2Fault Systems and Their Mechanisms of the Formation and Distribution of the Tarim Basin,NW China显示文摘This article aims to analyze the main controlling factors of development,distribution and evolution of the fault systems in the Tarim Basin.Based on the seismic profile interpretation,comprehensive analysis of the drilling and geologic data,six fault systems maybe recognized in the Tarim Basin,they are the foreland fault system of the South Tianshan Mountain,the northern Tarim uplift fault system,North Tarim depression fault system,central fault system,Southwest Tarim fault system,and Southeast Tarim fault system.It is indicated that the main differences exist at the development,evolution and distribution of the fault systems in the Tarim Basin.The sub-fault systems can be recognized according to the differences of the fault development and distribution in the interior of the fault system.It is characterized that the multi-level differential development and distribution of the fault systems exist in the Tarim Basin.The fault belt developed in the Paleozoic strata mainly distribute at the paleo-uplift and paleo-slope in the interior of the Tarim Basin,and the fault belt occurred in the Meso–Cenozoic beds mainly develop at the peripheral foreland depressions.Zonal and segment differential development and distribution of the fault systems also exist in the Tarim Basin.The formation and distribution of the Tarim fault systems is of complex controlling mechanisms.Poly-phase structural movement and tectonic transition controls the multi-phase differential development and distribution of the fault systems in the Tarim Basin.Multi-level differential development and distribution is controlled by multi-level detachment belt and regional unconformities.Zonal and segment differential development and distribution of the Tarim fault systems maybe controlled by pre-existed basement structural texture.The major direction of the fault systems in the Tarim Basin is controlled by the later stage basin-mountain coupling.Liangjie Tang Taizhu Huang Haijun Qiu Guimei Wan Meng Li Yong Yang Daqing Xie Gang Chen 2014Journal of Earth Science2014,25,1:6

4Fracture of two three-dimensional parallel internal cracks in brittle solid under ultrasonic fracturing显示文摘Similar to hydraulic fracturing(HF), the coalescence and fracture of cracks are induced within a rock under the action of an ultrasonic field, known as ultrasonic fracturing(UF). Investigating UF is important in both hard rock drilling and oil and gas recovery. A three-dimensional internal laser-engraved crack(3D-ILC) method was introduced to prefabricate two parallel internal cracks within the samples without any damage to the surface. The samples were subjected to UF. The mechanism of UF was elucidated by analyzing the characteristics of fracture surfaces. The crack propagation path under different ultrasonic parameters was obtained by numerical simulation based on the Paris fatigue model and compared to the experimental results of UF. The results show that the 3D-ILC method is a powerful tool for UF research.Under the action of an ultrasonic field, the fracture surface shows the characteristics of beach marks and contains powder locally, indicating that the UF mechanism includes high-cycle fatigue fracture, shear and friction, and temperature load. The two internal cracks become close under UF. The numerical result obtained by the Paris fatigue model also shows the attraction of the two cracks, consistent with the test results. The 3D-ILC method provides a new tool for the experimental study of UF. 5Particle swarm optimization and its application to seismic inversion of igneous rocks显示文摘In order to improve the fine structure inversion ability of igneous rocks for the exploration of underlying strata, based on particle swarm optimization(PSO), we have developed a method for seismic wave impedance inversion. Through numerical simulation, we tested the effects of different algorithm parameters and different model parameterization methods on PSO wave impedance inversion, and analyzed the characteristics of PSO method. Under the conclusions drawn from numerical simulation, we propose the scheme of combining a cross-moving strategy based on a divided block model and high-frequency filtering technology for PSO inversion. By analyzing the inversion results of a wedge model of a pitchout coal seam and a coal coking model with igneous rock intrusion, we discuss the vertical and horizontal resolution, stability and reliability of PSO inversion. 8A PIECEWISE LINEAR MODEL FOR ANALYZING THIN FILM/SUBSTRATE STRUCTURE IN FLEXIBLE ELECTRONICS显示文摘The conventional analytical method of predicting strain in a thin film under bending is restricted to the uniform material assumption, while in flexible electronics, the film/substrate structure is widely used with mismatched material properties taken into account. In this paper,a piecewise model is proposed to analyze the axial strain in a thin film of flexible electronics with the shear modification factor and principle of virtual work. 9Synthesis of nitrogen-doped carbon spheres using the modified Stober method for supercapacitors显示文摘Nitrogen-doped carbon spheres (NCSs) with uniform and regular morphology were facilely prepared by the modified Stober method. Hexamethylenetetramine (HMT) was selected as the starting material, which decomposed to provide nitrogen and carbon sources for the synthesis of NCSs. The decomposition product formaldehyde polymerized to form carbon skeleton with resorcinol after carbonization, and the in-situ nitrogen doping was achieved with the decomposed nitrogen source. NCSs were obtained with regular spherical morphology, high specific surface area, and suitable nitrogen doping. 