1Activation of gibberellin 2-oxidase 6 decreases active gibberellin levels and creates a dominant semi-dwarf phenotype in rice (Oryza sativa L.)显示文摘Gibberellin (GA) 2-oxidase plays a key role in the GA catabolic pathway through 2β-hydroxylation.In the present study,we isolated a CaMV 35S-enhancer activation tagged mutant,H032.This mutant exhibited a dominant dwarf and GA-deficient phenotype,with a final stature that was less than half of its wild-type counterpart.The endogenous bioactive GAs are markedly decreased in the H032 mutant,and application of bioactive GAs (GA3 or GA4) can reverse the dwarf phenotype.The integrated T-DNA was detected 12.8 kb upstream of the OsGA2ox6 in the H032 genome by TAIL-PCR.An increased level of OsGA2ox6 mRNA was detected at a high level in the H032 mutant,which might be due to the enhancer role of the CaMV 35S promoter.RNAi and ectopic expression analysis of OsGA2ox6 indicated that the dwarf trait and the decreased levels of bioactive GAs in the H032 mutant were a result of the up-regulation of the OsGA2ox6 gene.BLASTP analysis revealed that OsGA2ox6 belongs to the class III of GA 2-oxidases,which is a novel type of GA2ox that uses C20-GAs (GA12 and/or GA53) as the substrates.Interestingly,we found that a GA biosynthesis inhibitor,paclobutrazol,positively regulated the OsGA2ox6 gene.Unlike the over-expression of OsGA2ox1,which led to a high rate of seed abortion,the H032 mutant retained normal flowering and seed production.These results indicate that OsGA2ox6 mainly affects plant stature,and the dominant dwarf trait of the H032 mutant can be used as an efficient dwarf resource in rice breeding.Jian Huang Ding Tang Yi Shen Baoxiang Qin Lilan Hong Aiqing You Ming Li Xin Wang Hengxiu Yu Minghong Gu Zhukuan Cheng 2010Journal of Genetics and Genomics2010,37,1:36
2Research on Strategy Marine Noise Map Based on i4Ocean Platform: Constructing Flow and Key Approach显示文摘Noise level in a marine environment has raised extensive concern in the scientific community.The research is carried out on i4 Ocean platform following the process of ocean noise model integrating,noise data extracting,processing,visualizing,and interpreting,ocean noise map constructing and publishing.For the convenience of numerical computation,based on the characteristics of ocean noise field,a hybrid model related to spatial locations is suggested in the propagation model.The normal mode method K/I model is used for far field and ray method CANARY model is used for near field.Visualizing marine ambient noise data is critical to understanding and predicting marine noise for relevant decision making.Marine noise map can be constructed on virtual ocean scene.The systematic marine noise visualization framework includes preprocessing,coordinate transformation interpolation,and rendering.The simulation of ocean noise depends on realistic surface.Then the dynamic water simulation gird was improved with GPU fusion to achieve seamless combination with the visualization result of ocean noise.At the same time,the profile and spherical visualization include space,and time dimensionality were also provided for the vertical field characteristics of ocean ambient noise.Finally,marine noise map can be published with grid pre-processing and multistage cache technology to better serve the public.HUANG Baoxiang CHEN Ge HAN Yong 2016Journal of Ocean University of China2016,15,1:2
3A review on photo-, electro- and photoelectro- catalytic strategies for selective oxidation of alcohols显示文摘Traditional conversion of alcohols into carbonyl compounds exists a few drawbacks such as harsh reaction conditions,production of large amounts of hazardous wastes,and poor selectivity.The newly emerging conversion approaches via photo-,electro-,and photoelectro-catalysis to oxidize alcohols into high value-added corresponding carbonyl compounds as well as the possible simultaneous production of clean fuel hydrogen(H_(2))under mild conditions are promising to substitute the traditional approach to form greener and sustainable reaction systems and thus have aroused tremendous investigations.In this review,the state-of-the-art photocatalytic,electrocatalytic,and photoelectrocatalytic strategies for selective oxidation of different types of alcohols(aromatic