| 1 | Debris Flow Hazard Assessment Based on Support Vector Machine显示文摘Seven factors, including the maximum volume of once flow , occurrence frequency of debris flow , watershed area , main channel length , watershed relative height difference , valley incision density and the length ratio of sediment supplement are chosen as evaluation factors of debris flow hazard degree. Using support vector machine (SVM) theory, we selected 259 basic data of 37 debris flow channels in Yunnan Province as learning samples in this study. | 4 | Microstructural and mechanical response of ZK60 magnesium alloy subjected to radial forging显示文摘Radial forging(RF)is an economical manufacturing forging process,in which four dies arranged radially around the workpiece simultaneously act on the workpiece with high-frequency radial movement.In this study,a ZK60 magnesium alloy step-shaft bar was processed under different accumulated strains by RF at350℃.The deformation behavior,microstructure evolution,and mechanical responses of this bar were systematically investigated via numerical simulations and experiments.At the early deformation stage of forging,the material undergoes pronounced grain refinement but an inhomogeneous grain structure is formed due to the strain gradient along the radial direction.The grains in different radial parts were gradually refined by increasing the RF pass,resulting in a bimodal grained structure comprising coarse(~14.1μm)and fine(~2.3μm)grains.With the RF pass increased,the initial micro-sizeβ-phases were gradually crushed and dissolved into the matrix mostly,eventually evolving to form a higher area fraction of nano-sized Zn2 Zr spheroidal particles uniformly distributed through the grain interior.The texture changed as the RF strain increased,with the c-axes of most of the deformed grains rotating in the RD.Additionally,excellent mechanical properties including higher values of tensile strengths and ductility were attained after the three RFed passes,compared to the as-received sample. | Jingfeng Zou Lifeng Ma Weitao Jia Qichi Le Gaowu Qin Yuan Yuan | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,24: | 4 |

| 6 | Theoretical and simulation research of hydrodynamic instabilities in inertial-confinement fusion implosions显示文摘Inertial fusion energy(IFE)has been considered a promising,nearly inexhaustible source of sustainable carbon-free power for the world's energy future.It has long been recognized that the control of hydrodynamic instabilities is of critical importance for ignition and high-gain in the inertial-confinement fusion(ICF)hot-spot ignition scheme.In this mini-review,we summarize the progress of theoretical and simulation research of hydrodynamic instabilities in the ICF central hot-spot implosion in our group over the past decade.In order to obtain sufficient understanding of the growth of hydrodynamic instabilities in ICF,we first decompose the problem into different stages according to the implosion physics processes.The decomposed essential physics processes that are associated with ICF implosions,such as Rayleigh-Taylor instability(RTI),Richtmyer-Meshkov instability(RMI),Kelvin-Helmholtz instability(KHI),convergent geometry effects,as well as perturbation feed-through are reviewed.Analytical models in planar,cylindrical,and spherical geometries have been established to study different physical aspects,including density-gradient,interface-coupling,geometry,and convergent effects.The influence of ablation in the presence of preheating on the RTI has been extensively studied by numerical simulations.The KHI considering the ablation effect has been discussed in detail for the first time.A series of single-mode ablative RTI experiments has been performed on the Shenguang-Ⅱlaser facility.The theoretical and simulation research provides us the physical insights of linear and weakly nonlinear growths,and nonlinear evolutions of the hydrodynamic instabilities in ICF implosions,which has directly supported the research of ICF ignition target design.The ICF hot-spot ignition implosion design that uses several controlling features,based on our current understanding of hydrodynamic instabilities,to address shell implosion stability,has been briefly described,several of which are novel. | LiFeng Wang WenHua Ye XianTu He JunFeng Wu ZhengFeng Fan Chuang Xue HongYu Guo WenYong Miao YongTeng Yuan JiaQin Dong Guo Jia Jing Zhang YingJun Li Jie Liu Min Wang YongKun Ding WeiYan Zhang | 2017 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2017,60,5: | 4 |
| 7 | Effect of environmental factors on the complexation of iron and humic acid显示文摘A method of size exclusion chromatography coupled with ultraviolet spectrophotometry and off-line graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry was developed to assess the complexation properties of iron(Fe) and humic acid(HA) in a water environment. The factors affecting the complexation of Fe and HA, such as ionic strength, p H, temperature and UV radiation, were investigated. The Fe–HA complex residence time was also studied. Experimental results showed that p H could influence the deprotonation of HA and hydrolysis of Fe, and thus affected the complexation of Fe and HA. The complexation was greatly disrupted by the presence of Na Cl. Temperature had some influence on the complexation. The yield of Fe–HA complexes showed a small decrease at high levels of