2Urban Expansion in Major Grain Producing Area from 1978 to 2017:A Case Study of Zhengzhou Metropolitan Area,China显示文摘The spatial form of urbanization in China has developed from single-core city expansion to a multi-center metropolitan area.However,little attention has been paid to the growth process of the emerging metropolitan area situated in major grain producing locations in the central China.Taking the Zhengzhou metropolitan area(ZZMA)as a case study,we developed an inverse S-shape model to characterize the spatial distribution of urban land density,and constructed an urban expansion core index,urban expansion intensity index,and urban compactness index to quantify the spatial structure change that has taken place from 1978 to 2017 during the process of urban expansion.Moreover,cropland contribution rate(CR)was constructed to evaluate the impacts of urban expansion on croplands.We uncovered four key findings.First,over the past 40 yr,the ZZMA has experienced dramatic expansion,and the central city of Zhengzhou expanded faster than other cities.The gravity centers of urban expansion of surrounding cities were moving toward to Zhengzhou City.Second,the urban land density decreased with the distance from the city center to the outskirts.As the only large city,Zhengzhou has experienced the fastest and most compact centralized urban expansion,especially after 2000,while other medium-and small-sized cities have experienced low-intensity decentralized expansion.Third,the urban core has been gradually expanding outward.From 1978 to 2017,the hot-zone of urban growth has moved progressively with the acceleration of urbanization.All cities except Jiaozuo had a single peak in different periods.Forth,the cities in national core grain-producing areas has higher cropland contribution rates and lower urban expansion areas,which was closely related to cropland protection.Further analysis showed that large city was relatively better positioned than smaller cities in the efficiency of their urban infrastructure and the effectiveness of wealth creation efficiency in the urbanized area could be tested in all cities,and the policy factor seemed to play an important role in the urban expansion process.YANG Yongju ZHANG Hebing QIAO Xuning LIU Liang ZHENG Jinchan 2023Chinese Geographical Science2023,33,1:0
3Quality evaluation of land reclamation in mining area based on remote sensing显示文摘Several deficiencies exist in the present evaluation of land reclamation quality in mining areas.These include the absence of an established set of evaluation index systems and standard acceptance criteria,as well as the use of traditional sam-pling techniques,which are costly and in eficiency,and time-consuming.Compared with the traditional sampling survey methods,remote sensing has the advantages of a wide detection range,diverse information collection,multiple data-acquiring strategies,high speed,and short cycle.In this study,we used the Xinzhuang coal mining field in Yongcheng,Henan Province as an example to extract information and invert surface parameters using remote sensing techniques,based on national and local reclamation regulations and standards.Subsequently,using remote sensing,we constructed an index system for evaluating land reclamation quality in three aspects:reclaiming project quality,soil quality,and ecological benefits.Through the grading standards of evaluation indicators and quantitative remote sensing models,we determined the extracted information on the area of indicators,roads,ditches,soil moisture,organic matter,and ecological benefits after reclamation.Based on this,we established a quality evaluation model for mining land reclamation using an improved index and method.The evaluation units were divided,and the weight of the evaluation index was determined using the analytic hierarchy process and data envelopment analysis(AHP-DEA)method.The land reclamation quality in the study area was comprehensively evaluated,field accuracy was verified,and the results were analyzed.The results show that,except for the removal of roads,houses,and fishponds in the study area,all 13 evaluation units achieved a score of 60 points or higher.The quality of reclamation met the standards,and the evaluation results were consistent with the conclusions of the field investigation and project acceptance report,demonstrating the reliability and feasibility of the method developed in this study.The research results will provide technical support for the scientific evaluation of land reclamation quality.Shidong Wang Jjianhua Guo Yang Yu Pujie Shi Hebing Zhang 2023International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2023,10,3:0
4Nano-TiO_(2) coate d nee dle carbon fib er reinforced phenolic aerogel composite with low density, excellent heat-insulating and infrared radiation shielding performance显示文摘High-performance thermal protection materials(TPMs)for spacecraft are becoming current research hotspots.Lightweight polymer-based ablators are considered to be the most promising candidates for TPMs due to their excellent designability and versatility.In this study,a unique nano-TiO_(2) coated needled carbon fiber felt/phenolic resin aerogel composite(TiCF/PR)is reported.Wherein the anatase nano-TiO_(2) was in-situ coated on the surface of carbon fibers uniformly through the sol-gel and calcination method,then,the phenolic resin aerogel was in-situ synthesized in the nano-TiO_(2) coated needled carbon fiber felt(TiCF)preform through vacuum impregnation and solvothermal method.The as-prepared aerogel com-posite possesses a low density(0.30–0.32 g/cm^(3)),low thermal conductivity(0.034 and 0.312 W/(m K)in the z and xy directions),and excellent thermal stability with 13.86%residual weight at 1300℃ in air.It is worthwhile to note that the TiCF/PR composite exhibits excellent antioxidant ablation and infrared(IR)radiation shielding properties in a high-temperature heating environment.With an oxygen-acetylene blaze heating of 1.5 MW/m^(2) for 150 s,the linear ablation rates decreased by 13.4%,and the backside temperature reduced from 322.3 to 179.1℃ compared to that of the sample without nano-TiO_(2) coating.The experimental and theoretical analysis showed that the present TiCF/PR nanocomposite has competitive and potential application prospects in the field of future TPMs.Yiwu Pan Xiangyu Jin Hebing Wang He Huang Can Wu Xiaojie Yan Changqing Hong Xinghong Zhang 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,21:0
5Treatment patterns and a prognostic scoring system for elderly acute myeloid leukemia patients:a retrospective multicenter cohort study in China显示文摘Objective:Acute myeloid leukemia(AML)is primarily a malignant disorder affecting the elderly.We aimed to compare the outcomes of different treatment patterns in elderly AML patients and to propose a prognostic scoring system that could predict survival and aid therapeutic decisions.Methods:Patients aged≥60 years who had been diagnosed with AML at 7 hospitals in China were enrolled(n=228).Treatment patterns included standard chemotherapy,low intensity therapy,and best supportive care(BSC).Results:The early mortality rates were 31%,6.8%,and 6.3%for the BSC,low intensity therapy,and standard chemotherapy groups,respectively.The complete remission rate of the standard chemotherapy group was higher than that of the low intensity therapy group.The median overall survival(OS)was 561 days and 222 days for the standard chemotherapy and low intensity therapy groups,respectively,and were both longer than that of the BSC group(86 days).Based on multivariate analyses,we defined a prognostic scoring system that enabled classification of patients into 3 risk groups,in an attempt to predict the OS of patients receiving chemotherapies and low intensity therapies.Low and intermediate risk patients benefited more from standard chemotherapies than from low intensity therapies.However,the median OS was comparable between standard chemotherapies and low intensity therapies in high risk patients.Conclusions:Our prognostic scoring system could predict survival and help select appropriate therapies for elderly AML patients.Standard chemotherapy is important for elderly AML patients,particularly for those categorized into low and intermediate risk groups.Chunli Zhang Wei Wan Shuai Zhang Jingwen Wang Ru Feng Jiangtao Li Junyue Chai Hebing Zhou Liru Wang Yuping Zhong Xiaodong Mo Mengzhu Shen Hongmei Jing Hui Liu 2022Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,6:0
