Rapid Assessment on Potential Risks of Schistosomiasis Transmission—7 PLADs,China,2019 and 2021显示文摘Summary What is already known about this topic?Oncomelania hupensis(O.hupensis)and livestock are main infection sources of schistosomiasis. The schistosome infected O.hupensis and livestock’s feces are important risk factors in the transmission of schistosomiasis. What is added by this report? The potential risks of schistosomiasis transmission remain prevalent, giving an early warning to local government with information on existing transmission risks. It is expected that the effectiveness and efficiency of schistosomiasis surveillance could be improved by conducting rapid risk assessment at the beginning of transmission season. | Junyi He Hongqing Zhu Ziping Bao Lijuan Zhang Yinlong Li Ting Feng Suying Guo Wangping Deng Can Wang Hui Dang Tiewu Jia Chao Lyu Zhiqiang Qin Chunli Cao Jing Xu Shizhu Li Xiaonong Zhou | 2021 | China CDC weekly2021,3,51: | 5
T-S Fuzzy Remote Sensing Monitoring Model of Snail Distribution by Landsat 8 and Sentinel 2 Data显示文摘Approximately half of the world’s population is at the risk of at least one vector-borne parasitic disease. The survival of intermediate hosts of vector-borne parasitic diseases is governed by various environmental factors, and remote sensing can be used to characterize and monitor environmental factors related to intermediate host breeding and reproduction, and become a powerful means to monitor the vector-borne parasitic diseases.Schistosomiasis is a parasitic disease that menaces human health.Oncomelaniahupensis(snail)is the unique intermediate host of Schistosoma,so monitoring and controlling the number of snail is key to reduce the risk of schistosomiasis transmission. In this paper,Landsat 8 OLI and Sentinel 2 MSI data had been used to obtain the environmental factors(vegetation, soil, temperature, terrain et al.),which are related to the multiplying and transmission of intermediate host. Then this study used T-S(Takagi-Sugeno)Fuzzy RS model to establish a new suitable index membership function due to the different RS data, and a long time series monitoring of snail distribution in Dongting Lake from 2014 to 2018 was achieved.A comparative analysis was performed to validate the predicted results against the field survey data. The results demonstrated the accuracy of the developed model in predicting the distribution of snails. | Zhaoyan LIU Lingli TANG Chuanrong LI Shang XIA Jingbo XUE Shizhu LI Xiaonong ZHOU | 2020 | Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science2020,3,4: | 4
Subtyping of type A influenza by sequencing the variable regions of HA gene specifically amplified with RT-PCR显示文摘The outbreak of a novel influenza A(H1N1) virus across the globe poses a threat to human health. It is of paramount importance to develop a rapid, reliable and inexpensive diagnostic procedure.Based on the bioinformatic information from public database, primers specific for influenza A virus surface protein haemagglutinin(HA) of several subtypes(including H1,H2,H3,H5,H7 and H9) were designed.Primer-specific PCR products were subjected to sequencing for accurately distinguishing H1 and H3 subtypes from others. This sequencing-based detection method will not only be applied to rapid detection and simultaneous subtype identification of new influenza A virus H1N1,but also provide the strategies to monitor other new types ofinfluenza virus with explosive potential. | YAN An DING GuoHui ZHOU ZhenFeng DONG Hui ZHANG YaKun ZHU Lei HE YunGang ZHANG GuoQing LI YiXue SUN Bing HUANG Zhong LAN Ke JIN Li WANG HongYan WANG XiaoNing YANG Zhong ZHONG Yang DAI JianXin GUO YaJun WANG Hao CHE XiaoYan WU Fan YUAN ZhenGan ZHANG Xi CAO ZhiWei ZHOU XiaoNong ZHOU JiaHai MA ZhiYong TONG GuangZhi ZHAO GuoPing JIN WeiRong XIONG Hui | 2009 | Chinese Science Bulletin2009,54,13: | 3
The mutation network for the hemagglutinin gene from the novel influenza A (H1N1) virus显示文摘A mutation network for the hemagglutinin gene(HA) of the novel type A(H1N1) influenza virus was constructed.Sequence homology analysis indicated that one HA sequence type from the viruses mainly isolated from Mexico was likely the original type in this epidemic.Based on the 658A and 1408T mutations in HA,the viruses evolving into this epidemic were divided into three categories, the Mexico, the transitional and the New York type. The three groups of viruses presented distinctive clustering features in their geographic distributions. | HE YunGang DING GuoHui BIAN Chao HUANG Zhong LAN Ke SUN Bing WANG XueCai LI YiXue WANG HongYan WANG XiaoNing YANG Zhong ZHONG Yang JIN WeiRong XIONG Hui DAI JianXin GUO YaJun WANG Hao CHE XiaoYan WU Fan YUAN ZhenAn ZHANG Xi CAO ZhiWei ZHOU XiaoNong ZHOU JiaHai MA ZhiYong TONG GuangZhi ZHAO GuoPing JIN Li | 2009 | Chinese Science Bulletin2009,54,13: | 3