12Characteristics and development model of karst reservoirs in the fourth member of Sinian Dengying Formation in central Sichuan Basin,SW China显示文摘The reservoir space,types and distribution characteristics of karst carbonate gas reservoirs in the fourth member of Sinian Dengying Formation(Deng 4 Member)in central Sichuan Basin are analyzed based on the drilling,logging and seismic data.A development model of karst reservoirs is constructed to support the high-efficiency development of gas pools.The research shows that the reservoirs in Deng 4 Member have mainly small-scale karst vugs and fractures as storage space,and can be divided into three types,fracture-vug,pore-vug and pore types.The development patterns of the karst reservoirs are determined.On the plane,the karst layers increase from 65 m to 170 m in thickness from the karst platform to the karst slope,and the high-quality reservoirs increase from 25.0 m to 42.2 m in thickness;vertically,the reservoirs at the top of Deng 4 Member appear in multiple layers,and show along-bedding and along fracture dissolution characteristics.The reservoirs at the bottom are characterized by the dissolution parallel to the water level during the karstification period,and have 3-5 large-scale fracture-cave systems.Based on the reservoir development characteristics and the genetic mechanism,three types of reservoir development models of karst reservoir are established,i.e.,bed-dissolved body,fracture-dissolved body and paleohorizon-dissolved body.The construction of karst reservoir development models and seismic response characteristics of the three types of reservoirs can provide parameter for well placement and trajectory design,and substantially improve productivity and development indices of individual wells and gas reservoirs.The designed production capacity of the gas reservoir has enhanced from the initial 3.6 billion to 6 billion cubic meters,making the profit of the reservoir development increase noticeably.YAN Haijun HE Dongbo JIA Ailin LI Zhiping GUO Jianlin PENG Xian MENG Fankun LI Xinyu ZHU Zhanmei DENG Hui XIA Qinyu ZHENG Guoqiang YANG Shan SHI Xiaomin 2022Petroleum Exploration and Development2022,49,4:1
13Serpulids and their paleoecology of the Paleogene Kalatar Formation in southwest Tarim Basin of China显示文摘Polychaete serpulids are globally distributed tubeworms mostly in marine environments from Late Triassic to modern time.These calcareous tubeworms could be rock-forming,reef-building,or a principal fouling organism in harbor and bays.Carbonates of the Paleogene Kalatar Formation in southwest Tarim Basin yield abundant serpulid fossils,which,together with oyster fossils,constitute the characteristic fossil assemblage of the Kalatar Formation.Other common fossils include bivalves,gastropods,ostracods,echinoderms,and bryozoans.Lithologies that yielded serpulid fossils are characterized by micritic bioclastic limestone,sandy limestone,and shelly limestone,indicating a semi-restricted to open shallow marine environment with medium to low water energy.The research data about serpulids and their fossil materials from China are relatively rare.Based on the studies of fossils taxonomy,community palaeoecology,and fossil taphonomy,this paper analyzed and studied the types,occurrence,distribution,and morphological characteristics of serpulids and their palaeoecological features in the Kalatar Formation.Two serpulid community compositions were recognized in the Kalatar Formation,including a rock-forming Ditrupa community and a cluster-growth Propomatoceros community.The Ditrupa community was distributed in coastal environment of the west Kunlun piedmont,lived on sandy hard substrates with little mud,and rarely occurred in lagoon and tidal settings.The Propomatoceros community occurred in offshore middle carbonate ramp in the piedmont of the south Tianshan Mountains and in offshore shelf in the piedmont of the west Kunlun Mountains.According to the analysis on the host-rock lithologies,preservation and symbionts,it is inferred that serpulids in the Kalatar Formation grew on the oyster shell or other hard substrate,and they did not form reefs or bioherms.YANG HaiJun SHEN JianWei ZHANG LiJuan LI Meng HUANG ZhiBin WANG Yue 2012Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,7:1
14Facile preparation of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene): poly(styrenesulfonate)/Ag2Te nanorod composite films for flexible thermoelectric generator显示文摘In this work,poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS)coated silver telluride(PCeAg2Te)nanorods were prepared by a wet-chemical method using the PEDOT:PSS coated tellurium(PCeTe)nanorods as the templates.Flexible PCeAg2Te nanocomposite film on polyethersulfone(PES)substrate was prepared through vacuum filtration followed by mechanical pressing process.An optimal PCeAg2Te nanocomposite film showed a maximum power factor of 143.3 mW/mK^(2) at room temperature and 221.7 μW/mK^(2 ) at 373 K.The electrical conductivity of the PCeAg2Te composite film decreased by3.3%after bending for 1000 times around a rod with a radius of 5 mm.An eight-leg thermoelectric generator assembled with the optimal PCeAg2Te nanocomposite film generated a maximum output power and output density of 209.4 nW and 141.5 mW/cm^(2) at a temperature gradient of 30.3 K.This work provides a facile method to prepare thermoelectric materials for flexible thermoelectric generators.Qiufeng Meng Haijun Song Yong Du Yufei Ding Kefeng Cai 2021Journal of Materiomics2021,7,2:1