and aliphatic alcohols,single alcohol,and polyols,etc.)as well as the simultaneous production of H_(2) in certain systems are discussed.The design of photocatalysts,electrocatalysts,and photoelectrocatalysts as well as reaction mechanism is summarized and discussed in detail.In the end,current challenges and future research directions are proposed.It is expected that this review will not only deepen the understanding of environmentally friendly catalytic systems for alcohol conversion as well as H_(2) production,but also enlighten significance and inspirations for the follow-up study of selective oxidation of various types of organic molecules to value-added chemicals.Duoyue Tang Guilong Lu Zewen Shen Yezi Hu Ling Yao Bingfeng Li Guixia Zhao Baoxiang Peng Xiubing Huang 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,2:1

5Highly dispersed Pd clusters/nanoparticles encapsulated in MOFs via in situ auto-reduction method for aqueous phenol hydrogenation显示文摘In this work,a novel in situ auto-reduction strategy was developed to encapsulate uniformly dispersed Pd clusters/nanoparticles in MIL-125-NH_(2).It is demonstrated that the amino groups in MIL-125-NH_(2)can react with formaldehyde to form novel reducing groups(-NH-CH_(2)OH),which can in situ auto-reduce the encapsulated Pd^(2+)ions to metallic Pd clusters/nanoparticles.As no additional reductants are required,the strategy limits the aggregation and migration of Pd clusters and the formation of large Pd nanoparticles via controlling the amount of Pd^(2+)precursor.When applied as catalysts in the hydrogenation of phenol in the aqueous phase,the obtained Pd(1.5)/MIL-125-NH-CH_(2)OH catalyst with highly dispersed Pd clusters/nanoparticles with the size of around 2 nm exhibited 100%of phenol conversion and 100%of cyclohexanone selectivity at 70℃ after 5 h,as well as remarkable reusability for at least five cycles due to the large MOF surface area,the highly dispersed Pd clusters/nanoparticles and their excellent stability within the MIL-125-NH-CH_(2)OH framework.Xiubing Huang Xiaoyu Li Wei Xia Bin Hu Martin Muhler Baoxiang Peng 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,14:1

8Data science for oceanography:from small data to big data显示文摘The rapid development of ocean observation technology has resulted in the accumulation of a large amount of data and this is pushing ocean science towards being data-driven.Based on the types and distribution of oceanographic data,this paper analyzes the present and makes predictions for the future regarding the use of big and small data in ocean science.The ocean science has not fully entered the era of big data.There are two ways to expand the amount of oceanographic data to better understanding and man-agement of the ocean.On the data level,fully exploit the potential value of big and small ocean data,and transform the limited,small data into rich,big data,will help to achieve this.On the application level,oceanographic data are of great value if realize the federation of the core data owners and the consumers.The oceanographic data will provide not only a reliable scientific basis for climate,ecological,disaster and other scientific research,but also provide an unprecedented rich source of information that can be used to make predictions of the future.Chengcheng Qian Baoxiang Huang Xueqing Yang Ge Chen 2022Big Earth Data2022,6,2:0
9Identification for the Low-Contrast Image Signal with Regularized Variational Term and Dynamical Saturating Nonlinearity显示文摘In recent years,image processing based on stochastic resonance(SR)has received more and more attention.In this paper,a new model combining dynamical saturating nonlinearity with regularized variational term for enhancement of low contrast image is proposed.The regularized variational term can be setting to total variation(TV),second order total generalized variation(TGV)and non-local means(NLM)in order to gradually suppress noise in the process of solving the model.In addition,the new model is tested on a mass of gray-scale images from standard test image and low contrast indoor color images from Low-Light dataset(LOL).By comparing the new model and other traditional image enhancement models,the results demonstrate the enhanced image not only obtain good perceptual quality but also get more excellent value of evaluation index compared with some previous methods.ZHANG Ning MA Yumei PAN Zhenkuan HUANG Baoxiang WANG Dongcheng 2023Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2023,36,3:0
