| 1 | Emergence and prevalence of naturally occurring lower virulent African swine fever viruses in domestic pigs in China in 2020显示文摘African swine fever virus(ASFV)has been circulating in China for more than two years,and it is not clear whether the biological properties of the virus have changed.Here,we report on our surveillance of ASFVs in seven provinces of China,from June to December,2020.A total of 22 viruses were isolated and characterized as genotype II ASFVs,with mutations,deletions,insertions,or short-fragment replacement occurring in all isolates compared with Pig/HLJ/2018(HLJ/18),the earliest isolate in China.Eleven isolates had four different types of natural mutations or deletion in the EP402R gene and displayed a nonhemadsorbing(non-HAD)phenotype.Four isolates were tested for virulence in pigs;two were found to be as highly lethal as HLJ/18.However,two non-HAD isolates showed lower virulence but were highly transmissible;infection with 106 TCID50 dose was partially lethal and caused acute or sub-acute disease,whereas 103 TCID50 dose caused non-lethal,sub-acute or chronic disease,and persistent infection.The emergence of lower virulent natural mutants brings greater difficulty to the early diagnosis of ASF and creates new challenges for ASFV control. | Encheng Sun Zhenjiang Zhang Zilong Wang Xijun He Xianfeng Zhang Lulu Wang Wenqing Wang Lianyu Huang Fei Xi Haoyue Huangfu Ghebremedhin Tsegay Hong Huo Jianhong Sun Zhijun Tian Wei Xia Xuewu Yu Fang Li Renqiang Liu Yuntao Guan Dongming Zhao Zhigao Bu | 2021 | Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,5: | 46 |

| 3 | Treatment of multiple sclerosis by transplantation of neural stem cells derived from induced pluripotent stem cells显示文摘Multiple sclerosis(MS) is an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system(CNS), with focal T lymphocytic infiltration and damage of myelin and axons. The underlying mechanism of pathogenesis remains unclear and there are currently no effective treatments. The development of neural stem cell(NSC) transplantation provides a promising strategy to treat neurodegenerative disease. However, the limited availability of NSCs prevents their application in neural disease therapy. In this study, we generated NSCs from induced pluripotent stem cells(iPSCs) and transplanted these cells into mice with experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis(EAE), a model of MS. The results showed that transplantation of iPSC-derived NSCs dramatically reduced T cell infiltration and ameliorated white matter damage in the treated EAE mice. Correspondingly, the disease symptom score was greatly decreased, and motor ability was dramatically rescued in the iPSC-NSC-treated EAE mice, indicating the effectiveness of using iPSC-NSCs to treat MS. | 4 | Partial Discharge Measurement and Analysis in High Voltage IGBT Modules Under DC Voltage显示文摘Insulation performance of high voltage IGBT modules is one of the key attributes in power system applications.However,the existing standards of IGBT devices and research on the evaluation of insulation performance of high voltage IGBT modules are insufficient;for example,partial discharge resistance under DC voltage blocking condition is not considered.In this paper,a new test was proposed to allow the measurement of partial discharges in all the components of IGBT modules under DC voltage.The topology of the measuring circuit is arranged in the polarity discrimination way to exclude the interference,and the voltage and discharge current waveforms during the partial discharge process are measured by the wideband time domain measurement technique.According to the proposed test,the discharge phenomenon of the IGBT modules below the rating voltage were detected.A comprehensive waveform analysis on the voltage and discharge current was performed,and the influence of the applied voltage on the waveform parameters was obtained.The waveform parameters are influenced by the applied voltage and insulation structure,which enables the discrimination of the causes of the observed partial discharge in the IGBT module under DC voltage by the waveform analysis technique.Based on the waveform analysis technique,the types and causes of the observed partial discharges were discussed and inferred,and the correctness of the inference was further verified by observation.The proposed test and waveform analysis technique provide the possibility to evaluate and distinguish partial discharges in the high voltage IGBT module under DC voltage,which may be helpful to insulation performance evaluation and insulation defect diagnosis in high voltage IGBT module. | Pengyu Fu Zhibin Zhao Xiang Cui Teng Wen Haoyu Wang Xuebao Li Peng Zhang | 2018 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2018,4,4: | 9 |