UV radiation, but the effect of UV radiation on Fe–HA complex formation at natural levels could be neglected. It took about 10 hr for the complexation to reach equilibrium, and the Fe–HA complex residence time was about 20 hr.Complexation of Fe and HA reached a maximum level under the conditions of p H 6, very low ionic strength, in the dark and at a water temperature of about 25°C, for 10 hr. It was suggested that the Fe–HA complex could form mainly in freshwater bodies and reach high levels in the warm season with mild sunlight radiation. | 8 | High-gravity-assisted green synthesis of rare-earth doped calcium molybdate colloidal nanophosphors显示文摘In this work,we report an innovative route for the synthesis of rare-earth doped calcium molybdate(CaMoO4)nanophosphors by using high gravity rotating packed bed(RPB)technology and paraffin liquid as the solvent.The significant intensified mass transfer and micromixing of reactants in the RPB reactor are benefiting for homogeneous doping of rare-earth ions in the host materials,leading to nanophosphors with high quantum efficiency.The use of liquid paraffin as the solvent eliminates the safety risks associated with volatile organic compounds,increasing the potential for clean production of nanophosphors.Under excitation of deep ultraviolet(DUV)light,the CaMoO4:Na+,Eu3+nanophosphors exhibit red emission at peak wavelength of 615 nm and quantum yield of up to 35.01%.The CaMoO4:Na+,Tb3+nanophosphors exhibit green emission at peak wavelength of543 nm with quantum yield of up to 30.66%.The morphologies of the nanophosphors are tunable from nanofibers through nanorods to nanodots and the possible mechanism of controlling the formation of different nanostructures is proposed on the basis of experimental results and theoretical analysis of mesoscience.These nanophosphors are highly dispersible in organic solvents and utilized for fabricating fabrication of flexible,freestanding luminescent films based on silicone resin.We also demonstrate the red LEDs consisting of the hybrid films of CaMoO4:Na+,Eu3+nanoparticles as color-converting phosphors and DUV LEDs as illuminators,offering strong potential for future nanophosphors-basedsolid-state lighting systems. | Yuan Pu Lifeng Lin Jun Liu Jiexin Wang Dan Wang | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,6: | 3 |
| 9 | Hypoxia-induced GBE1 expression promotes tumor progression through metabolic reprogramming in lung adenocarcinoma显示文摘Hypoxia mediates a metabolic switch from oxidative phosphorylation to glycolysis and increases glycogen synthesis.We previously found that glycogen branching enzyme(GBE1)is downstream of the hypoxia-inducible factor-1(HIF1)signaling pathway in lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD)cells;however,the molecular mechanism underlying HIF1 regulation of GBE1 expression remains unknown.Herein,the effect of GBE1 on tumor progression via changes in metabolic signaling under hypoxia in vitro and in vivo was evaluated,and GBE1-related genes from human specimens and data sets were analyzed.Hypoxia induced GBE1 upregulation in LUAD cells.GBE1-knockdown A549 cells showed impaired cell proliferation,clone formation,cell migration and invasion,angiogenesis,tumor growth,and metastasis.GBE1 mediated the metabolic reprogramming of LUAD cells.The expression of gluconeogenesis pathway molecules,especially fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase(FBP1),was markedly higher in shGBE1 A549 cells than it was in the control cells.FBP1 inhibited the tumor progression of LUAD.GBE1-mediated FBP1 suppression via promoter methylation enhanced HIF1αlevels through NF-κB signaling.GBE1 may be a negative prognostic biomarker for LUAD patients.Altogether,hypoxia-induced HIF1αmediated GBE1 upregulation,suppressing FBP1 expression by promoter methylation via NF-κB signaling in LUAD cells.FBP1 blockade upregulated HIF1α,triggered the switch to anaerobic glycolysis,and enhanced glucose uptake.Therefore,targeting HIF1α/GBE1/NF-κB/FBP1 signaling may be a potential therapeutic strategy for LUAD. | Lifeng Li Li Yang Zhirui Fan Wenhua Xue Zhibo Shen Yongliang Yuan Xiangdong Sun Dan Wang Jingyao Lian Liping Wang Jie Zhao Yi Zhang | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 3 |
| 10 | Enhancing phosphorus uptake efficiency through QTL-based selection for root system architecture in maize显示文摘Root system architecture(RSA) plays an important role in phosphorus(P) acquisition,but enhancing P use efficiency(PUE) in maize via genetic manipulation of RSA has not yet been reported.Here,using a maize recombinant inbred line(RIL) population,we investigated the genetic relationships between PUE and RSA,and developed P-efficient lines by selection of quantitative trait loci(QTLs) that coincide for both traits.In low-P(LP) fields,P uptake efficiency(Pup E) was more closely correlated with PUE(r =0.48-0.54),and RSA in hydroponics was significantly related to Pup E(r=0.25-0.30) but not to P utilization efficiency(Put E).QTL analysis detected a chromosome region where two QTLs for PUE,three for Pup E and three for RSA were assigned into two QTL clusters,Cl-bin3.04 a and Cl-bin3.04 b.These QTLs had favorable effects from alleles derived from the large-rooted and high-Pup E parent.Marker-assisted selection(MAS) identified nine advanced backcross-derived lines carrying Cl-bin3.04 a or Cl-bin3.04 b that displayed mean increases of 22%e26% in PUE in LP fields.Furthermore,a line L224 pyramiding Clbin3.04 a and Cl-bin3.04 b showed enhanced Pup E,relying mainly on changes in root morphology,rather than root physiology,under both hydroponic and field conditions.These results highlight the physiological and genetic contributions of RSA to maize Pup E,and provide a successful study case of developing P-efficient crops through QTL-based selection. | Riliang Gu Fanjun Chen Lizhi Long Hongguang Cai Zhigang Liu Jiabo Yang Lifeng Wang Huiyong Li Junhui Li Wenxin Liu Guohua Mi Fusuo Zhang Lixing Yuan | 2016 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2016,43,11: | 3 |

