| 1 | CoxP@NiCo-LDH heteronanosheet arrays as efficient bifunctional electrocatalysts for co-generation of value-added formate and hydrogen with less-energy consumption显示文摘The inefficiency of water splitting is mainly due to the sluggish anodic water oxidation reaction. Replacing water oxidation with thermodynamically more favorable selective methanol oxidation reaction and developing robust bifunctional electrocatalysts are of great significance. Herein, a hierarchical heteronanostructure with Ni–Co layered double hydroxide(LDH) ultrathin nanosheets coated on cobalt phosphide nanosheets arrays(CoxP@NiCo-LDH) are fabricated and used for co-electrolysis of methanol/water to co-produce value-added formate and hydrogen with saving energy. Benefiting from the fast charge transfer introduced by phosphide nanoarrays, the synergy in nanosheets catalysts with hetero-interface,CoxP@NiCo-LDH/Ni foam(NF) exhibits superior electrocatalytic performance(10 mA cm-2@ 1.24 V and-0.10 V for methanol selective oxidation and hydrogen evolution reaction, respectively). Furthermore,CoxP@NiCo-LDH/NF-based symmetric two-electrode electrolyzer drives a current density of 10 m A cm-2 with a low cell voltage of only 1.43 V and the Faradaic efficiency towards the generation of formate and H2 are close to 100% in the tested range of current density(from 40 to 200 m A cm-2). | 3 | Changes of Extreme Precipitation and its Associated Mechanisms in Northwest China显示文摘Characterized by scarce water resources and fragile ecosystems,Northwest China(NWC)has experienced a climate shift from warm-dry to warm-wet conditions since the 1980s that has garnered extensive concern in recent years.In this study,the variability in extreme precipitation(EP)during 1961-2016 in different climate zones of NWC and the possible mechanisms for this variation are investigated.The results show that the EP trends significantly increased in most of the westerly zone(WZ)and plateau zone(PZ),while the EP trends did not significantly decrease in the monsoon zone(MZ).The start dates of extreme precipitation(SDEP)and end dates of extreme precipitation(EDEP)advanced and were postponed,respectively,in the WZ and PZ,while the opposite occurred in the MZ.Summer atmospheric circulation,water vapor transport,and atmospheric instability over NWC varied greatly with the interdecadal shift in EP before and after 1986.During 1986-2016,upper-level divergence and lower-level convergence occurred in the MZ and PZ,which strengthened ascending flow.In addition,the summer water vapor and atmospheric instability increased in the WZ and PZ.These characteristics created favorable conditions for increased occurrences of EP in the WZ and PZ in summer.Conversely,the upper-level convergence and lower-level divergence in the MZ strengthened descending flow.Decreases in summer water vapor and atmospheric instability occurred in the MZ after 1986.Hence,the environmental conditions in the MZ may have prevented the occurrence and development of EP in summer during 1986-2016. | Shan LU Zeyong HU Haipeng YU Weiwei FAN Chunwei FU Di WU | 2021 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2021,38,10: | 4 |

| 10 | Disordered Rocksalts with Lattice Oxygen Activation as Efficient Oxygen Evolution Electrocatalysts显示文摘The lattice oxygen oxidation mechanism(LOM)provides an efficient pathway for accelerating the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)in certain electrocatalysts by activating and involving lattice oxygen in the catalytic OER process.We investigated the potential of disordered rocksalts as catalysts for accelerating the OER through the LOM process,leveraging their unique metastable Li-O-Li bond states.Theoretical calculations were employed to predict the catalytic pathways and activities of disordered rocksalts(DRX),such as Li_(1.2)Co_(0.4)Ti_(0.5)O_(2)(LCTO).The results revealed that benefiting from the unhybridized Li-O electronic orbitals and the resulting metastable states of Li-O-Li bonds in DRX,LCTO exhibited a typical LOM pathway,and the lattice oxygen was easily activated and participated in the OER.The experimental results showed that LCTO exhibited a remarkable pH-dependent OER activity through the LOM pathway,with an overpotential of 241 mV at a current density of 10 mA/cm^(2),and excellent long-term stability.This work provides a novel chemical space for designing highly active and stable OER electrocatalysts by leveraging the LOM reaction pathway. | Zhengli Huan Haipeng Fu Xuerong Zheng Huiming Ji | 2023 | Transactions of Tianjin University2023,29,4: | 0 |