16Controls on reservoir quality in the paleogene Kalatar Formation of the southwestern region of the Tarim Basin,China显示文摘The Paleogene Kalatar Formation is a main target for petroleum ex125 ploration in the southwestern region of the Tarim Basin (SWRTB) and a systematical summary of controls on reservoirs of high quality has important implications for this area.According to outcrop analysis,as well as core,and laboratory experiments based on theories of sedimentology,it can be inferred that the main pore types in the Kalatar Formation are moldic,vuggy,intercrystalline and interparticle pores,fractures,and mudstone microporosity,respectively.The foreshore in the shore-shelf depositional model is the most favorable target,wherein grainstone and dolomitized grainstone are characterized by high quality in a middle ramp subfacies of the carbonate ramp model.Diagenetic factors,such as micritization,cementation,compaction,neomorphism,silicification,and pyritization,are detrimental for reservoirs.At the same time,leaching and dolomitization can improve the quality of reservoirs.Permeability of reservoirs can be greatly improved by fractures,through which quality of reservoirs can be effectively enhanced.Concentration of CO 2,temperature,and humidity are affected by changes in climate,which can have an influence on depositional setting,composition and diagenesis of sediments,and eventually the properties of reservoirs.The hot and arid climate of the Paleogene was harmful to development of reservoirs,which is demonstrated in the contemporaneous diagenetic and epigenetic stages.Shallow and deep-burial diagenesis are closely related to the formation and the connate water,however these are rarely affected by paleo-climatic variation.There is possible erosion that mainly resulted from organic acid in relative well intervals according to indications of hydrocarbons in the early diagenetic stage.Fracture systems can be established when acidic fluids are emplaced during periods of uplift,by which pores can be effectively enlarged during the late diagenetic stages.Yang Haijun Shen Jian-Wei Wang Xu Zhang Lijuan Li Meng 2011Petroleum Science2011,8,3:1
17Microstructure and Solid/Liquid Interface Evolutions of Directionally Solidified Fe-Al-Ta Eutectic Alloy显示文摘A modified Bridgman directional solidification technique was used to prepare Fe-Al-Ta eutectic in situ composites at different growth rates ranging from 6 to 80 gm/s. The directionally solidified Fe- Al-Ta eutectic composites are composed of two phases: Fe(Al,Ta) matrix phase, and Fe2Ta(Al) Laves phase. Solidification microstructure is affected by solidification rate. Microstructure of the Fe-Al-Ta eutectic alloy grown at 6.0 pm/s is broken-lamellar eutectic. Eutectic colonies are formed with the increase of the solidification rate. Microstructures are mainly composed of the lamellar or fibrous eutectic at the center of the colony and coarse lamellar eutectic zone at the boundary. Meanwhile, the inter-lamellar spacing (or the inter-rod spacing) is decreased. The spacing adjustments are also observed in Fe-Al-Ta eutectic alloy. 20Effect of polytetrafluoroethylene hollow fiber microstructure on formaldehyde carbonylation performance in membrane contactor显示文摘Membrane contactor is regarded as a promising method for reaction and process intensification. The feasibility of formaldehyde carbonylation to synthesize glycolic acid using polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)membrane contactor has been proved in our previous study. In this paper, the effect of membrane microstructure on process performance was further investigated. Three porous PTFE hollow fibers with different pore sizes and one polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)/PTFE composite membrane with dense layer were fabricated for comparison. The physical and chemical properties of four membranes, including chemical composition, morphology, contact angle, liquid entry pressure, thermodynamic analysis and gas permeability, were systemically characterized. Experiments of formaldehyde carbonylation under different reaction conditions were conducted. The results indicated that the yield of glycolic acid increased with decreasing pore size for porous membranes, which was due to the improvement of wetting behavior. The dense layer of PDMS in composite hollow fiber could effectively prevent the solvent from entering membrane pores, thus the membrane exhibited the best performance. At reaction temperature of 120℃ and operation pressure of 3.0 MPa, the yield of glycolic acid was always higher than 90% as the mass ratio of trioxane and phosphotungstic acid increased from 0.2:1 to 0.8:1. The highest turnover frequency was up to 26.37 mol·g^(-1)·h^(-1).
