1An experimental study of salt expansion in sodium saline soils under transient conditions显示文摘Salt expansion in sulfate saline soils that are widely distributed in northwestern China causes serious infrastructural damages under low-temperature conditions. However, the mechanism of salt expansion under low temperatures is not clear. In this study, we conducted a series of cooling experiments combined with salt crystallization to study this mechanism, and employed an ionic model to calculate the supersaturation ratio of the solution. During the experiments, the strength and the process of salt expansion were examined under different cooling rates and various crystal morphologies. The relationship between temperature and supersaturation ratio under transient conditions was also considered. Results indicate that the initial supersaturation ratio of a sodium sulfate solution is closely related to environmental conditions, and that this ratio decreases with slowing the cooling rates and stabilizing the crystal forms. Higher initial supersaturation ratios lead to an increased non-steady-state zone, resulting in less salt expansion. On the other hand, chloride ion content has a distinct influence on the crystallization supersaturation ratio of the sodium sulfate solution, and higher chloride ion content can inhibit salt expansion in sodium saline soils. 4Approach to WTA in air combat using IAFSA-IHS algorithm显示文摘In this paper, a static weapon target assignment(WTA)problem is studied. As a critical problem in cooperative air combat,outcome of WTA directly influences the battle. Along with the cost of weapons rising rapidly, it is indispensable to design a target assignment model that can ensure minimizing targets survivability and weapons consumption simultaneously. Afterwards an algorithm named as improved artificial fish swarm algorithm-improved harmony search algorithm(IAFSA-IHS) is proposed to solve the problem. 10Flexible free-standing polyaniline/poly(vinyl alcohol) composite electrode with good capacitance performance and shape memory behavior显示文摘The increasing demand for portable and flexible energy storage devices drives the development of flexible electrodes and electrolytes.The aim of this work is to fabricate the flexible free-standing polyaniline/poly(vinyl alcohol)(PANI/PVA)composite electrode with good capacitance performance and shape memory behavior.The electrodes were fabricated by chemical oxidation polymerization of aniline in porous PVA(P-PVA)films.The morphology,electrochemical and mechanical properties of PANI/P-PVA electrodes were studied by scanning electron microscope,cyclic voltammetry,galvanostatic charge-discharge,and tensile test etc.The results revealed that the flexible PANI/P-PVA-1 electrode had good specific capacitance of 173.86 m F cm(-2)at 1 m A cm(-2),with the capacitance retention of 70.16%after 4000 charge-discharge cycles.Besides,it had excellent heat-induced shape memory effect.The fixed shape could completely recover to its original shape within 10 s at 80℃,which is above the glass transition temperature(75.89℃)of PANI/P-PVA-1.The comparatively tensile strength(2.86 MPa)and high elongation at break(315.72%)indicated its outstanding flexibility.Up to 200 times folding had no effect on the electrochemical properties.The free-standing polymer electrodes with excellent comprehensive performance provide potential applications in flexible energy-storage devices,electronic encapsulation and high stretchable electric devices etc.Haiyan Du Shaoze Liu Feng You Jinfeng Wang Zhe Ren Zemin Wu 2021Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2021,31,4:1

15Efficacy of acupuncture therapy for post-stroke fatigue:a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To assess the effectiveness and safety of acupuncture for post-stroke fatigue(PSF).METHODS:Eight online databases were searched to collect relevant trials of acupuncture for PSF published before April 2021.Meta-analysis was performed by using RevMan 5.4 software.The Grading of Recommendations,Assessment,Development and Evaluation system was used to assess the certainty of evidence.RESULTS:Four randomized controlled trials involving 289 PSF patients were identified and included in the systematic review.The results of the Meta-analysis revealed that acupuncture group was significantly better than routine treatment group in improving the effective rate[risk ratio(RR)=1.15,95%CI(1.01,1.33),P=0.04],reducing the FSS score[mean difference(MD)=-4.71,95%CI(-6.22,-3.20),P<0.00001]and FMA score[MD=15.60,95%CI(11.96,19.23),P<0.00001].Side effects of acupuncture were mild and rarely reported.The certainty of evidence of the outcomes based on the four trials was assessed as low.CONCLUSIONS:The existing evidence suggests acupuncture as an adjunct to routine treatment may benefit in managing fatigue in stroke patients.However,high-quality RCTs are needed to further confirm these findings.YOU Jianyu LI Haiyan XIE Dingyi CHEN Mingren CHEN Rixin 2023Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,1:1

19USP1-regulated reciprocal differentiation of Th17 cells and Treg cells by deubiquitinating and stabilizing TAZ显示文摘The balance between inflammatory T helper type 17(Th17)and immunosuppressive regulatory T(Treg)cells is critical for maintaining immune homeostasis in the human body and is tightly regulated under healthy conditions.An increasing number of studies have reported that deubiquitinases(DUBs)play a vital role in regulating Th17-and Treg-cell differentiation.However,the biological functions of only a small fraction of DUBs in Th17-and Treg-cell differentiation are well defined.In this study,we identified ubiquitin-specific peptidase 1(USP1)as a vital regulator of CD4+T-cell differentiation.USP1 promoted Th17-cell differentiation but attenuated Treg-cell differentiation,thereby promoting the development of inflammatory diseases.Mechanistically,USP1 in CD4+T cells enhanced the activity of RORγt but promoted the proteasomal degradation of Foxp3 through deubiquitination and stabilization of TAZ in vitro and in vivo.Notably,ML323,a specific inhibitor of the USP1/UAF1 deubiquitinase complex,inhibited Th17-cell differentiation and promoted Treg-cell differentiation in vitro and in vivo,indicating that ML323 might be a promising candidate for the treatment of diseases associated with an imbalance between Th17 and Treg cells.Our study highlights the critical role of USP1 in regulating adaptive immune responses and suggests that USP1 might be a drug target for the treatment of diseases associated with an imbalance between Th17 and Treg cells.Xiaotong Zhu Peng Wang Xiaoxia Zhan Yuping Zhang Junli Sheng Shitong He Yitian Chen Dingnai Nie Xiaolong You Haiyan Mai Qinghong Yu Laisheng Li Ligang Jie Shengfeng Hu 2023Cellular & Molecular Immunology2023,20,3:0
20Tough adhesion and antifouling poly(vinyl alcohol)hydrogel coating on the arch wire for antibacterial adhesion显示文摘The arch wire(AW)plays an important role in providing continuous force,aligning the teeth,and excellent dental arch stability for orthodontic treatment.However,the high friction performance of the AW surface can increase bacterial adhesion and colonization,leading to oral hygiene problems.Herein,a simple method is developed to modify the surface of the orthodontic wire with a poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA)hydrogel coating,which can improve the lubricity and antibacterial adhesion of the AW and prevent the oral hygiene problems caused by itself.The PVA hydrogel coating can toughly adhere to the surface of the AW and remarkably reduce the friction performance of the AW,and then its friction coefficient in water can reach 0.005.Under the action of brushing and bending,the PVA hydrogel coating possesses superior ultralubrication and hardly affects the mechanical properties of the stainless-steel substrate.Moreover,the PVA hydrogel coating can significantly inhibit bacterial adhesion on the surface of the AW,thereby reducing bacterial colonization and maintaining oral hygiene while correcting the shape of the mouth and jaw.Therefore,the PVA hydrogel coating exhibits tough adhesion and good antibacterial adhesion while maintaining the mechanical properties of the AW,and it is a promising antifouling coating for improving the performance of the AW.LI MingWen TANG Chen YU XiXi SHI XinLei YU Hui YIN HaiYan YOU Min CHEN Qiang DING Xi 2023Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,10:0
