1Vision,application scenarios,and key technology trends for 6G mobile communications显示文摘With the global commercialization of the fifth-generation(5G)network,many countries,including China,USA,European countries,Japan,and Korea,have started exploring 6G mobile communication network,following the tradition of“planning the next while commercializing one generation”.Currently,studies on 6G networks are at the infancy stage.Research on the vision and requirements for 6G is still ongoing,and the industry is yet to clarify the key enabling technologies for 6G.However,6G will certainly build on the success of 5G.Therefore,developing high-quality 5G networks and seamlessly integrating 5G with verticals are the priorities before 2030,when 6G is projected to be commercialized.Also,global 5G standards will keep evolving to better support vertical applications.As a milestone,the Third-Generation Partnership Project(3GPP)published Release 16 in July 2020,which continuously enhanced the capabilities of mobile broadband service based on Release 15 and realized the support for low-delay and high-reliability applications,such as Internet of Vehicles and industrial Internet.Currently,3GPP is working on Releases 17 and 18,focusing on meeting the demands of medium-and high-data-rate machine communication with low-cost and high-precision positioning,which will be published in June 2022.Thus,6G networks will further expand the application fields and scope of the Internet of Things to accommodate those services and applications that are beyond the capabilities of 5G networks.Herein,we present our vision,application scenarios,and key technological trends for 6G networks.Furthermore,we propose several future research opportunities in 6G networks with regard to industrialization and standardization.Zhiqin WANG Ying DU Kejun WEI Kaifeng HAN Xiaoyan XU Guiming WEI Wen TONG Peiying ZHU Jianglei MA Jun WANG Guangjian WANG Xueqiang YAN Jiying XIANG He HUANG Ruyue LI Xinhui WANG Yingmin WANG Shaohui SUN Shiqiang SUO Qiubin GAO Xin SU 2022Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,5:17

14Statistical analysis of nitrogen use efficiency in Northeast China using multiple linear regression and Random Forest显示文摘Understanding the spatial-temporal dynamics of crop nitrogen(N)use efficiency(NUE)and the relationship with explanatory environmental variables can support land-use management and policymaking.Nevertheless,the application of statistical models for evaluating the explanatory variables of space-time variation in crop NUE is still under-researched.In this study,stepwise multiple linear regression(SMLR)and Random Forest(RF)were used to evaluate the spatial and temporal variation of NUE indicators(i.e.,partial factor productivity of N(PFPN);partial nutrient balance of N(PNBN))at county scale in Northeast China(Heilongjiang,Liaoning and Jilin provinces)from 1990 to 2015.Explanatory variables included agricultural management practices,topography,climate,economy,soil and crop types.Results revealed that the PFPN was higher in the northern parts and lower in the center of the Northeast China and PNBN increased from southern to northern parts during the 1990–2015 period.The NUE indicators decreased with time in most counties during the study period.The model efficiency coefficients of the SMLR and RF models were 0.44 and 0.84 for PFPN,and 0.67 and 0.89 for PNBN,respectively.The RF model had higher relative importance of soil and climatic covariates and lower relative importance of crop covariates compared to the SMLR model.The planting area index of vegetables and beans,soil clay content,saturated water content,enhanced vegetation index in November&December,soil bulk density,and annual minimum temperature were the main explanatory variables for both NUE indicators.This is the first study to show the quantitative relative importance of explanatory variables for NUE at a county level in Northeast China using RF and SMLR.This novel study gives reference measurements to improve crop NUE which is one of the most effective means of managing N for sustainable development,ensuring food security,alleviating environmental degradation and increasing farmer’s profitability.LIU Ying-xia Gerard B.M.HEUVELINK Zhanguo BAI HE Ping JIANG Rong HUANG Shaohui XU Xin-peng 2022Journal of Integrative Agriculture2022,21,12:1
