybrid DCCBs with focussing on the aspects of topology structure and principle,key technology and characteristics,prototype development and application.It is apparent that Chinese scientists and engineers confronted the worldwide problem of large capacity DC breaking,and put forward a comprehensive solution which consists of an innovative topology structure based on coupled negative voltage circuit,breaking throughs on the key technologies such as highly controllable and reliable fault current commutation,millisecond‐level ultra‐fast and efficient electromagnetic repulsion mechanism,high tolerance and high stability power electronic switch,low residual voltage and fast response energy consumption device,etc.The article states that the world's first set of hybrid high‐voltage(HV)DCCB,and the first set of mechanical HV DCCB have been developed.These DCCBs will soon be deployed to the DC grids which have the highest voltage levels therefore require the strongest breaking capacity.These achievements are leading the world in the development and application of DCCB.The article also discusses the overall development trends of DCCB in the areas of new topologies,key techno-logical breakthroughs and application scenarios,etc.These discussions serve as references for DCCB's future technological advancement and its ever‐expanding applications.Weijiang Chen Rong Zeng Junjia He Yi Wu Xiaoguang Wei Taixun Fang Zhanqing Yu Zhao Yuan Yifei Wu Wandi Zhou Bing Yang Lu Qu 2021High Voltage2021,6,1:6

4BODIPY-derived ratiometric fluorescent sensors: pH-regulated aggregation-induced emission and imaging application in cellular acidification triggered by crystalline silica exposure显示文摘Modification of classic fluorophore to possess the emission transitions between aggregation-induced emission(AIE)and intrinsic emission offers reliable approach to the design of ratiometric fluorescent sensors.In this study,a proton acceptor benzimidazole was integrated with BODIPY to form three compounds,BBI-1/2/3,which demonstrated the AIE(~595 nm,I_(agg))in neutral aqueous medium and intrinsic BODIPYemission(~510 nm,I_(int))in acidic medium.All the three showed the ratiometric pH sensing behavior in a dual excitation/dual emission mode,yet BBI-3 displayed still the dual emission ratiometric pH sensing ability.The pH-dependent emission ratio I_(int)/I_(agg)of the three were fully reversible,and no interference was observed from normal abundant chemical species in live cells.Their different p K_a(BBI-1,p K_a4.4;BBI-2,p K_a2.7;BBI-3,p K_a3.6)suggested that the substituents on benzimidazole moiety were essential to govern their functioning pH range.The ratiometric imaging of BBI-1 in A549 cells provided an effective intracellular pH(pH_i)calibration formula corresponding to emission ratio of I_(int)/I_(agg).Ratiometric pH_iimaging in A549 cells upon small particle exposure confirmed the particle-induced cellular acidification with this formula.Both particle size and the chemical nature of the particle contribute to the observed acidification effect.The synchronization of lysosome disruption to cellular acidification in A549 cells upon crystalline silica exposure was directly observed for the first time with BBI-1,showing the potential application of BBI-1 in the study of silicosis and other related diseases.This study demonstrated that endowing fluorophore with AIE/intrinsic emission transition could be a promising strategy for ratiometric sensor design.Yang Bai Danyang Liu Zhong Han Yuncong Chen Zhongyan Chen Yang Jiao Weijiang He Zijian Guo 2018Science China Chemistry2018,61,11:4
5Nanoscale monitoring of mitochondria and lysosome interactions for drug screening and discover显示文摘Technology advances in genomics,proteomics,and metabolomics largely expanded the pool of potential therapeutic targets.Compared with the in vitro setting,cell-based screening assays have been playing a key role in the processes of drug discovery and development.Besides the commonly used strategies based on colorimetric and cell viability,we reason that methods that capture the dynamic cellular events will facilitate optimal hit identification with high sensitivity and specificity.Herein,we propose a live-cell screening strategy using structured illumination microscopy (SIM) combined with an automated cell colocalization analysis software,CellprofilerTM,to screen and discover drugs for mitochondria and lysosomes interaction at a nanoscale