10Single-cell dissection,hdWGCNA and deep learning reveal the role of oxidatively stressed plasma cells in ulcerative colitis显示文摘Ulcerative colitis(UC)develops as a result of complex interactions between various cell types in the mucosal microenvironment.In this study,we aim to elucidate the pathogenesis of ulcerative colitis at the single-cell level and unveil its clinical significance.Using single-cell RNA sequencing and high-dimensional weighted gene co-expres-sion network analysis,we identify a subpopulation of plasma cells(PCs)with significantly increased infiltration in UC colonic mucosa,characterized by pronounced oxidative stress.Combining 10 machine learning approaches,we find that the PC oxidative stress genes accurately distinguish diseased mucosa from normal mucosa(independent external testing AUC=0.991,sensitivity=0.986,specificity=0.909).Using MCPcounter and non-negative matrix factorization,we identify the association between PC oxidative stress genes and immune cell infiltration as well as patient heterogeneity.Spatial transcriptome data is used to verify the infiltration of oxidatively stressed PCs in colitis.Finally,we develop a gene-immune convolutional neural network deep learning model to diagnose UC mucosa in different cohorts(independent external testing AUC=0.984,sensitivity=95.9%,specificity=100%).Our work sheds light on the key pathogenic cell subpopulations in UC and is essential for the development of future clinical disease diagnostic tools.Shaocong Mo Xin Shen Baoxiang Huang Yulin Wang Lingxi Lin Qiuming Chen Meilin Weng Takehito Sugasawa Wenchao Gu Yoshito Tsushima Takahito Nakajima 2023Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,11:0

13A Coastal Zone Segmentation Variational Model and Its Accelerated ADMM Method显示文摘Effective and efficient SAR image segmentation has a significant role in coastal zone interpretation. In this paper, a coastal zone segmentation model is proposed based on Potts model. By introducing edge self-adaption parameter and modifying noisy data term, the proposed variational model provides a good solution for the coastal zone SAR image with common characteristics of inherent speckle noise and complicated geometrical details. However, the proposed model is difficult to solve due to to its nonlinear, non-convex and non-smooth characteristics. Followed by curve evolution theory and operator splitting method, the minimization problem is reformulated as a constrained minimization problem. A fast alternating minimization iterative scheme is designed to implement coastal zone segmentation. 14Correlation between Metroptosis Pathogenesis of Buffalo and Contents of Serum Calcium,Phosphorus and Antioxidation Levels显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to study the metroptosis pathogenesis of dairy buffalo.[Method]A total of 53 dairy buffaloes were selected to detect serum calcium,phosphorus,malondialdehyde(MDA) and total antioxidant capacity(TAC) levels.Dairy buffaloes were divided into metroptosis group(M) and healthy control group(UM) according to metroptosis situations of buffalo.The correlation between metroptosis of buffalo and calcium,phosphorus and oxidation/antioxidation levels in plasma was analyzed.[Result] The contents of serum calcium and phosphorus and oxidation/antioxidation level of dairy buffalo at the prenatal week and the calving day in M group were significantly lower than that in UM group.The TAC level of dairy buffalo in M group from the first three weeks to the calving day was significantly lower than that in UM group.The MDA level in M group was significantly higher than that in UM group.[Conclusion] The occurrence of postpartum metroptosis in buffalo was related to insufficient levels of calcium and phosphorus in prepartum buffalo,declined total antioxidation capacity and accumulation of peroxide products.Zou Zhenxing Huang Yunfei Chai Qiaolian Hu Yongling Zhang Xiaojie Sun Yao Qin Guangsheng He Baoxiang 2015Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2015,7,1:0
