1A vacuum ultraviolet laser with a submicrometer spot for spatially resolved photoemission spectroscopy显示文摘Vacuum ultraviolet(VUV)lasers have demonstrated great potential as the light source for various spectroscopies,which,if they can be focused into a small beam spot,will not only allow investigation of mesoscopic materials and structures but also find application in the manufacture of nano-objects with excellent precision.In this work,we report the construction of a 177 nm VUV laser that can achieve a record-small(〜0.76 μm)focal spot at a long focal length(~45 mm)by using a flat lens without spherical aberration.The size of the beam spot of this VUV laser was tested using a metal grating and exfoliated graphene flakes,and we demonstrated its application in a fluorescence spectroscopy study on pure and Tm3+-doped NaYF4 microcrystals,revealing a new emission band that cannot be observed in the traditional up-conversion process.In addition,this laser system would be an ideal light source for spatially and angleresolved photoemission spectroscopy.Yuanhao Mao Dong Zhao Shen Yan Hongjia Zhang Juan Li Kai Han Xiaojun Xu Chuan Guo Lexian Yang Chaofan Zhang Kun Huang Yulin Chen 2021Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,3:3

4Studies on the Relationship between Neuroendocrine Cellular Differentiation in Gastric Cancers and Post-operative Survival Time显示文摘OBJECTIVE To examine the ultrastructure of gastric cancer cel s by the electron microscope,in order to assess the relationship between neuroendocrine differentiation and post-operative survival time. METHODS NSE,Syn and CgA immunohistochemical labeling was conducted in 168 cases with a common-type of gastric cancer.Electron microscopy was performed in 80 cases with positive immunohistochemical labeling. These cases were fol owed-up for over 5 years and the post-operative survival data analyzed. RESULTS Neuroendocrine granules were found by electron microscopy in 39 cases.The rate of neuroendocrine differentiation found was 23% (39/168),using routine diagnostic criteria and electron microscopy(REM). The post-operative survival time of gastric cancer patients with neuroendocrine differentiation was significantly shorter(P=0.0032)compared to those without neuroendocrine differentiation. 8Cross-layer transmission and energy scheduling under full-duplex energy harvesting wireless OFDM joint transmission显示文摘This paper studies the design of the optimal and online cross-layer transmission and energy schedulings for a full-duplex energy harvesting wireless orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) joint transmissions. Supported by today's power management integrated circuit, the full-duplex energy harvesting system becomes a reality, which can overcome the transmission time loss problem caused by the half-duplex constraint of the energy storage unit(ESU) in the serial Harvest-Store-Use system. However, its corresponding modeling is still unexplored. Therefore, the full-duplex energy harvesting system is first modeled and proved to be equivalent to a composition of energy behavior models of Harvest-Store-Use in fine-time granularity. Then, the convex optimization problem of cross-layer transmission and energy scheduling is formulated with the objective to maximize the sum of transmission throughput during successively multiple time units, which takes into account the temporal variance of energy harvesting rates and channel states, and the limited capacity of ESUs.The optimal power allocation with three dimensions of time, channel and antenna is solved by utilizing the dual decomposition method with the pre-known temporal variance, and the corresponding result of the system throughput provides the theoretical upper bound. Finally, to reduce the throughput degradation caused by channel state prediction errors, a non-convex online scheduling problem is formulated as the classical energy efficiency format. It is transformed into a convex optimization problem by exploiting the properties of fractional programming, and then, an efficiently iterative solution is designed. Numerical results show that the average throughput of the online algorithm is 24% greater than that of existing time-energy adaptive water-filling algorithm. The degradation of the average throughput is less than 19% with probability 90%, even as the channel prediction error reaches 20%. 9Real-world traffic analysis and joint caching and scheduling for in-RAN caching networks显示文摘This paper analyzes the traffic of a current LTE network in China and investigates the joint optimization of content object caching and scheduling for in-radio access network(RAN) caches. Cooperative caching has been well recognized as a way of unleashing the ultimate potential of in-RAN caches, yet its feasibility is still unexplored. Moreover, content object caching and scheduling are two key issues for cache deployment,which are usually jointly considered and resolved. However, they are triggered by different events with different time granularities. Therefore, on the basis of the real-world dataset, the feasibility of in-RAN cooperative caching is proved from aspects of network topology, traffic load difference among small base stations(SBSs)and correlation analysis of content objects requested at different SBSs. Then, it is verified that different time scales should be considered in making content object caching and scheduling decisions. To exploit in-RAN cooperative caching while meeting the time scale requirement in making caching and scheduling decisions, an optimization problem is constructed considering practical transmission constraints in wireless and backhaul. It is proved to be a quadratic assignment problem, and then, a joint caching, and wireless and backhaul scheduling algorithm is proposed based on Lagrangian relaxation and decomposition, and hastening branch and bound.The performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated based on the real-world dataset. 