| 5 | Image Smearing Modeling and Verification for Strapdown Star Sensor显示文摘To further extend study on celestial attitude determination with strapdown star sensor from static into dynamic field, one prerequisite is to generate precise dynamic simulating star maps. First a neat analytical solution of the smearing trajectory caused by spacecraft attitude maneuver is deduced successfully, whose parameters cover the geometric size of optics, three-axis angular velocities and CCD integral time. Then for the first time the mathematical law and method are discovered about how to synthesize the two formulae of smearing trajectory and the static Gaussian distribution function (GDF) model, the key of which is a line integral with regard to the static GDF attenuated by a factor 1/ L s (L s is the arc length of the smearing trajectory) along the smearing trajectory. The dynamic smearing model is then obtained, also in an analytical form. After that, three sets of typical simulating maps and data are simulated from this dynamic model manifesting the expected smearing effects, also compatible with the linear model as its special case of no boresight rotation. Finally, model validity tests on a rate turntable are carried out, which results in a mean correlation coefficient 0.920 0 between the camera images and the corresponding model simulated ones with the same parameters. The sufficient similarity verifies the validity of the dynamic smearing model. | 6 | Channel Measurement and Path Loss Modeling from 220 GHz to 330 GHz for 6G Wireless Communications显示文摘Terahertz(THz)communication has been envisioned as a key enabling technology for sixthgeneration(6G).In this paper,we present an extensive THz channel measurement campaign for 6G wireless communications from 220 GHz to 330 GHz.Furthermore,the path loss is analyzed and modeled by using two single-frequency path loss models and a multiplefrequencies path loss model.It is found that at most frequency points,the measured path loss is larger than that in the free space.But at around 310 GHz,the propagation attenuation is relatively weaker compared to that in the free space.Also,the frequency dependence of path loss is observed and the frequency exponent of the multiple-frequencies path loss model is 2.1.Moreover,the cellular performance of THz communication systems is investigated by using the obtained path loss model.Simulation results indicate that the current inter-site distance(ISD)for the indoor scenario is too small for THz communications.Furthermore,the tremendous capacity gain can be obtained by using THz bands compared to using microwave bands and millimeter wave bands.Generally,this work can give an insight into the design and optimization of THz communication systems for 6G. | Pan Tang Jianhua Zhang Haoyu Tian Zhaowei Chang Jun Men Yuxiang Zhang Lei Tian Liang Xia Qixing Wang Jingsuo He | 2021 | China Communications2021,18,5: | 7 |
| 7 | An isoflavone derivative potently inhibits the angiogenesis and progression of triple-negative breast cancer by targeting the MTA2/SerRS/VEGFA pathway显示文摘Objective:Angiogenesis plays a vital role in tumor growth and metastasis.Here,we aimed to find novel efficient antiangiogenic molecules targeting vascular endothelial growth factor A(VEGFA)at the transcriptional level to treat triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC).Methods:We used a cell-based seryl tRNA synthetase(SerRS)promoter-driven dual-luciferase reporter system to screen an in-house library of 384 naturally occurring small molecules and their derivatives to find candidate molecules that could upregulate the expression of SerRS,a potent transcriptional repressor of VEGFA.The levels of SerRS and VEGFA were examined by quantitative