15Pathogenic analysis of coxsackievirus A10 in rhesus macaques显示文摘Coxsackievirus A10(CV-A10)is one of the etiological agents associated with hand,foot and mouth disease(HFMD)and also causes a variety of illnesses in humans,including pneumonia,and myocarditis.Different people,particularly young children,may have different immunological responses to infection.Current CV-A10 infection animal models provide only a rudimentary understanding of the pathogenesis and effects of this virus.The characteristics of CV-A10 infection,replication,and shedding in humans remain unknown.In this study,rhesus macaques were infected by CV-A10 via respiratory or digestive route to mimic the HFMD in humans.The clinical symptoms,viral shedding,inflammatory response and pathologic changes were investigated in acute infection(1–11 day post infection)and recovery period(12–180 day post infection).All infected rhesus macaques during acute infection showed obvious viremia and clinical symptoms which were comparable to those observed in humans.Substantial inflammatory pathological damages were observed in multi-organs,including the lung,heart,liver,and kidney.During the acute period,all rhesus macaques displayed clinical signs,viral shedding,normalization of serum cytokines,and increased serum neutralizing antibodies,whereas inflammatory factors caused some animals to develop severe hyperglycemia during the recovery period.In addition,there were no significant differences between respiratory and digestive tract infected animals.Overall,all data presented suggest that the rhesus macaques provide the first non-human primate animal model for investigating CV-A10 pathophysiology and assessing the development of potential human therapies.Suqin Duan Fengmei Yang Yanyan Li Yuan Zhao Li Shi Meng Qin Quan Liu Weihua Jin Junbin Wang Lixiong Chen Wei Zhang Yongjie Li Ying Zhang Jingjing Zhang Shaohui Ma Zhanlong He Qihan Li 2022Virologica Sinica2022,37,4:1

19Design and test of the key components for a combing-type tobacco harvester显示文摘In response to the problems of low efficiency,high labor intensity,and low mechanization in manual tobacco harvesting,a comb-off tobacco picking device for southern hilly tobacco areas was designed following the agronomic requirements and the principle of manual picking of tobacco harvesting in southern China.The device was composed of the power chassis,picking mechanism,and storage mechanism.This study involved the theoretical analysis,structural design,and modeling of the key components,such as chassis structure,combing-type picking mechanism,and power synchronization mechanism.The results of the motion analysis and calculation of the picking process demonstrated that the adjustment range of the comb chain elevation angles was from 12.4°to 20.9°,the comb rod installation distance was 76.2 mm,and the synchronizing mechanism transmission ratio was 3:10.One-factor test and three-factor three-level orthogonal test was performed with the forward speed of the chassis,the distance between the picking device baffles and the elevation angle of the chain with the combing bar as test factors,and the rate of broken and missed tobacco picking as evaluation indicators.It was revealed that the optimal combination of the forward speed of the chassis,the distance between the baffles,and the chain elevation angle were 1.5 km/h,75 mm,and 12.4°,respectively.Moreover,verification tests suggested that the breakage rate of tobacco leaves was 9.99%,and the probability of missed tobacco picking was 7.31%,both of which satisfy the agriculture requirements and the operational requirements in the agricultural machinery certification syllabus.Chaoran Sun Shaohui Tan Songling Sun Mingtao Xiao Limei Chen Wenke Ai Zhihua Qiu Ping Jiang Yang He 2024International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2024,17,1:0
20Study on Swell Pressure Stress of Bentonite in Geosynthetic Clay Liners显示文摘The geosynthetic clay liner(GCL)is a kind of waterproofing material used widely in engineering.The waterproof mechanism is understood in terms of bentonite particles becoming water-obstruct colloid layers after they sorb water and swell.The swell pressure stress,however,has not been determined directly till now.In our experiment,swell pressure stress of the GCL under saturated water-sorbing condition was measured directly using a custom-made instrument.The results show that(1)the instrument designed by the authors performs satisfactorily and the test results are reproducible;and(2)the trend line of swell pressure stress variation with time can be divided into three segments.The first segment is characterized by a quick increase of the swell force in the first 0?50 hours.The swell pressure stress increases by 7.00×10?4?1.00×10?3 MPa/h.The second segment shows a slow increase of the swell pressure stress from the 50th to 1730th hour.The swell force increases by 7.54×10?6?2.02×10?5 MPa/h.The third segment is characterized by a little variation in swell pressure stress after 1730 hours.In this segment,the average value of the swell pressure stress measurements is 0.0719 MPa and the maximum value is 0.0729 MPa.It is suggested that the swell pressure stress is mainly raised by water entering pores among montmorillonite particles and interstitial layers in individual montmorillonite crystals,leading to an increase of volume.SHEN Junfeng LI Shengrong HE Shaohui ZHANG Guangshan TONG Jinggui YAN Bokun 2006Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2006,80,5:0