resolution in living cells.This strategy quantitatively benchmarks the mitochondria-lysosome interactions such as mitochondria and lysosomes contact (MLC) and mitophagy.The automatic quantitative analysis also resolves fine changes of the mitochondria-lysosome interaction in response to genetic and pharmacological interventions.Super-resolution live-cell imaging on the basis of quantitative analysis opens up new avenues for drug screening and development by targeting dynamic organelle interactions at the nanoscale resolution,which could facilitate optimal hit identification and potentially shorten the cycle of drug discovery.Qixin Chen Xintian Shao Zhiqi Tian Yang Chen Payel Mondal Fei Liu Fengshan Wang Peixue Ling Weijiang He Kai Zhang Zijian Guo Jiajie Diao 2019Nano Research2019,12,5:2

9Simulation of positive streamer propagation in an air gap with a GFRP composite barrier显示文摘The puncture of glass fibre reinforced polymer(GFRP)laminate is a primary damage pattern of wind turbine blades due to lightning strikes.A numerical simulation model of positive streamer propagation in a needle‐to‐plate air gap with a GFRP laminate is established to investigate the breakdown mechanism of GFRP laminate.The model not only considers the dynamics of charged particles in the air and the composite laminate,but also the current continuity at gas-solid interfaces.The simulated streamer discharge pattern and the surface streamer length are in good agreement with the observation results.The distributions and evolutions of the electron number density,electric field,and surface charge densities during streamer propagation are obtained.It is found that the enhancement of the electric field on the GFRP laminate is caused by the rapid deposition of positive and negative space charges on the GFRP laminate after a secondary streamer incepts on the lower surface of the GFRP laminate.The effects of the applied voltage,relative permittivity,and thickness of the GFRP laminate on the electric field on the GFRP laminate are investigated.The obtained results could assist in further under-standing of the mechanism of GFRP wind blade breakdown due to lightning strikes.Hengxin He Dezhi Xia Bin Luo Weijiang Chen Kai Bian NianWen Xiang 2021High Voltage2021,6,6:1

12Rational Design of Ratiometric Fe^(3+) Fluorescent Probes Based on FRET Mechanism显示文摘As the most abundant transition metal element in mammals, iron(Fe) plays a vital role in life activities. It is of great significance to study the variation of Fe3+ level in living organisms. In virtue of the advantages of high sensitivity, good selectivity and low damage to living systems, the fluorescence detection of Fe3+ has attracted much attention. Compared with the intensity-based fluorescent probe, the ratiometric fluorescent probe has less interference of environmental and can realize quantitative detection. In this study, four ratiometric Fe3+ fluorescent probes, R1, R2, R3 and R4, were designed and synthesized using fluorescence resonance energy transfer(FRET) mechanism to achieve quantitative detection of Fe3+. In the FRET systems, 1,8-naphthalimide fluorophore derivatives were adopted as donors while rhodamine B derivatives were selected as receptors. The connection sites of the donor and acceptor in R3 and R4 are different from those in R1 and R2. All the four probes showed good response and selectivity to Fe3+. The energy transfer efficiencies of R3 and R4 were obviously higher than those of R1 and R2. 17A dual-modal probe for NIR fluorogenic and ratiometric photoacoustic imaging of Cys/Hcy in vivo显示文摘Biothiols, such as cysteine(Cys) and homocysteine(Hcy), play vital roles in biological homeostasis and are closely related to various pathological and physiological processes in the living systems. Therefore, the in vivo detection of biothiols is of great importance for early diagnosis of diseases and assessment of disease progression. In this work, we developed a near-infrared(NIR) fluorescence and photoacoustic dual-modal molecular probe(NIR-S) that can be specifically activated by Cys or Hcy. The aryl-thioether substituted cyanine probe can undergo nucleophilic substitution and Smiles rearrangement reaction, resulting in specific turn-on NIR fluorescence and ratiometric photoacoustic responses for Hcy/Cys. Thus, NIR-S not only realizes the specific NIR fluorescence and photoacoustic dual mode imaging to detect Hcy/Cys in solution, but also can be applied to