Band Engineering and Morphology Control of Oxygen‑Incorporated Graphitic Carbon Nitride Porous Nanosheets for Highly Efficient Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution显示文摘Graphitic carbon nitride(g-C3N4)-based photocatalysts have shown great potential in the splitting of water. However, the intrinsic drawbacks of g-C3N4,such as low surface area, poor diffusion, and charge separation efficiency, remain as the bottleneck to achieve highly efficient hydrogen evolution. Here,a hollow oxygen-incorporated g-C3N4 nanosheet(OCN)with an improved surface area of 148.5 m2 g^−1 is fabricated by the multiple thermal treatments under the N2/O2 atmosphere, wherein the C–O bonds are formed through two ways of physical adsorption and doping. The physical characterization and theoretical calculation indicate that the O-adsorption can promote the generation of defects, leading to the formation of hollow morphology, while the O-doping results in reduced band gap of g-C3N4.The optimized OCN shows an excellent photocatalytic hydrogen evolution activity of 3519.6μmol g^−1 h^−1 for~20 h,which is over four times higher than that of g-C3N4(850.1μmol g^−1 h^−1)and outperforms most of the reported g-C3N4 catalysts. | Yunyan Wu Pan Xiong Jianchun Wu Zengliang Huang Jingwen Sun Qinqin Liu Xiaonong Cheng Juan Yang Junwu Zhu Yazhou Zhou | 2021 | Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,3: | 3
Comparative Study about Degradation of High-purity Magnesium Screw in Intact Femoral Intracondyle and in Fixation of Femoral Intracondylar Fracture显示文摘Bone screws encounter complex mechanical environment in fracture fixation of weight-bearing bone.In the present study, high-purity magnesium(HP Mg) screws were applied in fixation of rabbit femoral intracondylar fracture with 3 mm gap. In the control group, HP Mg screws of the same design were implanted at corresponding position of contralateral leg. At 4, 8 and 16 weeks after surgery, retrieved femurs went through micro-computed tomography(micro-CT) scanning and hard tissue processing. Under mechanical stress involved in fracture fixation, bending of screw bolt was observed at the portion exposed to facture gap at 4 weeks. Then local corrosion at the same portion was detected 16 weeks after surgery, which indicated the accumulation effect of mechanical stress on Mg corrosion. HP Mg screws in the fracture group had no significant difference with the control group in screw volume, surface area, surfaceto-volume ratio(S/V). And peri-implant bone volume/tissues volume(BV/TV) and bone volume density(BMD) in the fracture group was comparable to that in the control group. Furthermore, histological analysis showed new formed bone tissues in fracture gap and fracture healing 16 weeks after surgery. Under mechanical stress, HP Mg screw suffered bolt bending and local corrosion at the portion exposed to fracture gap. But it had no influence on the integral corrosion behaviors, osseointegration of HP Mg screw and the fracture healing. Therefore, HP Mg screws possessed good potential in fracture fixation of weightbearing bones. | Pei Han Pengfei Cheng Changli Zhao Shaoxiang Zhang Runhua Zhou Xiaonong Zhang Yimin Chai | 2017 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2017,33,3: | 2
Structure modeling and spatial epitope analysis for HA protein of the novel H1N1 influenza virus显示文摘In recent months,a novel influenza virus H1N1 broke out around the world. With bioinformatics technology, the 3D structure of HA protein was obtained, and the epitope residues were predicted with the method developed in our group for this novel flu virus.58 amino acids were identified as potential epitope residues, the majority of which clustered at the surface of the globular head of HA protein.Although it is located at the similar position, the epitope of HA protein for the novel H1N1 flu virus has obvious differences in the electrostatic potential compared to that of HA proteins from previous flu viruses. | WU Di XU TianLei SUN Jing DAI JianXin DING GuoHui HE YunGang ZHOU ZhengFeng XIONG Hui DONG Hui JIN WeiRong BIAN Chao JIN Li WANG HongYan WANG XiaoNing YANG Zhong ZHONG Yang WANG Hao CHE XiaoYan HUANG Zhong LAN Ke SUN Bing WU Fan YUAN ZhenAn ZHANG Xi ZHOU XiaoNong ZHOU JiaHai MA ZhiYong TONG GuangZhi GUO YaJun ZHAO GuoPing LI YiXue CAO ZhiWei | 2009 | Chinese Science Bulletin2009,54,13: | 2
