| 3 | Biological characteristics of marine bacterium S-9801 strain and its culture conditions of pigment production显示文摘Strain of Flavobacterium sp.(S-9801),was screened from 207 strains of marine bacteria isolated from the Bohai Sea continental shelf and the Zhujiang Estuary,for its red pigment production.The biological characteristics of strain S-9801 and culture conditions of pigment production have been checked out in this study. The color of the bacterial colony on 2216E medium was from coccineus to rose bengal. Optimum culture conditions were sodium chloride concentration(g/dm3),10~30;pH,3~8;temperature,25~28℃;tryptone and yeast extract as nitrogen sources and glucose as carbon source. | 4 | Synthesis and ordered aggregation in water of a blue light-emitting PEO-PHP-PEO triblock oligomer显示文摘A novel blue light-emitting coil-rod-coil triblock oligomer, PEO-PHP-PEO, which consists of para-hexaphenyl (PHP) as the rigid rod and poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO, M w = 750) as the flexible coil, has been synthesized. It is the first soluble poly(para-phenylene) molecule containing no lateral substituent, which can dissolve not only in organic solvents such as chloroform and THF, but also in water. The critical micelle concentration (CMC) of PEO-PHP-PEO in water is 5.25×10-4 mol·L-1 and the surface tension at CMC, 鉉MC, is 61.29 mN·m-1. The absorption peak of the molecularly dissolved PEO-PHP-PEO in water is centered at 323 nm and the fluorescence spectrum has a maximum at 432 nm and shows the vibronic fine structure typical of molecular dissolution. The photoluminescence spectrum of the aggregate solution is similar to that of the PHP polycrystal film, indicating that the ordered packing of PHP block has taken place due to a combination of hydrophobic interaction and p-p stacking. The chemical structure and the number of repeating unit in PEO coil and PPP rod were characterized by 1H-NMR and MALDITOF mass spectrometry. The diblock oligomers showed good solubility in common organic solvents and aggregated in water as characterized by a blue shift in UV-vis absorption spectra, a red shift in emission spectra, quenching of the fluorescence and formation of the microfibrilla and fractal-like structures. | 11 | Whole-genome resequencing of the wheat A subgenome progenitor Triticum urartu provides insights into its demographic history and geographic adaptation显示文摘Triticum urartu is the progenitor of the A subgenome in tetraploid and hexaploid wheat.Uncovering the landscape of genetic variations in T.urartu will help us understand the evolutionary and polyploid characteristics of wheat.Here,we investigated the population genomics of T.urartu by genome-wide sequencing of 59 representative accessions collected around the world.A total of 42.2 million highquality single-nucleotide polymorphisms and 3 million insertions and deletions were obtained by mapping reads to the reference genome.The ancient T.urartu population experienced a significant reduction in effective population size(Ne)from3000000 to140000 and subsequently split into eastern Mediterranean coastal and Mesopotamian-Transcaucasian populations during the Younger Dryas period.A map of allelic drift paths displayed splits and mixtures between different geographic groups,and a strong genetic drift towards hexaploid wheat was also observed,indicating that the direct donor of the A subgenome originated from northwestern Syria.Genetic changes were revealed between the eastern Mediterranean coastal and Mesopotamian-Transcaucasian populations in genes orthologous to those regulating plant development and stress responses.A genome-wide association study identified two single-nucleotide polymorphisms in the exonic regions of the SEMI-DWARF 37 ortholog that corresponded to the different T.urartu ecotype groups.Our study provides novel insights into the origin and genetic legacy of the A subgenome in polyploid wheat and contributes a gene repertoire for genomicsenabled improvements in wheat breeding. | Xin Wang Yafei Hu Weiming He Kang Yu Chi Zhang Yiwen Li Wenlong Yang Jiazhu Sun Xin Li Fengya Zheng Shengjun Zhou Lingrang Kong Hongqing Ling Shancen Zhao Dongcheng Liu Aimin Zhang | 2022 | Plant Communications2022,3,5: | 1 |
| 12 | Incidence,genomic diversity,and evolution of strawberry mottle virus in China显示文摘Strawberry mottle virus(SMoV)is one of the most common viruses infecting strawberries,causing losses to fruit yield and quality.In this study,165 strawberry leaf samples were collected from six provinces of China,46 of which tested positive for SMoV.The complete genome sequences of 11 SMoV isolates were obtained from Liaoning(DGHY3,DGHY16-2,DGHY17,DGHY20-2,DGHY21,DGHY26-2),Shandong(SDHY1,SDHY5,SDHY31-2,SDHY33-2),and Beijing(BJMX7).The RNA1 and RNA2 nucleotide identities between the 11 Chinese isolates were 95.4-99.3%and 96.3-99.6%,respectively,and they shared 78.4-96.6%and 84.8-93.5%identities with the available SMoV isolates in GenBank.Recombination analysis revealed that Chinese isolate SDHY33-2 and Canadian isolates Ontario and Simcoe were recombinants,and recombination events frequently occurred in the 3’UTR of SMoV.Phylogenetic analysis showed that in an RNA1 tree,most Chinese isolates clustered into the same group while isolate DGHY17 clustered into another group together with Czech isolate C and three Canadian isolates.In an RNA2 tree,all Chinese isolates clustered into a single group.The phylogenetic analysis based on nucleotide sequences was consistent with the results based on coat protein(CP)and RNA-dependent RNA polymerase(RdRp).Further evolutionary analysis indicated that negative selection drives SMoV evolution,and gene flow plays a major role in genetic differentiation.Additionally,reassortment and recombination also influence the evolution of SMoV.To our knowledge,this is the first report of the complete genome of SMoV isolates from China and a detailed analysis of the SMoV population structure. | LINGJIAO FAN CHENGYONG HE MENGMENG WU DEHANG GAO ZHENFEI DONG SHENGFAN HOU ZEKUN FENG HONGQING WANG | 2021 | BIOCELL2021,45,4: | 1 |