12High efficient removal of HCN over porous CuO/CeO2 micro-nano spheres at lower temperature range显示文摘The porous CeO2 flowerlike micro-nano spheres based materials were prepared to remove HCN effectively at lower temperature range.The CeO2 and a serious of porous flowerlike ceria based materials loaded with metal species including Cu,Ag,Ni,Co and Fe were synthesized by hydrothermal method and precipitation method respectively.The physicochemical properties were probed by means of XRD,H2-TPR,BET,SEM and XPS.The removal ability for 130 mg·m﹣3 HCN over CuO/CeO2 showed the highest activity,the breakthrough time of which was more than 70 min at the condition of 30℃,120,000 h-1 and b 5%(volume)H2O,owe to a higher relative atomic ratio of oxygen vacancies and Oβ,the stronger interaction between metal particle and support,the optimum redox properties.The reaction mechanism was speculated by detecting the reaction products selectivity at different reaction temperature.It was shown that the reaction system for removal of HCN over CuO/CeO2 catalytic material involved chemisorption,catalytic hydrolysis,catalytic oxidation as well as NH3-SCR reactions.Zhihao Yi Jie Sun Jigang Li Tian Zhou Shouping Wei Hongjia Xie Yulin Yang 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,10:1
13Fatigue Damage Mechanism of AL6XN Austenitic Stainless Steel at High Temperatures显示文摘By the combination of transmission electron microscope, neutron diffraction and small-angle neutron scattering methods, mechanical fatigue behavior of AL6XN austenitic stainless steel was investigated in the temperature range of 400–600 °C. At 400 °C, in addition to the occurrence of dynamic strain aging, the formation of short-range order was evidenced from the forbidden electron diffraction spot of 1/3 {422} in face-centered cubic(fcc) structure viewed down [111] zone axis, which facilitate the planar slip mode of dislocation and result in the work hardening during the fatigue deformation. The fatigue damage is mainly dominated by the accumulation of planar slip band and the interaction among various slip systems. With increasing temperature, precipitates of chi phase, Laves phase and sigma phase were formed during the fatigue tests at 500 and 600 °C. An increase in precipitation content at 600 °C has also been confirmed by both scanning electron microscope and small-angle neutron scattering analysis. The dislocation pileup originating from the uncoordinated deformation between precipitate and austenitic matrix is an important fatigue damage leading to crack. 14BGB-A445,a novel non-ligand-blocking agonistic anti-OX40 antibody,exhibits superior immune activation and antitumor effects in preclinical models显示文摘t OX40 is a costimulatory receptor that is expressed primarily on activated CD4+,CD8+,and regulatory T cells.The ligation of OX40 to its sole ligand OX40L potentiates T cell expansion,differentiation,and activation and also promotes dendritic cells to mature to enhance their cytokine production.Therefore,the use of agonistic anti-Ox40 antibodies for cancer immunotherapy has gained great interest.However,most of the agonistic anti-OX40 antibodies in the clinic are OX40L-competitive and show limited efficacy.Here,we discovered that BGB-A445,a non-ligand-competitive agonistic anti-OX40 antibody currently under clinical investigation,induced optimal T cell activation without impairing dendritic cell function.In addition,BGB-A445 dose-dependently and significantly depleted regulatory T cells in vitro and in vivo via antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity.In the MC38 syngeneic model established in humanized OX40 knock-in mice,BGB-A445 demonstrated robust and dose-dependent antitumor efficacy,whereas the ligand-competitive anti-Ox40 antibody showed antitumor efficacy characterized by a hook effect.Furthermore,BGB-A445 demonstrated a strong combination antitumor effect with an anti-PD-1 antibody.Taken together,our findings show that BGB-A445,which does not block OX40-OX40L interaction in contrast to clinical-stage anti-OX40 antibodies,shows superior immune-stimulating effects and antitumor efficacy and thus warrants further clinical investigation.Beibei Jiang Tong Zhang Minjuan Deng Wei Jin Yuan Hong Xiaotong Chen Xin Chen Jing Wang Hongjia Hou Yajuan Gao Wenfeng Gong Xing Wang Haiying Li Xiaosui Zhou Yingcai Feng Bo Zhang Bin Jiang Xueping Lu Lijie Zhang Yang Li Weiwei Song Hanzi Sun Zuobai Wang Xiaomin Song Zhirong Shen Xuesong Liu Kang Li Lai Wangl Ye Liu 2023Frontiers of Medicine2023,17,6:0

16Variability of Prorocentrum donghaiense response to allelopathic action from Alexandrium pacificum in laboratory culture显示文摘The dinoflagellates Alexandrium pacificum and Prorocentrum donghaiense are two well-known harmful algal blooms(HABs)-forming species,both were usually found in the same sea areas in form of HABs in China.To date,there is no mechanistic model that can fully explain the occurrence of P.donghaiense blooms with A.pacificum.We found that different strains of P.donghaiense had different intrinsic growth rates of 0.107-0.215/d,and these strains exhibited different responses to the allelopathic action from A.pacificum.Some strains of P.donghaiense could grow well despite some degrees of inhibition in a short period,suggesting the two algal species P.donghaiense and A.pacificum could coexist,even if A.pacificum was allelopathic.Our findings may advance the understanding of phenotypes in P.donghaiense and provide a potential mechanism involved in the coexistence of P.donghaiense and A.pacificum in the same area.Hongjia HUANG Chuqiao GAN Jiahui HUANG Chen ZOU Hongye LI Jiesheng LIU Weidong YANG 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,4:0
