| 10 | KOH activated carbon derived from biomass-banana fibers as an efficient negative electrode in high performance asymmetric supercapacitor显示文摘Here we demonstrate the fabrication, electrochemical performance and application of an asymmetric supercapacitor(AS) device constructed with β–Ni(OH)_2/MWCNTs as positive electrode and KOH activated honeycomb-like porous carbon(K-PC) derived from banana fibers as negative electrode. Initially,the electrochemical performance of hydrothermally synthesized β–Ni(OH)_2/MWCNTs nanocomposite and K-PC was studied in a three-electrode system using 1 M KOH. These materials exhibited a specific capacitance(Cs) of 1327 F/g and 324 F/g respectively at a scan rate of 10 m V/s. Further, the AS device i.e.,β–Ni(OH)_2/MWCNTs//K-PC in 1 M KOH solution, demonstrated a Cs of 156 F/g at scan rate of 10 m V/s in a broad cell voltage of 0–2.2 V. The device demonstrated a good rate capability by maintaining a Cs of 59 F/g even at high current density(25 A/g). The device also offered high energy density of 63 Wh/kg with maximum power density of 5.2 kW/kg. The AS device exhibited excellent cycle life with 100% capacitance retention at 5000 th cycle at a high current density of 25 A/g. | 14 | Measurements of γ/γ' Lattice Misfit and γ' Volume Fraction for a Ru-containing Nickel-based Single Crystal Superalloy显示文摘A conventional X-ray diffractometer has been used to determine the γ/γ lattice misfit and γ volume fraction for a Ru-containing nickel-based single crystal superalloy at room temperature.The rocking curve was used to characterize the distribution of subgrains.The diffraction peaks obtained by ω-2θ scan were used to determine the γ/γ lattice misfit and γ volume fraction.A three peaks fitting model was proposed.The peak fitting results are in good agreement with the model.The X-ray diffraction results indicate that the nickel-based single crystal superalloy was not a perfect monocrystalline material,which is comprised of many subgrains;and each subgrain also consists of large numbers of mosaic structures.In addition,two anomalous reflection phenomena were found during the experiment and discussed with respect to their occurrence and impact on the measurement.The experimental results show that the γ/γ lattice misfit and γ volume fraction will be various at the different regions of its dendritic microstructure.The average γ/γ lattice misfit and γ volume fraction of the experimental alloy are approximately-0.2% and 70%,respectively.Furthermore,the γ volume fraction calculated by atom microprobe(AP) data is also basically consistent with the experimental results. | X.P. | 16 | The association of grip strength with cardiovascular diseases and all-cause mortality in people with hypertension:Findings from the Prospective Urban Rural Epidemiology China Study显示文摘Background:Both hypertension and grip strength(GS)are predictors of mortality and cardiovascular disease(CVD),but whether these risk factors interact to affect CVD and all-cause mortality is unknown.This study sought to investigate the associations of GS with the risk of major CVD incidence,CVD mortality,and all-cause mortality in patients with hypertension.Methods:GS was measured using a Jamar dynamometer(Sammons Preston,Bolingbrook,IL,USA)in participants aged 3570 years from 12 provinces included in the Prospective Urban Rural Epidemiology China Study.Cox frailty proportional hazards models were used to examine the associations of GS and hypertension and the outcomes of all-cause mortality and CVD incidence/mortality.Results:Among 39,862 participants included in this study,15,964 reported having hypertension,and 9095 had high GS at baseline.After a median follow-up of 8.9 years(interquartile range,6.79.9 years),1822 participants developed major CVD,and 1250 deaths occurred(388 as a result of CVD).Compared with normotensive participants with high GS,hypertensive patients with high GS had a higher risk of major CVD incidence(hazard ratio(HR)=2.39;95%confidence interval(95%CI):1.863.06;p<0.001)or CVD mortality(HR=3.11;95%CI:1.596.06;p<0.001)but did not have a significantly increased risk of all-cause mortality(HR=1.24;95%CI:0.921.68;p=0.159).These risks were further increased if hypertensive participants whose GS level was low(major CVD incidence,HR=3.31,95%CI:2.604.22,p<0.001;CVD mortality,HR=4.99,95%CI:2.649.43,p<0.001;and all-cause mortality,HR=1.93,95%CI:1.472.53,p<0.001).Conclusion:The present study demonstrates that low GS is associated with the highest risk of major CVD incidence,CVD mortality,and all-cause mortality among hypertensive patients.High levels of GS appear to mitigate long-term mortality risk among hypertensive patients. | Weida Liu Darryl P Leong Bo Hu Lap AhTse Sumathy Rangarajan Yang Wang Chuangshi Wang Fanghong Lu Yindong Li Salim Yusuf Lisheng Liu Wei Li | 2021 | Journal of Sport and Health Science2021,10,6: | 2 |