| 12 | TLR9 agonist enhances radiofrequency ablation-induced CTL responses, leading to the potent inhibition of primary tumor growth and lung metastasis显示文摘Radiofrequency ablation(RFA)is the most common approach to thermal ablation for cancer therapy.Unfortunately,its efficacy is limited by incomplete ablation,and further optimization of RFA is required.Here,we demonstrate that incubation at 65°C triggers more EG7 tumor cell death by necrosis than treatment at 45°C,and the 65°C-treated cells are more effective at inducing antigen-specific CD8^(+)cytotoxic T lymphocyte(CTL)responses after injection in mice than the 45°C-treated ones.Dendritic cells(DCs)that phagocytose 65°C-treated EG7 cells become mature with upregulated MHCII and CD80 expression and are capable of efficiently inducing effector CTLs in mouse tumor models.RFA(65°C)therapy of EG7 tumors induces large areas of tumor necrosis and stimulates CTL responses.This leads to complete regression of small(~100 mm^(3))tumors but fails to suppress the growth of larger(~350 mm^(3))tumors.The administration of the Toll-like receptor-9(TLR9)agonist unmethylated cytosine-phosphorothioate-guanine oligonucleotide(CpG)to DCs phagocytosing 65°C-treated EG7 cells enhances the expression of MHCII and CD40 on DCs as well as DC-induced stimulation of CTL responses.Importantly,the intratumoral administration of CpG following RFA also increases the frequencies of tumor-associated immunogenic CD11b−CD11c^(+)CD103^(+)DC2 and CD11b+F4/80+MHCII+M1 macrophages and increases CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)T-cell tumor infiltration,leading to enhanced CD4^(+)T cell-dependent CTL responses and potent inhibition of primary RFA-treated or distant untreated tumor growth as well as tumor lung metastasis in mice bearing larger tumors.Overall,our data indicate that CpG administration,which enhances RFA-induced CTL responses and ultimately potentiates the inhibition of primary tumor growth and lung metastasis,is a promising strategy for improving RFA treatment,which may assist in optimizing this important cancer therapy. | Aizhang Xu Lifeng Zhang Jingying Yuan Fatma Babikr Andrew Freywald Rajni Chibbar Michael Moser Wenjun Zhang Bing Zhang Zhaoying Fu Jim Xiang | 2019 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2019,16,10: | 3 |

The model was established by GIS techniques and took land use/cover, stratum characters, slope aspect, slope gradient, elevation difference and slope shape as evaluation factors. The data of land use/cover were obtained by remote sensing, and the weights of the factors mentioned above were established by the analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The results indicate, low danger areas in the studied area account for 66.51%, and high danger areas and very high danger areas occupy 1/3 of the total area. The regions of high and very high danger are mainly located around the urban area of Wanzhou District and on the banks of the Yangtze River with a relatively large area , where collapse and landslide directly threats densely populated areas and Three Gorges Reservoir. Slope destabilization, if occurs, will bring huge loss to social economy. | 19 | Structural Basis of SARS-CoV-2 Polymerase Inhibition by Favipiravir显示文摘The outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARSCoV-2)has developed into an unprecedented global pandemic.Nucleoside analogs,such as Remdesivir and Favipiravir,can serve as the firstline broad-spectrum antiviral drugs by targeting the viral polymerases.However,the underlying mechanisms for the antiviral efficacies of these drugs are far from well understood.Here,we reveal that Favipiravir,as a pyrazine derivative,could be incorporated into the viral RNA products by mimicking both adenine and guanine nucleotides.This drug thus inhibits viral replication mainly by inducing mutations in progeny RNAs,different from Remdesivir or other RNA-terminating nucleoside analogs that impair the elongation of RNA products.We further determined the cryo-EM structure of Favipiravir bound to the replicating polymerase complex of SARSCoV-2 in the pre-catalytic state.This structure provides a missing snapshot for visualizing the catalysis dynamics of coronavirus polymerase,and reveals an unexpected base-pairing pattern between Favipiravir and pyrimidine residues that may explain its capacity for mimicking both adenine and guanine nucleotides.These findings shed light on the mechanism of coronavirus polymerase catalysis and provide a rational basis for developing antiviral drugs to combat the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. | Qi Peng Ruchao Peng Bin Yuan Min Wang Jingru Zhao Lifeng Fu Jianxun Qi Yi Shi | 2021 | The Innovation2021,2,1: | 1 |