living cells and mice to detect Hcy/Cys. 18Type I Photoreaction and Photoinduced Ferroptosis by a Ru(II)Complex to Overcome Tumor Hypoxia in Photodynamic Therapy显示文摘Photodynamic therapy(PDT)usually shows limited efficacy in solid tumors since traditional PDT is O_(2)^(-)dependent while solid tumors are inherently hypoxic.In addition,hypoxic tumor cells possess antiapoptotic pathways that resist PDT-induced apoptosis.Therefore,developing photosensitizers(PSs)that show low O_(2)^(-)dependency and can induce nonapoptotic cell death pathways is critically needed.Herein,a series of Ru(II)polypyridine complex-based PSs,RuNMe,RuH,and RuCN,were synthesized,and their applications against hypoxic tumor cells through PDT were investigated.All three complexes showthe ability to generate the superoxide anion radical(·O_(2)^(-)),which is the type I photoreaction and less O_(2)^(-)dependent.RuNMe shows the best PDT performance against MCF-7 cells and three-dimensional multicellular spheroids,due to its higher cellular uptake and more reactive oxygen species generation.More importantly,RuNMe-incubated MCF-7 cells show photoinduced ferroptosis as evidenced by glutathione peroxidase 4 downregulation and lipid peroxide accumulation.This work not only develops a novel ferroptosis-inducing Ru(II)complex with the type I PDT process but also offers an effective strategy to solve tumor hypoxia in PDT.Fen Qi Hao Yuan Yuncong Chen Xin-Xin Peng Yanping Wu Weijiang He Zijian Guo 2023CCS Chemistry2023,5,7:0
19Charging models for airborne suspended particles around HVDC lines显示文摘Ground total electric field(GTEF)is a vital parameter in the field of electromagnetic environment of high voltage direct current(HVDC)lines.Some experimental works re-ported that airborne suspended particles can be charged in the corona ion flow of the lines and thus affect GTEF.This paper aims at studying the charging models for particles.Equivalent unipolar charging models(EUCMs)and bipolar charging models(BCMs)for describing field and diffusion charging mechanisms in bipolar ion environments are introduced and the Maxwell-Wagner relaxation is proposed to be incorporated.Besides,the EUCMs and BCMs are analysed and validated through comparisons with experimental data.The results show that BCMs are applicable to describing the particle charging in a bipolar ion environment,while EUCMs are not.The predictions made by BCM that takes into account the Maxwell-Wagner relaxation are in good agreement with experimental results.Moreover,the BCMs are proposed to analyse the experimental results about GTEF in the presence of particles,which are not understood before.It is demonstrated that the BCMs are able to qualitatively explain these results.Finally yet importantly,a new charging model combining field and diffusion charging mechanism is proposed for airborne suspended particles around HVDC lines and validated by experiments.The results show that the proposed hybrid field-diffusion charging model is able to give predictions consistent with experiments.Kun He Xiaoqian Ma Jiayu Lu Weijiang Chen Li Xie Yong Ju Luxing Zhao 2021High Voltage2021,6,2:0
20Photoinduced Carbene for Effective Photodynamic Therapy Against Hypoxic Cancer Cells显示文摘Photodynamic therapy(PDT)has attracted much attention because of its advantages over chemotherapy,such as broad spectrum,high selectivity,and low drug resistance.However,most photosensitizers(PSs)used in PDT are O_(2)-dependent and show limited therapeutic efficacy toward hypoxic solid tumors.Therefore,developing PSs that produce reactive oxygen species(ROS)in an O_(2)-independent manner is highly demanded.Herein,we constructed a novel O_(2)-independent PS(TPA-N)based onα-diazo-aryl acetate,which could generate reactive carbene under visible light irradiation.Photoinduced carbene could react with biosubstrates and cause significant carbene stress and ROS,effectively killing tumor cells even under hypoxic conditions.TPA-N showed much less O_(2)dependence compared with traditional PDT reagent protoporphyrin IX.A mechanistic study suggested that TPAN could induce mitochondrial membrane potential collapse and upregulate apoptosis-related proteins upon light irradiation.This work provided a reliable strategy for developing O_(2)-independent PSs against hypoxic tumor cells through photoinduced carbene.Zhanghua Sun Yuncong Chen Shankun Yao Hao Yuan Dongfan Song Zijian Guo Weijiang He 2023CCS Chemistry2023,5,9:0