RT-PCR(qRT-PCR),western blotting,and/or ELISAs in TNBC cells after candidate molecule administration.Zebrafish,the Matrigel plug angiogenesis assay in mice,the TNBC allograft,and xenograft mouse models were used to evaluate thein vivoanti-angiogenic and anti-cancer activities.Furthermore,the potential direct targets of the candidates were identified by proteomics and biochemical studies.Results:We found the most active compound was 3-(4-methoxyphenyl)quinolin-4(1H)-one(MEQ),an isoflavone derivative.In TNBC cells,MEQ treatment resulted in increased SerRS mRNA(P<0.001)and protein levels and downregulated VEGFA production.Both the vascular development of zebrafish and Matrigel plug angiogenesis in mice were inhibited by MEQ.MEQ also suppressed the angiogenesis in TNBC allografts and xenografts in mice,resulting in inhibited tumor growth and prolonged overall survival(P<0.05).Finally,we found that MEQ regulated SerRS transcription by interacting with MTA2(Metastasis Associated 1 Family Member 2).Conclusions:Our findings suggested that the MTA2/SerRS/VEGFA axis is a drug-treatable anti-angiogenic target,and MEQ is a promising anti-tumor molecule that merits further investigation for clinical applications. | Xiaotong Zhang Gengyi Zou Xiyang Li Lun Wang Tianyu Xie Jin Zhao Longlong Wang Shunchang Jiao Rong Xiang Haoyu Ye Yi Shi | 2020 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,3: | 6 |

| 9 | A Comparative Analysis of the Chloroplast Genomes of Four Salvia Medicinal Plants显示文摘Herbgenomics is an emerging field of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)research and development.By combining TCM research with genomics,herbgenomics can help to establish the scientific validity of TCM and bring it into wider usage within the field of medicine.Salvia Linn.(S.Linn.)is a large genus of Labiatae that includes important medicinal plants.In this herbgenomics study,the complete chloroplast(cp)genomes of two Salvia spp.—namely,S.przewalskii and S.bulleyana,which are used as a surrogate for S.miltiorrhiza—were sequenced and compared with those of two other reported Salvia spp.—namely,S.miltiorrhiza and S.japonica.The genome organization,gene number,type,and repeat sequences were compared.The annotation results showed that both Salvia plants contain 114 unique genes,including 80 protein-coding,30 transfer RNA(tRNA),and four ribosomal RNA(rRNA)genes.Repeat sequence analysis revealed 21 forward and 22 palindromic sequences in both Salvia cp genomes,and 17 and 21 tandem repeats in S.przewalskii and S.bulleyana,respectively.A synteny comparison of the Salvia spp.cp genomes showed a high degree of sequence similarity in the coding regions and a relatively high divergence of the intergenic spacers.Pairwise alignment and single-nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)analyses found some candidate fragments to identify Salvia spp.,such as the intergenic region of the trnV–ndhC,trnQ–rps16,atpI–atpH,psbA–ycf3,ycf1,rpoC2,ndhF,matK,rpoB,rpoA,and accD genes.All of the results—including the repeat sequences and SNP sites,the inverted repeat(IR)region border,and the phylogenetic analysis—showed that S.przewalskii and S.bulleyana are extremely similar from a genetic standpoint.The cp genome sequences of the two Salvia spp.reported here will pave the way for breeding,species identification,phylogenetic evolution,and cp genetic engineering studies of Salvia medicinal plants. | Conglian Liang Lei Wang Juan Lei Baozhong Duan Weisi Ma Shuiming Xiao Haijun Qi Zhen Wang Yaoqi Liu Xiaofeng Shen Shuai Guo Haoyu Hu Jiang Xu Shilin Chen | 2019 | Engineering2019,5,5: | 5 |

| 12 | Trace Elements in Sphalerite from the Dadongla Zn-Pb Deposit, Western Hunan-Eastern Guizhou Zn-Pb Metallogenic Belt, South China显示文摘The western Hunan-eastern Guizhou Zn-Pb metallogenic belt is one of the important Zn-Pb mineralization regions in China.The Dadongla deposit,located in the northeast of Guizhou Province,is one of the typical Zn-Pb deposits in the region and has estimated resources more than 12 million metric tons(Mt)with an average grade of 4.11 wt%Zn+Pb.Its orebodies are hosted in the lower Cambrian Aoxi Formation dolomite,occurring as bedded,para-bedded in shape,and in conformity with the wall rock.The ore mineral assemblage is