Social insights on the implementation of One Health in zoonosis prevention and control: a scoping review显示文摘Background:The One Health (OH) concept has been promoted widely around the globe. OH framework is expected to be applied as an integrated approach to support addressing zoonotic diseases as a significant global health issue and to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of zoonosis prevention and control. This review is intended to overview the social impact of the implementation of OH on zoonosis prevention and control. Methods:A scoping review of studies in the past 10 years was performed to overview the integration feature of OH in zoonosis prevention and control and the social impacts of OH. PubMed and Web of Science were searched for studies published in English between January 2011 and June 2021. The included studies were selected based on predefined criteria.Results:Thirty-two studies were included in this review, and most of them adopted qualitative and semi-qualitative methods. More than 50% of the studies focused on zoonosis prevention and control. Most studies were conducted in low- and middle-income countries in Africa and Asia. Applying OH approach in diseases control integrates policymakers, stakeholders, and academics from various backgrounds. The impact of OH on economic is estimated that it may alleviate the burden of diseases and poverty in the long term, even though more financial support might be needed at the initial stage of OH implementation. OH implementation considers social and ecological factors related to zoonosis transmission and provides comprehensive strategies to assess and address related risks in different communities according to regions and customs. Conclusions:Based on reviewed literature, although there seems to be a lack of guidelines for assessing and visualizing the outcomes of OH implementation, which may limit the large-scale adoption of it, evidence on the contributions of implementing OH concepts on zoonosis prevention and control indicates long-term benefits to society, including a better integration of politics, stakeholders and academics to improve their cooperation, a potential to address economic issues caused by zoonosis, and a comprehensive consideration on social determinants of health during zoonosis prevention and control. | Junyi He Zhaoyu Guo Pin Yang Chunli Cao Jing Xu Xiaonong Zhou Shizhu Li | 2022 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2022,11,3: | 1

Tripotassium citrate monohydrate derived carbon nanosheets as a competent assistant to manganese dioxide with remarkable performance in the supercapacitor显示文摘Production cost, capacitance, and electrode materials safety are the key factors to be concerned about for supercapacitors. In this work,a type of carbon nanosheets was produced through the carbonization of tripotassium citrate monohydrate and nitric acidification.Subsequently,a well-designed manganese dioxide/carbon nanosheets composite was synthesized through hydrothermal treating. The carbon nanosheets served as the substrate for growing the manganese dioxide, regulating its distribution, and preventing it from inhomogeneous dimensions and severe agglomeration. Many manganese dioxide nanosheets grew vertically on the numerous functional groups generated on the surface of the carbon nanosheets during acidification. The synergistic combination of carbon nanosheets and manganese dioxide tailors the electrochemical performance of the composite, which benefits from the excellent conductivity and stability of carbon nanosheets. The carbon nanosheets derived from tripotassium citrate monohydrate are conducive to the remarkable performance of manganese dioxide/carbon nanosheets electrode. Finally,an asymmetric supercapacitor with active carbon as the cathode and manganese dioxide/carbon nanosheets as the anode was assembled, achieving an outstanding energy density of 54.68 Wh·kg^(−1) and remarkable power density of 6399.2 W·kg^(−1) superior to conventional lead-acid batteries. After 10000 charge-discharge cycles, the device retained 75.3%of the initial capacitance, showing good cycle stability. Two assembled asymmetric supercapacitors in series charged for 3 min could power a yellow light emitting diode with an operating voltage of 2 V for 2 min. This study may provide valuable insights for applying carbon materials and manganese dioxide in the energy storage field. | Wenjing Zhang Xiaoxue Yuan Xuehua Yan Mingyu You Hui Jiang Jieyu Miao Yanli Li Wending Zhou Yihan Zhu Xiaonong Cheng | 2022 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2022,16,3: | 0