simple,dominated by sphalerite with minor pyrite and galena,and the gangue minerals are composed of dolomite,calcite with minor bitumen and barite.In view of the lack of geological and geochemical researches,the genesis of Zn-Pb ore is still unclear.Laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(LA-ICPMS)spot and mapping analyses were used to obtain sphalerite trace element chemistry in the Dadongla Zn-Pb deposit in Guizhou,China,aiming to constrain its ore genesis.The results show that sphalerite is characterized by the enrichment of Cd,Fe,Ge and Hg,corresponding with that of typical MVT deposits.Four zones were identified in the sphalerite crystal from Dadongla from the center to margin according to the color bands.in which the zone in the center,representing the early ore-stage sphalerite,is characterized by enrichment of Cd relatively,while the zone forming at late ore-stage is enriched in Ge and Hg relatively.The finding was controlled by differential leached metals content in ore-forming fluid from its source rock.Notably,critical element Ge trends to be enriched at the late ore-stage and follows a substitution of 2 Zn^2+(?)Ge^4++□(vacancy).Moreover,the calculated ore-forming temperature ranges from 79.9℃to 177.6℃by the empirical formula,which is similar to that of typical Mississippi Valley-type(MVT)deposits.Compared with the features of trace elements in sphalerite from different types of deposits,together with the geology,the Dadongla deposit belongs to an MVT Zn-Pb deposit. | HU Yusi YE Lin WEI Chen LI Zhenli HUANG Zhilong WANG Haoyu | 2020 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2020,94,6: | 3 |

In light of requirements on horizontal well fracturing technology in China, we have summarized the technological progress in simulation of multi-fracture propagation, horizontal well frac-design, electric-drive fracturing equipment, soluble tools and low-cost downhole materials and factory-like operation. However, the functional relationship between attentional deficit and these two disorders remains poorly understood. Here, we behaviorally disentangled the three key attentional components(alerting, orienting, and executive control) using the established attentional network task(ANT) to investigate how social anxiety and depression are related to deficits in these attention components. We identified a double dissociation between the symptoms of social anxiety and depression and the attentional component deficits when processing non-emotional stimuli. While individuals vulnerable to social anxiety exhibited deficits in the orienting component, individuals vulnerable to depression were impaired in the executive control component. | 19 | Highly Reliable Multiport PUF Circuit Based on MOSFET Zero Temperature Coefficient Point显示文摘By using processing variations in the unitcircuits of the same structures and design parameters during manufacturing, Physical unclonable function(PUF)generates security keys with characteristic of uniqueness,randomness and unclonability. In this paper, a highly reliable multiport PUF scheme was proposed based on MOSFET Zero temperature coefficient(ZTC) point. It consists of input register, deviation-current generating module, arbiter array and obfuscation circuit. After reconfiguring deviation-current generating module by applying different input challenges, the PUF circuit updates keys without physical replacement. And multi-bit keys can be generated in one clock cycle. In TSMC-LP 65 nm CMOS technology, the layout of 64-port reconfigurable PUF occupies 131μm×242μm with custom designing. Experimental results show that the PUF circuit has good statistical characteristic of uniqueness and randomness. The length of the acoustic channel can be tuned by the screw-in depth of the helix. Accordingly, the wave phase for the transmitted acoustic wave can be tuned and the wavefront can be manipulated. Then multifunctions such as anomalous refraction, point focusing, beam focusing and self-bending can be realized and switched just by screwing in or out the helixes. At the same time, the broadband operating frequency is also realized. The experiments for anomalous refraction and point focusing are also performed, and the results show that the designed metasurface is effective.
